let's make that one more demon slayer haha - platonic ler rengoku and lee sanemi with 🧡 bestie: "now about that crush of yours..."
Ooo, Rengoku and Sanemi! I don't write for these two as a pair enough! I've gotcha covered, anon! :D (And a chance to throw in Sanegiyuu- AHH!)
Bestie: "Now, about that crush of yours..."
“Now.” Rengoku turned to Sanemi, something knowing entering his trademark smile. “About that crush of yours…”
The Wind Hashira froze, face flushing an impressive shade of red as he slowly turned his eyes on the other. “My WHAT?”
“That crush of yours! Don’t tell me you’re unaware of your own feelings, Shinazugawa.” He spoke as if he were stating a simple fact, sipping his tea while Sanemi stammered. “Tasty! Anyway- Tomioka.”
“What about him?” Sanemi said all too quickly, wincing. “Are you saying I have a crush on Tomioka?”
“Yes.” Rengoku nodded.
“What? What- what- no. No way.” Sanemi laughed, turning his still red face back towards the scenery. “How would you-”
“I’ve been around Kanroji for as long as I can remember.” Rengoku spoke wisely. “And she’s been in love with Iguro since they’ve met. Whenever I bring him up, she gets all red and can barely speak a word.” His eyes cut to the other, making Sanemi choke. “Funny enough, just like you right now.”
“I’m not-” Sanemi began, then he stopped. Clearing his throat, he ran a hand through his hair, searching for the words. “O-Okay…maybe I do…like Tomioka. What about it?”
“Oh? And here I thought I’d have to force it out of you.” Rengoku sounded a touch surprised. “Well- there goes half my plan.”
“I have a bad feeling I already know what the rest of it is.” Sanemi let out a tired sigh. “Go for it. It’s not like I can outrun you right now anyway.”
“You’re too kind, Shinazugawa!” Rengoku laughed, wasting no time as he grabbed Sanemi’s leg, squeezing gently as he watched the other crumble. “I’ll honor your request by lifting that spirit of yours!”
“Iihihihihi’m nohohohohoot dehehehheprrehehhehehehssed!” Sanemi grunted out through his growing giggles, grabbing at Rengoku’s wrist with one hand while trying to block the other, jumping when it relentlessly jabbed at his hip. “I juhhuuhust doohohon’t feheheheheel lihiihihke ruhuuhuuhnning!”
“Good- then I hope you feel up to talking!” Rengoku squeezed up his side, earning a rather sweet sounding squeak. “I’m a pretty good judge of character, you know.”
“Yohohoohohu dohoohohhon’t sahhahahahy?”
“I am! And I’m fairly observant.” Rengoku pulled his hands back, watching Sanemi double over with a gasp. “So I can say this with confidence that if you were to confess to Tomioka, he’d feel the same.”
The white haired man froze, eyes widening as he took in what Rengoku said. Something hopeful touched his eyes before he glared, sharpening his gaze. “You’re not fucking with me? This better not be a joke.”
“I don’t find humor in hurting my friends, Shinazugawa.”
“Right…I know you don’t.” Sanemi sighed, holding up a hand in apology. “Just…you mean it? You really think he likes me back?”
“I do.” Rengoku nodded. “How the event turns out, that’s for you to discover, but I’m pretty sure he feels the same way. At least, that’s the impression I got when I asked him myself.”
“Rengoku the matchmaker. No wonder Tengen’s got so many wives.” Sanemi laughed, his chest releasing as he stood. “Well, no time other than the present. Thanks, Ren…Kyojuro.”
“Of course, Sanemi.”

I love it when I see a fanfic where the author clearly states and MAKES sure the readers know that sanemi is colourblind JUST so they can then, in turn, point out the colour of giyuu's eyes. It's like we know they're blue, but to sanemi, they have to be mesmerising for the type of descriptions authors write for giyuu's eyes

Reapers and Guardian Angels AU ft. Sanegiyuu, Sabigiyuu and others
(Warning: Brutality, Murder, Suicide mention, Bullying, please proceed at your own risk please.)
Reapers are souls of the humans who have passed away but have committed a grave crime (a tricky definition) during their life time when they were alive, and they have to "atone" for their sins by reaping other souls and delivering them to either heaven or hell. Their memories as a human are erased for convenience. (Leader: Muzan)
Guardian angels are souls of the humans who have passed away saving people (also a tricky definition) and thus their lives were cut short i.e. untimely death. They retain their memories of their past lives in order to be more empathetic and kind. (Leader: Ubuyashiki)
Reapers and Guardian angels ("guardians") don't get along well for the reason that reapers think that guardians disrupt the natural order of things by dying earlier than their scheduled deaths. Guardians often don't like it when they weren't allowed to save their humans anymore because of reapers saying "it's time for them to go. Don't interfere."
Sanemi is an exceptional reaper who has been reaping souls for more than three hundred years. He does his task fast, with no unnecessary attachments, and often leads souls to where they belong without blinking an eye or feeling sorry for them when the humans think their deaths were "untimely". He however offers VERY rare comfort to the souls of confused good kids, as well as loving mothers who are worried for the children they will leave behind. Though he tries to control his emotions, he doesn't really like reaping souls of abusive fathers. The specific reason for that, even Sanemi didn't know. Three hundred years of reaping hasn't made him completely numb, as opposed to his other colleagues who seem to has complete zero damn about the souls they reap. He's close with Obanai, Rengoku and Tengen, though, they aren't assholes. Rengoku has been around for two hundred years while Tengen for one hundred years. Obanai has been around for Two Hundred and Fifty years. Sanemi hates Kokushibou and Douma, who are the top reapers.
Sabito is one of the newest Guardians. He passed away only ten years ago, and was given the chance to look after his best friend, whom he had sacrificed his life for as a human. Sabito requested to be Giyuu's guardian which took a lot of convincing from their leader. He has the privilege and at the same time, the curse of seeing Giyuu again while seeing him continuously blame himself for his death. Sabito is close with Makomo and Mitsuri, who are his seniors. Makomo has been a guardian of lost children for three hundred years, and Mitsuri has been a guardian for girls who had suffered from heartaches. She has been around for Two Hundred Fifty years as well.
Giyuu Tomioka is a lone office worker who lives alone and has no friends, aside from Shinobu, who occasionally gives him her time, though by teasing him but nevertheless she is obviously worried for him. She often visits him to check on him.
Giyuu has been living while being depressed for losing his parents, his sister in a gruesome and brutal burglary gone wrong and murder. He was found by a kind old man and his grandson Sabito. Being around the same age, Giyuu and Sabito bonded and eventually made dreams together. Giyuu was incredibly happy again.
Until he wasn't. Giyuu was being bullied in the school where he went with Sabito. That fateful night that the bullies planned to go too far and beat him up, Sabito came to the rescue and was the one stabbed in the chest multiple times. After that, the bullies left. He had also lost Sabito.
The one who was supposed to die was Giyuu, but Sabito took his place. Because of that, Sabito became a soul and later on the assigned Guardian for Giyuu.
Anyway, Giyuu is an anomaly and no matter what he did to end his life, he wouldn't die because no reapers want to mess with him for evading death multiple times.
Until Sanemi was assigned to reap him.
Suffice to say, Sanemi and Sabito don't get along well.
Sanemi tells Sabito to fuck off, but Sabito for the first time, also held his ground and would mess up Sanemi's attempts to reap Giyuu.
Sanemi was starting to get pissed off as well, until he got to know why Sabito was desperate to save Giyuu and why Giyuu is as he is.
He began to wonder more about Giyuu, and became curious of him.
Perhaps staying longer than he planned and delaying the date, Sanemi gained the rare permission to become a soul with a temporary physical body and he interacted with Giyuu as a new neighbor.
Needless to say, they bonded as well and little by little, the light in Giyuu's eyes returns.
Sabito began to question his own efforts to separate the two as he sees Giyuu is finally himself again;
And Sanemi is conflicted to reap Giyuu, especially when an ultimatum was given by his boss. Otherwise, other top reapers will reap Giyuu if he doesn't.
And they weren't exactly gentle or kind.
Cue Sabito and Sanemi fighting for Giyuu, and unintentionally dragging their friends for this one simple man.
Sanemi didn't know why he became so easily attached to Giyuu, until he remembers his past, his human life.
And he is shocked to have seen a glimpse of Giyuu in his memory, yet it was set in a scenery from too long ago; and he couldn't understand the intense and unbearable pain in his heart at the thought of losing Giyuu again.
Flashback of how they met as children more than three hundred years ago. Sanemi came from an abusive home where his father always beats his mother and siblings up. While Giyuu had a brother who also left him due to a plague that hit their village years prior.
Soon enough, as they got to know each other as the years went by, Sanemi and Giyuu became lovers, in a small village far too invested in the thought of a deity. Yet Giyuu was accused of being a "monster" just because he held "a flower that wilted upon his touch". It has no basis whatsoever but the villagers who were too engrossed in superstitions aimed to kill Giyuu. Sanemi found out that they had killed his mother and siblings as well.
Devastated, to add salt to the injury, his father became insane and instigated the hunt for Giyuu, who they believe is the reason for all the misfortunes in their lives. Sanemi protected Giyuu by killing all of those villagers, yet during the onslaught, Sanemi succumbed to his injuries on Giyuu's arms as the latter cries in anguish and pain.
Sanemi was sentenced to be a reaper for an indefinite amount of time to atone for his sins.
(Also tengen unwillingly killed his siblings due to crazy death match by his father and was sentenced to be a reaper after he died)
(Rengoku protected his family dojo from ransacking of the rival dojo and ended up killing their leader, thus was sentenced to be a reaper as well)
(Obanai backstory as well with his cray family being one of those crazy fanatics as well except he met Mitsuri. They bonded and fell in love. When Obanai was about to be killed by his own family, Mitsuri took the blow for him and died in his arms. Suffice to say he killed them in rage as well)
So as you can see, the qualifications to be an unwilling reaper is so hazy, with morality being disregarded and the reason for killing not justified. They were all stuck to this life with no escape. Even sadder they don't remember a thing.
Anyway, you can see how Mitsuri became a guardian for saving Obanai. Makomo saved her grandfather from death as well.
This story is aimed to mirror human cruelty and brutality throughout the years smh and how there will always be shitty people no matter.
Anyway back to the story, Tengen, Obanai, Sanemi, Rengoku, Mitsuri (SHE REMEMBERS OBANAI BUT BUT...) Makomo and Sabito fights Kokushibou and Douma for Giyuu.
Anyway that's all for now ahahaha.

hihihihhi, could u do leegenya and lersanemi? i would die a happy person, thanks you!!!
Sanemi always loves to destroy his little brother, so yeah, I don't see why not!
Tumblr media
Lee: Genya Shinazugawa
Ler: Sanemi Shinazugawa
'Remind me what the hell it was like for me to agree to be here'
'Come on Nemi, it won't be so bad! We're just Rengoku, Kocho, you and me', well, a little context.
Mitsuri proposed to everyone to have a 'sibling competition', Shinobu would be with Kanao, Kyojuro with Senjuro, Giyuu with Muichiro and Sanemi with Genya. Anyway, let's focus on the second test, which is where everything happened
'Okay! The next test is to confess something to your brother or sister! Good luck!', everyone agreed, sitting at a safe distance so as not to hear the confession of the other pair of siblings. 'Ehhh, who should initiate the confession?'
'Come here you little shit! Come closer!' , Genya sighed and walked over. 'Idiot', Sanemi laughed as Genya walked away and looked at him with a serious face.
As Sanemi laughed, Genya thought of something that he knew would make his brother's smile disappear, and also make him kill him. 'I'm gay, I like Tokito'
Sanemi stopped laughing and looked out of the corner of his eye at his brother, who was smiling satisfied with his older brother's expression.
'What did you say idiot...?'
'I don't repeat twice!', Genya stuck out his tongue and laughed.
Poor Genya, he was so focused on laughing that he forgot that he had confessed something that made Sanemi angry and that he had also called him an idiot. 'So you like Muichiro, huh? And how long were you hiding that from me?'
'Almost as long as you've been fucking Giyuu-San!', Sanemi cracked his knuckles and smiled. Genya was definitely not going to get out of that situation unscathed.
'I wonder how Shinazugawa did?'
'Does it matter?', Giyuu sighed and poked Muichiro's cheeks before getting up and making sure everything was okay with both brothers.
'And that sound?', I think we all know what Giyuu saw and heard. 'So today you woke up wanting your older brother to beat you up for your vocabulary, huh?'
'I'M SOHOHORRY!!! NEHEHEMIHIHI!! NOHOHOHO!! WAHAHAHIT-!! N-NOT THAHAHAT!!'
'Ohhh~? Don't you want me to blow a raspberry on your tummy?', Sanemi smiled evilly as he saw how Genya began to squirm and try to get away from his grasp. 'Don't even try to run away from me! You're going to pay for your sin!'
'NEMI NO! PLEASE!!'
'Nemi? I don't know who that is! Do you know who you are with when you say bad words? With the tickle monster~', Sanemi inhaled as much air as he could and blew a raspberry directly at his brother's navel while moving his head to make the sensation worse.
Genya arched his back and began to scream for help, begging for someone to save him from his torment before Sanemi truly went into his 'ler mod' and ripped him apart for his comment.
'I-I CAHAHAN'T BREHEHAHATHE!! ANIHIHIKI P-PLEAHAHASE!!'
'And what makes you think that-? Hmm?', Giyuu is Genya's guardian angel, he knows perfectly how to calm Sanemi down. 'Are you going to leave your brother alone?'
'Tsk, good, you're free...For now', Genya smiled and hugged Giyuu, he definitely loved having him as a brother-in-law.

The Baby Bird | Sanegiyuu Drabble
Description: Sanemi and Giyuu share a moment after an encounter with a bird. (Takes place around the same place as the sword-smith village arc.)
Warnings: angst, fluff, swearing, attempts at humor, Giyuu is actually funny
727 words
The master had sent Sanemi on a mission. Usually it wouldn’t bother him but this time his mission was with Tomioka.
When he met with Tomioka, he looked more gloomy than ever, which infuriated Sanemi even more.
Tomioka noticed he was more agitated than normal and tried his best to keep his distance. He didn’t exactly enjoy this day either, he hardly remembers his family at all aside from his sister, Tsutako, who practically raised him.
Even then, his memory of her has gradually faded over time and he’d almost completely forgotten what she looks like. His heart aches at the thought of her.
“Fucking hurry up, Tomioka!” Sanemi growled from up ahead.
Tomioka quickly sped after him as he shook himself out of his thoughts.
The two headed up the hill in total silence. The sun began to set and the two kept their guard up for any demons.
From what they know, this demon had been causing a lot of trouble in the local villages, and specifically targeted children.
They reached the village not long after the sun had fallen completely. They split up briefly and began to search for the demon.
Giyuu came across it first and attempted to slice of its head but missed and chopped its arm instead.
“What has gotten into you, Tomioka?! That should have been easy for you!” Sanemi spat before speeding off towards the demon.
In his anger, Sanemi fealty the finishing blow to the demon and watched it slowly disintegrate. He had expected Tomioka to follow him instead he was nowhere to be found.
The sun was rising so knew wherever he wouldn’t be in any demon trouble.
It wouldn’t usually bother him but he felt something was off the second he saw him. He had nothing better to do, so decided to go search for him.
He eventually found him bent down by a river. He stomped on over but stopped when he saw what he was holding.
Giyuu held a baby bird on his hands, which Sanemi assumed he must have scooped out of the river.
He had the bird wrapped in a small piece of cloth and he was gently drying it off as it tweeted in his hands.
Giyuu looked up and Sanemi for a second before looking back to the baby bird.
“Sorry for leaving you with that demon.” Giyuu spoke softly.
“It’s fine. I was more than capable of dealing with it.” Sanemi told him.
Giyuu hummed and stood up, making sure to be careful of the bird in his hands. Sanemi watched Giyuu’s cautiousness when it came to the bird.
When he knew the bird was dry, he carefully put the bird back on a branch in a tree nearby.
He'd never seen Tomioka show so much concern over people, but watching him care so attentively made him want to regret being so harsh on Tomioka in the past.
He could have sworn he actually caught a glimpse of him smiling as the bird reunited with its mother, before his smile turned to a look of sadness once again.
"You don't have to stay." Tomioka told him, eyes fixated on the ground in front of him. "If the demon has been defeated, there's no reason you have to stick with me anymore, and I'm sorry I wasn't much help."
That's what he's thinking? Sanemi thought to himself. He almost felt bad for him, but at the same time knew he should probably and report back to the master.
"I... I don't exactly hate your company, Tomioka." Sanemi told him. "Your gloomy face just pisses me off sometimes."
"Oh I'm sorry..." Tomioka told him, finally looking up at him. "I don't know i'm doing it half the time... My sister used to call it 'Resting bitch face."
Sanemi let out a snort of laughter at that. "So you do have a sense of humour! Wait till i tell uzui this!"
"i doubt he'll believe you tho." Giyuu told him.
"Oh fuck, you're right." Sanemi mentally smacked himself.
Before Giyuu could reply, his crow gracelessly face-planted the floor. Giyuu, with a sigh, bent down to help the poor old thing up.
"Hashira meeting! Shinazugawa! Tomioka! Report back to the master!" It squawked after catching its breath.
"Duty calls." Sanemi sighed.
The two headed back to base together, not talking the entire way there...

Of all the things I see constantly mentioned about SaneGiyuu, or just in an analysis of Sanemi and Giyuu's relationship, I very rarely see people mention the Masachika/Sabito parallel. And even if it's mentioned, this moment in particular:
Tumblr media
Like, yeah, Giyuu is very non-confrontational (best example of this being Giyuu full on knowing Shinobu was pale and yet saying nothing), but I also do like to interpret this as Giyuu understanding exactly what Sanemi felt in that meeting. Believing someone else could become a hashira and getting mad at the idea of them not making it, but instead, you do.
If Giyuu was ever someone to truly get angry and express it loudly, he'd be exactly like Sanemi in that meeting. He gets it more than anyone else. I think this "opposites" relationship they have is neat.

you've mentioned your obanai is very sickly
do sanegiyuu ever have to help him when hes in pain because of it? or something like it?
yes... unfortunately obanai keeps his scar (as seen here), and even then he's really small and weak for a one month old
Tumblr media
as he gets older it's more manageable, but from infanthood to him being maybe 5 or 6 he needs a lot of special attention
sanegiyuu sleeps with Obi in their arms or cuddled up between the two... he doesn't get to sleep in his own bed until hes a bit older (not that Obi necessarily wants to-- he likes being with the two) ...
they try not to look at his scar too much. its the first time either of them are seeing it and it makes them really angry and upset to think of what obanai had gone through to get a scar like that. but if its really hurting obanai, they'll give it gentle kisses
they're extraordinarily protective and if obi so much as coughs, they're hysterical. giyuu has never seen sanemi so gentle and terrified.

ahhh gotta be quick with demon slayer before it fills up haha
SANEGIYU ANGST. because i just know that at some point sanemi was tired or distracted or smth like that and called giyu kanae. and while the horror of what just happened settles into his chest and he starts apologizing, giyu just looks him dead in the eye and says with an ever so slight tremble to his voice: "it's okay, sabito."
OOF. Ouch, owie! This one hurt! My heart is broken, be right back gonna go wallow in Sanegiyuu fluff *dives in*
CW: Mentions of death, mentions of blood
“Thanks, Kanae.”
And just like that- everything collapsed.
~~ Soft black hair all down her back. The smell of Peonies as she moved. Her smile- radiant and unyielding even in the face of his rage. Butterfly clips that held back her hair as she tended to his bleeding arms.
“You’re gonna bleed out one day, Shinazugawa.” She chided softly, her voice like bells.
“Good. Maybe I’ll bring all the demons to me when I die.” He shrugged, wincing when she pinched his bicep. “Ow, the hell?”
“Don’t talk like that.” Her voice took on a rare edge, and when she looked up, pale lilac eyes held a hard glare. “Never say that again.”
“Jeez, calm down.” Sanemi sighed, even as he felt himself give in. “It’s not like it’s not a possibility. We’re Hashira. We’re bound to die young.”
“Maybe. Still, don’t speak of your death so easily. There’s always someone who’ll be hurt by it.” Her expression softened, something sad in her gaze. “I’m rather fond of you. I’d rather not hear from your crow of your untimely demise.”
Sanemi had nothing to say to that, only watching as she tied off the bandage around his arm.
~~
Sanemi’s chest twisted, the name on his tongue so familiar and so achingly heavy. He missed her. He missed her gentle touch, her soft voice, the way she never failed to make his heart race like-
Like…
Oh dear god.
He twisted around, eyes widening as they fell upon an unreadable Giyu. GIyu, his boyfriend.
Giyu, the person he’s supposed to love.
Giyu, whose heart he just shattered.
“Giyu…I’m so sorry…” Sanemi whispered out, his voice too choked to speak any louder.
The Water Hashira seemed frozen, still as a statue. His expression was hidden in his bangs. Please. Sanemi begged internally. Please look up.
Giyu finally did, and his eyes…
Those eyes…
“It’s okay, Sabito.”
Sanemi didn’t hear him as he walked away.
He couldn’t hear anything anymore.
Send me a headcanon and character(s) and I'll write a short 300-500 word dabble for it!

why sanegiyuu DOES make sense
woo another analysis
Both sanemi and giyuu are complex characters, and both of them did play off each other in crucial ways for their character development, their dynamic is complicated and much more then ‘they hate each other’ because in fact sanemi was the only one hated giyuu, giyuu didn’t hate sanemi. And that was due to a misunderstanding. Let’s start with giyuu, we already know that giyuu had a lot of mental issues during the time of the anime, tanjiro helping giyuu with that was a major part of his development and it’s what leads us to how sanemi affects giyuu’s character. After tanjiro causes him to acknowledge that he actually does have worth, he allowed himself to think about making another connection with another person, something giyuu did want.
Out of all the people giyuu could choose he decided on sanemi, most likely due to sanemi’s similarities to sabito giving giyuu a sense of familiarity. Giyuu never tried to hide that he wanted a connection, he shows it, picturing him giving sanemi ohagi and him talking about it with tanjiro. With sanemi, sanemi is pretty much the polar opposite, sanemi made up a entire life plan as a coping mechanism, ignoring reality and causing him to do very harsh things and that it’s itself is a delusion. He is genuinely harsh to anyone that reminds him of himself, tanjiro, genya and of course giyuu.
the people that sanemi did feel calm around didn’t remind him of himself, instead family, for example masachika and especially kanae. Sanemi acknowledged kanae was very different from himself, she was an older sibling too, but she was kind, even towards demons, just like how shizu (sanemi’s mother) was kind to kyogo (their father). Every parallel between sanemi and kanae was linked to his mother and how much he missed her. Kanae pacified sanemi for a while, though in the long term sanemi did not need that type of comfort, he needed a full on slap to the face, to bring him back to reality. he needed a slap, and trusted support so he wouldn’t completely loose it.
like i mentioned earlier sanemi did hate giyuu, but it was due to a misunderstanding. During the hashira meeting giyuu walked out, saying he wasn’t like the rest of the hashira. Giyuu meant to say that he didn’t deserve to be a hashira but sanemi misunderstood. Sanemi couldn’t fathom why someone would be so vulnerable openly, he didn’t even think for a second giyuu could think he was inferior because sanemi himself would rather die then be that vulnerable. Causing their miscommunication.
giyuu also needed a slap and he received multiple, one of them being physical, and that one is of course sabitos, after his sister died, which is what caused giyuu to get so attached to him in the first place. The second one was tanjiro, when he helped giyuu open up. Lastly the final one was sanemi during the final battle when giyuu got saved by obanai, and sanemi yelled at him “don’t space out now or i’ll murder your ass” which caused giyuu to acknowledge that he was indeed the water hashira, and then they slammed their blades together.
Although sanemi did have a positive influence on giyuu, it’s worth pointing out that giyuu had a positive influence on sanemi too. Because sanemi did get the well needed slap back to reality when genya died. His delusion broke into pieces. He needed support after the final battle, and giyuu was there to give him that support.
They were alone together after the corps defeated muzan, and they had so much in common. They could truely understand each other causing them to be vulnerable with another person, something they hadn’t done in years. The proof relies in the fact they were eating together, of their own free will. Tengen was close with them at the end of the manga but tengen wasn’t there, Because that panel was about sanemi and giyuu and their bond, there wasn’t a need for words because it was shown. Sanemi and giyuu thrived for the first time in forever, that in itself creates romantic chemistry. Their friendship was meaningful because they had so much in common, they could understand what the other was going through because they’d gone through the same thing.

everyday I wake up and remember that giyuu's impression of sanemi and obanai are so different. someone once pointed out that he sees obanai's hostility against him different than how he sees sanemi's hostility towards him.
in the fanbook, giyuu says he's sad whenever Obanai says bad things about him
meanwhile to sanemi, it's just, "grumpy" , just an observation like that and not to mention he really wants to be friends with sanemi, through that 'ohagi in his sleeves' stunt.
I mean i understand that normally, you wouldn't want to hang out with someone who hates you (in this case, giyuu to obanai), but I don't understand why he sees sanemi's treatment any different from obanai. not to mention that giyuu probably saw those two hanging out a lot.
if someone can clear it up, I'd be happy to be open about it and accept I'm wrong in seeing all these stuff. someone might have pointed out things already and I'd honestly like to read!!
I ship sanegiyuu so hard but this just honestly makes me wonder (and happy)
anyway, early morning thoughts and have a good day y'all, peace ✌️

Hi! I hope you can accept this request, Lee! Giyuu, Ler! Tsutako, I don't know if this could be an AU but in this Tsutako is alive at the end of defeating Muzan.
You do Sanegiyuu, so one situation could be, that Tsutako starts teasing or teasing (jokingly tickling) Giyuu to tell her who her partner is (Giyuu didn't tell her because she was afraid that Tsutako wouldn't accept their relationship. )
Please and thank you
JJSHSKSHJSHDKSJS so cute 😭❤️
Tumblr media
Ler: Tsutako Tomioka
Lee: Giyuu Tomioka
'The moon looks beautiful tonight, don't you think...?', Tsutako hid, she would recognize that voice wherever she went, it was her brother Giyuu's voice!
She was attentive to the other person's response, she did not want her brother to cry, what older sister or brother would like to see that?
"I can die in peace..." was the other person's response, but Tsutako didn't know, whoever it was to, Giyuu preferred to whisper it.
'I wonder what was the answer, I hope it was a yes, my brother is a good person. ...Maybe Giyuu will soon tell me about it'
To Tsutako's disappointment, it didn't happen, she knew that Giyuu was shy, but she didn't think that he would hide it from his sister about it, but Tsutako didn't want to pressure him either, everything was up to due time, right?
'Tsu... Are you okay? I've been talking to you and you haven't answered me?'
'I'm sorry... I'm thinking about Giyuu... There's something that happened recently and I don't know why he hasn't talked to me...'
'You mean what happened with that Kitsubiju man?', Tsutako laughed, she didn't know if her husband would have done it on purpose or not, but it comforted her.
She talked to him and they both shared the thought that the answer may have been "yes", but that they should give it the time, maybe that person was a little shy?
However, something Tsutako didn't like, if her brother had been accepted, why didn't he tell her?
'And... How have you been? It hasn't continued to hurt, has it?' 'Not much anymore... Although sometimes I'm afraid that it will become inflamed, infected or the wound will open'
'You know you'll have your older sister if any of that happens...', Giyuu looked at her and smiled.
Well, Tsutako's plan didn't work, maybe if she was more direct? 'Who is that person, Giyuu?'
'Huh...?', Giyuu understood, but what he didn't understand was how Tsutako knew, did he perhaps talk in his sleep?
Although that was the least important thing, he knew his sister and knew that she loved him despite everything, but he still didn't feel ready to comment on his sexuality, he wasn't ashamed or anything, he didn't know what was happening to him at that time...
'I-I don't know what you're talking about...' 'Giyuu, I heard you that night when you told someone "the moon is very beautiful tonight"... I know you weren't alone, why did you hide that from me?'
'I-I haven't hidden anything from you...'
Tsutako took her brother's hand and caressed it, and yet Giyuu felt scared, he didn't know exactly what, maybe it was fear that Tsutako wouldn't accept who he was with? Or maybe he was afraid of saying the wrong words? Or perhaps it was because he felt it was too early to comment?
'Giyuu, don't you trust me...?'
'I do, it's just that... I don't know... What if everything between us goes wrong? I wouldn't want you to feel bad because I start crying because that person left me... I'm scared...', Tsutako hugged him.
She, besides Urokodaki and Tanjiro, was the only one who has seen that side of Giyuu.
She waited until he calmed down, she also started to feel bad, she shouldn't have gotten involved in that matter, she should have been patient.
'Better?' 'Yes... I think so...'
'It's Sanemi...', Tsutako opened her eyes, that name seemed familiar...
Sanemi... Sanemi... SANEMI?!
'Are you talking about Sanemi, your childhood friend with whom you always met every afternoon and begged me, almost crying, to take you home to play?'
'Yes... That Sanemi...', Giyuu felt more relaxed, in a way.
Tsutako had that reference from Sanemi, but she didn't know that they were both "enemies" at some point, he never told her and maybe that must have been what terrified him before, yes, it must have been that...
'Giyuu! I'm so happy for you! You have no idea how happy I feel!'
'It... It doesn't bother you...?'
'Annoy me?! Of course not! I always noticed how you looked at Sanemi, even though you were a child, you seemed to be quite attracted to him, your eyes lit up so much that they looked like a flashlight hahaha! I also remember how you blushed out of embarrassment and Sanemi compared the color of your blush to that of a rose hahaha, you should have seen your face that day...!'
Or maybe that was what Giyuu didn't want, he felt his face burn with shame.
Did he remember all that? Yes. And even though around 10 years had passed, it still embarrassed him like the first time? Yeah.
'How long have you been with him?'
'I don't know... I guess it was a few months ago or maybe a year ago... I don't remember, things happened so fast that I didn't even measure the time...' 'WHAT ?!', Tsutako felt offended, "months", "a year ago"?!
So what she had heard a few weeks ago wasn't the true confession?!
Ooooh Giyuu was in trouble...
'And you never dared to tell me?! I'm your big sister! And I think you know what happens when you hide something from me...~'
'Ehehehe... I think your husband is calling you...' 'I'm sorry Giyuu, but you won't be saved from this~'
Giyuu blushed even before for Tsutako to do something, just seeing her move her fingers was enough to make him laugh, but he didn't even try to escape. Maybe he wanted that?
Or maybe he knew that if he escaped, it would be worse...
'Wahahihit!! Tsutahahako!!'
'Tell me something Giyuu, does Sanemi tickle you too like he did when you were kids~? Because if he hasn't, maybe I can help him remember...'
'Nohohoho!! Plehahasehehe noooo!!', Tsutako laughed, then apparently the answer to her question was a "yes".
Just thinking about those times made Giyuu's face turn so red that Tsutako could compare it to the kimono she used to wear when they were children, but she didn't say anything since she didn't want to embarrass her brother more.
'So, first you hide your relationship of almost a year from me...' 'Sohohohorry!!'
'I thought they had rejected you and that's why you didn't want to tell me! Do you know how I feel Giyuu?! Well, I think you know what's next for you...~'
Giyuu shook his head, he knew Tsutako and knew that she was the only person to make him squeal with a single raspberry.
'Wait!! Nononono!! GYAHAHAHAHA!!', Giyuu threw his head back while his sister placed the first raspberry on his tummy. 'Aaaaw, you haven't changed anything~. I remember how you always asked Sanemi to do this and he gladly accepted!'
'PLEHAHASEHE!! DOHOHOHON'T SAHAHAY THAHAHAT!!'
'And why not? Is it the truth~ are you still asking Sanemi to blow raspberries on your tummy~? Or maybe you ask him to tickle your sensitive ribs~? Or maybe you ask him to sing "itsy witsy" or "this little piggy" like before~?'
Giyuu let out the most embarrassing screech he had ever made, and that only meant one thing, this was just the warm-up...
