Hello.

I want you to listen. Don’t scroll away because of the buzz word ‘Lando’.

Listen.

This has gone beyond hate for Lando. This about all the drivers.

This is about treating drivers respectfully. This is about your parasocial relationships with the drivers. This is about you reading into everything they say.

This is about the F1 media taking clips out of context because they don’t want a race they want a drama.

This is about you taking those clips and not bothering to find the original source, and taking it to fuel a hatred for someone you don’t know.

This is about you hating on a new driver because you miss the old one.

This is about you sending hate to fans of a driver you don’t like.

When I dislike something I scroll- I ignore, because it’s not worth my time. Why should I let the social media algorithm think I like the video because I watch it? I block a person I dislike. I don’t go onto their account and spend time out of my life to comment.

But unfortunately the amount of hate I’m seeing it’s getting hard to ignore it.

Haters and fans. Opposite end of the spectrum, still on the same spectrum.

You’re still thinking about the guy you supposedly hate. You talk about him under other driver related posts, you make it your entire personality.

You make it toxic.

The difference in drivers is what makes the sport fun. I’m friends with people who have other favourite drivers. What we do is we talk about the race. We talk about how their driver did really well and what mine could’ve done better. We have fun.

Because it’s the sport that bonds us.

I don’t send death threats to them. People have become so obsessed with other peoples lives and it shows.

A driver can’t say he feels lonely without getting jumped on for it. A driver gets asked his opinion after a high adrenaline race, one he feels he didn’t do well and he sounds a little bitter. Of course he’s going to. Yet you read into it.

He celebrates and you read into it.

And then dislike them when they decide not to do anything anymore.

You criticise them for the mistakes they’ve already owned up to and refuse to even acknowledge the good they’ve achieved.

New fans get scared to join because they worry everyone will hate them. Which kills the sport in turn.

Lando. Max. Every single driver on the grid do not know you. And you do not know them. You know of them. You do not know them.

You do not know what they do or who they are the moment they’re away from the cameras.

You do not need to like a driver. Nor do you need to dislike them. I don’t dislike drivers, I just have drivers I favour a bit more than others. Because why would I hate them?

I dislike some of the things they do- during the race. Of course. I’m bitter after a race doesn’t go well. I’m a fan of the sport.

But that’s as far as it goes.

I do not care for their personal life as it’s theirs, nor do I care for what minuscule thing they’ve done.

If you don’t feel called out, then good- I’m not talking about you. You’re the good ones. If you are feeling ‘attacked�� then perhaps it’s time to rethink what you want to spend limited time, that is your life, on.

We only have so many minutes in our lives to actually live. So live it. Don’t spend it on hating on others.

I think, in the current state of Exandria, the new age we witnessed the birth of, Brennan is giving us that "what comes next". Divinity is not gone, Lieve'tel still performed her miracle. But I think the lesson from divergence, where the gods left the face of Exandria, is that divinity comes from people, mortals. And it always has. The gods get their power from worship. They'd be nothing without their people. So in the absence of them, then and now, stories will be told of reclaiming and rebuilding. Mortals will understand they are divinity. And that together, their power is as limitless as the gods they said goodbye to.

Wonderwall: What made it?

Thoughts and theories

Wonderwall was Liam and Noel's little piece of joy amid a really hostile house. Both Peggy and Liam have mentioned their "wonderwall", a place in Liam and Noel's childhood room (before they moved into the council house, so while Tommy was there) where they could put up posters, write things, use the space as if it was theirs. Later, the wall got wall papered over. But during the worst years of their childhoods, being able to control something and escape to somewhere (in this case a wall) was what saved Noel and Liam.

"I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now" Noel your fear of your feelings and thoughts being different and weird is showing.

That song isn't about a bird, or Meg, its about safety and comfort. It's about Liam being his safety and comfort. It's about Noel needing more than what Liam can give - what anyone can give - and feeling lost (suicidal, even? I'm thinking about how Noel described feeling after the 1994 Whiskey A Go-go gig, which was probably around when he wrote Wonderwall. Those were dark times for him, and just maybe Liam, their childhood, that comfort and safety, just maybe he felt that could save him).

"There are many things that I would like to say to you, but I don't know how" So he puts it into a song for his little brother to sing!

So maybe Wonderwall isn't a love song at all. At least it's not a selfless love. The narrator in Wonderwall is pushing - no, begging - whoever they're speaking about to save them. It's a call for help but it's not one that is emotionally easy on the subject, it's a guilt trip pushing someone to be the narrator's savior. Though Liam is often the one portrayed as emotionally needy, Noel has his less obvious moments. He's just better at hiding it - until it comes out in a song, or in a moment of jealousy fueled tension on stage at Loch Lomond, or in big explosive fights. All that repression comes back in songs praying for help from someone who suffered alongside you.

"By now you should've somehow realized what you've got to do" feels to me like another call for help; you are meant to be my savior, surely you see it too. Save me. But then "By now you should've somehow realized what you're not to do" makes me think it's not about that at all, but it's about something else. Something that he wants to do, or wants the subject to do, or knows the subject has to do. Maybe it's about being a rockstar; you know how to be famous, here are the rules. The cost is sanity though, so please save me now. Maybe its even less than that, maybe its being brothers; you and I know where the boundaries are. Save me because as my brother you are supposed to. After all, you're my wonderwall.

i don’t usually do death readings, but this one feels special because one direction has always held a significant place in my heart. i’ve also been interested in conspiracy readings, so i thought i’d give it a try and see what comes thru. check out my liam's astro chart and his death analysis!

it seems that liam payne was alone when this happened. he may have been isolated, keeping to himself while enjoying his success. he might have felt comfortable but still distanced from others. i get really detached energy from him. i’m unsure whether his girlfriend was with him the whole time, but i believe he was reflecting on his career and how far he’d come before his passing. despite his success, i feel he was lonely, unable to rely on others, which caused him to build walls around himself. liam likely struggled with asking for help when it was truly needed, and he may have neglected certain aspects of his life as a result. it seems that what happened was impulsive, a mistake that he didn’t fully understand the consequences of. it appears to have been a rash decision, not premeditated. i don’t think liam intended for it to end like this; rather, he may not have realized the dangers around him, leading to this tragic event. he was likely battling internal and external conflicts—possibly even arguing with someone before it happened. there was tension and conflict, both within himself and with others, which escalated leading to his final decision. it all unfolded so quickly that there was no time for him to react. i wonder if liam received some kind of message that triggered this event. something shifted suddenly, and it was out of his control. 

liam craved recognition and validation, but i feel he didn’t get the approval he desired. despite his efforts to maintain a successful and positive image, the pressure was overwhelming. this need for external validation might have contributed to his struggles. i believe liam may have been under the influence of substances at the time. while i’m not sure if he had addictions, he was likely struggling with unhealthy habits or toxic relationships. he may have been self-sabotaging and caught in a destructive mindset, feeling trapped in a cycle of poor choices and unhealthy relationships. there’s a sense of control—either from others or from his own demons—that made him feel suffocated. liam was frustrated, assessing his life and feeling dissatisfied with how slow things were progressing. he wondered if all his hard work was worth it, feeling unrewarded and underappreciated. he pushed himself too hard but gave up too soon when things didn’t pay off. it seems he received some information that shifted everything for him, playing a role in what happened. he may have learned something life-altering that caused his decision. he was obsessed with perfecting his craft and overworked himself, neglecting other parts of his life to the point of being consumed by it. he took on too much, refusing to slow down or ask for help. liam hoped for peace and healing, perhaps even looking for a way out. at some point, he became emotionally vulnerable, hoping things would change. but despite his faith, it wasn’t enough to protect him. ultimately, liam was carrying far too many burdens. he felt weighed down by responsibilities, exhausted emotionally, physically, and mentally. he was struggling to manage it all on his own, and it became too much. he felt he had no one to turn to, burdened by others’ expectations and trying to live up to an image that wasn’t truly him. ultimately, it seems he was just too mentally drained, and this was the only way out he saw.
