God I have a few theories abt the fnaf trailer

1. During the supposed dream sequence, we see a kid in a car being driven away that looks SUSPICIOUSLY like Mike. Either a) this is his kid that got taken away from him or b) this is actually MIKE, and his mother took him away from William at a young age, possibly resulting in split custody

2. Mike is going to actually get springtrapped in golden Freddy, replacing Cassidy as "the one you should not have killed". He was injured, chased, caught and put into that weird machine in the trailer, and golden Freddy is consistently seen with Abby, particularly holding her hand. Sure, protagonists never get hurt or killed, but this is fnaf, literally no one is safe lmao

3. Vanessa is either misinformed or working with William and misdirecting Mike. The animatronics NEVER go after children, and from what we see in the trailer... they don't actually go after her, we're only TOLD that. They might scare her, but they don't hurt her. Plus, William is clearly on the loose, likely hunting Abby down.

I'm not sure if any of this will end up being true, but I hope to GOD at least one of these are

oh my god. thinking about the byers being jewish again. thinking about a little will acting out and drawing the passover story with joyce narrating and jonathan giggling along. thinking about the potential future of byers-wheeler passovers. thinking about mike writing their haggadah and inserting little jokes and meaningful reflections about their experience with the apocalypse. thinking about when everyone has kids, mike and nancy and el searching for the afikoman along side them because they never got to when they were younger. omg thinking about will and mike turning the passover story into a dnd campaign!! introducing their kids to both dnd and the history of will’s people!! sorry im absolutely insane about this!!!!

Random House Worlds and Marvel Comics are collaborating on a series of adult novels carrying on the What If...? storytelling tradition at Marvel. Each book will focus on its own twist on a Marvel hero and will be set in their own distinct universes. Penguin House Audio will also publish audiobook editions of each novel.

I am not sure if this would fit to your AU but I had thought (It's kinda funny but believe me) that the lamb/kid Archangels get their helmets by the glowing Light-equse spider-thingly-shaped-kinda-like-facehugger as it will just louge and shaped around your head depends on what role you have like the video on World's Dumbest that lizard hopped onto a guy who then proceeds to choke but it will be Gabriel who will so scared lamb like "AHHH GET IT OF ME" and just yets his new helmet away. lol

actually DEEPLY invested in the idea this presents that the helmets are possibly a kind of symbiotic/parasitic lifeform, like the "proper" analogue to the ferryman's idols - forms imbued with holy light, but not enough to really exist on their own. the shape they take on is representative of who that angel is and while they largely then remain static throughout the angel's lifetime, they can morph if given enough internal change (eg, fallen angels) in this way, they are meant to define the angel by the role they play instead of by their individual facial features and project a much more uniform look to heaven itself. like i've always enjoyed the idea that the helmets aren't truly necessary, rather that they are a form of control and made to be so that only god ever really looks upon an angel's true face. BUT....with this, they could be made to feel responsible for their helmet in some way, that they MUST keep it on them at all (or most) times so that it can survive.

which is. all good as fully grown angels, used to their little parasites, but the FIRST TIME they're introduced to it????? no thanks!!!!!!!! god and lucifer can tell them all they want that it's friendly and will help them but THAT is a BUG!!!!!!!!!

Mike in a Box au <3

Au where Michael witnesses his father commit a more recent murder, and William kills him for seeing it

I imagine in this au there's two security puppets- Charlie is in the one on the inside, and Michael comes to possess the one on the outside. The jack-in-a-box style animatronic was put in after Charlie's death when Henry found out she'd been trapped outside

The security Puppet outside is absolutely massive- approximately 9 feet tall, but unable to leave the box its in. It's an actual animatronic, with its own prize corner for birthday parties set outside.

Michael kind of hates the animatronic he's stuck in, but he takes his security job very seriously. Michael has always been protective, and now he's even more protective, especially of the missing children. He's extremely protective of his little brother, having never gotten a chance to accidentally kill him like in canon.

In this au, Michael actually has access to cameras inside and outside, meaning he can keep an eye on everyone.

This means he's VERY aware of what the masked bullies were wanting to pull on CCs birthday. The second he heard they were gonna shove his little brother into Fredbears mouth, Michael tore himself from his box, breaking the cable connecting him to it and ignoring the fact that he completely lacks feet.

Once he'd broken in via the vents, CC was already in the bears mouth- and Michael was far too late to save his baby brother.

After that, Michael protected his little brother more than anyone else, refusing to let the golden suit his brother resides in leave his sight.
