whenever i've imagined the upcoming bucktommy kiss (which is a lot) where buck initiates the kiss at the wedding once tommy saves chim, i imagine buck runs up to tommy and immediately kisses him in front of everyone. which is great and all, but now i think it'd be great if it starts with a simple hug first. like there's a slowmo scene of tommy getting off the plane, looking around for someone he knows, and then buck yells his name and sprints over, we hear tommy let out a soft "evan" before he's stumbling at the force of buck's body colliding with his as he hugs him so tightly. and as buck holds him, there's a few reaction shots. bobby has a slightly raised eyebrow, wondering when they got so close, athena looks a lil confused but happy nonetheless, hen and karen share a look, maybe we see buck's parents share one too (but less knowing/sweet and more worried), and eddie smiles a lil. let's out a sigh of relief because tommy is his friend too and he's glad he's safe. and THEN buck kisses tommy. and oh my god we get to see everyone's face switch immediately. the shock and the confusion and the pride. oh it'd just be so beautiful.

OUGH BAGHERA IS SO SWEET TO EMPANADA

She's reassuring Em that Jaiden will accept and love her no matter what, despite having Bobby before. Because love is infinite and it doesn't split up. There will always be love for Bobby, and now there is love for Empanada 🥹🩷🩷

She is also saying that even though she just met her, Baghera already loves Em so much!

(Hen, Chimney and Ravi all rush into Cap's office while he's at his desk, and shut the door) Bobby:...Problem? Chimney: So, we originally thought the whole 'Eddie being jealous of Buck and Tommy'-thing was gonna be funny. Hen: And adorable. Ravi: And it was! Hen: For a while. Bobby: But now... Chimney: - But now it's TERRIFYING, Cap! We're afraid for our lives! Ravi: I made it through juvenile leukemia, Cap. But I don't think I can survive this one. Chimney(goes to hold Ravi):...Think of the young one, Cap! Please, HE'S JUST A BOY! Bobby(sighs):...Alright, go tell Eddie to come in here. Hen:...Do we have to be in here when he's in here? Bobby: No, you do not. (relieved, the other three all rush out of the office)

So I just watched 9-1-1 1x01 again, and...

This is Bobby and Athena the first time they're seen together on screen.

Athena is pissed because Buck refuses to let a kid on the same ambulance as her newborn because she threw him down the toilet. And Bobby is upset because he sent Buck ahead so he could get the newborn to the ambulance quicker and he comes down and finds out they're still there. So basically, the first time we see them, Athena is trying to save someone and Bobby is worried because that baby needs a hospital and the ambulance is just sitting there.

So he takes it into his own hands. He ignores Athena and Buck screaming at each other and just picks the girl up and carries her into the ambulance.

And then this happens:

FIRST TIME we see them on screen. Literally the first time they partake on the same scene. And don't forget, tensions are running high. Like, up until this point? They've only heard each other shout. Not a each other, but still.

Like, it's such a tiny detail, not many people are going to pick up on it, but I find it so cool and endearing. Here you have a character that we know it's closed off to people and who probably has something heavy in his past being supported by a character who (by what we've seen up to now) is assertive and empowering.

I'm not going to say foreshadowing or anything, because anything is possible. But what an acting choice. Kudos to Angela Bassett.

SO. i was able to figure out the general structure of the script JLH leaked.

in order for all this to make sense, the first thing you need to know is that in north america all screenplays (scripts) are written in the same format

knowing this, we can deduce the general structure of the scene and even the length of some of the words

first we need to address the big question everyone's been asking:

are they talking about Bobby or Eddie?

screenplays are always typed in courier font, and in courier the capital letters B and E are identical at their left sides.

so while i enjoy people trying to figure out if the blurry letter in line 24 is a B or an E, the answer is it could honestly be either

where we really need to look is line one. the screengrab is blurry so i've outlined the word "going" and circled the area we should pay attention to

at first, the last letter of the prior word looks like an undistinguishable blob, but there is actually one key thing we can discern from it: the letter can't be y, it doesn't hang low enough

there is a chance that the word is not a name and is "he" which would not rule out Bobby or Eddie. however, that would mean the conversation goes on for at least 14 lines without mentioning "him" by name which is (heavily) frowned against in screenwriting. so chances are they're talking about Eddie

also, with what we know about the characters it's most likely Eddie. can you really see Bobby not talking to Buck because of... well, anything? and we already know that Eddie has a difficult time communicating. so i've decided to go with him for this script but haven't 100 per cent ruled Bobby out

moving on to the actual script itself, anything not highlighted in red is something i'm confident is either the exact wording or something similar. the red sections are the parts that i'm less confident in or know are incorrect somehow

Maddie's first dialogue block is the part i had the most trouble with. with context from the following conversation i figured that she probably asked something along the lines of when [Eddie] will be back at work. the main issue with this section is that the top line is actually six letters shorter than what i have written. this also means that the word that follows "going" has to be at least eight letters long. i tried messing around with the dialogue a bit but couldn't come up with something that would fit the appropriate letter count so for now i just wrote a line similar to what i think the actual line probably is

line six has to be either 12 or 13 spaces long and the first word has to be at least four letters long so i used "really soon" as a place holder, but i'm not completely confident in it

for line eight i initially had "Oh, that's good." but the line was one space short so i changed the "Oh" to "Hey" instead. i don't feel too poorly about this one but it still doesn't feel right to me. if the actual script says "Hey" i wouldn't be surprised if JLH changes it to something else or forgoes the exclamation completely

the final line is just a rough guess of what it could be. i'm not sure how formal the 911 writers are with action lines so i just took a random guess. some writers are extremely formal with action lines while others are more comedic with it (Neil Gaiman is a great example of this). i'm guessing the 911 writers are more the former but i honestly have no clue

Thinking about step 9 and the whole concept of forgiveness of one’s self and others and it bringing healing and how bobby and Eddie have been paralleled a fair amount and the idea that Eddie started this process back at the end of s5 with his forgiveness and acceptance of his father but how he hasn’t yet gone anywhere near his mother and their relationship .

How his catholic guilt storyline seems more likely to play on his reltionship with his mother than his father (if his father wasn’t around that much it would’ve been Helena taking him to church etc each week) so the idea of an Eddie - Helena storyline that plays on catholic guilt and potentially his queerness in relation to that has me chewing on glass - it could be so epically good

The reason qRoier is so adamant and insistent on the eggs being dead is because of how adamant and insistent he was that Bobby would live; he was so sure and not for a second did he entertain the idea, and when that ended in a goodbye it shifted his outlook and this is such a blatant showcasing of that!!! He doesn't want to get his hopes up because he knows how much it hurts to have them crushed and he cannot take that again

like. this was around the time the eggs got told they would die in a week. Bobby had lost so many siblings at the time and resented qslime for it.....and despite that he forgave him because he knew he didn't have that long to live (at the time) He just wanted to move on, and gegg told him he was sorry. i think bobby always knew gegg was slime but still. AGH.

“It wasn’t the same purpose that she was passionate about but since she loved Avasarala so much, she was happy to stick around.  I love that scene where Avasarala says, “You’re not really happy here,” because it’s reflective of how well she knows her and how much Bobbie loves Avasarala because she’s doing something she’s not really enjoying. I think it’s so lovely that Avasarala tells Bobbie she’s going on the Roci and you can see me in that scene basically go “That’d be great” [laughs] I think it just shows how much they love each other.”
