Every year, we have the honor of certifying a new group of yoga teachers to teach SUP yoga...a crew of likeminded, strong individuals whose souls belong to the outdoors. We feel such a kinship with these teachers each year. There is something about being in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, spending hours working hard in the sunshine, and being vulnerable with new challenges...it creates the strongest of bonds. I'm hilarious. No, like truly hilarious. The moment I make someone laugh I feel like I can kill 10,000 men and I feel so incredibly alive. 

I'm very caring and I put people first, but I've learned not to let their needs overpower mine. It's taken me awhile to find some form of balance, but I recognize my worth and I recognize that my needs are important too all the while I care for the needs of others.

I'm smart. I've always been textbook smart like honors classes, GATE, principal's honor roll, AP courses, dean's list, like you name it I was probably good at it, but thanks to community college and the experiences I had while I was able to stay at home my first few years of college, I've become very aware of my surroundings. I've become very socially conscious and it's so nice to be smart in other ways than just acing exams.

I really like my face. My parents ask me where I got my nose from because it's a bit rounder than theirs, but I love it. I love my eyes even though I wear glasses, but they're the loveliest brown. I love my lips because they're plump, but not overbearing. I love my freckles and how they decorate my face. While we're at it, I love my hair and I'm glad I've finally embraced it's natural curly form. 

I love myself as a whole. Maybe this was supposed to be difficult and maybe I was supposed to only think of 3 and struggle with 4 and 5, but I love everything about myself. I love the person I've become. I love my face. I love my body. I love how passionate, strong willed, witty, kind hearted, warm, intelligent, independent, accepting/loving, and funny I am. I love how family oriented and fiercely loyal I am. I love myself and it's so incredibly liberating.

absolutely but it's obviously outdated because that stuff really happens now which is probably why so many ppl don't know it's supposed to be a satire
