Mid air thief continues to shock me with just how intricate every layer of his music is. Like ive been listening for like three years now and every time I listen to Crumbling I always feel so surprised and happy that it exists... Listening to "No Answer" is like when you wake up to sunrise with the clouds obscuring the sun, so the sky is very orange and pink and yellow... A very painted sight and wonderful feeling.... Forever mid air thief in my heart <3

Propaganda Goth folk jazz music. Every one of their songs make me feel some kind of way. They made a concept album about Marie Curie. They wrote a song that's just them making statements about stingrays. They wrote a song called Artichoke and it honestly slaps. They performed a song in an airport and the TSA announcement at the beginning sounded intentional.

First off, and most importantly, that Phantom Thief AU fic is amazing. Just, you can really tell that MK was in his element despite not being in his head. Red Son was just there to vibe and that's valid of him. Macaque is probably there to ensure no demonic shenanigans ruin this for his student and if I'm right that's so valid of him. And Sun Wukong is such a mood for being anxious in the crowd, alongside realizing how being in the mentality of Golden Monkey does improve MK's skills. Just, I love it.

Also I just recalled how in the Phantom Thief AU Porty is literally just Phantom R and just, I imagine that it's because he still has the skills and instincts of a Phantom Thief, but wants to show that at the end of the day he's his own person. So why not due some music themed stunts and heists, probably dress up like Phantom R, and just do his own thing?

also though, in this specific fic, it's set before Macaque ever meets MK or Red Son- he literally just happened to be there hsdlkfjsdlkfs. I didn't think much into the reasoning of it at the time, but I suppose it'd be along the lines of him watching heists and like... taking notes??? cause y'know, he DEFINITELY lives for theatric performance. he probably attends a lot of heists and uses them for ideas for shows and stuff. (also possibly to mentally criticize other thieves). He just happened to spot Wukong and knew instinctually what he was about to do.

also, YES, Porty would absolutely do that. he'd vibe the whole entire time.

HOLY FUCKING SHITTTTTTTT. Luca Guadagnino has a HIT here holy shit. I left the theater fucking panting and freaking the fuck out and feeling exhilarated like holy shit it was such a rush. ALSO the soundtrack is fucking PHENOMENAL, every time I go outside I listen to the mix by Boys Noize and everything is just better its so crazy.
