2. Their emotional/moral weak spots

With regards to moral weak spots, Midvalley's morals are just not the strongest in the first place? Even prior to working for Knives he was part of the jazz band of death, so I'm assuming his interests laid primarily with money and music, and he didn't really care about stuff like "people's lives" or "moral principles". Emotionally, though... the thing about Midvalley is that he has an extremely strong self-preservation instinct and he's stuck in a situation where no matter what he's really likely to die, and he has no way out. He feels trapped and outmatched, and it's making him scared and desperate. It's really obvious with how he talks about Knives and Vash both; he's fully aware they're out of his league in terms of power, and he knows that if he sticks around he's going to get squashed like a bug. The whole reason he pulls the gambit he does is because at that point he's so desperate to get out that he's acting like a fox in a trap, trying to gnaw off his own limbs to get free.

On another note, while Midvalley doesn't seem to care about other people's lives in general, he does seem to want connection more than most of the Gung-Ho Guns. When he tries to kill Legato he does it in front of the others while trying to convince them to join him, and later we see him and Hoppered forming a sort of bond. This, combined with the fact that he used to work in a group, makes me think that Midvalley doesn't really like being alone very much, and that's a vulnerable spot.

(Wow my answer to this question got long but I think about this a lot)

3. Scars or painful spots

I think he's probably got a number of scars scattered throughout his body, but most visibly his front teeth are chipped a little because he got jarred during a fight with his saxophone's mouthpiece still in his mouth. He's probably also got an insane callus on his thumb due to the thumbrest, and also I hc that despite not being depicted with one he DOES have a harness for Sylvia and it DOES cause back and neck pain. A small price to pay for not worrying about dropping your beloved instrument in the sand though

17. Regrets

Working for Knives. I don't think he regrets hesitating when everyone else went to attack Knives, because that's what kept him alive, but I do think he regrets not doing anything-- not stopping the others, not running away, whatever-- because now he's just... stuck.
