 “Fatta l’Italia, bisogna fare gli italiani”

Massimo d'Azeglio, autore della frase, era un intelligente ma pigro e distratto notabile piemunteis. La frase non fa torto a tali caratteristiche: é un controsenso savoiardo.

Dar infatti per scontato nel 1861 che l'Italia era "fatta", bastando averla messa assieme sul piano dinastico e dei confini (peraltro senza Roma e Triveneto), altro non era che una slinguazzata da disciplinato ufficialetto buja nen al suo riverito sovrano Conquistador.

Al contrario, l'unico motivo vero per cui l'Italia finalmente era abbozzata sulle carte era per via della innegabile cultura della italianità esistente. Tutto è relativo: lingua cultura miti geopolitica e tradizioni eran meno estranee tra le varie province che a quelle francesi o austriache, un certo livello di "italianità" era presente e avvertito, perlomeno tra coloro che sapevano di Dante e quindi non pensavano la terra piatta. Non per caso l'unione del 1861 avveniva non tanto per conquista (ok, Lombardia) quanto per dedizione spontanea di varie province e ducati.

In sintesi, spiaze caro d'Azeglio ma quel che c'era davvero da da fare (da sempre) era proprio l'Italia.

L'impasse non sta nel non aver forgiato l'homo novus italico (ci provò poi Mussolini per vent'anni: esiti tragicomici); il disastro fu proprio quello di tentare di "fare l'Italia" una volta unificata, percorrendo la strada PESSIMA, usando cioè il modello centralista prefettizio francese. Questo nel paese dei mille campanili, dei comuni e delle signorie. Demenziale.

Errore tragico poi ribadito dal fascismo, rivoluzione demenziale che s'era data come modello l'Impero Romano (nulla di meno italiano) invece del fecondo LOCALISMO CHE SI FA GLOBALE nel Rinascimento, il vero momento ECCELLENTE dell'italianità che è cultura della diversità identitaria.

Devono solo ringraziare se nonostante tutti gli sforzi contrari, un minimo di "italianità" ancora faticosamente persiste, nonostante tutti i politicanti nonostante i tradimenti pelosi e le pugnalate comuniste alle spalle (Istria, città della Dalmazia ma sin dall'inizio: Nizza 1861). Se ci siamo ancora é solo grazie a Caporetto a Bartali a Mike Bongiorno e a un paio di nazionali di calcio.

Non ci credo.

«Ma è vero, ho sessant’anni».

Sempre bellissima.

«Grazie ma è un sollievo, oggi, essere giudicata non per l’aspetto fisico o per la dizione, bensì per qualcosa che faccio con le mie mani».

Sculture e soprattutto quadri. Astratti, materici, dove lei lavora il colore spianandolo, rigandolo e curvandolo con le mani.

«Vede quello? Si intitola “E l’ali d’oro”, citazione dantesca. Lo sa che Dante mette i Cavalieri Templari in Paradiso, mentre tutto il resto del mondo li collocherebbe all’inferno? Guardi invece questa scultura: è dedicata alle donne che si mettevano in viaggio verso i luoghi sacri, spesso da sole: qualcuna non arrivava a destinazione»

Si ispira al Medioevo nella sua pittura.

«Pellegrini, cavalieri, santi. Troppe coincidenze: quando ho deciso di aprile l’atelier a Nizza ho scelto il 31 di Rue Droite, la via degli artisti. Ebbene, mi sono resa conto che sono a cinque metri dalla chiesa intitolata a San Giacomo, il santo dei pellegrini. Tutto questo era dentro di me».

Ma ben nascosto. Per anni. Fiorella Pierobon, di Somma Lombardo (Varese) — anzi per la precisione di Vergiate, paese ancora più piccolo —, gli stessi occhi chiari che dal 1983 al 2003 hanno scritto in lungo racconto televisivo, quello di Canale 5, la rete ammiraglia di Mediaset. Annunciatrice, presentatrice, cantante, «spalla» ora di Mike ora di Corrado, a volte sullo schermo da sola, come in «Rivediamoli».

Un programma che andava in onda al mattino, no?

«Ma lo sa che facevo 12 milioni di telespettatori?»

Caspita.

«Eppure le donne all’epoca erano sempre parte di un racconto maschile, come iscritte in una traiettoria pre definita. E sì che ce n’erano di bravissime: pensi a Milly Carlucci. Non è come oggi, quando anche le conduttrici possono esprimersi più liberamente, la loro testa viene fuori, anche usando i social».

Si andava delineando anche una precisa fisionomia femminile?

«Sì, ma di due tipi e sa come le riconoscevamo? Vedendo passare i facchini dei costumi. C’era il “modello Gino Landi”, dunque alto e giunonico, ma c’era anche il “modello Don Lurio”, minuto e esile».

Le donne cominciarono ad avere un po’ più di spazio con Costanzo.

«Marta Flavi, per dire, per non parlare della grandissima De Filippi».

All’epoca contavano i grandi showmen, dal potere senza fine.

«Poche volte in quegli anni le donne raggiungevano un’autonomia espressiva, molto più spesso ci dicevano che cosa fare, leggevamo copioni. Io sin dall’inizio non volevo fare la televisione: famiglia veneta, molto riservata, studi di ragioneria».

Ma ha cominciato con «TuttoUncinetto».

«Una delle primissime telepromozioni, era il 1977, su Telealtomilanese».

Poi l’approdo a Mediaset.

«Prima Telenord Italia e Canale 51, poi sì, quella che è diventata Mediaset».

C’era già tutto il gruppo che poi sarebbe sfociato in Forza Italia.

«Avevo a che fare con Paolo Romani, gli dissi che cosa non mi andava bene e me ne andai. Ci siamo rivisti dopo tanti anni, penso che ce l’avesse ancora con me».

Una Fiorella «di lotta» più che di governo.

«Dunque, eravamo già a Segrate, c’erano tre bagni per i maschi e uno solo per le femmine, vado a memoria. Ed erano aperti, nel senso che gli uomini potevano usare il nostro. Sai come lo lasciavano! Dissi che volevo le chiavi per permettere alle donne di prenderle all’occorrenza. Minacciai di andare a fare pipì ogni volta a casa mia. Tempo quattro ore e avevo le chiavi».

Tenne testa anche a Berlusconi?

«Certo. Una volta la Rai mi fece una proposta e io semplicemente andai a sentire che cosa volevano. All’uscita mi fotografarono e finii sui giornali, con il titolo: “Pierobon passa alla Rai”. Non era vero, ma il dottor Berlusconi mi incontrò quattro giorni dopo e disse: “Ah, ma allora lei è ambiziosa!”. Capito, lui che dice ambiziosa a me?!»

E, soprattutto, pronunciando questa parola come se fosse un’accusa.

«Poi aggiunse ironicamente: “Lo sa che i cimiteri sono pieni di persone indispensabili?” Io non feci una piega e risposi: “Mi dica adesso, chiaramente e in faccia che io non sono indispensabile”. Non rispose e andò via. Però lui ogni volta che mi ha incrociato, da quella volta, mi ha sempre chiesto pareri, perché sapeva che io dicevo le cose molto chiaramente. Ho sempre chiesto e ottenuto rispetto».

Ambientino.

«Sto raccontando gli eccessi, in realtà Berlusconi è stato un presidente molto abile e capace, interveniva su tutto e voleva scegliere persino i fiori degli studi. Senza contare che a Mediaset ho conosciuto persone importantissime. Però, vede, solo quando ho cominciato a lavorare il colore sulla tela mi sono resa conto che nella mia vita non avevo mai fatto qualcosa di veramente mio.

Usando le mani, la testa, il cuore. Quelli in tv sono stati anni intensi, frenetici, pieni di viaggi. Eppure ora sono felice. Lavoro a Nizza, non in Italia. Lì nessuno mi conosce, eppure i miei quadri vendono in tutto il mondo. Ho partecipato anche alla 54a Biennale di Venezia».

Sembrerebbe che la tv sia stata per lei una prigione.

«Sì, un meccanismo che ti lascia pochissimo tempo per pensare, riflettere, amare. In tanti ne sono rimasti stritolati, ricordo quanta polverina bianca girava. Io però ho radici provinciali, sono rimasta con i piedi per terra, lo ha già visto il mio orto?»

Fiorella Pierobon vive con il marito Alberto Pugnetti e tre cani in una villetta con orto e giardino a Imbersago, a due passi dal fiume Adda, dove c’è il (presunto) traghetto di Leonardo da Vinci. È una casa ordinata e piena di ricordi, con pochi suoi quadri, segno di apprezzabile modestia. Dipinti che hanno una reale forza materica, frutto di una disciplina d’altri tempi, coltivata con impegno e dedizione.

Una vita piena, la sua, quella di oggi. Eppure tutti le chiedono di quando, bionda e vaporosa, leggeva gli annunci in tv.

«Ma lo so, sono un personaggio. Vuole un aneddoto su un ammiratore? Una volta uno mi inseguì con la macchina e mi lanciò delle rose dal finestrino. Vuole un parere su Mike? Che vuole che le dica, un grandissimo professionista ma diomio, zero ironia. Una volta osai quello che nessuno osava in sua presenza: feci una battuta. Calò il gelo. Vuole che le racconti una delle tante avances che mi sono state fatte quando lavoravo in televisione? Una risposta su tutte: ma chi non ne faceva?»

Fiorella, sa che sembra più interessante la sua vita di adesso?

«Perché le vite interessanti sono quelle che hanno qualcosa da dire. In tv leggevo e basta».

Fa anche la radio, RadioFrancigena. Che cosa le manca?

«Non ho scritto libri. Per ora».

Le sette sataniste ed il potere politico

(di Massimo Montinari) Un articolo dirimente in merito agli argomenti trattati nella prima parte è quello di Maurizio Blondet, del 29 Aprile 2017, dal titolo significativo “Un culto di lucifero nell’alta finanza”. Esso riprende alcuni blog che riportano le dichiarazioni di un tale Ronald Bernard, forse pseudonimo di un professionista interno all’alta finanza, il quale affermava che in quegli ambienti si praticasse un culto luciferino. “Le prove non ci sono”, dice Blondet nel suo articolo, di cui si riportano alcuni stralci. È interessante leggere l’intervista fatta a Bernard… “Non solo le masse ovine, ma anche molti nostri lettori informati restano increduli di fronte ad azioni di personaggi come Soros: a che scopo, poniamo, paga e finanzia per inondare l’Europa di immigrati islamici non-integrabili che producono disordine sociale? E perché politici come la Merkel insistono in questa “soluzione” alla scarsa demografia, palesemente rovinosa? Perché gli stati spendono miliardi per questa “grande sostituzione” dei loro popoli, mentre non spendono per assegni di maternità che consentano alle famiglie di avere tanti figli (che in Russia, per esempio, sta funzionando bene)? Perché i grandi banchieri organizzano la miseria e la disoccupazione di massa? “Cosa ci guadagnano?”.Questa è la domanda da cui nasce, anche in lettori informati sui retroscena del mondo e delle oligarchie, l’impossibilità a credere cose così enormi; gli sembra impossibile che i Soros, i Rotschild, Goldman Sachs, Monsanto, questi “Illuminati”, le direzioni dei media, le eurocrazie facciano questo “in pura perdita”, e persino “contro i loro interessi” fondamentali. Ciò perché ci si ostina ad si attribuire a questi gruppi motivazioni ancora razionali,l’interesse materiale, l’avidità, la spinta all’arricchirsi – motivi umani, in fondo comprensibili da noi comuni mortali”. Bernard ci dice: “Lo fanno per odio puro. In purezza ascetica. Odio al genere umano. Odio alla natura (un tempo si diceva: alla creazione). Li vogliono entrambi annichiliti, distrutti, carbonizzati. Costoro fanno sacrifici umani e distruggono vite come offerta gratuita, liturgica, all’Essere cui danno culto: quello che fu chiamato “l’Omicida fin dall’Inizio” – che vuole distruggere l’uomo perché ne invidia il destino soprannaturale – che si rifiutò di servirlo, che gridò ”Non serviam”; è quello per cui “tutto ciò che esiste merita di morire”. Poiché è Principe di questo mondo, essi ne sono ricompensati con poteri preternaturali, o almeno così intendono i loro successi finanziari, i loro posti di comando mondiale, il loro potere di disporre la vita e la morte di milioni di “bestie da soma”. Infatti, più oltre Ronald aggiunge: “Sono pochi quelli che non sottovalutano la gravità di tutto questo. Perché questa è una forza annientatrice, che odia l’umanità. Odia la creazione, odia la vita. E farà di tutto per distruggerci completamente. E il loro modo per farlo è dividere l’umanità. Divide et impera è la loro verità”. E poi: “L’umanità e una manifestazione della luce, cioè la vera creazione. Fintanto che riescono a dividere sui partiti politici, colore della pelle, chi più ne ha più ne metta, allora, da un punto di vista luciferino, si sopprime la piena capacità del nemico, il suo potere integrale. Non possono far niente da soli; senza di noi, sarebbero finiti. Quest’avido mostro scomparirebbe”. “Tutto è finanziato”: primavere arabe, rivoluzioni colorate, il Califfato, il terrorismo, le strategie della tensione, i delinquenti marginali che “si radicalizzano” di colpo e fanno strage a Parigi o a Nizza o a Berlino, assassini solitari… ne abbiamo viste di queste scenografie, in questi anni. Eppure la maggior parte dei media continua a diramare i comunicati di Al Qaeda o i video dell’ISIS emanati dal SITE di Rita Katz; e il gran gregge pecorile crede alle versioni ufficiali. La creazione di assassini solitari e terroristi islamici, di stati d’animo collettivi a Kiev come in Macedonia, o al Cairo, non possono non sembrare al gregge fenomeni “spontanei” – non possono credere che sono atti di magia – magia nera – capacità speciali che possono persino sorgere dai poteri preternaturali che Lucifero dona ai suoi adepti. Il gregge ormai è progressista, si è liberato degli antichi tabù e delle superate superstizioni, è felicemente e integralmente secolarizzato…”. “C’è tutto un mondo invisibile”, dice Bernard. E aggiunge: “Nei miei studi e scoperte ho trovato un documento, che loro dicono che son tutte palle ovviamente. I Protocolli di Sion. Un documento incredibilmente noioso. Raccomando a tutti di leggerlo, perché se lo studi e lo capisci, è come leggere il giornale della vita quotidiana. Come da questa loro posizione di potere estremo – ed estremo è letteralmente divenuto – essi … Ma questo è solo perché la gente non si difende, non si oppone. Non capisce cosa è la realtà. E siamo stati tutti programmati; se osi dirlo, sei bollato di antisemita. Quindi sei neutralizzato. Essi si sforzano … Il negativo, chiamalo Male, luciferiani, satanisti, chiamalo come vuoi, è una entità reale. Si legge nella Bibbia. non solo nella Bibbia, ma in così tanti libri”. Ma oggi cosa sta accadendo veramente nel mondo? Pare che negli USA gli atei americani piu’ assatanati (come riporta Glauco Maggi con un suo articolo del30 aprile 2019) che avevano fondato un loro Tempio (Satanico) nel 1913 per combattere le religioni (su tutte la cristianità) avevano deciso di abbattere Trump. Infatti anche il “Satanic Temple” USA si era arruolato apertamente nella Resistenza al presidente e al suo vice Mike Pence (come riporta Maggi) in quanto è sceso in campo per sloggiarli dalla Casa Bianca alle elezioni del 2020. Dalla sua fondazione “il Tempio a-religioso si era distinto per accogliere chiunque credesse nelle azioni politiche “secolari” e odiasse la destra politica-culturale. Organizzativamente, celebrava Messe Nere all’insegna del Demonio ed era ritenuto per quello che era: un gruppo fanatico, bizzarro, estremo nella sua estetica provocatoria e blasfema, che per loro è un complimento. Ma questo era il passato, era il mondo prima di Trump: quando i “riti demoniaci” si praticavano ‘underground’, di nascosto, cercando di evitare un’eccessiva visibilità”.. Ma il satanismo nella politica si è adeguato ai tempi che stiamo vivendo infatti la lotta che il Tempio Satanico sta conducendo contro la morale cristiana “richiede un livello di partecipazione politica”, una maggiore pubblicità ed una esposizione mediatica... Riporta il Daily Mail, citando la nuova impostazione spiegata dal cofondatore e portavoce del Tempio Satanico Lucien Greaves, che ha parlato ai giornalisti davanti alla Università di Boulder Colorado: “Tradizionalmente, i seguaci del Satanismo praticavano in privato, a porte chiuse, con le candele nere e al suono della musica nera metallica”. Il satanismo si è trasformato, si è adattato come un virus mutante alla nuova società, pretendendo di entrare direttamente nella vita politica e nella sfera pubblica. Negli USA “il Tempio Satanico ha attratto ‘migliaia’ di nuovi membri nelle prime 36 ore dopo l’elezione di Donald Trump, un picco di registrazioni mai visto prima. Fino al novembre 2016, dalla sua fondazione il gruppo aveva raccolto circa 50 mila iscritti”. Il satanista Greaves, nel suo discorso pubblico in Colorado, ha esposto il suo pensiero: “Oggi siamo definitivamente un movimento di resistenza. Ci sentiamo in netta opposizione all’idea che dobbiamo unificarci sotto un singolo messaggio religioso”. La sinistra liberale negli USA ha colto immediatamente il segnale lanciato dal satanista Greaves tanto da favorire un’alleanza “politica” con gli stessi satanisti. Paradossalmente è quello che sta avvenendo in Italia, subdolamente, con il coinvolgimento di fasce sempre più ampie del mondo del giornalismo, della cultura , dell’alta finanza, come si è potuto constatare nelle difese monolitiche erette immediatamente a tutela di sedicenti satanisti. Glauco Maggi continua… “Satan sta avendo il suo momento” (di gloria, sottinteso) ha titolato l’Huffington Post un articolo sul Tempio. E “Hail Satan?” È il nome di un documentario sulle sorprese positive che scopre chi guarda da vicino al movimento: ‘Oggi l’organizzazione è in parti uguali una religione dei tempi moderni, una coalizione di attivisti politici e una rivoluzione meta culturale. Rivendicando l’iconografia pop che ha sempre terrorizzato l’America evangelica – il culto del diavolo, i riti sacrificali, le corna, i pentagrammi, le cosiddette Messe Nere – il Tempio Satanico punta a catturare l’attenzione della gente e poi sorprenderla con un messaggio di liberta’ di pensiero, di compassione, di liberta’ e di giustizia per tutti’. L’intento degli antitrumpisti è di presentare i Satanisti, gli ultimi alleati, come una bene intenzionata organizzazione civica che lotta per la ‘giustizia sociale’ e per ‘la libertà di parola’, quando è ovvio che il tratto condiviso tra il Tempio ateo e i liberal è il disprezzo ormai paranoico di tutto cio’ che suona ‘cristiano’, a partire dal Natale. In una intervista pubblicata dal sito The Daily Beast (sinistra radicale), Greaves, che è ormai diventato un coccolo dei Never Trump, ridicolizza il presidente e condanna il suo vice: ‘Trump e’ troppo stupido per poter prevedere le sue mosse; questo tizio non ha alcuna idea dei suoi limiti. Ciò che comunque mi tranquillizza di Trump è che non ha una visione. Mike Pence invece mi fa veramente paura: ha una chiara, teocratica visione per gli Stati Uniti”. Congress Needs to Retake Its Power to Declare War

(Bloomberg Opinion) -- Here are two facts Americans should be aware of: there will be men and women deploying to Afghanistan for the first time this September who were born after Sept. 11, 2001; the authorization for that war was signed so long ago that 80% of the men and women in Congress today never voted on it. Put these facts together and one comes to the inescapable conclusion that Congress is overdue in revisiting and updating the legal foundations on which the war in Afghanistan is based.I’m not opposed to war in principle. I enlisted in the Army, volunteered to lead men and women into combat, and fought in Afghanistan. But if the president of the United States believes there is a threat to our national security that requires sustained military action, then he or she should be forced to seek approval from Congress. This isn’t a matter of opinion, it’s the Constitution.   This is exactly what happened in 2001. President George W. Bush asked to wage war against the terrorists behind the 9/11 attacks. Congress passed the Authorization for Use of Military Force, or AUMF. But that was 18 years ago. And since then, Congress has abdicated its responsibility as Democratic and Republican presidents alike have invoked the AUMF against targets across 19 countries, many of which have no actual ties to al-Qaeda or affiliated groups. This concern has taken on a new urgency. As tensions with Iran continue to escalate, Washington is embroiled in a debate about whether the 2001 AUMF provides a legal basis for war with Iran. That this is even a question underscores the need for Congress to take a fresh look at the AUMF. Until then, war hawks and neoconservatives will be trying to stretch an authorization older than our youngest soldiers.Let me be clear, Iran is a serious threat and bad actor. I’ve had friends wounded by Iranian-made armor-piercing explosives in Iraq. Iran has continually undermined American interests in the Middle East, including attacking tankers and the recent downing of one of our drones. But that doesn’t mean its actions fall under the legal authority granted in the 2001 AUMF. An updated, modernized authorization can balance our need for national security with our expectation of proper oversight and transparency. I’m a Democrat representing one of the tightest swing districts in the country, but this isn’t partisan. The forever wars have gone on for a generation now, enabled by politicians who have been too afraid to vote on war and peace.My colleagues are coming to a similar realization. In June, the House voted to repeal the 2001 AUMF in eight months — giving Congress plenty of time to develop a replacement. And last week, the House passed an amendment as part of the annual defense bill that would prevent a war with Iran without congressional authority. As the House and Senate prepare to enter into a conference committee to hash out differences in their respective defense bills, the situation is clear: The House is in favor of repealing the AUMF and installing safeguards against war with Iran, while the Senate prefers to keep the status quo. Iran has continually undermined American interests in the Middle East, including attacking tankers and the recent downing of one of our drones. But that doesn’t mean its actions fall under the legal authority granted in the 2001 AUMF. An updated, modernized authorization can balance our need for national security with our expectation of proper oversight and transparency. I’m a Democrat representing one of the tightest swing districts in the country, but this isn’t partisan. The forever wars have gone on for a generation now, enabled by politicians who have been too afraid to vote on war and peace.My colleagues are coming to a similar realization. In June, the House voted to repeal the 2001 AUMF in eight months — giving Congress plenty of time to develop a replacement. And last week, the House passed an amendment as part of the annual defense bill that would prevent a war with Iran without congressional authority. As the House and Senate prepare to enter into a conference committee to hash out differences in their respective defense bills, the situation is clear: The House is in favor of repealing the AUMF and installing safeguards against war with Iran, while the Senate prefers to keep the status quo. Con il rincoglionimento generale procurato dal solito populismo demagogico che le occasioni formali senza più alcuna significazione intrinseca portano seco, come è ormai il caso della cosiddetta Festa del Lavoro, quale migliore occasione per lo staff renzista per lanciare la madre di tutte le battaglie: la campagna per il SÌ al Referendum di ottobre.

Subito Renzi chiama e la RAI risponde, insieme ai giornali italiani. Che zelo! Quanta solerzia! Ecco dunque i titoloni e le solite fotografie formato lenzuolo su Repubblica e il Corriere, così come su tutti gli altri giornali e giornaletti che da due anni partecipano nell’orgia laudatoria governativa. E cosa raccontare dei servizi di approfondimento politico dei canali RAI, per inciso quegli stessi canali che avevano silenziato il precedente Referendum sulle Trivelle? Mi ha quasi commosso il tripudio di spiegazioni, illazioni, circonlocuzioni su come dove e quando si terrà l’imprescindibile appuntamento…. Tutto questo mentre la particella SÌ veniva ripetuta, senza sgarrare mai, a intervelli di cinque secondi, alla maniera di un datato messaggio subliminale ingiurioso della stessa storia che ha portato alla nascita della nostra Costituzione. Ingiurioso della nostra stessa Storia. Poi a volte capita che domani sia un altro giorno… Solo che nel caso del PD ogni nuovo giorno ha ormai il brutto vizio di scoprire un nuovo esponente di partito indagato… arrestato: oggi è toccato a quel sindaco di Lodi successore di Guerini. Insomma, piccoli scandali PD crescono, si allargano, si ingigantiscono e salgono….. sempre più su come diceva Mike Buongiorno ai tempi di una delle sue più riuscite campagne pubblicitarie. Tanti sono gli scandali che, fortunatamente per il partito, abbiamo perso il conto (tutti noi, tranne il coscienzioso Marco Travaglio) degli avvisi di garanzia e dei mandati d’arresto che hanno collezionato i suoi rappresentanti. A questo punto della storia forse quel conto saprebbe tenerlo al meglio solo un computer quantistico.

La ciliegina sulla torta è invece data del fatto che quella riforma costituzionale che vorrebbero approvare, e con la quale ci romperanno i maroni da qui fino a ottobre, prevedrebbe pure nuove immunità per i sindaci e i rappresentanti delle regioni. Con la storia dei molti reprobi e pochi buoni uomini che in questi ultimi anni hanno scritto gli amministratori regionali e comunali, sarebbe un poco come mettere tale ciliegina delicata su una lunga tavola imbandita di cacca. Ma con quale faccia e con quale coraggio questi signori chiedono di cambiare la Costituzione? Capirlo per davvero, fa, secondo me, la differenza tra il mantenere il senno e il perderlo del tutto nella Repubblica delle Banane (rubate!).

Certo, forse i nostri pensieri dovrebbero stare tutti in quel di Nizza. Con le vittime della pazzesca strage di Nizza. Se invece fossimo degli editorialisti di questo o quel giornale patinato italiano, bisognerebbe starcene seduti a scrivere… a ri-scrivere e a ribadire di come incuta terrore la libertà di movimento che hanno questi musulmani radicalizzati in Europa, di come incuta terrore il fatto che Twitter e Facebook non si decidano a bannare quei commenti deliranti, spregiativi di tutto ciò che ci rende orgogliosi figli degli illuministi francesi, dei filosofi greci, persino dei matematici e dottori arabi di un altro tempo però. Se poi fossimo dei rari editorialisti italiani con una grande coscienza di cosa sia l’onestà intellettuale, con un forte coraggio e una potente capacità di visione, staremmo seduti a riportare nero su bianco che la Francia ha miserevolmente fallito ancora una volta: che ha fallito la sua intelligence, che ha fallito la sua polizia, che ha fallito la becera politica senza arte ne parte di Hollande. E poi con ulteriore coraggio si starebbe seduti a scrivere che le autorità musulmane hanno fatto pena anche in questa occasione. Che non si è sentita una sola voce valida proveniente dai paesi arabi che abbia avuto la forza di condannare come si dovrebbe questo gesto codardo che, tra le altre, ha procurato la morte dell’anziana Fatima, la prima vittima, musulmana anche lei. Perché criticare la Chiesa Cattolica può risultare cosa facile in questi tempi di illuminato pontificato francescano (cosa facile, quanto inutile), ma la stesso metro bisognerebbe usarlo senza paura contro le altre confessioni, dottrine, e sette varie che da millenni ci opprimono e opprimono la dignità della nostra intelligenza. Nel suo profondo fondo.

Fortunatamente non siamo editorialisti di tendenza e quindi ci possiamo lasciare andare. Possiamo evitare di trattare l’argomento Nizza e confrontarci invece con la vera notizia politica del giorno proposta da Il Fatto Quotidiano, il quale titola: Firenze, cognato di Renzi indagato per riciclaggio. I PM “Reimpiegò denaro proveniente da UNICEF”.

L’argomento politico del giorno sarebbe insomma la parentopoli renzista. Sarà una notizia vera? Sarà falsa? Certo è che se fosse vera sarebbe un’altra tegola importante caduta addosso al renzismo. L’unica nostra speranza per capirne di più – dato che certamente questa non sarà una notizia investigata con l’attenzione dai giornali e dai telegiornali italiani, è che il giornale di Travaglio non molli la presa sull’argomento e continui a informarci con il rispetto che si deve agli elettori e ai cittadini di un paese libero.

Diario dai giorni del golpe bianco è una cronaca atipica dell’attualità nazionale negli anni del governo Renzi. È un racconto goliardico che è storia, fatto, testimonianza, commento, opinione, leggenda internettiana, diario politico e irriverente… ed è una ridda di personaggi (giornalisti, politici, conduttori, commentatori, opinionisti, blogger) che animano una commedia umana quasi goldoniana nel suo essere prima di tutto appassionata baruffa chiozzotta. Infatuated with Apple's tablet, Murdoch has invested between $20 million and $30 million of his money into the project

Originally set to be unveiled at a January 19 event at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art with Steve Jobs, Rupert Murdoch's much-anticipated iPad-only newspaper, The Daily, was delayed when the Apple CEO announced an indefinite medical leave. With Vice President of Internet Services Eddy Cue taking Jobs' spot next to Murdoch, The Daily will launch Wednesday morning at New York's Guggenheim Museum.

A group of reporters have been invited to preview the newspaper at Murdoch's New York apartment tonight, where the News Corp. CEO is hosting a small cocktail party. My invite hasn't arrived, but no matter: Details are sure to "leak" and, besides, we already know a lot about The Daily. I'm not anticipating any surprises (though if there are, you'll here about them in this space).

So what do we know? We know that Murdoch, infatuated with Apple's tablet device, has reportedly invested between $20 million and $30 million of his own fortune into the project, for which about 100 journalists -- both up-and-coming talent and established voices -- have been poached from various national news organizations, including this one. Spearheaded by Jesse Angelo, formerly of the New York Post, the staff will be split between offices in New York and Los Angeles. Other names at the top of the masthead include Greg Clayman from Viacom as head of business operations; David Brinker as senior vice president of business development and operations; and Mike Nizza from The Atlantic Wire and AOL News, Steve Alperin from ABC News, and Pete Picton from The Sun as managing editors. Some of the other widely-reported names include Sasha Frere-Jones, who will continue his work as music critic at The New Yorker while overseeing The Daily's culture coverage, and Peter Ha, who previously ran Time's Techland. To access all of the work being produced by these stars, which, Murdoch and/or News Corp. insiders have teased, will include interactive graphics, stunning full-tablet photography, videos, and other multimedia that we've yet to see, would-be readers will have to subscribe to the daily newspaper at a cost of 99 cents each week. New content will arrive every morning with infrequent midday updates beamed into tablets when necessary.

And that's where Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of Internet services, comes in. The Daily is special because it has been described as iPad-only (rumors suggest that an accompanying website -- thedaily.com -- will showcase about 10 percent of the material produced by the editorial team, effectively serving as a teaser for the application itself) and because of the heavy investment from Murdoch. Otherwise, this is nothing new: Magazines and newspapers have been putting out iPad applications since the tablet debuted as a consumer must-have last year. One across-the-board complaint, though, is that content creators have had to charge for individual issues, give away applications for free, or tie a digital subscription to an existing print subscription. Under existing restrictions, there isn't a way for The Daily to do what it needs to do to stay solvent, which is bill readers once a week without forcing them to sign up every seven days. The presumption is that Murdoch has worked out a special plan with Jobs and Cue to accommodate The Daily's needs; the digital equivalent of a magazine subscription that re-bills customers automatically could be a game-changer across the industry.

Expect The Daily to kick off with an offer of two free weeks of content and advertisements during the Super Bowl, which will air on Fox, a network owned by Murdoch's News Corp., this coming Sunday. In order to work, the iPad-only newspaper will need to quickly attract a large group of dedicated readers that, without a website and the traditional sharing options -- Digg, Facebook "recommends" Twitter -- we've come to expect on all stories, will have to spread their excitement about the product the old-fashioned way: word of mouth.

News Corp has revealed few details about The Daily. It has not said, for instance, what it will charge readers, if anything.

But the company has been at the forefront of efforts to get subscription fees for digital content. The website of The Wall Street Journal, which News Corp bought in 2007, has required a paid subscription for 14 years, and the newspaper charges for its iPad app.

Put these facts together and one comes to the inescapable conclusion that Congress is overdue in revisiting and updating the legal foundations on which the war in Afghanistan is based.I’m not opposed to war in principle. I enlisted in the Army, volunteered to lead men and women into combat, and fought in Afghanistan. But if the president of the United States believes there is a threat to our national security that requires sustained military action, then he or she should be forced to seek approval from Congress. This isn’t a matter of opinion, it’s the Constitution.   This is exactly what happened in 2001. President George W. Bush asked to wage war against the terrorists behind the 9/11 attacks. Congress passed the Authorization for Use of Military Force, or AUMF. But that was 18 years ago. And since then, Congress has abdicated its responsibility as Democratic and Republican presidents alike have invoked the AUMF against targets across 19 countries, many of which have no actual ties to al-Qaeda or affiliated groups. This concern has taken on a new urgency. As tensions with Iran continue to escalate, Washington is embroiled in a debate about whether the 2001 AUMF provides a legal basis for war with Iran. That this is even a question underscores the need for Congress to take a fresh look at the AUMF. Until then, war hawks and neoconservatives will be trying to stretch an authorization older than our youngest soldiers.Let me be clear, Iran is a serious threat and bad actor. An updated, modernized authorization can balance our need for national security with our expectation of proper oversight and transparency. I’m a Democrat representing one of the tightest swing districts in the country, but this isn’t partisan. The forever wars have gone on for a generation now, enabled by politicians who have been too afraid to vote on war and peace.My colleagues are coming to a similar realization. In June, the House voted to repeal the 2001 AUMF in eight months — giving Congress plenty of time to develop a replacement. And last week, the House passed an amendment as part of the annual defense bill that would prevent a war with Iran without congressional authority. As the House and Senate prepare to enter into a conference committee to hash out differences in their respective defense bills, the situation is clear: The House is in favor of repealing the AUMF and installing safeguards against war with Iran, while the Senate prefers to keep the status quo.
