OOOH... i kind of didnt believe you guys when you were like 'mcd has so many plot holes' because i didnt remember them (read: i didnt have a frontal lobe) but like.... the plot holes man.

like exhibit a of what im currently up to: how the hell does garroth stay alive for the span of MULTIPLE EPISODES (tended to a doctor or not- the doctor cant fully heal him, its the whole plot point for aph in brightport) but brenden needed the herbs RIGHT AWAY or else he would literally die.

please.... someone help me..... the series i liked as a kid has obvious flaws....

Pooling my knowledge of various series (and some minor amounts of research) I have put together this chart of various wizards and witches across the mc sphere

Feel free to add anymore that I’ve missed!! As I’m sure I’ve missed many and the ratio of witches to wizards needs some bolstering

Interesting things to note:

Scar wizard count: 2

Shelby witch count: 3

Gem has been both a wizard and a witch

Scott and Joey have also been a witch twice

Etho only has the witch hat in scar’s pov I’m fairly sure? But ll!Scar goes down shouting kill the witch

hmmgh thinking about laurance but his shadow knight powers connect him to the environment. And he HATES it.

He wants to pretend that he's not changed, that he can go back to a normal life- But he can hear the tremble of the earth as the memories of old gods vibrate through it; he can sense the withering of plants, the decay of corpses in his vicinity.

The feeling he hates the most is the burning, vicious hatred in the back of his consciousness. It's not his - it's old and faded, like the imprints of letters in a worn book. Sometimes, he can't even tell it's there. But he's quickly reminded when he gazes at Irene Aphmau, and it flares with intensity, like an old wound that never healed.

Zenix being part of the Shadow Knights in Mystreet is so frustratingly missing his entire character in Minecraft Diaries. I know everyone is out of character in Mystreet, but all of the relationships we see (at least somewhat) reflect the ones present in MCD, EXCEPT Zenix's. Zenix has NO ties to Garroth and he's friends with Gene!! The most accurate relationship is his with Laurance (Laurance just seeing him as another bad shadow knight), which is barely present. It's so obvious that Aphmau forgot who Zenix was when she added him to the Mystreet (or pdh) cast.

i think aphmau roleplays that are in the 10 episode range really beat out the long seasons other series have. Heart Point, Phoenix Drop Days, VOID Paradox, id say even MyS s4 and s6, flow a lot better and feel more satisfying to me

they dont play around that much. if MID was shorter, if Estorra was shorter... id love them more

FCU, some mystreet seasons, mcd s3, and estorra all suffer so much from the long ass runtimes and probably why estorra and mcd s3 were cancelled. unsustainable story telling thru the mcrp/mctv medium

(not counting mermaid tales, a royal tale, and ultra nova cuz i havent finished those yet. i like mcd s1 and s2 a lot since theyre more like lets-plays so idk if they count)
