so something i made for a modpack i'm working on right now that i ended up cutting for game design reasons are these two mods that add compatibility for Destroy and Ad Astra to a temperature mod called Cold Sweat called Destructive Temperatures and Mars Popsicle respectively.
figured i'd share them on here so they don't get forgotten about and the work wasn't all for nothing.

I made a quick showcase video of a bunch of the features of my minecraft mod! It's been a year since I promoted it at all so I figured it was about time.

The albatross! Not a rework, but an entire new mob, the albatross will spawn exclusively in ocean biomes. The mob will only land on landmasses that are in ocean biomes until tamed with raw fish. Feeding the albatross raw fish will also grant the player the Luck effect! Hurting it, however, will inflict the player with the Bad Luck effect. The Luck and Bad Luck effects are generally unused in minecraft up to this point, but affect your fishing drop rates exclusively.

Minecraft feels like it doesn’t know what to do for big updates any more so they’re doing like small miscellaneous updates collected together. I wish they’d move on from trying to give them a theme bc I feel like that’s just confusing.
One thing I wish they’d do is do updates from time to time and go back and add pieces to old update. Like maybe add more fish or tree types.
Specifically what made me have this thought is that I’d love if they’d add more to the geodes. Like the amethysts are lovely but I’d love if there was a whole range of crystals to find in geodes!! I feel like that’s along the line of the archaeological stuff they’ve done recently! Digging into the earth for history and stuff!
Also if they ever do a forest update I’d freak out. I’d love if they revamped their nature bc I feel like that part of the over world specifically has been the same since the beginning era of minecraft. Like ocean, nether, caves, villages, NOW FOREST. And end.
Feels like natural progression of their universe growing! And I like feeling like the updates can have a “story” like aspect to me. Especially bc worldbuilding. Favorite idea when it comes to minecraft lore

End Stone Collection(s)
A double-sized portion of blocks for Stonecutter's Paradise today. End Stone Bricks were added before they got really creative with the block types so expanding them out was kind of a fun challenge. Took some inspiration from the Echoing Void DLC from Dungeons but also the Cultured sets are based off the idea of pearl culturing.

the thought of playing uk as my metal sona is just... mmm

Brown hyena! I might go back and tweak the texture more, as I tend to do, but hey, at least I appear to have fixed the z-fighting on the panes of fur on the neck and belly.
and as with all the other yeenas,,, I still need to figure out how to code these guys so they can you know Actually Be In-Game.
I hope they look sufficiently shaggy!

hiiiii again mineblr!!!!! i made another mod!! this time it adds wearable collars that you can dye like leather armor. there's even a variant with a bell!! the texture is based off of the dog/cat collars already in the game. it's called collar trinkets and it's out now for fabric 1.20.1 and you should go check it out!!!

Been a bit since I've done a mob redesign, so here's a redesigned shulker! Originally, the Shulker texture has 66 unique colours- largely due to the fact that it was never updated, and is still from before the texture update happened.
My rework brings this down to 18! I've also resized the head, and changed the texturing on it quite a bit. Shulkers finally also would blend in to purpur blocks, since they're using the actual purpur block palette.
The head resize is largely just a speculative connection between the Blaze (Blaze Rods, Fire Charges), the Breeze (Breeze Rods, Wind Charges), and the Shulker (End Rods, Shulker Bullets?). I'm kinda working on consolidating these mobs into a new mob family, & intend to add some sort ov "Bane of Constructs" type enchant that would deal more damage to these mobs + golems + guardians.
