PSA (Public Service Announcement)
A company that made pet microchips has gone out of business, and their database of owners is no longer accessible.
If your pet has been chipped, check to see who the manufacturer is. If it was made/listed by Save This Life, you can register the chip with a different database.

Pet ID Microchips Market to Prosper Owing to Increasing Adoption of Pets
The pet ID microchips market has been gaining significant prominence over the years. Pet ID microchips are very small injectable microchips that provide permanent ID for pets. They contain a unique ID number that enables veterinarians and animal shelters to scan for this number which helps in the identification and return of lost pets to their owners. The growing humanization of pets and rising pet ownership across the world have resulted in increased spending on pet care products and services. This has boosted the demand for pet ID microchips for effective identification of pets.
Global Pet ID Microchips Market is estimated to be valued at USD 96.4 Mn in 2024 and is expected to reach USD 142.8 Mn by 2031, exhibiting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.8% from 2024 to 2031.
Key Takeaways Key players operating in the pet ID microchips are Avid Identification Systems, Inc., Animalcare Group Plc, Datamars SA, Elanco Animal Health, Inc., HomeAgain, Merck Co., Inc., Microchip4solutions Inc., Pethealth, Inc. The key players are focused on new product development and geographic expansion to gain higher market share. The growing awareness regarding benefits of pet ID microchips such as ease of identification and permanent identification is expected to create significant opportunities for market players. Also, increasing incidence of lost pets and growing initiatives by animal welfare organizations to promote microchipping will boost market opportunities. North America dominates the global Pet ID Microchips Market Growth  owing to high pet adoption and growing importance given to pet safety and security. However, Asia Pacific is expected to grow at a high CAGR during the forecast period with increasing pet ownership in countries like India and China and improved access to microchipping services. Market Drivers Rising incidence of lost pets is a major driver for the pet ID microchips market. According to various studies, around 10 million dogs and cats go missing in the US every year. Microchips help in quick and easy identification of lost pets and reuniting them with their owners. Pet ID Microchips Market Size and Trends reduces financial and emotional burden on pet owners. As microchips provide permanent ID for pets, their adoption is increasing significantly among pet owners globally.
PEST Analysis Political: The government regulations related toanimal welfareand control of disease spreading drive the demand for ID microchipsfor pets. Strict rules mandate the identification ofpet animals. Economic: Rising disposable incomes and growing pet humanization trend fuel the demand for advanced pet care services including ID microchipping. Individual pet owner's spending on pet wellbeing has increased. Social: Owners opt for ID microchips for pets as a safety measureto promptly identify lost or stolen pets and help in their return.Microchipping aids in efficient health management of pets. Technological: Advancements in microchip design and associated reading devices have made ID microchipping smaller, easy to implant and scanning process more convenient.Mobile apps aid prompt identification oflost pets. Geographical regions with high market concentration North America accounts for the major share of the global pet ID microchips market owing to favorable government regulations, growing pet population, and high per capita pet care expenditure in the US and Canada. Europe is another prominent regional market driven by rising pet humanization trend as well as presence of leading market players in the region. Fastest growing region Asia Pacific region is expected to witness the highest growth in the pet ID microchips market during the forecast period owing to increasing pet adoption, growing awareness about pet ID microchips, and strengthening economies supporting greater pet care spending in countries like India and China.

Out of all the members of the Chaos Council I feel this one, the leader, is the main one you should worry about since he has such a grip on you.
Going based on the HC I've used for two other members of the council, by default he may be the member most obsessed with you.
He is a power hungry tyrant just like the rest of the Council.
Mr. Dr. Eggman is also the member with the most similarities to Eggman, so whatever connection you had with Eggman before the Shatterverse you'll have it with him more than the others.
Unfortunately.
Strategic... vain... and serious, he is just about as sadistic as your typical Eggman.
However he surprisingly expresses a small amount of compassion and mercy which is strange.
Yet luckily that will help you out in the long run as you can tolerate and appeal to him more.
As usual you are a servant to the Chaos Council.
Still very much not by choice.
This time around their leader is the most fond of you.
He's oddly less... demanding than all the other members.
Don't get me wrong, MD. Eggman still wants your attention, but he allows more free time than the others.
You could say it's because it's his way of having more control over you.
After all... if you like him more then you'll listen to him more.
MD. Eggman no doubt feels appealing to you can get you to appeal to him.
Sure, you serve the Chaos Council as a whole...
But do you care for any of the others?
After all... MD does more than the rest, doesn't he?
His more merciful side isn't showed to many, mostly just you because he knows it can get you to obediently crawl back to him.
He orders all the others around, but when he's alone he likes to have you to himself.
The others no doubt complain that he gets you so often.
But he's the leader!
That's how it's meant to be, yeah?
Any privileges he gives you he can easily take away.
The reason I say he's someone you should be worried about is because if you misbehave he can easily convince the other members to deal with you.
After all... they like you too.
They'll gladly listen and hunt you down again.
Even if it means it just plops you into MD's lap again...
But why should you fight him anyways?
He'll allow you (mostly) free reign over the base.
Just as long as you come back to him when he orders.
As much as you hate him, you have to admit you prefer him compared to the others.
Mostly due to the illusion of freedom he provides.
He provides affection to praise you, even if you don't like it when he holds or touches you.
You hate that he has so much control, the others lend a hand to keep you as theirs.
Things like sending robot guards or putting trackers on you...
You're Chaos Council property.
MD certainly suits you in a jumpsuit similar to his with the Chaos Council symbol on it, very similar to Eggman.
Plus it's microchipped!
It also has a speaker/microphone to talk to you!
He loves it when you serve him and always rewards you afterwards.
Honestly you feel like a pet at times.
He'll take praise from you but mostly just expects loyalty.
You should feel lucky.
None of the others can praise or appeal to you more than him!
He'll do whatever he can to show you're his.
Like decorate you and all that jazz with technology the Council has developed.
He can make your life paradise with them.
All he asks in return is your adoration and loyalty...
If you refuse... well he can surely find a way to drill that message in your head with a bit of punishment. Maybe something that shocks you.

♫ THIS WORLD - ATEEZ PLAYING DISTANTLY ♫
Have you ever wondered how to build the perfect human? Perhaps in the future this will be the new normal, microchips for humans, technology that wanders slightly too far down the uncanny valley, maybe even your pet dog will be replaced by a hologram. In this world this the reality. However, there is still good in the world, the last survivors of the apocalypse want their lives back.
SMASH!
The shrieking of glass shattering as the wind breezed through the back of a man’s jacket, falling gracefully from a 45 story building as the world buzzed around him, tearing off the suit he’d worn as a disguise. Security alarms screamed in the background as he slid a small mechanical device into his pocket. Landing with two feet on the ground, the feather falling device strapped to his ankles allowing him to hover to the ground gently.
“Another piece of evidence collected, delta. Over.” He held his palm over the winged ear piece in his ear, waiting for a response from the team controlling the mission, speeding away on the electric motorcycle he’d parked in an alleyway beside the building before anyone could trail him.
Sangyeon was probably the companies most competent agent, with equal intelligence and equal agility. He was a spy at times, some sort of ninja at others. He was richly adored by the women and men of the company due to his good looks and charm. He was closely watched at all times, to preserve his useful nature from danger or threat. Standing at the top of the agent food chain, he wore all black at all times, an unsuspecting item of headwear, ranging from motorcycle helmets to even stupid sunglasses that would profile everyone he passed that day.
“Hm, looks like you found another piece of the puzzle, delta.” You smile proudly at the man, lifting the digital helmet that was enclosed around his skull. He shook his head, revealing his messy hair that was only 2 or three shades darker than his sweet honey skin as he arrived in the base’s lab.
You had to admit, the way the suit he wore hugged his figure was probably one of the most attractive things you’ve made of a man. You’d designed his suit for him, every dimension of the suit was measured by you, built to blend in with everything he encountered. It hugged his biceps and wrapped his torso perfectly.
“What is it? It’s not one of the typical syringe mechanisms.” He observed the piece, handing the small card to you, flinching as it folded into an even smaller piece upon your touch.
“Well you know how a sim card works? For your hollophone, it’s just like that. This seems to be a device that can enter the brain straight through the ear canal, what’s scary about it, this device can be inserted without anyone noticing.” You present him a holographic demonstration, the white outline of a holographic human appearing as you slot the piece into the ear canal, watching lines wrap around the brain marking points and learning information.
“That’s terrifying.” He walked a circle around the lab table, observing the demonstration and then looking at you with a serious gaze as you closed the tab, the device falling to the table. “There could be thousands of these and we’d have no idea.”
“Luckily it seems like you’ve found a prototype. I doubt these are ready for full circulation yet. Considering the information it can learn is only basic level compared to the syringes.” You reassure the man, folding your arms over your lab coat and watching as the device was lasered under the table, destroying the feeble piece of technology immediately. “And, they seem to break pretty easily, one bit of head trauma and the occupier's brain would be fried meat.”
“I’m sure your next mission will be putting a stop to this line of production.” You sighed, looking over the boy whose life seemed to be always in danger being chased by government officials.
Tumblr media
—-🏍️—- A FEW HOURS EARLIER
“I’m telling you y/n. we’re running out of agents there’s no one else who could complete this mission but you. We simply don’t have the intelligence.” The head of the companies son looked at you with a voice of genuine concern, his eyes glinting in fear of their mission falling to pieces.
You were a lab technician, a developer, a philosopher of science, not an agent, not anyone capable of the stunts performed by the professionals that were amongst the companies agents such as Sangyeon Lee, delta.
“I don’t think I can, Younghoon. It’s too risky.” You bit your lip in anxiety, tearing the skin on the inside. As you thought through the idea and all the possible horrendous outcomes.
“Listen, it’s one mission. Sangyeon will be with you, I just need the intelligence, we have back up available. If you don’t pull through with this, the world will be over.” Not attempting to guilt trip you in anyway, Younghoon was simply stating what was true. If you didn’t sneak into the production lines of this human sim card, the world would be over.
“I’ll think about it, give me 12 hours.” If there wasn’t such a time crunch you would have said a few days, but you didn’t have that much time. That’s how fast technology moves now, in a world with no laws.
—-🏍️—-
Sangyeon peered over at you curiously, wondering what was on your mind as you paced the lab moving misplaced items and storing them away - your eyes black in deep thought, the wings of the headphones you wore frowning making it clear you were sad.
“What’s on your mind?” He asked, stepping behind a screen to change into regular clothes watching as you went to turn around but quickly turned back as you saw the bare top of his built shoulders.
“Younghoon asked me to do a mission.” You fiddled with the microscope on the counter, facing the wall for his privacy, even though he didn’t care at all at who was looking at him.
“Well, do it. After all, we don’t have enough intelligence left.” He simply shrugged off the worries, in his mind, you were completely competent enough to do the assignment and couldn’t understand your stress.
“Well, it’s not that simple. I’ll get myself killed. I’m not trained enough.” You turned around as the screen disappeared, Sangyeon now dressed in parachute bottoms and a well fitted black shirt leaned over the counter looking at you dubiously.
“Wellll, let’s start now. Here’s a gun.” He pulled a gun out of thin air making you flinch with sudden action as he smirked thinking of how adorable your reaction was.
“Absolutely not.” Your eyes widened, the wings of your ear piece sparking up in shock, as he chuckled to himself deviously.
“Well you’re gonna have to.” He smiled, asking you to hold out your palm as you accepted it, clutching it and being careful only to hover over the trigger gently.
He opened a target, a digital hologram of a human outline with a white sphere revolving in its chest where the heart was located. You got nervous as he placed himself behind you, feeling his breath over your neck as he leaned his arms over yours, placing his palms over your hand and correcting the posture.
“You want to close one eye to get the aim right, I’m sure you know those basics. Now, focus on the point and shoot.” With his words you made the shot, him not moving away from you for support as the sphere exploded and the target cleared.
The next hologram was a moving target, Sangyeon guided you to follow its movements but all you could think was how sensational his breath felt over your neck, how masculine his scent was and how strong his arms felt as they rested over yours.
Despite this, you followed the target, managing to land a critical hit on the hologram as it lit up green and cleared.
“You’re a natural, you’ll be fine y/n. I’ll be standing next to you the entire time.” He reassured you with a sweet smile, you smiled back being sure not to make eye contact as you recovered from his movements.
—-🏍️—-
The day of the mission had arrived, Younghoon was beyond relieved that you’d agreed, as he briefed the idea to you and Sangyeon. In this post apocalyptic world, it was up to you two to save the remaining members of society from being wiped out completely, and the pressure was certainly high.
You were about to set off, Sangyeon threw you a helmet, the piece of technology folding out as you brought it over your head. As you got on the back of his motorcycle, Younghoon stepped out and wished you well on the mission - being one of the most risky ones yet.
“Sangyeon I’m scared, I can’t lie.” You wrapped your arms around his torso cautiously, the anxiety soon to get the better of you.
“That’s not like you, y/n. I’m right beside you the entire time. We’ll do this and the world will return to normal. It’s delta for now too, you got that?” He chuckled, trying to make light of the situation. Tightening your grip around his waist before setting off into the night.
♫ STANDING NEXT TO YOU - JUNGKOOK PLAYING QUIETLY IN THE BACKGROUND ♫
The wind breezed past you both, the city lit up with dimly lit neon lights as you surpassed the highway to your destination. It was a skyscraper, surely more than 70 stories high, virtually not lit at all, disguised as a hotel but secretly a government base located on the higher floors.
“The floor we’re looking for is 62, it’s not accessible via the elevator and it would be too suspicious to enter through the main doors of the stairwell. So we will have to enter through the vent system located on floor 63 and go below.” Sangyeon’s stern briefing made you even more nervous than before, as you entered the elevator checking in your reservation to not make a scene on the lobby surveillance - disguising yourselves as a couple, checking into their hotel room for the night.
“Enjoy your stay.” The lady behind the counter wasn’t a real lady, but a piece of uncanny valley ai specialized to organize reservations no emotion or feeling behind it, however if you didn’t complete this mission, that would soon change.
Floor 63 had plenty of surveillance and if you were going to cut it, you had to be quick to destroy access to the programming and leave. There were currently no workers on the lower floors to your knowledge, however there was ai security designed to kill intruders at any cost.
“We can’t do this in time.” Sangyeon observed, moving one of the ceiling tiles, as you crawled through the ventilation system closely behind him. “There’s too much to do at such a high chance of risk.”
“Then what do we do?” You asked, panicking at his sudden change of mind as you peered down at the security bots pacing the lab floor.
“I’ll take out the bots, you grab the programme key and get into the database to shut everything down. Since you can get past the encryption. Then we set the floor a light.” He simply made a plan B on the spot, which he was known for doing, he did get told off for doing so but he always succeeded.
“I can but it will take a long time. What about the innocent people on the upper floors?” You asked thinking about the hotel guests
“I’ve got time, and there isn’t anyone on the top floors, there’s barely any of us left y/n. They’ve had 3 reservations today all on lower floors, the fire alarms are sure to go off.” He said this quickly, before springing to the floor taking cover from the bullets of the security bots and shooting their equipment out.
You carried out with your side of the mission, connecting yourself to harness and lowering down into the computer side of the base. A man with glasses turned around, working overtime on the sim project eyes wide as you pulled out a weapon and shot him down in his tracks.
You took over the computer as he was still logged in things were made simpler and you began deleting files. The database soon caught on however it was too late. You’d killed all the files containing research on the sim, before grabbing all the cases of sims stored in the cupboards and stuffing them into a duffel bag.
Soon the fire alarm sounded, that was your cue, Sangyeon ran into the room, a grenade in hand that would set off a fire and destroy everything left in the lab. He threw a device through the window that smashed the glass, before grabbing you and throwing the grenade at the nearest wall. A sinking feeling dwelled in your stomach as he fell with you in his arms out of the 62nd story.
Everything felt as if it was in slow motion as, Sangyeon looked at you in awe, activating his feather falling device a few feet early and bringing your face closer to his. He leaned in as you followed his movements, there was a slight scratch on his face where one of the bullets from the security bots had grazed his face. You gently brought your thumb across it as he smiled, the blood wiping away as you brought your lips to his. A spark of magic in such a dark world lit a flame, as you both landed on your feet and pulled away from each others embrace.
You’d saved the world together, you and an agent you’d grown fond over the days of dread. Maybe now, the world would get better, back to how it used to be before. Even if not…
“I’ll always be standing next to you darling.” Sangyeon smiled, pulling into you into his embrace once more before you both disappeared back into the night.
—-🏍️—-
a/n: well i kind of promised ally that i would make up for killing sangyeon off in the scream au, this is my apology and i’m so proud of how this turned out !! dedicated to my wonderful ally, my first friend on this platform, thank you for everything darling 🤍 hope you enjoyed <3?

Transiting Ceres enters Aquarius
Saturday, December 7, 2024 - Sunday, February 23, 2025
Caveat: this probably won't have much of a personal impact unless Ceres is prominent in your chart (closely in aspect to the Sun, the Moon, &/or an angle; possibly strong Virgo &/ or 6th House energy).
Ceres is going to be in “trigger” mode during this transit - it sets off things that the slower-moving planets (Jupiter and further out) are trying to bring about. In Aquarius she’s looking for innovations, looking to move Ceres areas along:
Procreative sexuality, parenting, children, family - technology to facilitate conception. Concern about how much time the kids spend on their devices. We encourage their individuality. Families of friends, and making friends with our families.
Child care, elder care, nurturing professions - automation and AI intruding into caring work. Progressive ideas (like, why not combine elder and child care?); maybe some more attention to online schooling.
Agriculture, gardening, growing cycles, food - not very fertile, alas for you green thumbs. Concerns with processed food and genetic engineering of food, and with “agribusiness.”
Concern for domesticated animals - maybe some pushing to microchip pets? Attention to those factory farms, wanting humane treatment for the animals.
Nothing too extreme coming up. Allow couple days or so on either side of these dates:
Sunday, December 8 - Friday, December 13:
Ceres/Aquarius conjunct Pluto/Aquarius, 0°24'
Ceres/Aquarius (0°57') sesquiquad Jupiter Rx/Gemini (15°57')
Ceres/Aquarius sextile North Node/Aries, trine South Node/Libra, 2°26'
Conjunctions are like planting seeds - the combination of the two energies, not so much what they do, if that makes any sense. We have some urge or some idea, but we don’t have all the information we need - or, what info we have, is faulty. It’s a really good idea, so hold that thought and be patient with it.
Friday, December 20 - Ceres/Aquarius opposite Mars Rx/ Leo, 4°51. “The holidays” are usually fraught enough without this opposition making it angrier! It will help if we try to be less insistent on having 100% our own way.
Saturday, December 28 - Ceres/Aquarius semi-sextile Sun/Capricorn, 7°58. Pretty mild, maybe a few post-holiday guilty feelings or guilt trips. It will pass.
Sunday, January 5 - Ceres/Aquarius (10°39') semi-square Mercury/Sagittarius (25°39'). Communication snafus, nothing too major.
Thursday, January 9 - Ceres/Aquarius trine Jupiter Rx/Gemini, 12°22'. Excellent for doing Ceres things on a big (Jupiter) scale, probably a lot of good ideas floating around. Grab one!
Friday, January 17 - Sunday, January 19:
Ceres/Aquarius (15°35') semi-square North Node/Aries, sesquiquad South Node/Libra (0°35')
Ceres/Aquarius semi-sextile Venus/Pisces, 15°50'
Ceres/Aquarius semi-sextile Mercury/Capricorn, 16°01'
Ceres/Aquarius semi-sextile Saturn/Pisces, 16°09'
Minor aspects, but unsettling ones. The big deal going on is the Venus-Saturn conjunction in Pisces, sextile Mercury/Capricorn - Ceres acts as a focal point for that. We worry about how that conjunction/sextile affects our “tribes” - there may be some conflict between traditional ways versus progressive ideas.
Thursday, January 30 - Ceres/Aquarius inconjunct Mars Rx/Cancer, 20°41'. More family/tribal difficulties and adjustments. Problems with hypersensitivity and coldness - with dishing it out, but not being able to take it. We have to respect others’ wishes about how much they want to be coddled.
Thursday, February 6 - Friday, February 14:
Ceres/Aquarius square Uranus/Taurus, 23°17'
Ceres/Aquarius sextile Eris/Aries, 24°28'
Ceres/Aquarius conjunct Mercury/Aquarius, 25°16'
Ceres/Aquarius conjunct Sun/Aquarius, 26°17’
Major things, flowing in to each other. Uranus gives us a nasty surprise, Eris helps us get angry about it, Mercury gives us ideas, and the Sun sets us on a new cycle of expression.
Thursday, February 20 - Ceres/Aquarius semi-sextile North Node/Pisces, inconjunct South Node/Virgo, 28°48’. The Nodes are now across the Pisces/Virgo axis. Ceres is trying to acclimate to this shift, leading up to their conjunction in May.

Yes, this is terrifying.
And also a really great analogy about how recent fast paced technology upgrades in entire public systems, while marketed as the best for all, can actually be a detriment to a society, if not completely debilitating, to minorities and those of low socioeconomic status and unknowingly impact entire future generational growth outcomes.
This can be seen with smart phones, for example. Phones have been around for decades. But the current average technological expectations for an average citizen is to obtain and use a smart device of some variation (which is essentially just a small computer). A technology that has only really been around for about a decade. And yet entire public systems have been changed and modified because of them.
You need to buy a bus or train ticket? There's an app for that, or you recharge your card online.
You need to pay a bill or access your money to pay for your kids lunch? There's an app for that. It's online.
You need to update your legal name or address or medical information, or licences? There's an app or it's online.
You need to stay informed of your child's events and school notices? There's an app for that. It's online.
You need to microchip your pet, or find a way to keep track of them incase they go missing? There's an app for that. Or it's online.
Now these things, in and of themselves are not bad things, they do create a beneficial form of alternative accessibility for day to day life things. It's what they also do as a side effect of their PERCEIVED ease of access for "everyone" that is problematic, and makes them also paradoxically unbeneficial, by eliminating the ease of access to other alternative options for the above daily doings and services.
You need to buy a transport ticket or recharge your card? You don't have a smart phone. The transport till/coin based machine is closed/broken more often due to staffing shortages or increased taskloads. In fact, who even has the right change or money on them in the event of some small emergency anymore? Would an attendant on the train checking tickets even take it, or just call you stupid (either in their head or out loud -body language doesn't lie) for not being "better prepared"?
You need to pay a bill or access money for your kids lunch? The invoice or energy statement came two days before the due date and three days after your last pay, because the postal systems deliver mail every second day now, because email in an app *exists*, but you couldn't access it due to a disability or because the internet cut out (again). Paying for it once you can withdraw your money is dependent on visiting a postal office or other public service processing centre for payment, but the postal office is closed on the days and hours you can access it due to to your working the hours you do, to pay for everything. And it's the same problem with licences and updating information, some of which have deadlines of seven to fourteen days, otherwise there's a fine, and with accessing a pets information if they go missing, and so so so many other public things.
You're more likely to get fined. And while the charge is somewhat negligible (depending on which side of the poverty line you sit, though many will straddle it for their entire lives), the blame and focus is put on you, not the inaccessibility.
"But it's so easy, it's all online" people say, to starving families who are debating buying food or paying the internet bill for the month, to homeless people who just had to trade their phone at the pawn shop to afford some food and a sleeping bag because their stuff got stolen or their car, which has no fuel or rego, got broken into last night.
"Just ask for an extension on the bill via the app or online (which is always getting remodelled or redesigned to keep things fReSH)" they say to a dyslexic and English as a second language person, or autistic adhder with light or colour sensory issues (who has verbal/audio processing delays and a panic attack from being overwhelmed from the painful electrical signal frequencies when calling the service line), or an elder (who has shaky hands and is struggling to speak and think clearly due to tiredness from yet another recent bout of COVID or the flu). An extension they're unlikely to receive because they missed the due date on the last two bills due to similar issues.
Limiting peoples equitable access options makes them fall more and more into areas where they need more and more help and societal care, but not everyone can access a friend or family member to help them with day to day things like accessing a digitised public system to get around, stay on top of their finances, access education.
(how many academic and even foundational education systems use the internet as the main focus to facilitate better educational outcomes for their students? Most, if not all of them, in some way shape or form. Because it's easy, and often assumed that everyone can access it easily. And it's the ones with priveged access to devices, whether that's school sites, staff, or students, that have increased likelihoods of better education outcomes, even if the effort put into the work and learning is at minimal or average pace. This in turn produces an average pace for maintaining an average educational status quo, even though so many of the students who are doing well, could do several times better if it wasn't quite so "easy". Brains get lazy with "easy", what's the point in searching for more information and unintentionally learning more about the world if your education targets have been met? If you've learnt how to use copy and paste and change enough words to avoid plagiarism or ChatGPT (because we learnt about plagiarism before fact checking) - but don't have to take the time to write it down, (which helps brains process information), and think or grow to learn that this is how we meet the criteria for learning. By finding ways to use the tools at hand, which is not bad in and of itself, but does have increasing follow on consequences of students who grow up into adults with comprehension and critical thinking skill issues.
Those who work hard and are naturally happy to learn and try to "better" themselves sometimes do not have the ease of access and resources to do so, because it's all online. Yes they could access content at school, at libraries, etc, but then the element of time and space becomes a variable, one a privileged student doesn't even think about. Transport to these places takes time and/or money. Minors do not have the same rights or freedoms adults do, such as prolonged absences from adult supervision or creating library accounts independently, for their safety and well-being, but the adults in their lives don't have the time or resources to allow their child to be anywhere but home, or sometimes work, with them. Many kids who have naturally wandering minds turn to books and trades and hobbies they can access. But the knowledge gained in these ways can be filled with holes and get stuck in the transference and communication to online based testing and education, they're not always a perfect fit, because the modality they're accessing is less intuitive, not as known and understood in how to beneficially navigate. The more familiar you are with a tool (and smart devices are easily 60 tools in one), the more likely you are to use it to some advantage. There's a learning curve. This is also why many elders struggle with recent technologies. They haven't had as much time or energy put into becoming familiar with commonalities between devices, haven't had as much opportunity for their brains to turn pathways into highways.
Naturally, due to related facets, we see internet literacy rates drop, because why wouldn't you believe there's a purple faced octopus living in a tree in Guatemala if a lot of internet pages have similar formats and writing styles, and the term "fact check" has not been foundationally learnt. Notice I said " learnt". Not taught. Because yes it is taught. But no where near enough to establish it as having been set in stone learnt and continually relearnt by our populace. If you do not finish school or go to do a degree, it is very likely you will not learn it at all. It is not deemed a serious educational focus until late high school or further down the road, and by then, people have got *habits*, which are just associations and actions repeated by certain variables and stimuli. Brains create procedural data to navigate realities and then it has to be overwritten/pruned, but during an age when many things have already been built upon the foundation of the procedural data, so entire procedural frameworks in a brain area undergo renovation. This is exhausting for the brain and for us. But technology advances make this a reality every few months to a year now, instead of a few years or decades. Is it any wonder so many are mentally exhausted, just from change change change? So again, we see another example of how equitable or ideological education does not currently feasibly exist to meet the needs of our reality (but ideology is what it is built on), because how many educators, realistically, are going to hunt down and access the same materials and content that isn't online required for a term, and give that to their students? That amount would fill their classrooms within a month, let alone an entire term or year of curriculum, which is built upon the previous month's or term's knowledge, if they are the type to care enough about their educational outcomes. The alternative would be to educate on how to use books and other various reference material from foundational levels, handing out text books and encouraging paper written theory, with mistakes (!shock horror!) and visible pathways and clues to seeing holes in a students understanding of educational content, without continual testing and re-testing, WHICH IS STRESSFUL AND DOESN'T REALLY TEST KNOWLEDGE GAINED BUT HOW WELL THEY SIT A TEST AND HAVE MEMORIZED CONTENT instead of comprehended it.
Writing essays, writing sentences, writing words or maths equations and procedures and theoretical concepts and showcasing science or art or language or musical knowledge, via recording their understanding in different ways like voice recording or designed posters, even from foundational levels (imagine a little kid explaining everything they know about clouds and developmentally indicating their knowledge via storytelling and making up narratives, something many do at that age) in ways that transfer from the mental to the physical takes practice and is adopted more intuitively the more ways it is encouraged to do in a way that flows with the individuals needs and available resource access, the more likely they are to grow in their educational development. But when the public system and the private sectors demand digitising education on a whole system scale, they create limitations in this physicalisation, because it's a hundred times harder to access and replace a smart device or computer than it is a book, an art or notepad, and a pencil or markers and paint. Teachers and parents and students alike are affected. AND THEN we're told to limit screen time. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDI....Anyway, I digress).
"It's so easy" they say.
No. It's easy For You. Others still need the balance of alternatives to turn to, and the folly of public perception is that moving technology speedily through systems in this way and at this pace, in the name of "progress" (a colonizers word) is equitable when realistically it's creating a greater divide. If more and more of a service or company's funding is going toward supporting online based services, that means more and more is being taken away from other avenues of customer service access. This has ripple effects of longer call waiting times, shorter staffing shifts/office hours, increased fines and debt collection being required (of which SOMEONE has to do the paid admin for, which restricts the funding even more), and increasingly limited ways to access ANY service or system as companies, and by follow on effect public services, compete with each other to adapt in order to stay relevant, be seen as progressive and in line with the "times".
All while the figureheads of these companies retain never before seen and ever increasing profits that rival Mount Everest in terms of scraping the sky (just wait until they pierce the bubble with that sharply inclining line).
My point here is, technology is reflective of culture and society. It's made by us for us, naturally it will reflect us in our systems. And the reflection keeps shattering for those of us who are not able to maintain the lights progression because the mirror we're using already has so many cracks and smears on it, it's made our fingers bleed. For the teleportation example above, the cracks and smears are empathy and social awareness. For my example, the cracks and smears are equitable access to daily services and products within our system via the technology we implement and use.
What's worse, is that the other people with the clean and flawless shiny new mirrors (privileged with new phones on a repeating periodic basis), look at us with scorn, pity or severely misguided notions or comments, for doing the best we can to hold our dirty mirrors ("outdated" devices"). Sometimes we don't even know why our mirrors look like that (aren't consciously aware of why we can't access a service or widely used system product with the device we have because we see more people like us in our daily lives than people who have shiny new devices) and feel shame, we believe in the personal failure we are repeatedly told we have (trickle down economics has done really well with the psychological aspects here - bad management skills, poor communication, sub par average intelligence and/or "common sense", problematic behaviours), when the failing is not personal, but systemic.
One could even argue, that, with the commonality of assumed knowledge and inequitable societal care, every deemed personal failure IS a systemic one.
So yes boomers, when you said smart devices are the problem these days, you were right, but only because you pushed this technology onto an already cracking society and then gaslit it to believe that caring about ourselves and each other was less important than the concept of personal ambition and "progress".
The teleportation mentioned in the in the above is a great way to describe how people turn a blind eye, play the blame game or willingly retreat away from related cognitive dissonance, due to seeing themselves outside of having accessibility issues because they CAN easily access all the services they need in the moment they need, via the privileges they have, and fail to notice the limitation of the customer service avenues or think the trade of "barely used" access options is reasonable. Even so far as to not have an active landline in their residence, or even have witnessed or thought about the location of a working and maintained payphone in their district.
But all it takes is a statewide internet outage, a broken or hacked or stolen phone, a sudden illness or accident, to make them just as vulnerable as the ones who they would label as "personal failures, so full of potential if only they could get those fingers clean".
Tell us, who, really, has the personal failing?
Because it's not them either. It's the system, one that has taken on a life of its own, a grotesque possessive ghoul of human hive mindedness that challenges ChatGPT for the top spot in everyday human horrors.
So many of us want to believe we live in the beginnings of an exciting sci-fi novel, but there's only so much to go before the likes of the Brave New World slaps us all back onto our freshly teleported arses, on top of a pile of clones and with no way to phone or even smoke signal home.
had a nightmare that i lived in a futuristic scifi city where teleportation had become the norm and replaced all other forms of transportation and one day i suddenly became aware that teleportation kills people and just creates a clone of them that thinks it's the same person and that if i ever teleported again i would die, and that every time one of my friends or family teleports they die, that i'm not even the original me, that all newborn babies live a few hours at most, until their first teleportation. but no one would believe me and treated me like i was crazy and my life was almost impossible without teleportation because there were no more roads connecting cities and all stairs and elevators had been removed so i couldnt get to my job or the grocery store or do pretty much anything. in the end i had to gaslight myself into just pretending the people around me weren't dying and the copies were really them because after all it's stupid to mourn someone standing right next to you isn't it? if you only spend a few hours with each iteration what meaning does it have?

Livestock and Pet Management Through Advanced RFID Microchips For Animal Identification
Tumblr media
Modern animal management faces unprecedented challenges in tracking, identifying, and monitoring livestock and pets across various environments. Whether you're a livestock farmer managing hundreds of cattle or a pet owner ensuring your companion's safety, the solution lies in cutting-edge RFID technology. RFID Microchips For Animal tracking have emerged as the definitive answer to these challenges, transforming traditional animal management practices into sophisticated, data-driven systems.
RFID Technology in Animal Applications
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) represents a breakthrough in animal identification systems. These sophisticated microchips utilize radio wave technology to store and transmit unique identification codes that can be instantly accessed through specialized scanning equipment. Unlike traditional identification methods, RFID Chip Animals systems provide permanent, tamper-proof identification that remains functional throughout an animal's entire lifetime.
The microchips themselves are remarkably small—typically the size of a grain of rice—and can be safely implanted subcutaneously or integrated into ear tags. Each chip contains a unique alphanumeric code that links directly to comprehensive databases containing vital animal information, from birth records to medical histories.
Mechanics of Modern Animal RFID Systems
Contemporary RFID animal tracking operates through interconnected components that create seamless data management ecosystems. When an RFID reader scans an animal's microchip, it instantly accesses stored information including breeding records, vaccination schedules, health monitoring data, and ownership details.
For livestock operations, this technology enables comprehensive lifecycle tracking from birth to market. Farmers can monitor breeding programs, track vaccination compliance, manage quarantine protocols, and maintain detailed health records. Pet applications focus on owner identification, medical histories, and rapid recovery services for lost animals.
The system's database integration allows real-time updates and remote access, enabling veterinarians, farmers, and pet owners to access critical information instantly, regardless of location.
Transformative Benefits of RFID Animal Identification
Enhanced Identification Capabilities: Modern RFID readers support multiple tag formats and coding systems, providing flexibility for diverse operational needs. This adaptability proves invaluable for large-scale operations managing various animal species or breeds.
Integrated Network Solutions: Each animal receives a unique digital identity that connects to internet-based platforms and e-commerce systems. This connectivity enables real-time monitoring, data sharing, and remote management capabilities that traditional identification methods cannot match.
Industry Standardization: Unified technical specifications ensure compatibility across different systems, regions, and industries. This standardization facilitates easier adoption, reduces implementation costs, and enables seamless data sharing between stakeholders.
Cross-Industry Integration: RFID technology integrates with other technological sectors, creating opportunities for expanded applications in agriculture, veterinary medicine, and animal welfare organizations.
Improved Traceability: Complete animal lifecycle documentation enhances food safety protocols, supports regulatory compliance, and provides consumers with transparency regarding animal welfare and product origins.

"Protecting Paws: How Engraved Dog Tags Secure Your Pet’s Identity and Safety"
In a world where pets have become beloved family members, their safety must be treated with the same urgency as any other loved one. Among the many accessories owners buy—stylish harnesses, cozy beds, gourmet treats—few hold as much practical importance as engraved dog tags. Far from being mere decorative charms, these tags are your dog’s first line of defense should they ever wander too far from home.
These simple yet powerful identifiers play a pivotal role in pet recovery, helping ensure a swift and stress-free reunion. In situations where every minute matters, a clearly marked tag can be the difference between prolonged worry and instant relief.
Tumblr media
The Irreplaceable Role of Engraved Dog Tags in Modern Pet Care
While technology continues to evolve—offering GPS trackers, microchips, and mobile alerts—nothing replaces the immediacy of a dog ID tag. A passerby can read it instantly. No apps, no batteries, no equipment—just a glance and a call.
An engraved tag often includes your pet’s name, your contact details, and increasingly, important medical notes. This ensures that even in your absence, someone finding your dog can understand their needs. Allergies, medications, or even behavioral warnings can be life-saving when engraved clearly.
A Personal Connection Through Dog Name Tags
A dog’s name is often the first gift they receive. It’s a reflection of their personality, your affection, and your bond. Displaying that name proudly on dog name tags adds more than familiarity—it provides comfort.
Imagine a lost pup, nervous and confused in a busy neighborhood. Seeing their name on a tag can be the calming factor that encourages someone to approach. In that moment, your dog becomes more than a stray—they become someone’s pet in need of help. That personal touch can guide a stranger to act compassionately and swiftly.
Form Meets Function: Durability in Design
Style doesn't have to sacrifice function. Today’s engraved dog tags are as beautiful as they are durable. Materials like stainless steel resist corrosion and wear, even for the most adventurous pups who splash through rivers or roll in muddy parks. Brass brings a vintage flair, while anodized aluminum offers bold color options without added weight.
Deep engraving ensures the information won’t fade over time. This permanence is vital, especially when you consider how easily printed or painted details can disappear with regular wear. The best tags are those that stand up to rough play and endless exploration without losing their clarity.
Fashion That Speaks for Your Pet
Pet fashion has exploded in recent years, with everything from themed collars to designer leashes gracing dog parks and Instagram feeds. But amidst this wave of trend-driven accessories, dog ID tags remain essential.
Modern pet tags strike a perfect balance between function and flair. Whether you're drawn to minimalist elegance or playful designs with paw prints and witty messages, the message remains clear: this pet is loved, this pet has a home, this pet needs to be returned safely.
Immediate Safety in Any Situation
A loose dog is every pet parent’s nightmare. Loud noises, open gates, or unexpected distractions can cause even the most obedient pet to run. That’s why having updated engraved dog tags is critical.
Unlike microchips, which require a scanner and a trip to a vet or shelter, tags offer instant answers. Anyone can read a phone number or address and act immediately. In those vital first moments after a pet goes missing, accessibility can make all the difference.
The Power of Simplicity in Dog ID Tags
Even with all the advances in pet safety technology, there's elegance in simplicity. Dog ID tags are reliable, resilient, and effective—requiring no maintenance or technical knowledge. They just work.
While GPS collars and apps may add extra layers of security, they also introduce dependencies. Batteries die. Apps crash. Hardware breaks. A classic engraved tag functions regardless of the weather, location, or tech availability. That simplicity brings peace of mind.
Responsibility Etched in Metal
Pet ownership comes with deep emotional bonds—and legal responsibilities. In the UK, it's a legal requirement that dogs in public wear identification that includes the owner's name and address. Ignoring this rule can result in fines, but more importantly, it puts your pet at risk.
Wearing a tag signals foresight. It shows you’re not only a loving pet parent but a responsible one. It's a visible commitment to your dog’s well-being, signaling to others that you care enough to be prepared.
Keep It Current, Keep Them Safe
One of the simplest ways to maintain your pet’s security is to keep their identification current. Moved homes? Switched phone numbers? Got a new vet? Update the tag.
It’s a minor chore with major consequences. Many services allow quick customization and preview options, so there’s no guesswork. In just a few clicks, you can ensure that your dog is never without their most essential accessory.
Picking the Perfect Tag
There’s a surprising variety when it comes to dog name tags. You’ll want to consider size, shape, material, and the amount of space available for engraving. A tag that’s too large can irritate smaller breeds, while a tiny tag may not hold enough information.
Choose tags with rounded edges to avoid discomfort. Ensure the font is legible, even at a quick glance. And above all, secure it well. A sturdy split ring or clasp ensures the tag stays attached through every jump, tug, or tumble.
A Reflection of Personality and Protection
Every dog is unique, and their tag can reflect that individuality. From heart-shaped charms to bones, stars, or even custom silhouettes, today’s engraved tags let you express your pet’s style while prioritizing their security.
Behind the charm and creativity lies a profound truth: your dog’s tag might be their only way home. It's a small object, but it holds immense significance.
In Closing: The Sound of Safety
There’s something comforting about the gentle jingle of a tag against a collar. It’s the sound of presence, of protection, of love. But if your dog ever goes missing, that small piece of metal becomes your greatest ally.
Dog name tags, dog ID tags, and engraved dog tags are not just optional accessories—they are essential identifiers that stand guard over your pet’s safety.
For every bark, every wag, every adventurous leap into the unknown, let your dog carry a piece of home around their neck. Because when it comes to safety, clarity and preparedness always lead the way home.

Understanding the National Microchip Registry: Why It’s Essential for Your Pet’s Safety
Losing a beloved pet is a heart-wrenching experience, but thanks to advancements in technology, microchips offer a reliable way to reunite lost pets with their owners. The National Microchip Registry (NMR) is a comprehensive database that stores microchip information, making it easier to find and return lost pets quickly.
Tumblr media
What is the National Microchip Registry?
The National Microchip Registry is a centralized platform where pet owners can register their pet's microchip number, along with their contact information. When a lost pet is found and scanned by a veterinarian, shelter, or rescue organization, the registry provides immediate access to the owner's details.
Why is Microchip Registration Important?
Permanent Identification: Unlike collars and tags that can break or fall off, a microchip is a permanent form of identification.
Fast Reunions: Microchips increase the likelihood of reuniting lost pets with their owners.
Proof of Ownership: A registered microchip serves as undeniable proof of ownership.
Nationwide Coverage: NMR ensures your pet can be identified and returned, no matter where they are found.
How Does the National Microchip Registry Work?
Microchipping: Your pet receives a small microchip, typically implanted between their shoulder blades.
Registration: You register your pet’s microchip number in the NMR database with accurate and up-to-date contact details.
Scanning: If your pet is lost and found, animal professionals scan the microchip to retrieve its unique number.
Reuniting: The number is checked in the NMR database, connecting the finder with the pet owner for a swift reunion.
Tips for Keeping Microchip Information Updated
Update After Moving: Change your address and phone number in the registry after relocation.
Add Emergency Contacts: Provide secondary contacts in case you’re unreachable.
Regularly Verify Information: Set a reminder to check your pet’s registration details annually.
How NMR Supports Pet Safety
At the National Microchip Registry, we are committed to safeguarding pets and reuniting them with their families. Our user-friendly platform ensures easy registration, quick updates, and reliable support in times of need. By registering your pet’s microchip with NMR, you’re taking an essential step toward ensuring their safety.
Final Thoughts
A microchip alone isn’t enough — it must be registered to be effective. The National Microchip Registry makes this process simple and efficient. Take a proactive step today and secure your pet’s safety with NMR.

Beastly
And it was given unto him to give breath to it, even to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Revelation 13:15)
I am (or was) a little bit of a computer nerd. I enjoy how technology can make life easier. There was a time though when Star Trek 3D holograms were science fiction. They still are, but not for long, I think. The description of the beast creating an image that has breath and is able to talk is very much a serious possibility in the not too distant future. Matthew 24 has this verse "If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe it not." (Matthew 24:26). This verse would make sense in a world where hologram spheres are erected in various places and it talks to people at the same time. Thereby giving rise to this verse. It gives a kind of omnipresence to the beast. Something he does not possess. I mention this more out of curiosity rather than to suggest that this is how it will be done. Watch and pray is our instruction.
This beast (and I get confused about which one is spoken of), "deceiveth them that dwell on the earth" (v 14). There is a very clear deception. A very strong deception. Jesus said that even the elect would be deceived - if that were possible.
This creation of the hologram is so that many people in diverse nations and cities can worship the beast. But some will not worship and will be killed as a result.
Some will still escape, so the threat of worship or else, becomes an economic threat. They are to "burn incense to Caesar" or remain hungry and not able to access their bank account, unless they take his mark.
The only way that you attain this mark is by worshiping the beast (or his image). This worship is at first a deception, then it is compelled by threat of death, then it is coaxed by threat of starvation or economic law. These requirements are probably where the idea of a one world religion, one world government, one world currency probably all come from. We already have the UN with its many affiliates such as WHO and too many others to list.
Interestingly, one of the titles of the pope is Vicarius Filii Dei, meaning the Vicar of the Son of God. If you take each of the letters of the Roman title and convert them to our decimal system, we find it adds up to 666. NOTE: there the letter U is a new letter and previous V was used in places. So, when you see the U think v, and use 5.
v = 5 F = 0 D = 500
i = 1 i = 1 e = 0
c = 100 l = 50 i = 1
a = 0 i = 1
r = 0 i = 1
i = 1
v = 5
s = 0
500+100+50+5+5+(6*1)=666
This is just for interest sake. Let us at least just keep our eyes open. Other historical figures have also had their names add up to 666. One interesting character I have had my eyes on since early 2000s has been Bill Gates. He is really the father of the personal computer. Computers store digits. It has a language. All the letters in the alphabet (and those in Cyriac) all have a number assigned to them. It is a computer code called ASCII. Now you take his name BILLGATES he adds up to 663, but he is Bill Gates III (the third), so add the 3. Windows computers are perpetually infected by viruses, and the cure was the antivirus. After he left Microsoft, his philanthropy took him to vaccines. Makes one think.
This mark at this point in time could be a few things. It could be as simple as a tattoo, it could be a microchip implant - we already do this to our pets, and other animals. It could be something completely different.
Whoever the final beast is who demands worship will eventually be revealed. Who he actually is, we cannot say for sure.
Revelation 14:9-11 has a stern warning for those that receive the mark of the beast.
What is not clear to me at present is if believers will be here when this mark is introduced. God starts pouring out his wrath on mankind, but before he does that, we are found to be in Heaven having endured Great Tribulation. If this is the case, you and I are safe. What these could be then are those that remain, but suddenly realize what has happened and turn to Christ in repentance. They still endure God's wrath, but are somehow protected. One problem I have always had with the rapture theology is that if God removes his church, where is His witness? Where are those that must still share the gospel. Are there any more that must still hear?
Two Ways to Live? The question must always be asked, "Are you saved?" As there is a strong deception, another question is "Are you equipped to handle the deception?" There also being so many theories about end times, but the most important question after these two is, "Are you obeying Jesus where he commanded us to 'Watch and Pray'?"
Father, on one hand Revelation is very clear, on another we are also just not sure. However, we are commanded to Watch and Pray. Help us to be faithful as you reveal to us what will come. Protect us from evil. Give us wisdom in the days ahead.
