How to practice yoga or meditation on a regular basis?
1) Set small goals: Firstly set a small and time-based goal for yourself, pen it down and then put it somewhere you’ll see it as a reminder. To develop any habit consistency is much more important than performance. That’s why it is important to pick a target you could hit daily without fail. You can gradually increase your yoga and meditation practice once the habit is formed.
2) Make it a priority: The second step is you actually have to make time for it from your daily schedule. Prioritize your practice and then set a specific time for it. If sometimes you can’t practice at the scheduled time, in that case, you can practice at any other time.
3) Pick your zone: It is not that important where you do your practice but the space you pick should be quiet and fewer distractions.
4) Keep the mat in your eyesight: to keep your practice consistent, it is very important to keep your mat rolled out. As it’ll give you a gentle reminder that it's always there and motivates you to show up on it.

Why am I unable to meditate?
There are all sorts of reasons that you and other people find it difficult to meditate. Here I am discussing some of the common reasons why are you struggling with meditation.
1.     Know your goal: First, know why you are meditating? It is very important to be clear about your desired outcome in meditation- your goal. If you are not clear then you will not get most out of your meditation. Pen down your reasons for meditating and then work on how you want to achieve them. You’ll be amazed at how much clarity this can bring to your practice.
2.     Set a routine: To set a routine is one of the most important in starting your meditation journey. You can be more consistent if you have a definite time and place for meditation.  It becomes easy to connect if you have a specific time and a certain place. Maybe you say you are busy. But if want to yield benefits, you need to set a time and place.
3.     Practice in a group: Meditation is easier to be practiced in a group. You can also share your experience with the other practitioners which will inspire each one of you. Meditating with others can accelerate your practice and expand the state of awareness in you.
4.     Get inspired to meditate: We need the inspiration to grow in this path. If you are not inspired, you are not going to give your one hundred percent to your practice. Choose among many ways to fuel your meditation fire. Read spiritual books, listen to audios or watch videos on different meditation. And ultimately with time, your self-practice becomes your inspiration.
5.     Choose a specific technique: Try different practices and then choose the one that works best for you. And then stick with it for a while. It’s really important to make a commitment to one single technique.
