i wish -genic labels weren’t such an important thing in the plural community

like yeah our system formed bc of trauma. it maybe also formed because of neurodivergence because being autistic is, imo, inherently traumatizing in modern society

yes we are traumagenic but are we multigenic? autigenic?

…BUT not all of our headmates were created because of trauma. some were just created bc we needed a guy for a job. some were also created on purpose- ex, forming someone’s sourcemates/partners???? and some also just showed up!! for no reason!!!!

are those specific headmates endogenic? willowgenic??? one of our sidesystems calls themselves traumawillow because they like the term, what does that make the other ones??

it’s so odd and complex and i wish the community wasn’t so label oriented :/ like obviously use the labels you like!!! but i wish we could just be plural without people, other plurals even, asking why, yk?

I don’t think they’ve ever done that before!! I love when they add onto the existing portal logic with new fine details such as these :D I have always loved that stuff. That one scene from S2E2 has fascinated me forever

I counted it and on my end, Rick’s portal stayed open for 15 seconds total!

….THATS SO COOL !!! It’s a number that convinces me the portals were specifically programed to stay open for only 15 seconds if an expected interaction with the portal doesn’t happen in time!

Now about Dan Harmon saying that Prime was the first Rick to truly invent/perfect inter-dimensional portal travel….

Tenho andado distante deste hellsite (affectionate) porque tenho estado super ocupada com merdas e cenas que podem ou não ter a ver com as eleições que estão a decorrer. Nem vos digo com que partido fiz campanha (é de esquerda, obviamente), mas venho apelar-vos a que votem se ainda não o fizeram.

Votem LIVRE, votem BE, votem PCP, votem no caralho que vos foda desde que seja à esquerda. Não fiquem em casa. Ficar em casa é deixar a escolha para os outros. E eu ainda acredito que existe uma maioria sociológica de esquerda neste país. Uma esquerda diversa, um esquerda descontente ao ponto de não levantar o cu para votar, para muitos uma esquerda muito branda, uma esquerda que não berra na rua por mais direitos, uma esquerda que às vezes é mais centro do que esquerda, mas ainda assim esquerda. Esquerda que enche as ruas no 25 de Abril, no 1º de Maio, no Pride e em muitos outros momentos.

Perdoo que alguns de vocês votem PS nas legislativas (com mais ou menos dificuldade dependendo do vosso contexto), mas não caiam na conversa do voto útil - a democracia não se faz sem partidos políticos, e os bons partidos políticos (normalmente mais pequenos) precisam de subvenções para sobreviver e fazer o trabalho que precisam de fazer nas ruas. E elas dependem do número de votos que recebem. Se vocês não conseguem ver muitos cartazes e ações de campanha de determinados partidos nas cidades que vos rodeiam, muito provavelmente é porque o orçamento é curto (sei do que falo). Para além da subvenção, à esquerda (pelo menos BE e LIVRE. E PAN, mas o PAN é uma coisa esquisita do "centro progressista" seja lá o que isso for) também defendemos a criação de um círculo de compensação, porque sabemos que uma percentagem enorme de votos neste país não servem para eleger ninguém. Mesmo que vos pareça inútil, votar num partido que não elege no vosso distrito também manda um sinal político. Digo-vos isto como alguém que vota num distrito que em 2024 só elegeu PS, PSD e fachos e ainda assim ando aqui a ocupar uma parte bem grande do meu tempo com um partido que nem sei se vai eleger aqui. Vale a pena lutar, vale a pena mostrar às pessoas que existimos e batalhamos.

Anyway, eu acho que estou tipo "preaching to the choir" porque a maior parte dos tugas aqui votam e votam à esquerda. Mas vale sempre a pena o apelo. Vão votar senão vou pessoalmente ficar chateada convosco <3

Before realizing that HLVRAI was actually played in G-mod, I assumed it was a real Half-Life VR mod so I decided to look it up and turns out there is indeed a VR mod for the first Half-Life (there's also one for Half-Life 2). It's free on Steam so I decided to play it and just now beat it. Which I wasn't initially entirely sure I would do, I just wanted to check it out, but I was enjoying it so I kept going even through the jank.

Despite my enjoyment of it, it was the most nauseating VR experience I've ever played. I had to quit a couple game sessions early because of it.

It did do one thing I actually ended up quite liking though; it let me just walk around with the left stick. Which isn't the most comfortable way of moving but it's convenient when trying to only move a little bit and it helps a lot in combat since I don't have physically turn my head to move backwards.

And I got to touch the G-man and stick my finger in his mouth when he was talking. Which I also did to the scientists and Barneys. And whacking headcrabs out of the air with the crowbar as they jumped at me was divine. Also, with the teleport, getting off the ladders was much easier as was platforming and I got to cheese fall damage occasionally and straight up skipped part of the teleportation portion of the game, which was nice. So overall, I liked it a lot. I recommend it if you're into VR and aren't prone to VR motion sickness.
