ok while i LOVE the idea of will being the protective bf to mike ‘nearest weapon-like object was this candlestick’ wheeler, i absolutely want someone to give mike a sword and he just goes full fucking paladin on a demodog or something

i know it’s unrealistic bc like swords are heavy and he’d probably fall over or something but it’d be so fucking cool

I really fucking need a scene where will and Lonnie have a confrontation, just imagine.

Like what if it was Wills birthday and Lonnie just decided to to show up for whatever reason (like finding another scam to place on Joyce like the last time), he shows up on the front porch, and knocks while the most of the gangs inside.

Jonathan opens it and tries to keep his face neutral but deep down is worried since Will and Mike have been out for a while and are comfortable around their family to act as themselves. Joyce comes to see who it is and tells him immediately that he needs to go. Will peeks his head around the corner and sees who it is. He goes to let his brother and his mom know that it's fine.

I could imagine the initial shock of realizing that Joyce has a new family all together with not just a man but a daughter, that his son's have a sister that they get along with. That their friend group grew and he thinks that he's finally "grew up" or now has "normal interests".

Mike of course is running late so when he finally arrives, he rushes in and places wills present somewhere randomly and goes to hug and kiss will on the cheek without a second thought. He starts to apologize for being late but then realized that everyone turned quiet as ghosts. I could imagine will whispering in his ear "my dad's here" or seeing Lonnie at the back of the room and just have a quick face go "FUCK"

Idk, after that what would I guys think would happen?? Share ur thoughts 😈

Personally I would assume he is speechless for the first bit and everyone just goes on as if nothing happens. After a while Lonnie excuses himself to the front porch and is contemplating wether or not he should try talking to will and try to get him to let go of his "lifestyle" some bullshit like that. Like obviously he's going to want to isolate him to try talking to him in a disrespectful way (that he thinks is normal).

After a while right before he walks back in he's confronted by hopper who warns him, that "if you so much as say anything upsetting to that boy" which gets a "he's my son not yours" to which hop goes "yeah well nice job when u believed Joyce and went out looking for him between this town and hell itself"

I would love for the end of his best birthday party to be just him being unapologetic. He goes and confronts his biological father and tells him along the lines that he is who he is and he understands if he's repulsed by this, that he was too of himself at first. I could imagine teary eye will as he goes on and says, "but I have a heart, and I am loved. If you can't accept me I understand but, this will be the last time we talk"
