i think usually daves rhe type to just chuckle or generally laugh in a way thats not too sincere, but as he grows more comfortable in himself and not constantly being ironic hed start to just let himself laugh whenever however… and hed probably be like guffawing cackling etc at the randomest of things 💗 and (partly bc i laugh at practically everything) his laughters very contagious so i end up laughing as well :-)

goes autism mode. I LOVE HS SM… truly everything about it meanjs so much to me. i love the pesterlog mechanic and getting to see characters just talking especially online it feels like such a genuine representation of the characters and also real life on the internet!!! and the lore is so complex but it all fits together which i adore bc i just love when theres a complicated back and forth storyline its so fun to think about hehe

act 6 dave makes me go crazyinsane in a good way its so nice & interesting to see him opening up and also looking back on his past and realising what hes been through… makes me wanna give him a hug or something . also little things like his interest in palaeontology coming up and him being a little more open about it ‼️ it makes me smile. (im thinking specifically of when hes talking with dirk about his post-scratch self asking if he happened to have been into palaeontology)

joel is so mean to her 😭😭 after the fucked in the closet i felt so bad for her thinking that jesse was gonna run off n tell everyone :( id feel so used afterwards too omg. lol did joke get jealous at the end when he spotted her talking to jesse lol, SERVES HIM RIGHT. Jesse is also so sweet 🥺 i loved seeing her with her band mates too bc i was wondering about them actually lol. Props to them for being able to play on the spot like that too lol.

he is a meanje but he doesn’t know how to express himself in a healthy way unfortunately!!! maybe he did get a lil jealous maybe he didn’t 👀 we love jesse friendship and im happy to hear that you liked her interactions with her band mates!! i felt like i couldn’t just keep saying “your band” “the guys” i felt like they deserved to have names and personalities :) i had fun imagining their dynamic together and how they’d be kind of like brothers to her.

Yang: *crying* Daddy!!!!

Tai: Aww, sweetie, what’s the matter?

Yang: *sniffling* I was... making some hats in Arts and Crafts and... *sniff* SOME MEANJE PUT STICKY TAPE IN MY PIGTAILS!!!!WAHHHHH!!!!!

All over Yang’s hair were bits and pieces of tape, some of them hanging by strands of stray hair.

Tai: *sigh* Yeah, that looks quite bad. Did you try to take them out yourself?

Yang: *nods head* But it hurt!

Tai: Well, it looks like I’m gonna have to cut your hair.

Yang: *crying* WHAT?! B-BUT I LOVE MY P-PIGTAILS!!!

Tai: I know, sweetie. But it’ll get worse if we leave them there. Sorry, but they’re gonna have to go.

Yang: *crying*

Tai: *places hand on her shoulder* I promise, your hair is gonna be fine.

Yang: *sniffing* W-Well okay.

[The Next Day]

Tai: Okay girls, now put on a brave face for me today!

Ruby: *smiles* I will, daddy!

Yang: *looks down* O-Okay.

Tai: *smiles* Have a good day! *hugs them both and leaves*

Yang sullenly walked over to the play area. Her pretty pigtails were all gone. Her dad tried his best, but she didn’t like her new haircut, even going as so far to wear her mom’s hat. Everything got worse when she heard the sound of Priscilla, the one who put tape in her hair.

Priscilla: Hey Stickyhair!

Yang: Gah!!!!

Priscilla: What’s with the hat?

Yang: I-I just like it, okay?

Priscilla: Give it here. *yanks her hat off her head*

Yang: NO!!!

Priscilla’s lips twisted into a sinister smile when she looked at Yang’s hair. It was short, like a boy’s hair. She laughed so loud that the entire playground heard her.

Priscilla: Hahahahaha!!! This is even worse than sticky tape! You look like a short haired freak!Hey everyone, Yang’s a short haired freak!

The other schoolchildren laughed along with Priscilla, echoing her taunt of “short haired freak”. Tears started to form in Yang’s eyes and she tried hide her hair from the rest of the world.

Yang: *crying* Stop it!!! Stop!!!

Priscilla/Schoolchildren: Short haired freak! Short haired freak! Short haired freak!

Suddenly, the sounds of caws and wings flapping cracked the air. Yang opened her eyes to find Priscilla and the others frozen with fear. Behind her stood a man dressed in black, with unkempt black hair, surrounded by crows, all staring fiercely at the bullies. Yang glanced at the figure with awe and joy. It was none other than her uncle Qrow.

Qrow: Listen here, punks. If any of you ever try to hurt Yang again, I’ll send my legion of crows to haunt you in your sleep!

In a fit of panic, the the bullies ran for their lives, screaming across the playground. Priscilla ran over to a tree and slipped in mud. On top of her head sat a crow, causing her to scream with terror and flee inside the school.

Qrow: *snorts* Little monsters. I think you’ll be fine now, Yang. *smiles*

Yang: Thanks so much, Uncle Qrow!!!! *hugs his leg*

Qrow: No problem, Firecracker. *ruffles her hair* If you’re ever in trouble, I’ll be there for you.

Yang: You’re the best!! *smiles widely*
