When praying, we should not be repetitive or feel like God didn’t understand what we were saying. He knows what we are going to say and ask for before we even begin the prayer!!! We should still come to Him in prayer to say and ask for what we want to, but also have confidence in knowing that He hears us and knows our needs!!!!!

“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to their life? And why are you anxious about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field grow: they do not labor or spin thread for cloth. If that's how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and gone tomorrow, how much more will he loathe you - you of little faith. So do not worry, saying “what will I eat?” or “what will I drink?” or “what will I wear?” For the faithless run after all things, and your God knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of heaven and God's righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Happiness and security is rooted deeply within each of us in the here and now.” - Matthew 6:28-34 by way of The Power of Now.

Our Daily Bread
The phrase “Our Daily Bread” is a central concept in Christian spirituality, especially noted in the Lord’s Prayer. Here’s a summary of what the Bible says about “Our Daily Bread“: 1. The Lord’s Prayer The most well-known reference is in the Lord’s Prayer, found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Jesus teaches his followers to pray: Matthew 6:11 (NRSV): “Give us this day Our Daily…

One way, Jesus!
Tumblr media
I actually got this on my Bible App phone and I was so blessed by the message. I've read the bible cover to cover but I never understood the meaning of this verse until the Holy Spirit finally revealed it to me.
And today syempre I will write this down para maalala ko parin 10-20 years from now. hehe
1.) Jesus said, "He is the way."
Yes, Jesus is the only way for us to be saved! It is not by donating to charity foundations, choosing a religion nor by doing good deeds on our own. It is ONLY through JESUS.
I remember when I was a kid, I was taught na kapag mabait ka, kapag tumutulong ka e, i-memeasure yan ni San Pedro versus sa mga naughty/bad things na ginawa mo.. kapag mas mabigat yung good deeds pasok ka sa langit, pag mabigat naman ang bad deeds, nako po. hehe Meron din religions who claim na they are the way for people to be save, so they invite people to join their sect. But as I walk with the Lord and learn more and more about Him through His word (the Bible), I learned na those were just human ideas and lies.
Because the truth is, Jesus said in His word na, He is the only way, and that no one comes to Father God except through Jesus himself.
Jesus is our ONLY mediator to God. That is why whenever we pray, we always say "IN JESUS' NAME" after praying or requesting to God. We cannot use our own name and religion's name because we all know that we are not perfect. We are actually sinners, and it is impossible for us to come to God on our own because sin cannot stand in His presence. God hates sin. And JESUS is the only man who have ever walked sinless and perfect in this unperfect world, making Him the perfect sacrificial lamb for all of us to be saved.
"As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” -Romans 3:10-12"
"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10"
2.)Jesus said, "I am the TRUTH".
JESUS is the STANDARD OF TRUTH. A lot of false teachers claimed that their words are the truth but their so called truth causes many innocent people to be misled and blinded. (Jeremiah 14:14, 2 Peter 2:1-3)
JESUS came to this world to fulfill the word of God. He is our perfect example, our standard to follow and NO ONE ELSE. ( 1 John 2:6) The Lord walked on this earth sinless, obeying Father God up to the end. He had overcome all the testing of life and even death.
The Bible is our source of Truth. If ever confused ka man, or hindi mo alam ang purpose mo, or kung san ka papunta. The Bible serves as our life guide/life manual. It contains all the life examples of the witnesses that came before us, and also the life our Lord Jesus.
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. -2 Timothy 3:16"
Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. - Ephesians 5: 1-2
3.) Jesus said, "He is the LIFE".
When Lord Jesus was crucified on the cross, He took all the consequences/punishments we deserve due to all the sins we have committed in our lifetime. He was condemned to die because of it. He suffered in order for us to be saved. HE PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE.
Kaya every year meron Holy week to commemorate the importance of what Lord Jesus' has done during his time here on Earth. And be joyful that we are no longer bound to sinful nature. When Lord Jesus rose from the dead, that means we have a new life in Him. We are no longer controlled by our sinful nature, we are free from the bondage of death and sin. We can finally say NO to it if we really want to.
The Lord offers new life to those who wanted to live their life to the fullest potential IN CHRIST. Not on your own anymore, but a life with the Lord. Walking together, side by side. Hehe
"I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin. -Romans 7:22-25"
"So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God. When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced a harvest of sinful deeds, resulting in death. But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit. -Romans 7:4-6"
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. - John 10:10
"NOT AN ACCIDENT"
If Jesus is speaking to your heart right now. Maybe this is not an accident na napadaan ka sa page na 'to. I don't know what's in your heart but GOD knows. He knows who you truly are. And He actually died for you to save you and He's offering you a new life with Him.
But of course, God wants us to be truly honest and to have a heart of repentance. This is something na you need to decide for yourself.
Firstly, you have to repent as you come to Him by confessing your sins to Him and ask for forgiveness. It will help us to finally be free from sins that still hinders us from coming to God.
1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Secondly, openly surrender your life to God. Meaning we are giving Lord Jesus full control over our lives. We no longer live for ourselves but we live for God. He will become our anchor in life and protector of our soul.
For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. - Matthew 16:25
And lastly, believe in your heart that He is your LORD AND SAVIOUR.
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9
"COMING BACK TO GOD"
Back in 2011, when I first met Jesus. I actually decided to surrender my life to Him during the church's altar call. I remember our youth pastor made us pray the sinner's prayer. And I have never regretted surrendering my life to Him after that.
You can pray the sinner's prayer just like this:
Lord Jesus, you know my heart and I cannot hide everything from you. You know that I am not a clean person and I have committed countless sins against you. Lord, I am sorry for everything. I open my heart to you and surrender everything to you. Change me, Lord, and clean my heart from all of my sins. Be the Lord of my life and my heart. Have your way in me. You are my Lord and my Savior. Help me to fully trust in You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
and as you surrender your life to Jesus, I want you to know that by faith believe that you are truly forgiven and saved. Kasi ngayon, you belong to God's family. hehe Live by faith, not by sight/emotions.
and another thing, You need a church! Now that you belong to God, you are part of the Body of Christ. Find a church that will help you grow as a believer of Christ. It is important na mapalibutan tayo ng mga tao that shares the same faith. It will help you change, grow and be encourage especially when you are facing struggles in life.

One Minute Reflection – 14 February – '... Conceal yourself, in order to find and experience Him....'

‼️”Not long ago, a friend of mine made a major decision that eventually led to the breakup of his family. I spoke with the friend about the wrong thinking that was controlling his actions. His reply was the common Christian retort: “Well, I’ve prayed, and I have peace about it.”
I was shocked by his response. I could not see how a mature believer could claim, that as an answer to prayers for wisdom needed in a tough situation, the Lord had supplied “peace” toward a course of action that was in contradiction to the Scriptures.
The Lord offers to provide supernatural relief from anxieties to those who seek him in prayer: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:7). But this promise is often wrongly used as a way to feel a sense of “peace” about what one has determined for himself to be the will of God.
We impose the notion of “God’s peace” on these desires (even when they contradict Scripture) because they will lead to the absence of pain. God’s will, in contrast, tends to involve harder paths that demand suffering and endurance.
When a marriage struggles with intimacy, it is easy to envy the friend who left his marriage and appears to be happy in an adulterous relationship. This type of friend cannot be a measure for determining the will of God, because he is living in sin. Rather, the Christian friend enduring a less-than-perfect-marriage with joy is the one you should seek. We should go to such friends and share the depth of our suffering so that they can walk with us through our trials.
Whenever we are in pain (mentally, physically, or emotionally), and we want to be free from that pain, we must beware of our desires affecting how we “hear” the voice of God. We have to base it only on the Word of God and not our feelings. If we do not hold our decisions to the standard of God's Word, any peace or joy that we think we are experiencing outside of God's will is a deception that will not and cannot ever last.
Our Lord Jesus, with a full understanding of the wrath facing him at the Cross, came to a settled decision in prayer: “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will” (Mt. 26:42). By embracing suffering rather than letting it be the missing piece in determining God’s will, he was able to provide us the peace we need to endure our trials as the will of God.
~ Eric C. Redmond
Father I pray You renew my mind and thoughts and align them with Your Will, according to Your Word.
Saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” Luke22:42
Give thanks in ALL circumstances; for THIS is the WILL OF GOD for you. 1stThessalonians 5:18
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah29:11
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs3:5-6
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. Proverbs19:21
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians5:17
If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority. John7:17
But seek first the kingdom of God (which is His will) and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew6:22
