i love this little brother-in-law ship so much… so mickey and carl are the video game dream-team and it drives ian crazy…

when carl was younger, he hustled the shit out of mickey once when they were playing a game. he pretended he had no idea what he was doing and then creamed mickey completely, which mickey of course respected the hell out of. ever since then, they would team-up all the time and would absolutely destroy lip and ian in pretty much any video-game ever.

now when carl comes over, he and mickey play and they beg ian to, taunting the shit out of him…

Carl becomes the cop of the Southside who everyone knows to be fair and reliable. A staple of the community. (maybe settles down with Tish and becomes a family man)

Mickey finds out one of his cousins had a baby and was not taking care of it, and he immediately brings it home to his husband, no questions asked. They are the best dads. When they get enough money to stop worrying all the time, they ditch the van and find legal jobs that are fulfilling and pay the bills. (personally, I love Tattoo Artist Mickey and Nurse Ian)

Mandy Milkovich finds a guy who is kind and smart and loves her to death. She keeps in contact with her favorite brother and is the coolest aunt.

Lip founds his own tech company because he's smarter and more cunning than any of those trust fund assholes. His kids never have to worry where their next meal is going to come from, or how drunk their dad is. They (and Liam) never consider for a moment that college is not an option for them, their parents support them every time. He and Tami get married and live happily ever after.

Debbie hits rock bottom for real (jail time, Franny was placed with her uncles, no love and no money) before realizing she cannot keep chasing danger and that her kid deserves not only unconditional love but also stability and attention. She reconnects with Sandy and starts a flipping houses business. She calls Fiona for advice because she realizes she's following Fiona's footsteps without meaning to. She figures it out eventually, she's still young.

Kermit and Tommi spent the next few years dancing around each other in the bar until finally becoming the new hit couple of the southside. (seriously, i don't know how there are only 2 fics of them on ao3)

Fiona calls one of her siblings every week. She and Liam text every day. She comes home every Christmas. She gets married and divorced at least one more time. Maybe has a boyfriend tragically die. She keeps failing and getting back up. But she has a house that is hers with a window that overlooks the sea. She saves every penny she makes without fear that someone will take it away. She makes smarter decisions every time and builds a life she is proud of.

The Gallaghers have family dinner every week, no matter what.
