You worked cons?! Cool!!! I’ve been going to cons most of my life! Which ones did you work at (if you don’t mind sharing) I wonder if we were there any of the same years/events.

A good amount of smaller cons around Ohio. I've also worked Cincy comic book expo for a few years. Also matsuricon for a few years. All would be 2016- now.

Only con I think I've been to big outside Ohio is C2E2.

Back in 2016 I made a Cordelia Gallo cosplay from my favorite anime Gosick. I was on a pretty strict budget and used cotton sateen for the whole thing but always wanted to redo it with more sumptuous fabrics. I finally got around to remaking it for Matsuricon. The bodice and overskirt are a wonderful moss green silk I found at the thrift shop for an amazing price. The sleeves are trimmed with some vintage embroidered cotton trim that I bought at an estate sale and velvet ribbon from this Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/listing/706078977/berry-wine-bordeuax-grosgrain-swiss?ref=hp_opfy-2

*Despite everything... It’s still me. 

Wowie. What a journey over just a little bit more than a year. I’ve tried different mask making methods, combining techniques, throwing materials together... but I finally found a method of mask making that works, and works really, really well. 

I want to thank all of you for looking on as I experiment and discover what it truly means to be part of the cosplay community. I love you all very very much. <3 I feel like I can finally be proud of an accomplishment. It’s such a strange feeling... but it’s not bad in the least. Now, I want to move onto bigger things, make more props, try new things. This will be very... very... Interesting. What do you all think?~

One Piece season 9 voyage 2 will be available on August 15. Continuing with the Fishman Island arc, this set will feature twelve new episodes, from 529 to 540. The special features will include episode commentaries for 532 and 534, along with “One Piece Cast Goes to Matsuricon 2016: Q and A Panel.
