thinking about lucifer again and how much i hate the “sadist” image he has.

in the words of the lovely kazuya yamashita (lucifer’s va) in what is probably my favorite otaku fm episode: i believe lucifer thinks about his brothers constantly. honestly love how much kazuya seems to understand lucifer’s character pretty well.

and it doesn’t take that much digging to realize how much lucifer cares about his family. he signed away the freedom he just earned to save his sister. he kept it a secret from his brothers to save them the hurt - thinking it’d be better if that burden fell to him alone. he hid belphie away in the attic to prevent diavolo from finding out belphie wanted to destroy humanity - and face punishment that’s likely worse than death for it. lucifer relies on mammon the most, the one who he seems to be the strictest with. and honestly, i’d be strict too if the last time i rebelled against authority i lost my sister. lucifer is strict with them to protect them, to protect his family.

and i keep thinking about mammon who expressed to have no regrets following lucifer after the celestial war. about beel who sees it as his duty to follow and protect lucifer. about levi being introduced to anime and manga through lucifer.

it’s really no wonder that the way to lucifer’s heart is getting along with his family.

this is only the tip of the iceberg, and there’s so much more to say! but yeah, i think the sadist label is a huge mischaracterization.

I just wish I could spoil Lucifer every day of his life.

Give him flowers unexpectedly, offer massages to relieve his tension, leave love notes in unexpected places for him to find, collect the feathers that fell from his wings to preserve good memories, plan trips alone to enjoy each other's company. I think he would be so happy and feel appreciated.

the demo was fire. love the fact we can pick the name of the twin as well as the mc. can't wait to see the mc lose their mind due to their twin, at least thats what the prologue seems to hint at :3c on another note, would find J find it romantic if the mc told them "I love you so much I could eat you" but in a literal way.

J curses when they miss another note. they bury their hands in their hair, sighing in frustration. no matter what, they just could not get it right. could not get it to sound right. they balled up their fists and almost slammed the keys in frustration. before they could connect, however, a pair of gentle hands stop them.

despite the coldness of those hands, J immediately relaxes at the familiarity of them. they look up and to no surprise, find you leaning over the piano with a smile.

“easy, love,” your tone is soft with amusement. “don’t hurt yourself over this.”

your childhood friend chuckles, the sound proving to be the complete opposite of the irritation they were feeling earlier. you had your way of always cheering them up, no matter what.

“you’re one to talk,” they roll their eyes fondly but don’t let go of your hand. “this is the new song i was telling you about.”

you raise an eyebrow, smile widening. “the one you wrote for me?”

their face immediately flushes red. trying their best to keep the reaction out of view, J pulls away from you. they make sure to keep their gaze down while spreading their fingers over the keys.

“are you just going to tease me, or actually let me focus?”

you knew they were bluffing, but you couldn’t help it. the way they reacted to everything you do was just so addicting.

you put your finger under their chin, forcing them to look at you. “aren’t you a delicious little thing.”

J’s eyes widen, pulse hammering like a wild horse running amok. the tone of your voice was enough to get them to completely melt in your hold. their breath hitch as you lean closer, teeth grazing over their neck. what you say next has them shivering in equal parts arousal and desperation.

“i love you so much, darling. to the point that i could devour you.”
