shiller16: Just over a decade later and my "Darren Criss made fun of the way I say crayon" story has a part two 🖍️ . Two Jews celebrated a very merry Crissmas in DC with DC last night. Watching @ darrencriss perform live, whether on Broadway, in concert playing his original songs and Disney covers, or giving a not-at-all-shitty TED Talk interspersed with Crissmas songs is always a magical and totally awesome experience. It has been incredible watching his career from musical boy-wizard to today, and waiting in the cold to meet him at the stage door was 1000% worth it. I am so grateful that the handful of celebrity favorites of mine who I have been lucky enough to meet have all proven to be so kind, thoughtful, and generous with their time, and Darren was all of that and more. Cannot wait to see what's next for this wonderful and talented human. .

3 years ago tonight I met @stevevaihimself at @cuttingroomnyc when he did @backstoryevents with @bradtolinski. We had a nice chat about me playing @smithcatmrs and I told him I'd see him at his masterclass at @themusiczoo two days later. Unfortunately, I didn't get to attend as that was the day my father passed away. But it was lovely chatting with Steve and I look forward to doing it again one day. @vincent_castiglia is an artist famous for creating masterpieces using his own blood. I saw his work on the tv show Oddities many years ago and have been a huge fan ever since. So being invited to a private showing of his work along with his epic collection of Giger art was an incredible honor. Seeing these breathtaking paintings and other artworks in person was mind-awakening and cathartic. Thank you so much Vincent. I am forever inspired by this experience. 1.
