Waited to make a post for when I had both the Jailbirds Keychain and the Romeo shaker, these things are stinkin' cute! The charms and stickers are both made by @bermudastriangulartrinkets, and you can find their Etsy listed in their pinned! You can get charms, or just stickers by themself if that interests anybody The charms all came with stickers of the same design, as well as a little box of valentine's themed Minecraft stickers! Not sure if the Pokemon cards are normally present or not but I'm thrilled to add these to my collection >:3c There's also a small thank-you slip with a discount code on the back for future purchases!

Random things I'm braking my mind over that probably no one else does:

Where did Meggie and Mo originally live?

Now, Elinor lives at one of the "north italian sees/lakes". (Insubric Lakes per google. Apparently also glacial lakes.) Those are all pretty close to the italian border to switzerland. (One of them being partially in switzerland.)

The thing is that Mo and Meggie live north of Elinor, since they had to drive a few hours to the south to get to here. Meaning they must have come from one of the german speaking countries: Switzerland, austria or germany. (If germany, most likely bavaria or Baden-Württemberg. I don't know much about the switzer cantons or how the regions in austria work.)

It's also never really mentioned what language they speak, if german or Italian. Even living in Italy, it would be likely for Eleanor to speak german since she's living close to switzerland/austria. (Also she's a nerd and probably knows a few languages to read books in their og language.) In case of the inkworld og characters, I'd say they probably speak the language depending on how the book is translated/from which version they're being read from etc.... (Yknow, since Farid can also talk with everyone no problem.) Then again, Fenoglio is an italian name, the town he lives in is in italy. There's lot of italian scenery. (The movie got its issues, but not sets and costumes and so.) The original script he pulls out would logically be in Italian. He would logically speak italian in in-universe logic. But then again, a lot of people living in switzerland/austria close to the italian border speak Italian. And it wouldn't be off for Meggie and Mo to speak at least two languages either. A book lover as Mortimer surely would know at least the basics in some other languages.

So, most likely, Mo and Meggie probably lived in some small town in Switzerland. There's a lot of more rural towns their, like Meggie described her hometown. With their house also technically being from a former farm.

Now. Capricorns headquarter is south of where Elinor lives and not so far. But he is also said to have some some hideouts in the north. More specifically north of where Meggie and Mo originally lived. This would mean that Capricorn probably had some randome castle ruins or similar occupied in Bavaria of all places. Lmfao.

As I said, thinking way to much about the most random details.

Have you ever read a book that made you feel so much stuff in so little time that you end up writing the author? Well, that was me a year ago when I finished reading the third and last book of the Ink Heart saga, and I was so disappointed and heartbroken that (SPOILERS) Meggie and Farid didn't end up together that I SENT A DM TO THE AUTHOR and worst part is she ANSWERED BACK

She saw my distress and not only she didn't address it, she ONLY replied to the last part of my text 🤣

I mean, WHAT AN ICON, she was like: I'm not going to get into the whole Farid and Meggie but I'll appreciate that you enjoyed my books.
