Since I haven’t been around for a while, Gish, life, health, and all kinds of things, I decided to host a challenge. I haven’t written anything in a long time so I want to read some fics to try and get back in the mood.

This is an original character challenge, no reader inserts allowed. Get creative, let those talented juices flow. This is of course a SPN challenge so the OC has to be in the supernatural universe whether AU, RPF, ABO, canon or whatever. Fluff, smut, angst, flangst, flut, whatever genre you want. As long as you put appropriate warnings and tags and such. 

Your OC’s can be any kind of character, whether it be based off of you or just some person that is stuck in your head. Whoever they are, they need a name and a personality maybe even a description. LGBTQIA or cis, family or lover, hell, it can be the family dog, as long as its original. Make me love the character as much as you loved writing for them. 

Pairing is fine or no pairing at all. But There is a limit to the canon characters I will read so the list of characters to write with are as follows:

Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Castiel, Jo Harvelle, Charlie Bradbury, Rowena, Michael, Bobby Singer, Arthur Ketch and their actors.

So your OCs can react with any of those mostly. You can mention others those just pairings or family ties or anything have to be centered around just these. There is no word limit and there is no minimum. As a matter of fact if you just want to make a moodboard or aesthetic or edit that works too. Just as long as there is an OC involved.

I’m gonna give you the rest of the month to get this done. Sign up will not be closed, so you can start writing whenever you want. As long as you sign up and submit by the 31st of August. I will make a Masterlist the first of September with all the submissions. If you need more time, I’m flexible.

Your ship hit the fan

Pairing: Dean x Reader, Sam 

WC: IDK I forgot to check but it’s not a lot....you will be fine. 

Warnings: Car accident, angst, panic, worry  

A/N: This is super general like it could be an AU, they could be in the hunting world. So it’s whatever you want. It was written for  #MikeysSPNOCchallenge in   @fandomoniumflurry I hope you like...Dorian Gray totally cramped my style this week, to be fair I did put this off till the last week. 

"Fuck," Katie groaned, "Shit, Fuck."  Katie was sitting in the driver seat of you her recently totaled Toyota Tacoma. She can't really move with the seatbelt locking her in. However, she is able to reach her knife allowing her to cut herself free. 

"Fuck," Katie yells this time as the seatbelt holds her in place. Katie didn't know it but a driver that was not paying attention ran thought a stop sign, t-bone here into her truck. 

As she tries to crawl out of the passenger side, she stops as the pain shots up her left leg. "Shit, Fuck, No No No." Katie's panic starts to get the best of her as she realizes no one is moving in the other care. She was headed home from her boyfriend's house, taking the country roads back into town. Who knows how long she would have to sit form someone to stumble upon the accident. 

Then, Katie, sees her phone it's Dean calling her, she's can't get to it in time but she starts to pull herself towards it. It felt like a lifetime for Katie to reach her phone, the reality is it only took 5 minutes. However with a dislocated shoulder, some bruised ribs and a gaping cut on her leg she was almost out of energy.

She puts the phone on speaker and dials Dean. No answer. She tries again still no answer. 

Katie knows that Sam, Dean's brother was at that house before she left so she tries him.

"Hey, Katie, why are you calling," you cut Sam off.

"Someone hit me. I am am, oh god everything hurts. Sammy please," Katie yells into the phone.

"Where are you," the worry can be heard over the phone as she hears = Sam in the background yelling Dean's name. 

"Ah I don't know, I don't remember. It's the way I always go. Please.." Katie's voice fades. 

"Sweetheart, what happened," it's Dean's voice this time. 

Katie can't help but cry hearing his voice, her mind rushing with worry what will happen next, " Dean, I I I don't know. Someone hit me and I can't get out of the car and I can't. " 

"Okay, I am coming. Did you drive your normal route tonight," Dean asked calmy. 

"Yes," Katie answered with tears falling. 

"Hey baby, I need you to take a breath. I will be there in just a few minutes, Sam is already driving. Can you breath for me." 

"Yes," Katie says a little bit slower this time. Her mind starts to calm down knowing that Dean and Sam are on their way. 

It only takes a few minutes before you hear Dean's call pull up. " Katie, I see you I am going to hang up but I will be right there." 

Dean jumps out of the car before it even comes to a stop and he starts calling Katie's name so that she knows she's not alone. Sam is busy checking the other drive and calling 911  by the time Dean opens your passenger door. 

"Dean, get me out please, I don't, I , get me out of here please," Katie begs. 

Dean takes her hand and starts to take in the full situations. She's managed to pull most of her body over to the center consul and he could easily pull her out however he wasn't sure what was damaged had already been caused. Dean asks a few questions about what hurts and then he decides he can move her with little to no risk of additional injuries. 

"Katie, I can get you out but it's going to hurt. Are you sure you don't want to wait for the fire department," Dean asked calmly. 

"Yes, please yes. I don't, I am."

"Sweatheart, breathe," Dean calms you knowing that your panic is setting in again. "Okay so I am going to grab you here and here," he says putting his hands on your body, " It looks like your shoulder is dislocated so it's going to hurt but be strong for me baby and I will get you out."

Katie gives me a soft smile and nods. giving him his okay. When Dean picks her up, she doesn't scream or yell, doing her best to be strong she simply bits her lip finally letting go when Dean sets her down on the side of the road. He stays close, bringing her back to his chest.

"There we go feel better." Katie hums and nods, no longer feeling the panic of the tight space and know that help was coming.

"Looks like, Your ship has finally hit the fan," Dean says with a small chuckle.

"Did you, really," Katie's body shakes and she feels a wave of pain over her body," Oh fuck that hurts. Did you just quote Balki  from Perfect Strangers?"

"Yeah, I am sorry no more laughing till we get you patched up. I was, I am just happy you are okay, " Dean says pressing his lips to the back of your head. Dean would never tell Katie this but she knows he’s making stupid jokes because it’s the first time he’s allowed himself to breathe since her phone call. 

 The last thing you clearly remember was the light and sirens coming on sense, being grateful in the knowledge that Dean and Sam would be there to help her with the whatever came next.
