once again I think about halloran/logan and remember an oomfie saying that they're like hoffman/strahm with a reversed dynamic (personality)
think:
halloran = sleazy corrupt cop
logan = vengeful guy with a dead wife, has okayish morals i guess (not really)
and compare it to:
hoffman - vengeful guy with a dead sister, non-corrupt-turned-corrupt cop thanks to jigsaw
strahm = okayish morals kinda cop but gets real angry easily when things don't go his way .
yeah. think about it.

How each Saw cop takes their coffee
Hoffman: hot black coffee
Strahm: hot black coffee with 2 sugars
Rigg: not a coffee drinker, prefers energy drinks. When he does drink coffee its an iced black cold brew with 2 shots of espresso and sometimes he adds like half a can of red bull or something
Tapp: hot caramel coffee with 2 creams and 2 sugars
Sing: mocha coffee with 6 sugars, if Tapp is around he gets it hot if he's not around he gets it iced
Perez: iced coffee with extra ice, double cream, double liquid sugar and depending on the time of year a seasonal flavor
Kerry: hot caramel latte with whip cream and mocha drizzle on top and on the cup
Matthews: either a hot chocolate with 2 espresso shots or a hot coffee with 3 sugars, 1 cream and 2 espresso shots
Schenk: iced latte with whipped cream and either 2 pumps of sweetened vanilla, 2 pumps of sweetened caramel, or 2 pumps of a fall/winter seasonal flavor
Banks: hot coffee with 1 cream
Halloran: hot black with 1 unsweetened vanilla shot

Thoughts on Mark Hoffman and Brad Halloran.
Hoffman and Halloran could very much be considered both sides of the same coin. Corrupt, little care of consequences of their actions, and driven to do what they feel is the right thing. And while yes, there is no way to deny the fact that they are very much similar in that narcissistic attitude that allows them to bend and break the rules where they see fit, the reasons that brought them to such a place in life and who they are/were at their base are very different.
At the beginning of his career, Hoffman's intent was pure. He joined the force to make a difference. Why? Because Angelina. His sister was the driving force in all the decisions he made and shaped the man that he became and wanted to become. It was the two of them against the world, and he wanted to be someone that she was proud of. Bending of the rules and corruption that came was more from being molded by the department that he joined. It never occurred until he became a homicide detective. It was a necessity in order to keep his job. That doesn't mean that he didn't come to enjoy it to some degree as time went on. However, the spiral came once his sister was murdered and that murderer was let off on a technicality. His belief and trust in the justice system were shattered. Hoffman, while he had the obvious capability and inherent being to become what he did, it was more trauma induced than anything else. There is a chance that had he not lost Angelina, there is a chance that while he would have been corrupt to some degree, because there is a level of protection and brotherhood in the occupation, he wouldn't have gone to the level that he had. Nor would he had spiraled to the point of megalomania and complete disassocation.
Brad Halloran, whose background isn't explicated stated or examined, is a corrupt, narsacisstic individual who is the sort that got into the occupation because he wanted to have the power over others. The sort of man who was the all-American, all star in high school but picked on and bullied everyone to no consequence. He was the sort who could never do wrong and rarely if ever was told no. Rules and consequences never applied to him and never would. Even as a beat cop, before he made it to detective, he was the sort to twist witness statements, plant evidence, and rough up individuals. All either on the down low or at a level that was still deemed acceptable. Brad was never caught up in a situation that jeopardize his career. He is a man who truly cares little for others. The ends justify the means but even then, if someone he deems unworthy is the injured or victim party, there is little drive to actually do anything about it. Everyone and everything is a moving wheel in hisnown game and life. His goals and results matter. Not what collateral comes from it and he has always been that way. It's about him winning. Even in the final game against Logan, he doesn't feel that he needs to be tested because he won. There was never any trauma induced psychosis or an event that pushed him towards the trajectory of his life. He just is who he is by nature.

The Miracle Club (12): More Old Folks Escaping to France!
#onemannsmovies #filmreview of "The Miracle Club". #TheMiracleClub. Star acting power but an unremarkable Dublin-set drama. 3/5.
A One Mann’s Movies review of “The Miracle Club” (2023). Having watched “The Great Escaper”, my next cinema visit was to see “The Miracle Club”… in a way, “same old, same old”. Bob the Movie Man Rating: Plot Summary: It’s Dublin 1967 and Maureen, a local stalwart of the community, has died just prior to a church trip to Lourdes that she was organising. 'Superman' Five-Film Collection on 4K Review
The following review was written by Ultimate Rabbit correspondent, Tony Farinella. The idea of being a superhero is something which appeals to people all across the world.  They want the chance to start out as an ordinary individual and transform themselves into something special and magical.  1978’s “Superman” is a perfect example of this, especially with its leading man, Christopher Reeve. …

beg them for mercy, legs all trembled and weak as they ruthlessly made you ride them non-stop 😩🙏
Your thighs are covered in small red marks as Rune holds them with one set of arms, while the other firmly holds your arms behind your back. If it wasn’t for those arms holding you upright, you surely would’ve collapsed into his torso by now. You attempt to say something, but only whimpers pass your lips in your exhausted state. Rune utters a deep, satisfied chuckle, and drives his cocks into your swollen hole, picking up his pace once more after a brief moment of respite. You gasp from the overstimulation, simultaneously loving the pleasure, and not knowing how much more you can handle. “That’s it,” Rune whispers as the mouths on his hands begin the nibble and suck at your sensitive thighs once again. “That’s my little fuck toy.”
Tentacles roam your body, leaving behind small red circles as they keep you upright. Your body moves according to Halloran’s wishes, and he’s controlling you perfectly. He adores the way you arch your back when his tentacles suck and pull on your nipples, and he savors your moans when he stuffs your tight hole with his tentacles and cocks. “Please,” as all you manage to get out in between moans, making a teasing grin spread on Halloran’s lips. “Want some more, do ya? I think I can give you just a little extra.”
The Forest Guardian doesn’t have any extra extremities to keep you from giving into exhaustion, so when you collapsed into his chest, you dejectedly thought you were finished. But you realize the feeling of the petals on his cocks digging into your walls, unwilling to let go, and the Forest Guardian embraces you into his chest. “Don’t think it’s over yet, my love,” he says as you feel his abundant cum rush into your hole, and spilling down your sensitive thighs. “No, no, we’ve just begun.”

A Knife Driven Into A Clockwork Heart
A doll with a knife in its heart.
It's dull, stained with blood.
But it forms the very core of its clockwork heart.
...
It was important to the entity that became the doll, after all.
Endlessly important.
A comfort.
An escape.
Marks to trace its every desperate effort to cull the pain that threatened to swallow it.
...
Until.
It couldn't anymore.
And its soon-to-be witch.
Found it.
At the end of the broken road.
...
Its witch made its core, then.
A knife - driven into a clockwork heart.
And it would never be the same afterward.
...
Of its knife, she made a sword against the coming of the night.
...
And thus.
Despite everything.
The doll persists.

thank you so much for your kind ask about my ocs!! I'm here to extend the same invitation, as I'd love to learn more about your ocs! 💛
!! so over the past year i spent a lot of time playing dark souls and have a ton of ocs from different playthroughs and themed around covenants and areas in that game that i adore. i did a write up of them here (i don't want to make the post too long). i also tag all of my stuff about souls ocs as #souls ocs.
i also play a ton of d&d and right now my active characters are:
for a homebrew eberron game called arvignarvivex (lovingly nicknamed aardvark) 🪐
SHAE KAELIRI • he/him mark of shadow whispers bard / assassin rogue who is actually my back up character for the campaign as my main PC hurled herself into an archfiend's demiplane in search of her brother's soul (a grain of sand). He is the world's most stressed out man who is being so normal about it. Last session the paladin, also a mark of shadow elf, who happens to have flying boots piggybacked him around in the forest as she flew around because neither of them wanted to get their shoes muddy. He is delightful and a hater and my party jokes that if they gave him power over the country he is from he would be a tyrannical little cunty dictator. 🔏
ROWAN MADDOC HALLORAN • she/her spring eladrin hunter ranger / monster slayer fighter / bladesinger wizard who is my main PC of aardvark who makes the worst decisions of all time because she is driven by her fear response 24/7. she accidentally time traveled 40k years into the future at the start of the campaign after the collapse of the cul'sir empire and ever since has been bumbling around with two idiots in love teaching herself wizardry and EXCELLING at it at a scary rate. she killed her brother now she wants him back. her fiance is immortal and they're having issues and are going to have a baby to solve them. she has a knife that can cut through reality and 2 more wishes left on her ring of three wishes. 🍂
for a tyranny of dragons game i am playing:
ELIO ECLISSI • he/him dragonblessed redemption paladin / divine soul sorcerer who is essentially the fantasy version of a child influencer/celebrity who has grown up and has to figure out how to detatch himself from his family and also the image they created for him. he is the destined scion of bahamut (his twin sister is the heir of tiamat) and that image is EVERYTHING to his father and so elio his entire life has lived the perfect image of chivalry and virtue and masculinity and curtusy. everything went to shit however when he left home after finding out his sister had ran away years prior and his parents didn't bother to tell him. he would let her kill him, she probably will kill him. he let someone he met one day ago turn him over to the cult of the dragon because he trusted that it was 'a bit' and it only kind of was. his familiar is a little canary who is secretly a dragon bahamut sent to watch over him. 🫅🏼
i have more ocs but i don't want to make this post drag more than it has but these are some of the ones near and dear to my heart rn :)

Damon has been cast in an upcoming Blumhouse/Amazon Prime Horror Action series and as a series regular!!! I'm fucking screaming! His character is “the owner of a successful country music club" named Lucky. 😭 I'm so excited for this! Full Article from BloodyDisgusting:
Four new cast members join Kevin Bacon and Jennifer Nettles on Blumhouse TV’s “The Bondsman,” an action horror series for Amazon’s Prime Video. That includes actor Damon Herriman (Run Rabbit Run, The Nightingale, “Mindhunter”). Variety reports that Herriman, Beth Grant (No Country For Old Men, Donnie Darko), Maxwell Jenkins (“Arcadian,” “Lost In Space”) and Jolene Purdy (“The White Lotus,” “Orange Is The New Black”) have all joined the show in series regular roles. The action horror series “centers on Hub Halloran (Kevin Bacon), a backwoods bounty hunter who comes back from the dead with an unexpected second chance at life, love, and a nearly-forgotten musical career — only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist.” “The Bondsman” was created by Grainger David (The Chair), who will also executive produce. Erik Oleson will serve as showrunner and executive producer via CrimeThink. Jennifer Nettles will play Hub Halloran’s ex-wife, Maryanne. Beth Grant will play Kitty, the mother of Hub Halloran. Herriman will appear as Lucky, who is described as “the owner of a successful country music club, who is in a relationship with Maryanne.” Jenkins will play Cade, Hub and Maryanne’s son. Jolene Purdy will play Midge, who is described as “weary with the understated gravitas of someone who’s learned the hard way how to hold her ground in a male-dominated world. Midge may look unassuming but she’s actually a secret emissary.” Amazon ordered eight half-hour episodes of “The Bondsman.” Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, and Chris Dickie for Blumhouse TV also executive produce, as does Paul Shapiro from CrimeThink. Bacon will also executive produce in addition to leading the series. “The Bondsman” also marks the latest collaboration between Blumhouse and Amazon. Blumhouse is also behind Prime Video’s horror dramedy “The Horror of Dolores Roach,” which debuted last summer on the streaming platform.
