willmack accent deep dive

i am by NO means a linguist, merely someone who took some college classes and thinks willmack are such funny sharks

mack

vancouver -> bay area, ca @ 12 -> minnesota @ 14 -> chicago @ 16 -> boston @ 17 -> bay area, ca

most people say that the vancouverite accent is the same as a pacific northwest/northern california accent, and for the most part i think this holds especially true for macklin (and aiden - they sounds so similar it's crazy!)

while he may be a california boy now, he definitely does have still have some canadians in him still - especially prominent when back in vancouver:

"out" - in all the clips of him, his "out" is always pronounced like a canadian, with an e as in bet + oot as in loot vs the american pronunciation with ow + t. he also seems to do this with "about" and "house"

"the states" - when in vancouver, he explains that his family is going to be doing christmas "down in the states" but also refers to the us as going "down to the states" pretty frequently

"eh" - he for sure does not say this canadianism as much as others, but when with friends and/or chirping someone it does present itself

he's also adopted some weird midwestern americanism's, maybe from his time living at ssm in minnesota and then a year in chicago

one notable thing is his pronunciation of aunt. from my understanding, "aunt" is pronounced as "ant" by vancouverites (same as we do in northern california). yet mack, from what i've heard, pronounces it as "awunts", which according to extensive blog research and minnesota friend consultation, i think is something minnesotans feel strongly correct about.

in summary - mack is a diluted vancouverite, and blends in right at home in northern california

i'm going to be completely honest - will was incredibly boring (to me) linguistically. i watched hours upon hours of interviews of him talking but nothing stuck out like a sore thumb like some of mack's did.

coming into my research, i expected to pinpoint will's accent as a strong boston accent - his family has lived there since forever, etc, but i was finding it difficult (to my bad, untrained ear).

i think a reason for this could be the decline of the strong boston accent in younger generations, particularly surrounding the horse–hoarse merger (which essentially means that the "traditional" boston accent would pronounce the two separately, whereas now they're pronounced the same). also possible that he just never absorbed the accent because his mom is from chicago and not boston? uncertain

i tried to listen for a couple notable elements of a traditional boston accent

non-rhoticity (or, dropping the "r" at the end of words - think "pahk" for park). will really doesn't do it: when pronouncing "river" you can hear the r at the end, and when pronouncing "car" you can hear the r (although he is impersonating mack here - he has a specific mack voice which is funny!)

cot-caught merger. the "traditional" boston accent will pronounce the two differently, with "coffee" pronounced the same way as caught (think cAW-fee). will however, has merged, and pronounces "coffee" without an 'aw' sound, like toffee.

boston. will actually has quite a "modern boston" accent when pronouncing boston. it's not as notable as traditional (bah-stin) and not as far as "general american" (baw-sten), but is a "modern accent" (baw-stin).

why isn't his accent as strong? it's possible that his family is just too far from being working class (his mom barely has a "non standard" american accent), yet his dad does have larger traces of the traditional accent. in summary - he's a modern boy!

one thing that has been pointed out by even interviewers is how posed and confident will comes across in the media. will attributes this to "st. sebastian's in needham...which helped me off the ice in all aspects". st. sebastian's website lists the following as part of their academic pathway:

so i'm assuming even prior to doing media and getting pr training at the usntdp, will is used to talking to a big group of people - so he's right in his self assessment!

Drew’s eyes meet yours, his lips curling into a mischievous grin. “I thought I’d find you here,” he says, his voice low and teasing, as he steps closer. You smile, glancing up at him with a playful look in your eyes.

“Couldn’t wait to sit by the tree until morning?” he murmurs, his tone laced with both amusement and affection as he stops just in front of you.

You chuckle softly, setting the mug down. “I didn’t want to fall asleep on you,” you reply, meeting his gaze with a hint of mischief. “Plus, the tree’s too beautiful not to admire.” You and Drew just had your twins 9 months ago. This was their first Christmas and it felt unreal with the doubled amount of gifts under the tree.

His hands slide under your sweater, tugging it up inch by inch, the fabric brushing against your skin until it joins his shirt in a forgotten heap on the floor.

Drew pauses for a moment, his hands resting on your bare waist, his eyes roaming over you with a mixture of reverence and hunger. “You’re so beautiful,” he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion.

You pull him closer, your fingers working at the button of his jeans as his lips find yours once more. The soft crackle of the fire and the gentle hum of the storm outside create a world of intimacy and comfort, as layers of clothing fall away, leaving only the warmth of skin against skin.

Slowly, almost teasingly, he slides them down your hips, past your thighs, and off completely, letting them drop onto the floor. He catches your gaze, his eyes filled with a mix of hunger and adoration, before he shifts his focus to your legs. 

Gently, he lifts one of your legs, bringing it up toward his shoulder. His lips press soft, lingering kisses along the length of your calf, moving all the way down to your ankle. His lips brush against yours again as he slowly pushes into you, filling you completely in one fluid motion. A gasp escapes your lips, and he groans softly, the sound vibrating against your skin.

He pauses for a moment, his forehead resting against yours, letting you both adjust to the intensity of the connection. Then, he hooks one strong arm beneath your neck, cradling your head and holding you close. His other his forearm resting firmly next to your head, keeping your bodies pressed tightly together.

“You’re perfect,” he murmurs, his lips brushing against your ear as he begins to move, the moves are slow and deliberate, building a rhythm that leaves you breathless. Each thrust is filled with a passion that speaks louder than words, his body moving in perfect sync with yours. 

Drew moves deliberately, each thrust slow and deep, as if he’s savoring every second of being inside you. His breath is warm against your neck, and his lips brush against your skin with every measured movement. The arm cradling your neck holds you close, while the other moves beneath your left arm, holding onto your shoulder, grounding you in his embrace.

“God, you’re incredible,” Drew groans, his own pace faltering as your release pushes him over the edge. He buries himself deep inside you, his face pressed into your neck as he lets go, his body trembling with the force of his climax.

I think the Twins were the bitches of the Alpha Pack too.

Hear me out. I know the Twins could go all Voltron wolf and beat everyones ass right? But... I don't think they were supercharged the same way Deucalion, Kali and Ennis would've been.

Ethan tells Scott and Stiles that Aiden and Him tore through their pack, one by one, leaving their Alpha for last. I don't think that they could've absorbed the power of their pack if they weren't Alphas, not the same way as Deucalion, Kali, and Ennis - all of whom were Alphas when they killed their packs.

Ethan and Aiden, despite their Voltron wolf merging abilities, were regular alpha wolves. They had typical Alpha abilities, and their Twin-ness gave them a leg-up because of the merge. Which is why Deucalion collected them. Similarly to how he wanted Scott because of the True Alpha thing.

HOWEVER I think that made them the Bitches of the Alpha pack. They take orders from Kali, mostly, they get punished by Deucalion (the cuts on the cheeks), and they seem to fall behind Ennis whenever they've interacted. They were sent to do the 'dirty' work - track down Isaac, attend high school, play spy with Lydia and Danny, help Kali make Derek kill Boyd, attack Jennifer Blake before they knew she was the Darach, etc etc etc. They also seem to take orders rather than give them.

They might be the youngest, yes, but I also think they were the bitches too. Just like they were before as betas, omegas. And just like they were after they lost their Alpha spark.

And it kind of speaks to how Deucalion controlled them - why would he allow them to become supercharged when they can merge? He doesn't. He probably suggested that they go after the pack one-by-one until they killed the Alpha last so they wouldn't be more powerful than him.

Maybe I'm late to the party on realizing this, but I don't see anyone talk about it - so maybe I'm not?

William launches himself into the car like he’s escaping the paparazzi. “Go go go,” he hisses, raspy, to his mother.

Scully, bewildered, looks back at him. “William, there’s a line! This isn’t an action movie, what’s going on?”

He makes a noise like a dying walrus.

Heather up ahead in a Juicy tracksuit and day-glo safety vest, directing traffic like a fucking Busytown cop with rhinestones across her annoyingly fantastic ass.

She spots Scully and waves like a beauty queen.

Scully smiles back, waggling a few fingers.

“MOOOOMMMMM GOOOOO,” her son wails.

She whips around. “William Samuel Scully, what on earth is wrong with you?”

He slouches, scowls. “I messed up.”

Having been with his father for nearly two decades, she knows “I messed up” can mean anything from “I might have eaten a smidgen of evidence” to “I sort of released a serial murderer of children.”

Something throbs in her temporal lobe. “Tell me.”

“There was…there was this bird,” William says, hiccuppy. Curled against the door.

She knows. She knows before he says it that the bird hit a classroom window during recess and that its delicate flower-stem neck snapped and it fell and fell and fell.

“Oh, honey…” she murmurs, closing her eyes for a beat.

Her boy - her lovely, strange, terrifying, angel of a boy - makes another hiccuppy sound. “Katie handed it to me and she was crying and I didn’t know what to do, Mom, his eyes were so…and and his beak was a little bloody and Katie was crying and even Aiden looked really sad and he’s NEVER sad and I just…”

He sobs a little.

“Oh, sweetheart,” she breathes. “Oh, Will.”

“I pulled the… anyway. I made him alive and his eyes were so bright but everyone was talking and they told the teachers and…”

Her sweet, sweet boy. He never asked for this.

William is gasping, trying to stay in control. “Am I in trouble?”

Scully laughs a little, merging left as Heather waves. “Honey, no. Let me call Daddy, let’s go to The Melting Pot. Let’s eat cheese and chocolate until we’re sick.”

He sniffles, looks up. “You said to nev-“

“Cheese,” she says firmly, blinker on. “Chocolate.”

She’s prone to mumbling in her sleep, whispering their name or soft, possessive phrases like, “You’re mine forever…” If the reader shifts or tries to move away, Taylor unconsciously tightens her grip, her face nuzzling into their chest or shoulder as if to stop them from going anywhere. She needs to feel their warmth, and being apart for even a second would wake her, wide-eyed and panicked until she realizes they’re still by her side. Then, with a sleepy smile, she’ll whisper, “Don’t ever leave me, okay?”

Aiden likes to cuddle in a way that ensures he’s always watching the reader. He lays on his side, his arm draped protectively over them, while his intense gaze follows the subtle rise and fall of their chest. He finds comfort in the small details—how their breath slows as they fall asleep, how peaceful they look when they’re vulnerable. But beneath his calm exterior, Aiden is always calculating, always thinking about how to keep the reader close, how to ensure they’ll never leave him. His fingers trace slow circles on their arm, his touch both soothing and possessive.

As Aiden falls asleep, his hand remains on the reader, a constant reminder of his presence. He sleeps lightly, and should the reader shift or move, his eyes flutter open instantly, a wave of panic passing through him before he realizes they’re still there. “You’re not going anywhere, right?” he’d whisper, voice low and soft, though there’s an edge to his tone that suggests it’s not really a question. He’ll pull them closer, wrapping both arms around them as he settles back into sleep, ensuring that they’re as trapped in his embrace as they are in his obsession.

Cuddling with Ben is intense and suffocating in the best way possible. He’s all about physical closeness, wrapping his arms around the reader like a shield, ensuring that no one can get between them. He likes to have their head tucked under his chin or nestled against his chest, where he can feel their breath against his skin. It’s comforting to him, knowing that they’re right there, completely enveloped in his embrace. Every so often, he’ll press soft kisses to the top of their head, murmuring how much he needs them, how he’ll never let them go.

Ben sleeps deeply, but even in his sleep, his grip on the reader never falters. He’s like a furnace, always warm and clingy, pressing them closer as if they’re his lifeline. Should the reader try to move away, even just to get comfortable, Ben instinctively pulls them back, mumbling something about how they belong to him. He’s possessive in the most obvious way, wanting to be near them at all times, especially when they’re sleeping. To him, these moments are sacred—no one else gets to have this level of closeness with the reader, and he’ll make sure they remember that.

Logan:

Logan is the type to shyly ask for closeness when cuddling. He rarely speaks during these moments, instead choosing to let his actions do the talking. He hesitantly pulls the reader into his arms, positioning them so he’s lying against their chest or tucked under their arm, and holds them in a grip that’s both protective and possessive. His heartbeat is steady, a rhythmic reminder that he’s always there, always watching over them, always ensuring they’re safe. His fingers trace lazy lines on their hip or arm, but there’s a quiet shyness in his gentle movements, as if he’s afraid they’d break if he was too harsh.

Logan doesn’t sleep deeply, and his possessive nature often manifests in small moments of waking up throughout the night, his eyes scanning the reader’s face as if reassuring himself that they’re still there. When he’s asleep, his hold on them never loosens, and should they try to move, Logan will wake instantly, his grip tightening as his eyes shyly meet theirs. “Im so happy your mine forever…” he mutters, his voice quiet  with sleep but soft in its shyness. He needs the reader close—physically and emotionally—and these moments of sleep are the only times he allows himself to be so openly vulnerable about it.

I think the problem with the All Stars merge is that they don't really let any positive relationships, especially newer ones, linger for too long.

Grett and Gabby defeat Yul and become friends! Gabby is eliminated the next episode.

Jake and Aiden work out their differences and become friends! Aiden is eliminated two episodes later.

Connor and Alec make up and become friends again! Alec is eliminated THAT SAME EPISODE.

Meanwhile, the negative relationships (shoutout Jake and Ally, shoutout Connor and Riya) get milked and dragged out for all they are worth. No wonder the show feels so miserable nowadays.

As a Jake kinnie and supporter, an Aiden enjoyer, and Jakeden shipper- deadass the story would be more exciting if they dated.

Hear me out- Tom x Jake? It’s cute, but it honestly feels a little empty. If ONC wanted to focus on the Jam ship, they should’ve added more. The stupid “will they won’t they” should not be in my indie gay show!!

James x Aiden- nothing. No seasoning. No spice. No chemistry. Just fanservice. In my opinion, it doesn’t help that the first kiss they ever had was a little non-consensual. Aiden agreed to kiss him for like 2 seconds- not 10. Aiden was probably really uncomfortable considering that he didn’t like James at the time. Plus James’ entire personality is “Aiden” and “Social media” it feels like he’s an NPC.

So what if in DCAS Aiden used to love James, he really did. But recently, every kiss feels fake, every hug feels fabricated. James still loves Aiden, but Aiden doesn’t feel the same anymore. Getting back into the show was perfect! Maybe he could have the privacy to talk to Lake, maybe the spark between him and James would relight! But as soon as Aiden walks onto the plane, he spots Jake. Aiden LOVED Jake in season one- so he has a little fanboy crush as is. James gets voted off, and Aiden doesn’t really feel that upset, if anything he’s a little glad he won’t have to act super lovey dovey. He had a conversation with Lake before she gets voted off, and she basically tells him “It’s okay to not be in love anymore. Things happen, you should just be honest with him and break things off when the show is over.”

Jake on the other hand gets jealous of Tom and Aiden hanging out- but this time.. it’s not because of Tom. Jake is jealous that Tom is hanging out with this cute boy. Jake tells himself that he’s jealous of Aiden, as Jake has slowly begun to realize that him and Tom just might not be meant to be and he needs to move the fuck on. Eventually, Jake starts to realize that he’s thinking more and more about Aiden and tells this to Ashley- and she basically says “Well it sounds like you got a crush on Aiden, not Tom.” Jake understands this now- but because he’s bad with his feelings, he still acts kinda passive aggressive with Aiden. Yet he can’t help but joke around with him sometimes. When the merge happens and Connor gives everyone the speech, Jake realizes that he should be more honest with Aiden. So Jake and Aiden start to develop a friendship! Episode 13- the superhero one! At the end of the challenge! Make Aiden kiss Jake in the moment!! Because over the course of the show- Aiden was like “God Jake is so pretty” and then their friendship arc made him go “God Jake is so cool” then after the challenge- Jake and Aiden talk to each other- and become a couple.

This adds more to Jake’s character! He’s finally in a relationship that isn’t based off looks, they have chemistry, they have a genuine relationship arc and not that “will they won’t they” bullcrap. Then when Aiden gets voted off! Jake is like “I need to win this for me, AND Aiden!”

Also the moment when Jake finds out James is his helper in the final challenge? That “James.. oh g o d” is so much funnier because Jake and Aiden are dating now. And Jake has no idea about how James feels about that. (Don’t worry they establish that James and Aiden break up in the motel episode- James is sad but he understands)

this is my own personal bias but i'd love to add james to their relationship anyways, jajames enemies to lovers is SO FUNNY - but i can totally get behind just jakeden. seriously they had so much chemistry.

i think i would change the kiss though, i'd let them get a kiss just maybe in the finale, granted that jake is in it. just so everything is consensual and sorted out, so we don't have to bear with 'cheating' drama with jaiden. they can still have those nice, awkward & romantic moments, like the hug in the lie detector episode (my god was that peak jakeden. that whole episode was spectacular for them)

Okay I'm having another thought about Isaac (I am thinking about Isaac again, big fucking surprise)

I feel like it says a lot about Isaac that during Motel California when Stiles found him and used the flare to snap him out of the mental torture spell that the motel ghost and the Wolfsbane had put all of the wolves in, Isaac was the only one not actively trying to physically harm himself. Isaac was hiding under the bed.

(If you haven't seen the episode and/or don't watch the show, mentions of trauma, suicide and self harm below.)

Like - let's run it down.

Ethan was being tortured by visions of someone trapped inside of his body and he tried to use a circular saw to cut that someone out (trying to cut himself free). It likely represents the idea that he was coming to resent merging with Aiden in their Alpha state, hating not having his own individual identity, hating the fact that Aiden might make him hurt someone (against his will while they're merged) innocent like Danny in the name of Deucalion's cause.

Boyd was being reminded of a childhood trauma (and I am actually so pissed that the show didn't go into more detail about this story and if they weren't planning on revealing the full details - why didn't they just make his visions about Erica? because he's clearly tortured and fucked up about that) where it seems like he was responsible for a younger sibling in a public place and that sibling was then abducted or went missing (and maybe turned up dead later?) and he feels responsible for her disappearance and/or death.

So he takes the safe out of the office and places it on top of himself to weigh himself down while he drowns in the bathtub - one, because he knows that no one of humans who are conscious of the goings on can lift it off and free him, and two, likely to represent the crushing weight that he feels over the guilt of losing his sibling. The crushing 'responsibility' he felt (even though he was just a child and it wasn't his fault). And it probably comes back to Erica - how he felt responsible for taking care of her during the time they were captured, and he likely felt responsible for her death too.

And Scott - sees a vision of his mother kidnapped and murdered by Deucalion, and he is told that it's all his fault. And he tries to burn himself alive while questioning if there is a ghost trying to convince him to do it or if there's something truly wrong with him. (And not knowing that Derek is alive, he feels responsible for Derek's 'death' and the lives of everyone around him - so the message here is pretty clear.)

What happens to Isaac is what interests me the most. He remembers something that happened during his childhood, a distinct memory with his father - a seemingly random, average conversation where his father is trying to teach him about tools, and things escalate quickly. When Isaac makes a simple mistake, his father's anger booms out of control, and he tells Isaac that he is inherently flawed, and then - Isaac has a vision of himself being locked back in the freezer that his father used to punish him, which we later find out means that the ghost prompted him to crawl under the bed, a tight space that would normally send him spiralling into a panic attack. The ghost is using his claustrophobia to torture him (when Stiles finds him, he's sweaty and shaking and clearly very poor off), but he's the only one of the wolves not actively trying to kill himself.

What this says to me is that - Isaac has already lived through a fate worse than death. Worse than the kind of mystery that drives the average person to suicide. This says to me that a demon (or whatever lives in the motel) that thrives off people killing themselves, gets more pain and suffering to feed off of from Isaac having a claustrophobic panic attack and believing that he's back in his father's basement in the freezer than it would if he was actually miserable enough to want to kill himself.

Isaac already died while locked in that freezer many, many times.

Idk that's just what that moment in the show says to me.

Semi-random scene analysis time. I honestly always liked this scene, and it took me a bit to figure out why, but I think I got it.

First off, just aesthetically, *chef's kiss*. The mussed up helmet hair looks adorable on all three of them, the outfits are on point, I'm literally just now noticing that I think the Steiners have matching backpacks (their commitment to the bit is insane and wonderful), it's all great.

Second...it's just funny. And charming. Ethan and Aiden ping-ponging the conversation between each other for a second without even letting Scott get a word in is fun, and the delivery of "This is about you being the target of demonic ninjas." "You mean the demonic ninjas who pulled swords out of their chests and kicked our asses?" "Yeah! Those demonic ninjas!" was pitch perfect. I feel like Charlie and Max don't get enough credit for how well they bounce off each other because it's assumed they would be good at it, when in actuallity I've met more than one set of identical twins who SUCK at that.

Lastly, it might be me reading too much into things, but I do think this scene is a great example of characterization through limited dialgoue and action. A line that stands out to me is "Since this is our first experience with demonic ninjas, we're thinking we should play it safe." The use of the plural pronoun is very telling to me, because I'd be willing to bet even thinking of protecting Scott was Ethan's idea, and yet he always uses the 'we' pronoun because he and Aiden are an inseperable team.

It's something I feel S3 really did right: distinctifying Ethan and Aiden into their own people without sacrificing their bond to each other. I feel like a lot of fiction that introduces twins as minor characters just makes them a unit without much distinction between them (hell, Harry Potter did it twice, for instance), but despite the Steiners literally having a merged form, the show made an effort to show how they're very different, yet still complementary people. They could be simplified to the brains and the brawn, but even that straightforward premise tells us a lot about how they've survived as long as they have and presumably a contributor to Deucalion recruiting them. It also makes Aiden's death all the more heartbreaking the more you realize how important they were to each other.

I'm getting a little off-topic here, but the point is that simple interactions like this can darastically shape a character and I feel as though that's underappreciated. Especially when it comes to already underrated characters like the Steiners.

On a last, less serious note, I appreciate that the three werewolves with miraculous healing abilities all still practice proper motorcycle safety and wear helmets, gloves, and long sleeves. Unironically love that for them.

Okay but actually, I love this.

I love this for his character.

Yes he's an asshole, but it makes sense as to why, it's very well explained why he's acting the way he is. We are shown multiple instances of sympathy you feel for him, because he is not entirely horrible.

He's not evil. But he's got major issues. It's such a strong line in between the two. I kinda feel like both instances of adoring him and glossing over his faults, and screaming hate on him and ignoring the POV, are a disservice to what this actually is.

AND HE ACTUALLY GETS CONSEQUENCES FOR HIS ACTIONS!

This was the best way he could've possibly gotten it too.

The dude is NOT motivated by money. His desire is LOVE. Companionship. Something he only ever received from his now dead grandma as a child. Everyone who claims to like him turns on him and uses him, and now he is in no interest of giving anyone a chance.

So eliminating him here would NOT be a consequence, actually. Because then he learns nothing. He would have gotten away with it.

So instead, you do something that stings more than that. You take away his only friend who gave him a chance despite everything. And now he is completely alone with everyone around him loathing him.

Despite everything, Ashley still saw his worth.

And because of said worth, she's gone.

I went into this season knowing Jake was going to be an asshole. It made sense after Season 1. So I'm not surprised. What I'm surprised with is how sympathetic they still made him.

But I also said, EVERY TIME, "Jake is going to be a Pre-Merge Boot/Early Merge Boot."

WELL THIS JUST PROVED THAT ENTIRELY WRONG.

He is not going anywhere.

This dude just became the main driving force of this entire season's story. Regardless if he wins or not. He has to redeem himself. That's the only way anyone else here stands a chance.

There's nowhere else for his character to go but up.

So then he has to be the 'hero' of this story. That's the only thing that makes sense with this setup.

He might actually win. I said there was no way. But NOW?! HE MIGHT ACTUALLY PULL OFF WINNING.

AND HE CAN DO IT FOR ASHLEY.

He just gives the money to Ashley.

Jake, worst player of the game. But story-wise? HE IS THE MVP FOR ME.

My favorite characters are the ones that are messy and flawed and acknowledged as such by the story, but still understandable and human. And Jake fits this near perfectly.

yul ends up being cancelled on his socials and he has to start working a regular job, he becomes miserable being yelled at and harassed by customers like he deserves yippee!

riya is also cancelled following the events of DCAS - seriously she CANNOT gain a following after this and she cannot find roles, realistically speaking - but she manages to sustain herself with her prize money for now. however, she does begin job hunting. it goes horrible for her, her digital footprint is too massive to ignore.

ashley continues living her quiet life on the farm with will, occasionally meeting up with lill & nick, as well as with jake, ally, lake and other contestants of DCAS! she even eventually reaches out to season 1 contestants left out, and organizes a get-together for the season 1 cast with everyone :)

ally, hunter & tess all eventually get together after a lot of denial and pining, and co-manage their channels. they become more and more popular, regularly attend cons, & overall just lead the awesome lives they deserve. tess also becomes popular for her art!

lake eventually gets into a qpr & goes to university to study psychology. she keeps in contact with aiden, james and friends she's made on DCAS. she goes on to live with rosa-maria after university, and the two will organize, years later down the line, a meet-up for the cast of season 2, even being kind enough as to invite yul and riya, although neither show up.

miriam gets to enjoy retirement by travelling around the world, sometimes even tagging along with friends, even with the group of james, aiden, lake and rosa-maria. why not :3

james & aiden continue travelling the world together, growing their following on social media, and eventually aiden pursues a career in theatre and earns a lot of success! i mean have you HEARD his VA sing. my god, can he sing.

ellie & gabby lead a happy life with ellie as an artist and gabby carries them with her income by becoming an environmental scientist !!

fiore moves in with alec, alec adopts fiore, and the two unlearn their bad habits together; alec, his bad parenting, and fiore, being this evil gremlin child. she still has her outbursts, but alec stops feeding into this idea that she is a monster or a mistake and pushes her to grow. the two also meet up with some other contestants, and eventually befriend rosa-maria, so she helps a lot with parenting tips :)

grett becomes a gym trainer & fitness influencer and uses her social media platform to encourage and lift up others. my queen

jake and tom begin dating and they talk a lottttttt of things out... and eventually tomjajakeden becomes a thing & they all move in together and it's awesome. tom and aiden aren't dating but the rest of them all are and it's kinda funny actually. tom also realizes he's aroflux and that explains a lot about how his identity has impacted his love life. they're unstoppable

also tom quits his job as a cop and becomes a firefighter instead. and gets an autism diagnosis. also jake gets a BPD diagnosis. and aiden gets a shit ton of piercings. and tom gets fatter. and james also gets a shit ton of piercings. and they're all happy together and they have movie nights and game nights and they love each other a lot

the cast generally meets a lot, the casts even merge at one point despite some of them never having been on DCAS. it's so funny how some of these guys meet. deadass alec and fiore go camping one night only to find they've come at the same camping site as kai and maggy. another time gabellie runs into dan at a bookstore. and so forth. they eventually get a super large groupchat and it's hilarious. they all meet sometimes and they have to book a huge venue it's so funny

also gabgrellie becomes real too why not. i love gabgrellie. grett moves in with them and they're all super cool and awesome and in love

The ballerina moved slowly and smoothly, her every movement was filled with grace and elegance, and the boy could not afford to tear himself away from this sight.

Ayden watched her every gesture, fascinated by every inch of her body and what lurked inside - in her soul. Her fiery character, hot temper, strong principles, passion and fight for life only embellished her unique image.

She was both fragile and strong, a ballerina with a sword, able to conquer the world with her art.

She was a combination of contradictions: she was a white crow and a black swan, exceptional and different.

That was all her wonderfulness, which the blond deified with a flutter in his bleeding heart. And with every cell of his body he felt how with the next graceful movement created by the girl, it began to beat less and less, as if it did not have time to process the blood that came to him, as if he was slowly dying, immersing himself in the magic of her dance and giving it all of himself.

It seemed to him that every time he saw her, he died and was reborn again, as if this cycle of feelings and emotions was the very essence of his life.

Ashlyn's dance was not just art - it was magic, capable of drawing him into its captivity, making him forget about time and space. She was the embodiment of beauty and power, and Ayden, lost in this swirl of emotions, realized that he could never take his eyes off her. Every step she took, every movement was like a spell, and he was ready to follow her even to the end of the world, just to see this superiority again, which mesmerized him and carried him to another, unknown world.

But the perfect picture collapsed. The music stopped, and the girl's body collapsed to the floor.

The picture in front of her eyes began to blur, and her head began to crack at the seams. Everything around her shook, and the space suddenly began to fill with... blood?

Panic instantly overcame the guy. He didn't know what to do, the scarlet liquid was filling the room, once illuminated only by thin rays of artificial sunlight, more and more with every second. His heart was pounding in his chest, desperately trying to break free. His eyes immediately traveled to the ballerina. Her green eyes that had just glowed with joy were now closed, and her lips, once smiling, were now lifelessly pressed to the floor. Everything around him begins to spin, and he feels his own world collapsing like a house of cards, crushed under the weight of terror. He tries to move, to run as fast as he can, to save her, but he can't take a step, only desperately screaming her name so that she will hear him, wake up. But his voice cannot leave the depths of his body. It stays somewhere inside, coming out only as a mute sound.

His mind is a whirlwind of thoughts, and he can't find a way out.

Like a caged bird, Aiden beats his wings against the iron bars, trying to get out, but all attempts are futile.

He screams again, but the sound of his voice is lost in the chaos. Everything around him blurs, and he can feel the world around him crumbling, forcing him to watch it with a special malevolence.

His mute voice, still hysterically wanting to shout her name, no longer holds the hope that she will hear him, but he can't afford to give up, can't leave her alone in this hell.

The blood around him seems alive, it pulls him down, but he can't let himself fall. He has to fight, has to save her.

Even if the whole world dies - she must live.

Please... Wake up.

His body jumped from its seat, pushing his body upward. The bed creaked unpleasantly under the weight of his body, contributing to his final awakening.

This was a dream. She wasn't real. Ashlyn... wasn't real.

He couldn't save her even in his wildest dreams. He wanted, really wanted to rush to her, but his feet were pinned firmly to the floor. He tried to scream, but the words were only a silent cry with no meaning.

Everything around him was falling apart, and he realized that this perfect picture, that moment of happiness, was only an illusion created by his tired mind.

He lost her again.

— Ashlyn.. — he whispered, but the answer was silence. A silence that pressed down on him like a heavy stone.

Ellie fans, I’m sorry, no I’m not, but I’m coming for your girl. But let me start by saying, I LOVE a villain. Especially a bad ass female villain. That’s why I like Fiore and Riya. But Ellie… is not bad ass. She’s just plain petty 😶 and, listen, petty villains have their place in my heart too. But Ellie is not just petty but also spiteful. For no reason .-. And yeah, yeah, I know she needs money, she’s relatable, you would do the same for a million dollars, blah blah shut it >_> Now, let’s begin with Jake ☺️

Now, imma just say, I love Jake, I’ve been team Jake since season 1, but I’m not gonna deny that Jake is annoying. He is sometimes 🤷🏻‍♂️ but he does not deserve the fuckin… psychological torture by Ellie ._. Y’all love to say JAKE is petty and obsessive but ELLIE is the one who’s pissy at Jake for being, RIGHTFULLY, upset for ruining his relationship 😶 and it looks to me like she’s been like that… the whole time? .-. Last episode, episode 6, She made Tom and Aiden kiss for NO reason other than to fuck with Jake ._. Like, she says that verbatim 😶 Her exact words are “I suggested the idea of the kiss, but the reasoning we just made up. This might be evil, but I can’t pass up the opportunity to see Jake lose his mind again. Hey, with no tv out here, it’s the next best thing.” Like, girl! This is… just ridiculous ._. What did Jake do to you? Rightfully get angry at you for betraying his trust and completely ruining his relationship? Not even Season One Grett would stoop this low 😶

And THEN, in episode 7, the latest episode so spoilers sorry, she again uses Tom and Aiden just to fuck with Jake .-. Granted, this one gets half of a pass because it WAS an actual game move and it worked out 🤷🏻‍♂️ But was it necessary? Mm. Debatable. Speaking of unnecessary. Let’s talk Tom 😊

Ellie dislikes Tom. For what reason? I couldn’t tell ya 😶 SHE fucked HIM over, SHE trash talked HIM on national TV. Not the other way around .-. Why is SHE mad at HIM ._. And why is she surprised that Tom is generous? He was a great guy, all things considered, in season 1 .-. Know what it smells like to me? ✨Projection✨. SHE’S gonna use the money for self fulfilling reasons, so of course everyone else is too 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think Ellie can dish it but she can’t take it, know what I mean? She can trash talk Jake, Tom, Miriam, AND Alec and that’s fine, she needed the money 🤷🏻‍♀️, but if any of those people are angry at her for the things she said? All hell breaks loose 😶 You can dislike Riya, but at least she owns her mess 😊 She knows she’s a villain and she owns it. Now, let’s talk about Gabellie. They’re very cute :3 I like them together, they’re sweet. However… Ellie, Gabby is your ONLY friend and only true ally. She HAS Tess… but like she also doesn’t, Tess could be swayed by Aiden, I feel, and especially could be swayed by Ally if they both make the merge. Ellie’s only guaranteed number is Gabby right now. So, what does Ellie do for her only ally, and, y’know, her girlfriend? Lie to her 😶 Now, listen, I understand lying to Tess, Aiden, and Tom about the villain alliance. That’s just smart gameplay 🤷🏻‍♂️ But lying to Gabby? No .-. Pull her to the side and tell her the truth 😶 Show that you trust her >_> because it’s very clear that Gabby adores Ellie with all of her heart, she wouldn’t have said a word 😊 but no 😶 Ellie lied to her. And now Gabby knows Ellie lied to her. And now Gabby could very well turn on Ellie because if she lied about the villain alliance, what else could she lie to her about ya know?

In conclusion: Ellie is a try hard villain 😶 She wants to be Fiore, Season 1 Grett, and Riya so bad and it’s embarrassing 😊
