Ayrton Senna at Imola in 1988, testing the McLaren MP4/4B, a modified car used as a test mule for Honda's new 3.5-litre V10 non-turbo engine.

McLaren insiders say, that this MP4/4 chassis fitted with the normally aspirated Honda V10 engine, was even quicker than its successor, the McLaren MP4/5.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the triple world champion's death at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. Senna the Champion, Senna the Boss, Senna the Legend.

@.mfranchitti It was so cool to see @.sebastianvettel in his MP4/8, my favourite F1 car ever @fosgoodwood. He uses Senna’s original seat, pedals, steering wheel spacer (see the etched “AS” pic 3)… Love it!
