Important announcement

Hey guys, the inevitable happened and Harrington (the mun) is overwhelmed by Too Many Muses.

What does this mean?

The short version:

this means that I will no longer be playing Sark as a full muse. He will be archived like Kaiser (see: OC Masterlist), and RPs regarding him will either slow down immensely, or just come to a complete stop.

The long version:

Because of my five Muses and my two OCs, I have become quickly overwhelmed when it comes to responses, and, to be honest, unlike Sam and Dyson, my musing for Sark dwindled and died shortly after he became a muse.

So far, the name of this blog will remain sarkasticcommentary until I can think of something that fits Dyson and my OCs. It's kind of like a villain muse blog, I guess? Smiles isn't a villain, but I digress.

One of my main reasons for getting rid of Sark is the fact that his RPs feel more like a chore than anything, and a requirement to respond to before the ones I have for Sam or even Tron. It's starting to kill my motivation and leave me with some serious burnout.

Unfortunately, this means some storylines I'm seriously enjoying will need to come to an end, because I don't want to force myself to play a character that isn't fun for me anymore.

People who are in an RP with Sark, @spaceandthedigitalfrontier, @evecolourshock, @mayertis-not-a-user, I'm sorry. The threads we had were some of the coolest concepts and plots (because let's face it, Sark is an interesting character and deserves more love), but I'm going to focus on Dyson now.

This may change in the future, but that might not be for a very long time.

Bio: Mayertis (OC)

Timeline: Pre-original AU

Mayertis is a User digitized by MCP during a clandestine medical experiment. MCP wanted to have a loyal User inside the System so he caused a digitization failure so Mayertis has lost most of her human memories.

The girl needs rehabilitation and best control on her power so, with the MCP’s order, Commander Sark does his best to help the User.

Eventually Sark noticed Mayertis' sympathy for him, so he doesn’t see the girl as possible rival. So now the Program and User have a really warm and - most of all - mutual relationship.

On duty: the girl is Sark's assistant so she executes any order from him.

Abilities: This User can’t create and modify new objects, but she can operate with energy. In combat Mayertis usually uses - as she calls it - “bloody fire” (some kind of energy, burning the target alive) or her disc.

I sighed, and walked across the room like a trapped tiger. "Yes... I guess so. And I do feel an anomaly the new conscript is generating. Just like I do. But I don't understand why did he brought Flynn here!" - I rubbed my temples nervously, and looked into your eyes desperately. - "Sark, I know you'd never tolerate such offers even from me... But, please, let me derezz Flynn before it goes too much. Or to do it with the MCP. I promise, it will be safe for you."

A little story for @sarkasticcommentary

Mayertis watched Sark helps her to clean the room and wash some used cups. Not so much time ago ex-Commander had his rezz-day, so Mayertis haven’t sleep for two nights to make a gift for her beloved program - two wide silk ribbons covered by neat embroidery. These colorful ornaments on the blue ribbons were inspired by memories of a real - human - world. There were Slavic red birds, some purple and green grape bunches, and orange and yellow leaves with various shapes just like on the photos Sark have seen before. One - long - ribbon was crossing Sark’s chest. Another one - shorter - wrapped around Sark’s left upper arm. Ex-Commander was so touched by the first proper gift in his existence, so happy to have something from another world. And proud as no one another program had such things, except some new code lines. Mayertis wasn’t able to change Sark’s code as she had no programming skills at all. But she gave him so much more already... And literally invited a sinner to the Heaven. The couple had a modest home party as there was still no way to the clubs or other public places, except the Game Grid, for Sark. But at least at home it was so full of calm, affection and... music and slow dancing from the User’s world.

When the rezz-day party was over, Sark insisted Mayertis to have a rest after her hard handicraft. He could see her finger pads punctured by a metallic needle, and he almost felt her pain every time as she had to touch anything. But most of all Sark was worrying about dark circles under his User’s eyes. Lack of sleep caused much more pain, and Sark could see it despite Mayertis did all her best to hide the agony. - Now, have a shut down, - he said, leaning to his User for giving a hug for her. - I’ll come back soon, - Sark’s voice was powerful just like before MCP’s fall, but soft at the time. The girl nodded, but her attempts to fall into sleep were useless. She could take meds, but she didn’t want it - one thing you cure, another thing you mangle... So she had just to watch Sark and keep her eyes half-shut. Sark felt himself as the owner of this place and a proper family member, so he was free to make the room up as he wanted, and even decorate as much as he wanted to. During the living here, ex-Commander has added some of his paintings to the wall-collection. Sark’s paintings were so simple and naive, but so full of expression. The first ones were dark and dim, but newest one were much more bright and colorful.

A long time before, Tron have said he wants Sark to be punished. Mayertis wouldn’t hit Sark or snap at him ever, so his demand was so stupid to her. The only chance - is an evidence of an Ancient Egyptian proverb: “Who knows how to kill, he knows how to heal”. During the MCP’s charge time, Sark had to derezz thousands of programs, but now he was so caring. So there could be marked by Tron as a “punishment”, Mayertis hoped. She was about to die because of the mixture (her pain killer), it’s just a matter of time and suffer. She can just lost in the city if she would walk alone, but one day it will be so difficult to even recognize even known places and people around her. The girl was badly afraid of it, but she hoped Tron would admit that Sark redeemed himself by taking care of a User becoming more helpless every year despite her power.

Mayertis sobbed at the thought, and Sark noticed it at once. - Shall I make a mixture? - he asked, concerned. But the girl only shook her head, and pulled her blanket over her head. Sark took a moment to consider, and laid behind the girl, and pulled her into his arms gently. His circuits brightened and became hot to give the User warmth and relief. - Do you remember our first meet? - Sark asked softly, and smiled. - I’d never thought that someone could be so kind to me. And when you took me here, I thought I’ve died already and meet the afterlife, - he chuckled sadly at the memories. He closed his eyes, and tucked the girl in carefully. - Maybe you’ll forget my face one day, but I will keep all your memory copies. And never forget you...
