I'm still wondering what the perfect warm up is for this style, i mostly do spirals, boxes and other random figures before starting a drawing and it's quick but it seems like it takes me like 5 or 10 minutes to warm up for now in this style, the time got shorter tho, i think before it was worst but now it's better. It really makes me wonder with amazement how animators can replicate styles so well. I started making notes for myself today to keep in mind the 'do and dont' of the style, because rebornica isn't an animator with a big ahh animated series we can't get a simple book with what to do and what you shouldn't when drawing the style. I MAYYYYY post the Do and Don't guide when i get comfortable with the style but i maybe just gonna gatekeep it muahahhah- ejem...

I been studying this style in a serious manner for like a month or 4 weeks?? Something like that sjjs, with references and stuff like that. I like sharing this journey with y'all, it's pretty cool coming back to my childhood this way. I'll be answering some asks before october since i gotta make a halloween special + a little surprise i been thinking about lately ;3 i hope i can get over my fear of failing, of making new art about the guards in this style because i feel like im not good enough yet but i know I'll be able to overcome this fear soon.

I have so many ideas already and not enough time to work on all of them... but lately an old idea has resurfaced in my memory..

Fullmetal Ed: This has been in my brain for 10 years, it plays out very similarly to the halloween special. Ed has graduated from reading comics to reading manga! He’s picked up a series called “Fullmetal Alchemist” and he’s very excited because the main character has the same name as him! While Edd and Eddy are stopping by to visit him, he receives a package! It’s a cosplay jacket of Edward Elric’s coat! Ed dons the bright red jacket and immediately his mind slips into fantasy land. All of a sudden, he finds himself in the world of fullmetal alchemist, and he, Edward Elric, must go on a quest to find his brother! 

He sees all of the eene characters as different fma characters, and they all get roped into Ed’s shenanigans for better or worse. Edd deduces the only way to pull him out of this trance is to play along with his charade and find this mysterious brother. In the end, they end up building an alphonse replica out of cardboard lol.

The characters Ed sees go as follows:

He sees Eddy as the homunculus, Greed

He sees Edd as Winfry, much to Edd’s embarrassment to roleplay as the love interest lmao

Kevin is Mustang

Rolf is Ling

Jonny is Gluttony

Plank is Pride

Nazz is Lust

Sarah is Envy

Jimmy is wrath (they have an eye-bandage which is really the only reason Ed sees them as that particular homunculus.)

Maybe a cameo with Ragnar, the dog I made for Rolf, and Nina lol... 

I can definitely see funny gags where Ed is actually using alchemy to create things from nothing, which confuses the hell out of Edd.

Truthfully, it started out as me just wanting to draw Donnie in his dapper little vest, sans the tailcoat. And then it just snowballed from there lol.

No specific context for any of these well, except maybe one but the feathery fiend in the top-left is one of Leo's hooligan yokai friends. Her name is Jia. I'll post more about her (and the other yokai teens) in the near future.

Robbery Older Brother Sukuna AU HFBU Pt2

You sit at the counter of the parlour, sketching random designs in your notebook while chatting with Gojo. Your best friend since high school, Gojo recently joined the shop as a piercer, and his cheerful banter has become a daily highlight.

"Hey, Y/N/N," Gojo says, leaning over to peek at your sketches. "That's some good stuff. Ever thought about doing the tattoos?"

You laugh, shaking your head. "Nah, I'm happy just doodling. Leave the ink to the pros."

Gojo grins, his bright blue eyes sparkling with mischief. "Maybe I'll just have to convince you one day."

Across the room, Sukuna is working on a client's back piece, his concentration intense and unwavering. His presence is commanding, even when he's completely focused on his work. Toji and Geto are busy with their own clients, exchanging jokes and stories as they ink intricate designs.

The door chimes as someone walks in, and you glance up out of habit. A man stands in the doorway, looking out of place and nervous. Your eyes narrow slightly as you take in the sight of the gun he's trying to hide under his jacket.

"Uh, everybody freeze!" he shouts, pulling the gun out and waving it around.

A tense silence falls over the room, but only for a moment. Then, to the man's surprise, laughter erupts from all of you.

"Wow, seriously?" Gojo says, rolling his eyes. "Compensating much?"

Toji smirks, not even pausing in his work. "Yeah, buddy, did you lose a bet or something? That thing's tiny."

"Is that a lighter in your pocket or are you happy to see us?" Sukuna taunts.

The man blinks, clearly not expecting this reaction. His face flushes with embarrassment and frustration, his grip on the gun tightening nervously.

Sukuna leans back in his chair, a smirk playing on his lips. "I gotta say, if you're here to rob us, you could at least bring something more threatening. That little pea-shooter won't get you far."

Toji chuckles, glancing over at Geto who nods in agreement. "Seriously, man. Did you think we wouldn't notice you sneaking in here with that?"

You, still seated at the counter, can't help but join in. "And here I thought I'd seen everything in this shop. Turns out, we're now a comedy club."

Gojo, with his usual irreverence, adds fuel to the fire. "I mean, look at you. You look like a marshmallow"

"What does that even mean?" You ask with a giggle and Gojo shrugs.

The man’s face contorts with a mix of anger and humiliation. "Shut up!" he yells, waving the gun again. "I'm serious! I'll shoot!"

Toji raises an eyebrow, his tone still teasing. "Oh, are we doing threats now? How about this: put that thing away before someone gets hurt. Namely, your ego."

The man looks flustered, his grip on the gun tightening as he points it at you. "Shut up! I'm serious! Give me all your money!"

You roll your eyes, unable to contain your sarcasm. "Sweetheart, I have epilepsy. My brain doesn't work right on the best of days. A gun doesn't scare me. Just don't mess with my face or my tits, alright? They're my best features."

Sukuna leans back, eyes twinkling with mischief. "Can confirm. I'm extremely fond of them"

Geto nods solemnly. "Seriously, those are top-tier assets. We should put them in a museum."

Gojo nods solemnly as you laugh. "We'd have to hold a memorial service for the girls. It'd be tragic."

Toji finally looks up, his expression one of mock seriousness. "The worst crime you'd commit today would be damaging that rack."

Gojo grins wider. "We'd put ourselves in the line of fire to protect those honkers."

Sukuna gestures lazily towards you. "Hey babe," he says with a grin, "don't worry, I'll protect those masterpieces," nodding towards your chest. "Can't have this guy ruining what I get to enjoy every day."

Gojo nods sagely. "He's right, those are national treasures."

Toji nods in agreement. "Yeah, I'd cry real tears if something happened to those."

The man's face turns bright red, his hand shaking as he tries to regain control of the situation. "Shut up! Just give me the money!"

"Is it an innie?" Toji asks, feigning genuine curiosity. "You know, your... equipment?"

The robber's frustration grows as the room continues to be filled with laughter and teasing. He finally lowers the gun, looking completely defeated. "You guys are crazy," he mutters before turning and bolting out the door.

As soon as he's gone, the room erupts into even louder laughter. Sukuna sets down his tattoo machine and walks over to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. "Glad our national treasures are safe," he murmurs, planting a kiss on your temple and you snort.

Gojo is still chuckling, shaking his head. "That was priceless. Best robbery attempt ever."

Geto nods in agreement. "Yeah, we really should thank the guy for the entertainment."

Toji stretches, leaning back in his chair. "Who knew our biggest concern today would be protecting Y/N's tits?"

You grin, feeling the warmth of Sukuna's embrace. "Well, they're glad to still be here."

"We're all glad they're still here," Sukuna says with a grin. 

The next day, you come into the parlour with a new sign you’ve created. It's bright and colourful, with bold letters that read, “No Guns Allowed. Seriously, We'll Laugh In Your Face.” Gojo takes a marker from you and neatly writes 'We will protect the honkers with our own bodies' making you laugh as you hand the sign to Sukuna who takes it from you, chuckling as he hangs it in the window for everyone to see.

Sukuna steps back to admire your work, a proud smile on his face. “Looks great, babe.”

Gojo, standing next to him, nods in approval. “Perfect. Now we just need someone dumb enough to test it.”

Toji and Geto walk in, glancing at the sign and chuckling. “I give it a week,” Toji says.

“Three days, tops,” Geto counters.

You all laugh, knowing that no matter what happens, you’ve got each other’s backs—and that’s more than enough to handle anything life throws at you.

The rest of the day goes by without a hitch. As you sketch, chat with Gojo, and watch Sukuna work, you feel a deep sense of contentment. Life may be unpredictable, but with this group of misfits, it’s never boring.

The bell above the door jingles, signalling a new customer. You glance up. “Welcome to the madhouse,” you say with a grin. “How can we help you today?”

BUT THEN. then. i was on pinterest browsing character design inspiration and i found the infamous stained dark claw hand (if you know you know) and i realised it was my one chance to actually incorporate it into my silm designs... then i considered who would fit it and all i could think of was post-silmaril morgoth.... and here we are :((((

anyways ive been kinda busy these past two months BUT i used this chance to squeeze in some anatomy practice so errrrr dont ask me why he's shirtless in most of these..... i will only speak in the presence of my attorney........

10 days to go till finals. you are not holding up as well you would have liked. it's not as if you're not studying it's just.. the need to achieve near perfect status in each subject leads to anxiety which in turn leads to procrastination. shocker.

you sigh, pushing your chair away from the desk and stretch in an attempt to provide relief to your sore muscles - a result of being hunched over your notebook, doodling away mindlessly. you were supposed to have completed 4 chapters by now, but the 20 minute turned 3 hour break you spent watching random videos on your laptop very generously gave you a aching throb behind your eyes. hence the doodling, in an attempt to alleviate the pain.

..needless to say, it wasn't very successful. okay, you think, time for the last resort. you walk out of your room to the one adjacent to yours, and knock on its door lightly.

"'s open"

peeking your head in, your heart can't help but feel a little lighter at the sight of your roommate, sungchan, lounging on his bed with his back against the wall as he cutely frowns at some game on his phone, having already been through the hell that is finals about a week ago due to being in a different uni.

"i really don't know why you even borrow to knock anymore, not like i'd ever say no to you - even if you're just going to stand and stare at me~", being charming always comes naturally to him, unfortunately for you.

huffing a bit, trying to think of a witty reply, but that headache really just hates your entire existence huh? you wordlessly move to his bed. somehow sungchan understands what you're trying to do and complies with your wish without a single complaint because, in his own words, how could he ever say no to you?

pulling you closer to him, he lays your head on his thigh, draping a throw blanket over you with such gentleness that one could easily perceive the concern in his actions, maybe a bit too much considering you were just roommates.. because he refuses to address his feelings, preferring instead to hide behind flirty remarks - you've emphasized their friendship one too many times. he adjusts his crossed legs, phone long forgotten, as he tucks that one strand of hair that always falls on your face behind your ear.

you hear him mumble something about resting well. and then a feather soft, barely there brush of his lips against your forehead.

the slumber that follows after is heavenly, you swear you always sleep better around (or on) sungchan. not that you would ever breathe a single word of this to him. he's your roommate for god's sake - you'd rather suffer under the weight of unrequited feelings than to confess and damage the beautiful relation you've managed to form with the star athlete, who believes teasing you is a daily goal that he must fulfill.

on second thoughts, you're not sure how long you can keep your facade up...

Hello!

I'm going through an absolutely weird period of my life - after living in London for 10 years I came back to Brazil to spend some time home, which has caused me to immediately reverse back to my teenage years.

Revisiting tumblr has been a strange "hug your younger self" experience, because I've always had a very weird relationship with this blog. It started as a semi-secret outlet for my Harry Potter obsession, and I never really accepted that I could just lean into it because I was scared of people's judgment (I really tried to make it look like I wasn't). So that made me into a bit of an asshole, because I wanted to be a big nerd, but not that big of a nerd. Go figure. Sorry to everyone who was in the shit end of my teenage and young adult insecurities.

But I was also braver about both making and sharing my work, so I'll go back to doing that. There will be less Potter and more random pages of my sketchbook, doodles of other books I've been reading, other projects - but who knows, maybe occasionally some Potter again.

I follow back as theyikesfiles but you won't find anything revolutionary in there.

This is absolutely random, but it has not left my brain. But if P becomes some kind of boss for the players in future Neowiz and Round8 games, I emotionally would not be able to handle it LOL. I cannot imagine having to destroy a character we have bonded from the start of Lies of P.

Like, imagine walking to Hotel Krat, and your objective is to destroy fairytale characters, and all you see is P ready to defend his home, and his health bar appears as you two start to fight. I can't, bro.

I'll do a small doodle concept in the future for this, but guys 😭

I feel like P deserves to have 2 phases for his boss fight, mweheh.

I imagine P's fighting style to definitely match with Nameless Puppet, except he's slightly slower. He would be swift and his parry would be the bane of player's existence! Haha! His pulse cells would be annoying af, too. His main weapon would definitely be either the Puppet Saber or the rapier (I'm only going by the promotion stuff).

- His style would definitely be the Path of the Cricket. That would be the recommended path people would go to at the beginning of the game, and I can definitely see that as his canon path (also lore wise. But that's another discussion for another time).

- P's stun animation when he gets tired, I imagine he would spazz out and become stiff with electricity coming out. Probably pant depending on which ending players went with, but I'm hoping the boss would be the Rise of P ending. If so, he would sound incredibly exhausted and hurt.

- P's grab attack would be him using his legion arm, and depending on which arm he uses, he would have different animations for each. (I picture his main legion arms would be puppet strings, fulminis, and Aegis).

He would maybe just grab the player and throw them far, or slam them into the ground, or crush the player as much as he can for a few times and then throwing them lol.

- while using legion arms in normal combat:

His Puppet Strings would catch players if they're too far and maybe include his jumping attack (players would have brief animation window to dodge it maybe), his Fulminis would be for close combat and probably shock players, and Aegis for safe defense and counter attack.

I also thought of Flamberge as well, but idk.

spiderman!xiao who wished he told you sooner about his alter ego. The way you would gently tend his wounds made him flustered and shiver just from your touch.

he would often winced when you applied the ointment on his wounds, but he would never let out any noise wanting to be seen as a hero in your eyes.

spiderman!xiao who loves swinging both of you to a random rooftop to see the sunset or the starry sky, a smile tugged on his lips as he saw how amazed you were just by the view of the sky.

spiderman!xiao who hated how your dates would always be cut short because of some villian of the week disrupting the city's peace, he would often try and defeat the villian as fast as he could wanting to be in ur embrace soon.

on rare nights, he might miss the dates that both of you had planned. You understood it was due to his duties but your heart did sting though the next morning that sadness was replaced with surprised as you opened your doorstep to see a giant plush toy infront of you with the note 'from your friendly neighbourhood spiderman'.

spiderman!xiao who likes to doodle you inside his notebook while in school, of course he only does it when both of you don't share classes. His doodle was mostly him drawing how you looked last night or what you were wearing, he'll also try and sneak in his spidersuit colours inside as a small little touch.

hu tao found out he often went to an abandoned train station to spray paint and she found he actually spray painted many moments between you and him. (she was only there because she was ghost hunting.)

spiderman!xiao who likes to visit you at night, wanting to be in your embrace or perhaps to steal you away for the night to show you a new place he had found.

spiderman!xiao who spends more time at your house than his actual home, his excuse was that your window had a clearer view of the city so he could see the crime easily while protecting you. (he's a horrible liar.)

he'll also come to your home late at night, wanting to sleep in the comfort of your arms or use you as his personal pillow. When you wake up, you could either find your legs being tangled with xiao's or smell something delicious coming from your kitchen where you could find your boyfriend cooking breakfast for you.

spiderman!xiao who at first didn't want to swing with you in his arms, afraid of dropping you but please don't be afraid to tell him if he left bruises on your hips because of his grip... The last thing he wants is you injured especially if he is the one who caused you pain.

spiderman!xiao who gets flustered whenever you try on his suit, to him it made you even more attractive in his eyes.

one time, you accidentally used his web shooters to pin him to the wall... Instead of being angry, he was really flustered and found it rather hot of course he'll never tell you. He'll keep it a secret as long as he lives not wanting to be teased by it.

spiderman!xiao whos favourite memory was when both of you had a spiderman kiss (where he was upside down with his mask tugged above his mouth)

spiderman!xiao who says you're the reason why he is still spiderman, you're the one who keeps him going and you're the one who makes him see the brighter side of things.

Like with everything that comes to mind... No pun intended. The feeling of doing something is there, but the more I want to continue something, the more it becomes an afterthought. Or just left alone for something else. But I'm motivated. Surprisingly.

April's drawings and doodles!! Get ready! 🎉🌟

At first, I was gonna draw ARG tangled in some rope, but then the rope looked like a ribbon, so I made Gangle into a monster instead. Also, I drew two of the most underated cats from Warriors ever, especially Lionheart.

(I started this first but finished it second). Drawings of certain characters cause their birthdays this month, except for Colin his birthday is at the end of March. I just forgot to draw him. I just love how Cody, Popee, and Waluigi share the same birthday, tho. 🎉

I was writing a story with these six, inspired by The New Prophecy. But I haven't written it in some time. Idk if I'll ever continue it. I don't think I'll post it anywhere, either. Probably.

The next two drawings I started a month or so ago but didn't finish until this month.

Took quite a while to finish, but I'm glad I did. Idk where this takes place yet, but it is a scene from that crossover I keep thinking about but never really writing down.

Either takes place before or after the drawing above it, I don't really remember. What I do know, tho is that I drew these drawings because idk I just felt like Adam would have interesting interactions with some other characters.

I rushed this at the end. I did not want to leave it out. I want a clean slate next month. God damn it. I love crossovers, how bout you?

More about the Multifandom lore and other stuff below if you want:

Characters who die in canon that end up in the place (idk what to call it) keep being in the clothing that they died in. (Rip Ram and Kurt from Heathers: the Musical). (Spoilers warning if needed) So Adam is stuck with his robe he wore during the war with Charlie and the others from the hotel.

Also, about the 3rd drawing, like I said, it's an idea I had that, yes, takes place in the same crossover thing I think about. The colors in the background of each kiddo are involved in it, too.

The first two drawings are pretty much just some random doodles (idk what to do with the one with ARG and monster Gangle) while the other three kinda have stories to them that may or may not be written or animated on someday. (God, I hope that last sentence made sense).

Oh, and Bluey, Bingo and their cousins got to visit the Cul-De-Sac cause of a reason that's also in the multifandom/crossover I think about, I don't know if I should explain it or not. Meh.

BTW I've tried to match the original art styles of everything before, but this time, I've taken some steps forward. The hardest thing to figure out is the claynimated ones like Orel, Clay, and Claire. But I managed (for now, probably).

Edit: i went back and fixed it, I feel so much better about it now.

I even tried to have it seem like Bluey and others are slowly transitioning to the EEnE art style a bit.
