Breaking Bot (read more for some rambling about mega man fully charged)
Mega Man Fully Charged has been on my mind again lately, which made me realize that there's literally a robot named Chemistryman who worked as a chemistry teacher. Not using him as a Walter White stand-in would be a criminal offense.
I'll have to admit I started getting back into Fully Charged again after seeing some asshole on twitter complain about the character design for the hundredth time. I just can't stand that kind of negativity. I swear to god, Fully Charged is like the Sonic Boom of the Mega Man franchise. Personally, I really enjoy the FC designs. I've probably said this before, but I feel like the redesigns give some of the more forgettable robot masters way more character. Like, do I care for Classic Drillman from Mega Man 4? I mean, yeah, I do, but I wouldn't care as much if it wasn't for his Fully Charged incarnation.
I also really enjoy most of the original robot masters. I already talked plenty about Blastowoman and why I love her so much, but I want to talk about the others this time.
Take for example Chemistryman. Comparisons to Walter White out of the way, I feel like his character was a really fun idea. God knows I had teachers who put me to sleep back in the day. For me, it wasn't chemistry though, it was my economics teacher. I always compared her to a story teller at a Christmas market who would read children stories out of her big fairy tale book. Only that in reality, it was stuff like the minimization/maximization principle. Most of my notes for that class were incomprehensible chicken scratch, because I just couldn't keep my eyes open. In the end, I slept through like half her classes, lol. But I gotta say that I still always got a B or higher in the end. Somehow. I thank god every day that I never have to step foot in a school again.
I really wish Chemistryman got a little more time to shine though. Two episodes is just way too little. I would gladly take three more episodes with him over those gross Gutsman episodes. I know I love talking about wasted potential with this show, but I wish there was an episode that focused on Chemistryman outside of the school setting. I get that his whole character is "boring, bitter teacher", but I'd really like to see what he gets up to when he's not trying to force children to listen to his chemistry lectures. Like having Aki try to talk him into going into retirement for good. And then he tries to find hobbies for him so that he doesn't bore himself to death. I can see him getting into building model ships or something like that, lol.
Now that I'm already writing up a storm again, I might as well talk about some other headcanons I have about the FC bots. Since Woodman was in sleep mode for 30 years after the war ended (I don't know where I got that number from. I rewatched his debut episode, but the exact number doesn't appear anywhere. Oh well, let's just pretend this is canon, even if it isn't.) we got kind of a Shadow the Hedgehog type situation on our hands. All of his friends and family got to live their lives in this new, peaceful world of harmony between robots and humans, while Woodman spent 30 years powered down in a bush or something. Completely forgotten about. Like, why didn't they go look for him after the war ended? I don't think Aki and Suna wandered that far into the forest for their school assignment. If you really think about Woodmans back story for a moment, you realize how fucked up it actually is.Ā
Now my explanation for this goes into heavy heavy headcanon territory. When Suna calls the principal about Woodman, he warns her that Woodman is dangerous and to get away from him immediately. Now why would he say that? The principal also calls him "ruthless" in that same explanation. What I think happened back then was that Woodman actually planned to assassinate the human armies leader. (Possibly Sgt. Night?) The leader of the robots caught wind of his plan and put him into sleep mode himself, since he and Dr. Light were on the brink of finding a way to end the war peacefully. In my mind, this leader is the FC version of Swordman. Don't ask me why, he was just the first guy I thought of. And then it just stuck.
I know this makes Woodmans back story even more fucked up, but I just love putting my favorite blorbos through hardship. Don't even ask me about my headcanons for Drillman. They'd actually put me in prison.
Now all this culminates after Woodman is reactivated by Suna and Aki. Finding himself alienated from all his former friends and comrades (Maybe the other Mega Man 2 robot masters?), what was he supposed to do? He couldn't spend the rest of his life isolated (and homeless) in the forest, could he? And this is where season 2 could have delivered. But I'm done whining about that. If Capcom doesn't deliver, I gotta write my own season 2. Simple as that.
Anyway, getting back to Chemistryman, since he's pretty old, I imagine that he was already working as a teacher when Woodman was still around. Maybe he even was his teacher at some point.
And since I love having my favorite characters interact, I also thought of a scenario where Drillman wanders into the forest out of frustration over his miserable life, only to meet Woodman by coincidence. In the end, Woodman helps him work through his daddy issues and his body dysmorphia, while Drillman helps Woodman reintegrate and manage this (for him) completely new world of peace. Another great headcanon of mine is that Chemistryman is actually Acidmans father. Just because I think it would be funny. And as Fully Charged has confirmed: robots in that universe do indeed have parents. (Flashback to the time I drew Dr. Light beating the shit out of Drillman's father)
Speaking of Drillman.... For being one of my favorite Mega Man characters of all time, I haven't drawn him nearly enough. That will probably be my next project.
This might also be a great time to tell you that I've never watched Breaking Bad before, lol. Everything I know about it comes from RTGame's Stardew Valley playthrough and the RTVS Half Life parody.
Sorry for all the yapping. But if I don't talk about robots at least once a day, I might die. This is a serious condition.
#megaman#mega man#mega man fully charged#acidman#acid man#chemistry man#chemistryman#im just gonna add my essays under the read more from now on hehe#the funny crossover you never know you needed#i am very normal about the fully charged bots#should i also tag woodman and drillman? eeeh no

The Power of Negative Circumstances: How to Turn Them to Your Favor
ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØ
I totally get how hard it can be to stay on track with your manifestations, especially when something negative or the complete opposite of what you want shows up in your reality. I've been practicing the Law of Assumption for years now, but it wasn't until about two years ago that I really figured out how to handle these "negative" situations. So, today, I want to share how I approach these momentsāand how you can actually turn them into something that helps you move closer to your manifestation.
ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØ
Whenever something comes up that Iād normally consider negative, I assigned positive meanings to it.
And what do I mean by that? Well, instead of seeing it as a setback, I choose to see it as an opportunity. For example, letās say Iām trying to manifest more money, but then something happens in my reality that makes me spend moneyālike my laptop or car breaks down. In those moments, I tell myself two main things:
"My old story is aware that my manifestation is near therefore it is trying to get me to believe in my old story rather than the my new story that I have been telling myself for a while."
"This is just a test to see if I can stay consistent with my new story, no matter what happens, or if Iāll fall back into old habits."
I tend to go with the first mindset because it keeps me grounded in the belief that my manifestation is 'near' (I'm referring to its physical materialization, however I am steadfast in my belief that my results and my desires are already present energetically). Both of these ideas help me stay calm and not let fear or worry take over. Instead, I turn that energy into excitement and use it as fuel to speed up my manifestation 'process'.
The whole point of adopting these mindsets is to stay motivated and focused, while also detaching from any negative emotions that pop up. Iāve gotten so used to not seeing challenges as "roadblocks" anymore, but as opportunities to boost my manifestation power. Honestly, now when something that doesn't align with my desires decided to show up in my reality, my mind just automatically goes, "Oh, this is a chance for me to get my results instantly!" and because of that, whatever I want or desires usually pops up immediately after these 'negative' circumstances passed.
Of course, if youād rather not have any tests or challenges at all, you can always manifest a smooth, easy process where everything just flows without bumps. Whether you want to do that through affirmations, scripting, mirror work, or anything else that feels right for you, itās totally up to you.
ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØ
And if youāre struggling with negative thoughts or just need someone to help you stay consistent with your new story, Iāve got you covered. I offer a service that helps you turn those negative thoughts into positive ones, and if you need someone to help you stay accountable, I also offer support on my BuyMeACoffee platform. Iāll link both of those below if youāre interested:
youtube
Note: My Manifestation Buddy service is currently priced higher, but I plan to lower the cost once I have a steady client base that enables me to offer it at a more affordable rate. However, the other services I provide, such as custom subliminals, affirmations, and more, are significantly more affordable compared to what's available in the market today.
ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØā”ą§ā⢠tļ¾ļ½”ļ¾ā¢āąØ
I hope this helps you shift your perspective when challenges pop up on your manifestation journey. Remember, it's all about staying consistent, trusting the process, and using any "negativity" as a stepping stone toward what you want. If you need any extra support or just want someone to help you stay on track, donāt hesitate to check out the services Iāve linked above. Youāve got this, and Iām here for you every step of the way!
Sending you positive vibes and good luck with your manifestations! š«

After all the backlash we received, we decided to expand our opinion on BG3's approach to companions's sexual orientations ā or lack thereof, along with the not so mysterious reason behind this choice.
TLDR: Playersexuality was a marketing choice, due to the creator's own admission. Given the lack of a canon sexuality for any of the companions, our interpretations are just as valid as yours.
No matter how many arguments we make for our case, both times we analyzed a BG3 character's behaviour on the matter of their sexuality, many of the answers we received were fixated on the same rhetoric: "Larian planned for every character to be pansexual".
We're going to look into this matter specifically, to see what Larian stated precisely and what the reasoning behind that choice is.
We want to dig deeper into one of the infamous interviews* with Larian Studio's writers (Corcoran and Law) and narrative designer (Welch) that always gets brought up when someone dares to interpret any companion as anything but pansexual/bisexual.

The title speaks for itself already: Larian always took player's opinions and preferences for the game heavily into consideration when designing BG3, and never tried to hide this, making this feature of their writing and designing process a badge they wear proudly.
One example we can think of is quoted very early in the article: Halsin's role being expanded to a romance option after fans expressed their attraction to the druid.

But let's see what the interview actually says about the companions.
The question we're going to examine focuses on the MC's identity being the focal point of this feature.

So what do the interviewees have to say on this matter? What is the main thing they took into account when making this choice?

Law immediately expands on what the interviewer hinted at. Her main interest is being true to DnD's inherent sense of freedom and self expression, allowing the player to make every choice they desire to live their gaming experience as close to their fantasies as possible.
Of course she also brings the idea of all companions being pansexual to the table: but not only she attributes it to their "values", an argument that feels icky to say the least, implying that being attracted to all genders is a value, a moral principle, rather than a neutral characteristic some people have ā but her main focus clearly seems to be not limiting the player's imagination to design choices.

Corcoran also centers his answer around player's freedom being the default of Larian's designing process, stating that assigning their characters "fixed roles" (like a game-impacting sexuality?? as if sexuality is a "role", ffs.) makes the game less dynamic. Yet again, what matters the most in the writers' view is allowing the player to portray their own story however they see fit.

Welch's answer is the only one that detaches itself from the other two's perspective, concentrating on how sexuality interacts with each character's identity. The "player-sexuality" that is so hated as a concept in the BG3 fandom is ironically quoted as the design choice for every companion's sexual orientation.
All three answers help us to draw a single conclusion: the companions' sexualities were taken into account as a consequence of the design choice to give the player as little limits as possible, rather than as a character trait that is independent from Tav and that expands each character's being as a person.
Of course, we don't think that this conclusion is absurd, from a marketing point of view especially: videogames that came out some time before BG3 confirmed that players dislike feeling "limited" in their romance options.
We can think of examples like Cyberpunk 2077, whose fans are still furious because of Judy's romance being available only to female V's, or Dragon Age Inquisition, whose canonically gay character Dorian made some female fans very upset by the impossibility to romance him if your character isn't male.
And surely these aren't the only games that left gamers unsatisfied by this design choice. These situations made the same point we got from this interview: players want to be free to fantasize about whatever character they like and to feel less limited as possible by any character's traits.
So Larian is right, players much prefer to be free to romance whoever they like with every MC they want.
After all, it's glaring that the game doesn't focus on representing bi/pansexuality as an authentic trait that the companions share.
Some characters tell the players about their past relations involving only people of their same sex, like Astarion and Minthara, while others don't talk about/never had any relationship at all, like Lae'zel and Shadowheart, and Gale has never been with anyone besides Mystra. Halsin is the only exception in this matter.
Little to no effort was put in making all the different companions feel truly attracted to both sexes. Most of the time, the only representation of this "identity" depends, of course, on the Tav the player decides to make only.
What does this mean for our argument then?
If anyone's free to imagine "their" companions to be whatever they want them to be, because this is the liberty that was intended to be available to any player, then how is reading someone like Astarion as gay, like Lae'zel as lesbian or like Gale as straight any different than imagining all of them as bi/pan? If this is the spirit of the game, to let anyone act out their dream campaign without any limits, then everyone's personal reading on the companion's sexual orientations is equally worthy of respect.
If a character being homosexual for example is what we see being more consistent with their story, their experiences and their expression of themselves... it wouldn't be true to Larian's project, the same one that allows a lot of you to see every companion as pansexual, to aggressively deny us the possibility to share this theory with others that may enjoy it and prefer it.

Strengths and Weaknesses
When it comes to employability and entrepreneurial skills, everyone has areas where they are thrive and others where they need growth. One of my greatest strengths is time management when balancing school assignments, and projects, I am typically very good at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively. For example, during my studies at Confederation College, I managed a marketing project while also staying on top of my 6 other courses and a full time job. Another strength is communication skills. Iāve had to write research papers, such as one on Shoppers Drug Mart, and during this I had to present my findings clearly to my peers and professors. These experiences have helped me with how I express ideas. A key area I consider a weekeness is selling or premoting my ideas as I sometimes struggle with pitching ideas or advocating strongly for my perspective, especially in group discussions. To improve, I plan to practice these skills in class projects. Another area I struggle with in is financial planning. While I can budget my personal expenses, Iām less confident in applying these skills to entrepreneurial settings. I will try my best to build this by taking more confidence in what I feel is correct and using supporting knowledge to ensure i am educated about these ideas.
Note: I am so sorry this is being completed late, i did not see this assingment. This will not happen again.

Karate History & Box Art Redemption

About a year and a half ago, I mentioned Jordan Mechner's seminal 1984 game Karateka in a post about Sifu, a newly-released beat āem up with a similar martial arts theme and tough-as-nails difficulty level. Sifu's a good game that garnered a certain amount of scrutiny from people who pointed out that it was an interactive experience steeped in Chinese culture but developed by a predominantly white team. This is not inherently a bad thing (Sifuās devs did a respectful job), but considering Western mediaās track record of misrepresenting Asia as an exotic place full of Fu Manchu-mustachioed bad guys and subservient women, itās always worthwhile to be cautious. At any rate, Sifu reminded me a lot of Karateka, another game by a non-Asian creator that owed its lifeblood to Asian culture...and even featured the main protagonist and his love interest as white on the box art, despite the fact that the game clearly takes place in medieval Japan.
The Making of Karateka, a just-released interactive documentary by Digital Eclipse, explains the logic behind this decision via extensive notes that detail every step of the game's creation. From what I can discern, the box art design doesnāt appear to have been Jordan Mechnerās call. (Though the playable Karateka beta included in this package reveals that Mechner had some wacky non-Japanese names in mind for the gameās villain and damsel in distress... Akuma and Mariko were once dubbed āKratangā and āTiger Lily.ā Yikes!) Rather, publisher BrĆøderbundās marketing team seems to have been the division that assigned artist Thomas Blackshear II to paint the cover, instructing him that the titular Karateka was supposed to look like "a young Chuck Norris" or "Luke Skywalker" while Mariko should resemble an "American blonde." Meanwhile, only Akuma was specified as "Japanese."

BrĆøderbundās promotional strategy followed the typical American metality of the era: it's okay to portray a bad guy as a foreign race, but leading men and ladies should be white and ideally blonde. It didn't have to be this way, since Bruce Lee had dominated cinemas with Enter the Dragon only a decade earlier and proved that audiences could accept an Asian hero. But BrĆøderbund decided to go the safe route, despite the fact that Thomas Blackshear is a person of color renowned for his Black and American Indian paintings. (He also portrayed a decidedly unblonde and possibly Asian main character in his early cover sketches.)
My intention here is not to hate on Karateka or any of the individuals involved. The original Karateka game for the Apple II did, after all, feature white hair for its leading man's sprite that could easily be interpreted as blonde (though that was likely due to hardware color limitations more than anything else), and BrĆøderbund justified their decision by claiming they were inspired by the multicolored hair of Japanese manga characters. (Eh, sure.) Also, if we're being honest about it, Blackshear's final art is a beautiful composition even with the questionable racial depictions.

Rather, I'm fascinated with Karateka's box as an example of mildly problematic '80s promotion, and I love how we gain insight into its development thanks to Digital Eclipse' painstaking efforts with what they call the first in their "Gold Master Series" of playable documentaries. Aside from these marketing details, The Making of Karateka delves into Jordan Mechner's early life in precise timeline fashion, letting us explore planning documents, early rotoscoping footage and prototypes of not only Karateka, but the games that preceded it, including Mechner's take on Asteroids and a shooter he was trying to develop called Deathbounce. There's even glimpses at the bones of a platforming puzzle game that started out as Karateka II and would later evolve into Prince of Persia.
Just about every review of The Making of Karateka stresses how this package sets a new standard for preservation in the video game industry, a business that is terrible at chronicling its own past. I won't repeat these arguments too much other than to say that I fullheartedly agree. Behind the scenes featurettes used to be a thing when it came to games ā as a kid, I remember being utterly absorbed with the "Making of King's Quest VI" footage that came included on the CD-ROM ā but these days you're unlikely to see too many of them, especially for titles that were released decades ago. In a world where Nintendo has yet to localize Mother 3 and customers need to rely on emulation and all types of hacks to revisit old games, Digital Eclipse's commitment to curating digital museums dedicated to works like Karateka is an incredible worthy goal ā possibly one of the most important goals that a video game company has ever embarked upon. I can't wait to see more volumes in the Gold Master Series, and can think of many potential entries off the top of my head. Pitfall! Ultima! Doom! Maybe even one day...Sifu? (Likely a stretch, but stranger things have happened.)

But going back to the discusson of art for a moment, one of the most monumental things that The Making of Karateka does is offer a "remastered" version of its title game, complete with impressive graphical flairs, a more managable difficulty level, and even...revised box art. While Thomas Blackshear's original Karateka painting is still displayed prominently throughout the package, when you go to select Karateka Remastered under the list of playable games, you'll see a new mockup box. No longer is Akuma a dehumanized Japanese baddie, no longer is Mariko an all-American girl, no longer is the titular Karateka Luke Skywalker. All three characters are Asian...and get this, the central Karateka is not only Asian, but blonde too.
In one swift stroke, The Making of Karateka not only captures history and chronicles its mistakes, but also revises them for a bright future. Take that, 1984 marketing.

Update: An earlier version of this article stated that the new mockup cover art was illustrated by Digital Eclipse in-house artist Mae Livingston. Mike Mika, the president of Digital Eclipse, reached out to me on Twitter to explain that while Mae was responsible for Karateka Remastered's in-game artwork, the actual box image was made via Midjourney, and the characters were tweaked multiple times to look more culturally appropriate. He added that this methodology was an experiment that Digital Eclipse does not intend to rely on in the future.
I have very mixed opinions on AI art, and I do wish this box had been created by a human. I don't know if I would've written this piece if I'd known that the artwork was made by Midjourney, frankly. Nevertheless, I appreciate Mike actually reaching out to me, and the ultimate message of this article still stands. I hope Digital Eclipse considers the power that an image like this holds ā especially for multiracial people like myself ā and chooses human artists in the future.

apologies for being very sporadic with my writing lately but! i did start an academy course in association with my university wherein i have been assigned to a team to create a ( game ) app, so learning a new programming language while being in academy for 8+ hours has taken a toll on me for the past few days whew. i do hope all of you are doing well and i miss you friends, i hope to catch up soon on all final fantasy news soon. ā”
on the note of my academy project, i ask all gamers a little help if you wish to read further about it!
our ( what we call ) " big idea " surrounds the fact my team wants to create a game that does not require the use of hands. so, think for example what is really popular lately, you know the little game with voice activation in which you have to jump by talking and the higher your pitch the higher the jump? we do not intently want to make something like that, but just so someone gets the idea that gaming could be possible ( by our idea ) even without the use of touch controls.
it is entirely possible to make gaming more accessible in that way as well. my team was thinking of perhaps a rogue-like game in which you could have inputs from eyetracking and / or face cam gestures, so like by shaking your head, tilting right or left, something like that, which also included some voice commands ā "attack", "defend", stuff like that, or perhaps in rogue-like fashion, when it comes down to picking a power up, you could activate it by a voice command ( "sword", "gun", etc. )
it is in early brainstorming phases, but we were asked to research for a general feedback / genuine opinions on wether someone would be interested in a game that takes the focus away from the use of hands ( it does not mean you have to lack the sense strictly / only, we do wish to get an opinion from impaired people, but our professors have also presented to us how accessibility does not mean targeted, thus anyone could really enjoy the game and we do plan to implement more accessible options for other types of disabilities, be it motor or vocal. )
wellllll ā that said! the rogue-like pitch ( think something along the lines of a simplified vampire survivors ) is simply a general idea, we are not yet set, which is why we were asked if people would be ever interested in this " big idea " for something new in gaming. we are not meant to market the app, it is simply a curriculum project and we wish to learn the best from it and from how to work together to create the app. if you have read thus far, a general feedback or any idea would help! i have been doing researches online, and have found a great lot of accessibility tools as well. but on the other side, we also wish to interview perhaps the target, so someone with a disability that would be a great indicator for the project. as well as just general ideas and feedback for the general big idea such as : would you be interested in such a game / with this starting idea in mind? what can we implement that can raise the interest? what should be our focus, you think? what would make such a game creative and innovative / rarely seen before? any question is also welcome on this post and / or over im's and what not, i will try my best to answer and also thank you for your attention and help in advance!

Hermes kid Butters I love you š¤š¤
AND HERES A LIST OF REASONS WHY HE IS A HERMES KID BECAUSE THIS IS PROBABLY MY FAV ASSIGNMENT OF ALL THE KIDS:
1. RESOURCEFULNESS: he is crafty when he wants to be, we all remember how well he adapted to āthe last of the meheecansā and the casa bonita episode where the kid just chilled out with being the last person alive and stayed positive the entire time. Thereās also so many examples of him just coping with Cartmanās bs and I adore him for that.
2. HERMES AS MESSENGER OF THE GODS: kind of a stretch but remember how the Marjorine character was created primarily for him to spy on the girls and relay messages back to the boys?? Also bro like hacking into facebook that one time, online communication is his bitch
3. HERMES AS GOD OF TRICKERY: Professor Chaos. Thatās all Iām saying for this one. Professor Chaos. ALSO YES OKAY SO IN THE SHOW CARTMAN CREATES THE EVIL PLANS, but Butters usually will help carry them out in some way sOOO still a little trickster
4. HERMES AS GOD OF COMMERCE: remember when our sweet innocent boy became a pimp? yeah, that was an experience. Thereās also the whole NFT thing in the future which shows how Butters has a pretty crazy knowledge of the market and how to exploit it for his own gain if he really needs to + in this he also mirrors Hermesā versatility by adapting his business approach with every customer we see him speaking to. And in season 26 the guy seems pretty wise when it comes to getting a job and managing his money, man knows business.
5. GOD OF THIEVERY: again, the NFT shit is basically stealing. Love you Butters but Vic Chaos was kinda crazy (love him tho)
Thank you for coming to my ted talk!!
(Copy and pasted straight from the endnotes of this fanfic lmaoooo, the lost lyre on ao3, have at it)

iām so enjoying your wish posting bc Iāve been curious about this movie, and revelling in every negative review of it lol. like iām sad for the artists but i hope the film flops for the companyās sake.
Oh yeah, everything I've heard about this movie's production sounds like a nightmare for the artists. For example, the little cartoon star creature was originally planned to be a boy who flew down from the stars to help grant Asha's wishes...but the film's assigned screenwriter thought the hero girl having a love interest would bog her down, and be anti-feminist. (When IMO it'd be a fun dynamic of a down-to-earth girl and a manic pixie dream boy) Ultimately, they went with the cartoon star because it's prime for being made into a marketable plushie.
There's also a lot of details in this movie that point to - partial spoiler here - an attempt to establish a Disney Cinematic Universe. The marketing for this movie doesn't go into a lot of detail about the plot or characters for this reason, as they're banking on surprising audiences, likely with anticipation to cause an online discussion fan train. Fortunately, this camrip was free, and spoiling movies isn't illegal š«”

8/6/2024 - 8/6/2024: Have fun doing your research if there is a force higher than humans, or God (Jesus' father), Allah, Krishna, Ong Troi, etc. by using the female Buddha's method, or Trang's method or first proof of God, of detecting life's unusual, weird, and not-man-made coincidences as interceptions in the network of God's database of life to lead us to already our assigne destinies of happiness if we follow our hearts leading us to God; however, if we don't follow our hearts then it will lead us to already assigned destinies of unhappiness via Satan's path. I followed Satan's path many times in my life which led me to being a crippled, mental who lost 16.2 years to have biological children and a condo, and now a semi-homeless but I bitch slapped myself out of Satan's path (quick, temporary, and easy path) and return to God's path by following my heart. When I was younger, 6 years I used to work for Infoseek, women.com, and Doubleclick.net using their databases so I learned to phrase this better. Later on, I became a substitute teacher for 2 years and a highschool history teacher for 1.5 months so that helped me to develop my own theories of life as the female Buddha that explains Buddha's reincarnation theory of life better: Life is a school of compassion via reincarnation with our souls as students. Then I developed my own theory of how I live my life as plain Trang: Nice guys win at the end or nice guy wins at the end.
I seriously think was crippled, mental, lost my condo, lost 16.2 years to have biological children, became a semi-homeless, and a loner which I will die alone as an elderly l because I know too much for no one is supposed to possess that much knowledge and power without any suffering--Just like no empire can be an empire eternally, or monopolies are always broken up at the end. Trang's or the female Buddha's proof of God or Allah or Krishna: I have been on Dailymotion to listen to videos on the universe and other religions ' interpretation of God (father of Jesus). The Muslim claimed they have evidence, but I have yet to hear reasonable one but I do commemorate them as a religion to find evidence to prove existence of God, unlike Christianity where it just throws it in your face to belie without questioning evidence and they dare to force us to believe Jesus is God when it clearly stated in the Bible that Jesus was only God's father. Whatever the Pope and Christianity. I, Trang (Jesus' father, Allah, Krishna, or God living as a woman) knows I have a section of proof: God's database of life (I used to work with the ad placement, ad-sales-marketing database at Doubleclick, Infoseek and women.com) where life's not-man-made coincidences are intercepted points which helps you to lead to your already assigned destiny of happiness if your follow your heart. Forever examples, I nearly dropped out of my Palestinian lawsuit because it got extremely too expensive for my stupidity, but I later learned the selected lawyer for the USA is named Jesus (similar to Jew as Jews in Israel), that not-man-made coincidence gave me a jolt of confidence to not drop our of the lawsuit. Another not-man-made coincidence is I stayed up most of the first day because of me revengeful mental illness to write my reply brief to the Palestinian lawsuit when I have 2 long week to write, when I finished the writing by 90% I learned that Netanyahu was to arrive to the US for his Congressional meeting to ask for more free American weapons in our hard-earned American tax dollars to kill Gazan children who takes up 30% of the population while stealing more of their land in the Occupied West Bank (Bethlehem, Jesus' birth town is located in that region). It made me less angry and agitated because I am defending his presence in America as a Zionist terrorists meeting with American colonial terrorists in Congress while I am devising my plan to relinquish my genocide-gay-Spanish-as-2nd-language American citizenship eternally to return where I came from if it's not too gay. Get it? Not-man-made coincidences only, folks! So be careful of man-made coincidences or you will be tricked by people and actors who will rob your heart, soul, and money. If you don't follow your heart, then you will lead another assigned destiny of unhappiness (or the Devil's path). I can't phrase this very well. As I learn and do more research, I will learn to phrase it better. All I know is if I haven't been witnessing little coincidences in life, I would have never survived in the last 16.2 years since I became a crippled, mental, semi-homeless, lost my condo and lost 16.2 years of healthy window to have children as a hardcore heterosexual female with hardcore heterosexual eggs and hardcore heterosexual baby making factory.
Islam does honor Judaism for its similar belief that God isn't a human being. I, Trang,, injects my opinion here by saying, "If Judaism is so certain about their religion preaching that God isn't a human being, and Judaism relies almost everything on Christianity who promotes that God is a human being to get its land back from 3,000 years ago even though the Muslims have been living there for the last 400 years, then I will side with Islam for I know as a stupid human being that no little ant human being can create life across the universe other than its own human race and a little fake water, live stocks, chemicals, etc. Even if the Muslims lose the Hamas-Israel war, they will win at the end on their firm ground that God is not a human being and that my dear Christianity and Judaism is how you will lose your future children, grandchildren, and dnas to the Islam and the Buddhism a little bit after we are all dead. Unless you Christianity and your buddy Judaism can come out to prove that your Jesus can creat the universe then I and the humanity will dump everything and follow you both.

"While prison administrators boasted that prisoners were able to earn money while in prison, their assertions were somewhat misleading. In a 1924 article in the Baltimore Sun, Henry C. Raynor, a former prisoner who served a three-year sentence in the Maryland Penitentiary in the early 1920s, complained that prisoners often were forced to spend portions of their wages to purchase necessary items such as bedding, underwear, and clothingāitems that many would consider the responsibility of the state to provide. These expenses prevented prisoners from saving more of their wages while engaged in the prison workshops.
The low-wage labor system generated enough revenue to the state to allow the Maryland prison system to operate mostly on a self-sufficient basis and return a profit to the state. The balance for the combined earnings of the Maryland Penitentiary and House of Corrections for 1927 resulted in a surplus of over $33,000 paid to the state treasury. A considerable portion of the surplus came from the profits of prisoners laboring in contract shops and state-use industries. Taxpayers in Maryland during the 1920s contributed little to the general upkeep of the prisons. A 1928 Baltimore news article lauded the convict labor system in the Maryland Penitentiary for being largely āself-sustainingā and noted that the prison ācosts the taxpayers of the State less than $60,000 annually.ā
While the prison labor system was celebrated by state officials for its rehabilitative benefits, it is clear that the revenue it generated substantially motivated the continued reliance on prison labor. Labor union members were concerned with the competition of prison-made products on the open market. Labor leaders agitated for the ending of private prison contracts and advocated for state-use industries. Labor leaders believed that the state-use system was favorable because it meant that prison-made products would be sold directly to states outside of the free market and thus pose less of a threat to workers in labor unions. Evidence of efforts made by prison administrators to bolster state-use industries can be seen in some of the Board of Welfare minutes. For example, in April 1923, the warden of the Maryland Penitentiary and members of the Board of Welfare discussed a plan to employ female inmates in the House of Correction in laundering the clothing of the inmates in both the Maryland Penitentiary and House of Correction. This motion reflected both the desire to find employment for prisoners and to provide traditional gendered work assignments. During this time, women sentenced in the Maryland prison system were kept apart from male inmates. This separation influenced the type of labor that was considered appropriate for female prisoners, thus reflecting the gender norms of labor that were imposed by the prison administration. The Board of Welfare approved the laundry plans, and in the fall of 1923, laundry equipment was moved to the House of Corrections for the use of female inmates.
Male inmates, on the other hand, were seen as fit workers for labor-intensive manufacturing and road construction. Members of the Board of Welfare sought ways to expand the state-use automobile production, and in the spring 1923, held a meeting in the Maryland Penitentiary āin which all parties interested in the making of automobile tagsā¦were present.ā Prison administrators sought to secure auto tag making contracts in states outside of Maryland, and signed a contract with the State of Florida to manufacture automobile tags in the Maryland Penitentiary state-use shops. However, this expansion did not supply enough work to keep all inmates employed, and additional work for inmates was secured by hiring out inmates on state road construction projects. Throughout the summer and fall months, prisoners were taken outside of the prison and transported to road construction sites in various Maryland counties.
True to Progressive Era bureaucratic principles, prison administrators focused attention on the prison conditions and rehabilitation of inmates. One prisoner, Henry C. Raynor, who served a prison sentence in the early 1920s, pointed out the need for better ventilation and temperature control in the cells. Overall, however, he seemed satisfied that conditions in the prison system were improving. Raynor described conversations he had with āold-timeā inmates in the prison who spoke of improved food and work conditions compared with those of years earlier. The prison warden enacted clear policies about appropriate disciplinary methods to rein in power abuses of prison guards. Officers who oversaw work in the prison shops were restricted by new prison policies from using undue force to control the prisoners. One officer complained that he had once been able to beat a prisoner in order to instill discipline, but was now prevented from āknock[ing] his block off as he pleased.ā This illustrates a shift in prison discipline from a reliance on physical force to more humanitarian policies. In addition, it reveals the expansion of bureaucratic rules and procedures used to govern the actions of guards and civil servants employed at the prison. ⦠In regards to the full implementation of these progressive policies, much depended on the attitudes and behaviors of the prison guards. Raynor remarked that the warden was limited by his inability to automatically dismiss guards from service without major cause. Guards who were resentful of the restrictions placed on them found ways to unfairly punish prisoners anyway through nonviolent means. For example, one domineering officer forced inmates on his watch āto stand in driving rain or snow for ten minutes at a time, for no reason except that to show his power.ā While prison policies and punishments were more humanitarian in principle, the attitudes and actions of prison guards responsible for enforcement varied the actual treatment of the prisoners. In similar manner, the ethics of some private contractors at the prison were also suspect. Raynor described how one contractor of a pants workshop would strategically require prisoners to load products during lunch or dinner time as a way to eke out extra work without pay. Another contractor, angered by new terms which required the payment of a higher wage to experienced inmates, attempted to shirk the requirement by rotating inmates through tasks to avoid paying them the higher wage, and a shirt-making firm attempted to āevade the payment of any wage at all to their men, and constantly tried to raise the daily task.ā Prisoners brought grievances to the warden in regards to the shirt contractor, and one day the inmates found the āthe contract cancelled, the contractor gone, and another in his place who was more fair.ā Such accounts reveal that prisoners actively negotiated for fair treatment and that their grievances held some weight with the warden. While the reforms of the 1920s largely improved prison conditions, like other aspects of progressive reform, new prison policies also sheltered racially prejudiced social science recommendations, medical opinions, and merit-based grading systems. Raynor, himself a white male, described his alarm at being seated in the dining hall between rows of black inmates. He learned from fellow prisoners who had been sentenced to the Penitentiary years before, that the āmixing of racesā in the prison used to be more standard, but in more recent years āha[d] been partially corrected.ā This ācorrectionā resulted in increased segregation. Revealing racial prejudice as the normative social view of the time, Raynor published evidence of increased segregation in the prison to further his argument that prison conditions were better in the 1920s than they were years before.
Moreover, racial prejudice also affected services that were rendered by private reform groups that operated outside general state jurisdiction. The Prisonersā Aid Association provided many services for recently released inmates at the John Howard Center boarding house. This center provided temporary housing and shelter and assisted inmates in finding stable employment. However, the housing, meals, and resources at the John Howard Center were only available to white male ex-convicts. The Association reports that similar resources were made available to women and ācolored menā through āprivate houses or other agencies,ā thus signaling the separation of resources on a gendered and racially segregated basis. Progressive Era science also led to troubling medical policies and procedures, including sterilization of prisoners deemed as āfeeble-minded.ā During the 1920s, members of the Board of Welfare and the Board of Mental Hygiene arranged for semiannual joint meetings. The two boards, responsible for the security of those deemed criminal and mentally ill, often communicated regarding the transfer of inmates from the prison system to hospitals and mental care units if they were found psychically unstable. At a joint meeting of the boards on February 17, 1927, the administrators discussed the āsterilization of certain insane and feeble-minded under proper safeguards and with the consent of the patient or his guardian or next friendā and motioned that such āshould be authorized by Act of the General Assembly.ā Discussions such as these highlight the troubling ethics of progressive reforms. State oversight of normative categories severely restricted the freedom and rights afforded to marginalized inmates and mental health patients. While progressive penologists and civic reformers may have insured better living and working conditions in the Maryland state prison system, such reforms came at the cost of greater state control over those deemed unproductive, both in terms of their labor and their reproductive capabilities.

I explored the impact of audience media consumption habits on the industry, leveraging Nielsen articles to substantiate my claims. This research highlighted the dynamic nature of audience preferences and their implications for media strategies.
Personal Growth:
Through various assignments, I discovered my strengths in creative thinking and strategic planning. The project on developing products for 'NOZ N' CHAOS' festival allowed me to blend creativity with market research, resulting in well-rounded products that cater to the target audience.
My ability to conduct thorough research and apply it effectively was tested and refined. For instance, while working on the talent management agencies assignment, I utilized multiple sources to create a comprehensive and visually appealing infographic.
Challenges and Solutions:
One significant challenge was balancing creative ideas with practical feasibility. To overcome this, I employed a structured approach to brainstorming and evaluation, ensuring each idea was both innovative and implementable.
Another challenge was staying current with industry trends. I tackled this by regularly engaging with updated resources and articles, ensuring my knowledge remained relevant and up-to-date.
Research and APA Style Citations:Ā While this project is primarily reflective, I incorporated several academic and industry sources to support my insights. For example, I referenced two Nielsen articles to discuss audience media consumption habits. All sources are cited in APA style, ensuring academic rigor and credibility.
Professionalism:Ā This assignment is presented in an organized and professional manner. The narrative flows logically, with clear transitions between thoughts. The document is free of spelling, grammar, and formatting errors. The Tumblr post link is included below and is active, providing direct access to the post.
