I've felt like a bad cat mom lately because I've had to manage my time differently and spend a little less with my kitty. I've also introduced my partner's dog into the mix and feel bad that Robbie (my cat) hides in the room when the dog is over. So, last night I did my own reading to see Robbie's perspective on everything happening. After I did that, I thought it'd be nice to do a reading here! A couple turned out to be more advice from your pet, but I think those that came out that way still feel like messages from them :)

Your pet feels your internal struggle (like pet empathy lol) and wants to remind you to take your time. Just as they live their lives by the minute, just going with the flow, they want you to do the same. Slow but steady wins the race, they say. (Okay, this is the second time I pictured a turtle in this reading, I really hope some of you have one!). Investing in yourself, your interests, YOUR greater good is going to bring the long term success you’re looking for – including in relationships. Jut apologised to Beau and made good headway on reducing her resistance, but it looks like the rest of the recruitment process will be left in Ivy's capable hands after all.

Poor boy was nearly collapsed from deathrest exhaustion, so he's earned himself a nice long nap.

Despite a plethora of small, easily-hunted animals on the map, this wild kitsune decided to target the armed psycaster who's had several of his edible body parts replaced by bionics. Needless to say, Mechi won the fight, but rescued the little guy to see if we could tame him. It'd be fun to have a cutie like this prancing around the castle!

Bloody lizard people don't know when to quit. Luckily, Alistair is well-prepared. I think he got this orbital bombardment targeter from the same deserter he got his armour from (the armour that I never draw lmao), but it might have also been a gift from Arwell or Arno at some point. I'm not 100% sure.

Was hit with the creative burst of “I’m not good at telling stories. If I ever want tell a big one that isn’t dogwater, I need to practice.” So for babies first practice, I spit out a comic. It’s messy on purpose, and very simple, but I like how it turned out!

I made this with the thought in mind that if I make more comics in the future, this is the one I’d want to go back to and redo someday with better paneling skills and ideas. Maybe even… words!!! However, It may just be a one-off thing forever.

ONE: ok guys here’s an arc about mob, in his growth as a person, being confronted with an ideology he’s unfamiliar with, and he has to learn from it but also understand why it’s unhealthy and bad to properly grow from it and choose kindness in the end, albeit in a more nuanced way than before, and this will make mob more able to confront later problems in the season that can’t be solved with mere kindness and require a deep understanding of loneliness and solitude, something he hasn’t had much room to speak on until now. To express mob being shown this villain’s ideology we have a sequence where we see how mogami views the world and by extension how he sees mob, by putting mob in the kind of sad fucked up world he thinks exists, but mob will overcome it with the knowledge that in the real world he has people he cares about and that even the people who make the world bad sometimes can change and nobody is a static evil and kindness and courage when you’re going through hardship goes a long way. despite the darkness this is ultimately a very uplifting experience for him and a show that life is always more than its darkest moments, and also how picking yourself up instead of wallowing in your own suffering and trauma is hard but a very courageous act and what makes mob stronger than mogami

It's been about a month since I last discussed the zora-situation, and I just wanted to thank y'all for having been so supportive and understanding during that time! (And to give y'all a happy update!)

Though what happened was incredibly emotional and stressful to me, and I found myself conflicted with things that had been said and done, I've been missing Kenne. Kenne the fish, not Kenne as in me... this isn't me dramatically staring into a mirror, my hand touching my reflection's hand, saying I miss myself. This is about Kenne, the sparkly whale shark.

To keep things short, after what happened, trying to think about anything zora-wise, outside of Sidlink, was incredibly painful. Not only emotionally, but I'm STILL finding clumps of hair that fell out during that time.

But thanks to my homie @cassielsunstone for being a fuckin CHAMP, I've been EXCITED to engage with Kenne again. Yes, she is still a deeply personal character to me, and through this situation, I've been able to reassess what I want her story to be, and I'm excited about the changes I've come up with! (And thank you to Cassiel for being excited for it too! And for listening and engaging with my ideas without needing a co-writer's credit haha.)

Anyways, keep one eye open! Cause if you're not paying attention, Kenne MAY just wack you over a railing with her tail! (Again, the zora, not me. Well, okay, maybe me. I have accidentally knocked someone over with my ass before.)

Cole in Dragon Age Inquisitor is definitely Autistic, it's not even coded subtext or anything. It's staring you in the face.

Yet the way characters & the game itself treat him made me extremely uncomfortable. Calling him by "it" or telling him to "speak normally" and "act normal" How his stims and speech difficulties are met with annoyance. You can't even excuse it with "oh they're doing this bc he is a spirit" since when others loudly condemn him, it's usually because he's presenting very common traits of autism, rarely does it happen bc of his intrusive spirit powers.

It's sickening. How was this allowed? Even Sera's behaviour gets scrutinised a lot and described as "loony" God forbid neurodivergent characters get a speck of the taken-for-granted respect every other character gets. Common decency? Decorum? Why offer that to people different than you when you can just reassure the player that it's a very good thing to tell people who act "weird" to "just be normal"
