5/21/24 Tune #1

A nice, light and romantic jam to start things off, Mega Mango is a more recently formed band that took a hiatus when the pandemic hit but came back strong with Boggle. Self-described as Phruitcore and based in Philly, this song has a sound to me much like surf rock, while overall the band has a good alternative and bedroom rock feel.

With a lovely distortion on the vocals, a fluctuating guitar, and steady drums, this is a fun one to nod your head along to.

Thinking of ParaCold in relation to the song “Boggle”, by Mega Mango? Paranoid wants to make Cold feel something, wants to be the one who makes him surprised and in awe and feel loved, and Paranoid tells themself that it’s just to get a reaction, but their in denial, because really they try because they love him so much and want him to experience like they do and to feel good while doing it.

(I also hadn't heard any of Mega Mango's songs before, and oh wow. Undone also really works for ParaCold while still stuck in the Construct tbh???? And Blurt could really be any Paranoid ship song... Like it works so well...

Also is it just me or is Risk just 100% a Paranoid song in general?)
