I feel like my jewelry has a butch feel. I keep seeing the term butch from some of my trans-men/masc friends & mutual and it felt familiar, but not fully. I could not understand why. But then I hit it me. My art is butch in all the ways. In all the forms.

Like my jewelry and leather I make is very butch. But it’s also a part of me. My work. And just a part not a whole cuz I have sections that borane to make a whole me. And I love that

Hoja Oscura jewellery set, with a necklace and earrings. The name means “dark leaf 🍁 “ in Spanish. The focal piece is a real leaf stripped down to the vascular system and electroplated in metal with a peacock dark rainbow sheen. The rest of the set uses dark seed beads and crystals in the dark metallic peacock 🦚 colour to complement the leaf.
