so something i made for a modpack i'm working on right now that i ended up cutting for game design reasons are these two mods that add compatibility for Destroy and Ad Astra to a temperature mod called Cold Sweat called Destructive Temperatures and Mars Popsicle respectively.
figured i'd share them on here so they don't get forgotten about and the work wasn't all for nothing.

Watching half of my favourite modders switch to newer versions of Minecraft, and the other half either stay on 1.18.2 or abandon the mod, is heart breaking </3

Lenacraft Development Post:
Thanks for all the support guys!! It means a lot. I’m here to answer some questions about the modpack
Q: Will Lenacraft be open to the public?
A: Absolutely!! There will be a public release when it is finished.
Q: What about mods that are part of Lenacraft that cannot be packaged in modpacks, like Distant Horizons and Physics?
A: I 100% respect that. I will provide links to their respective official downloads, along with information on which versions are compatible with Lenacraft.
Q: How is development going?
A: Swimmingly, so far! The version I am playing through (and simultaneously showcasing) is incredibly stable.
Q: Why is it called ‘Lenacraft?’
A: It’s named after my OC. I made this modpack with his gameplay in mind.
Q: What kind of mods are in Lenacraft?
A: Primarily, mods to increase immersion, like Better Combat, First Aid, Parcool, and Coldsweat. Additionally, mods that create good storytelling opportunities, like Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn, Ice and Fire, and Vampirism. If you want to ask about specific mods, feel free!
Q: What loader does Lenacraft use?
A: It uses Forge!
Q: What version of Minecraft does Lenacraft use?
A: 1.20.1
Q: What was that really cool feature I saw in a video/screenshot?
A: Ask away! I’ll tell you the mod to download for it

hi! do YOU want to support a fellow overachieving queer disabled artist for the low low price of $1USD per month? WELL fantastic news: you now can give me money!
in addition to behind-the-scenes patreon-exclusive posts sharing wips, speedpaints, and monthly art dumps, you will also be able to see the process within my beautiful mind as i hop from one artistic endeavour to another. because, yes, this art is not limited to exclusively drawings. you’ll also find creative writing, poetry, maybe an essay or two, textile arts and patterns, video game development, minecraft coding, skin design, and custom modeling, and literally anything else that may catch my interest for the next three months.
this also includes plenty of cool sick free downloads for you. wallpapers, game demos, modpacks, those icons for custom iphone homescreen layouts… you get the idea.
but wait, there’s MORE?? you also get first dibs on deciding what i draw: drawing requests, commission slots, and anything where i ask my audience for advice/suggestions will be opened on my patreon first. remember when i made dress-up games and picrews? when/if i make another one, my patrons will be able to suggest hairstyles, clothing pieces, and other accessories for me to add!
all that for JUST $1?! yup! but if you really want to, there is also a $5 tier. there’s no extra benefits, and all my patrons will be loved and adored equally. but if you want to give me five times the money out of the very goodness of your heart, who am i to stop you?
thanks everyone for all your support! bits aside, i appreciate you all so much and im so grateful for each and every one of you 🫶

Hello! I’m looking to pay someone to put together a Minecraft modpack for my partner and I. Where can I go that is best suited for finding someone to do this? More detailed information below:
I’ve organized a list of the mods I am interested in in a spreadsheet noting the following information:
- Name
- Creator
- Type (mod, resource pack, etc.)
- Available Format (Forge, Fabric, both, etc.)
- Most Recent Version Compatibility (ex. 1.21.4)
- Category (ex. World Gen)
- Subcategory (ex. Structures)
- Link
- Description (a few sentences copied and pasted from the page)
The total list contains about 370 items, but many are duplicate versions in different formats. If I were to only use Fabric items, there would be about 210 available, and if I were to use Forge items, there would be about 310 available. I would really like to find a way to use both Fabric and Forge items if possible as there are many mods I am extremely interested in that do not have alternative formats. Additionally, this list comprises every mod I could find that I thought we would be interested in. I am sure several mods may be redundant or some may be incompatible, but I have virtually zero experience working with mods and modpacks so I am uncertain as to which ones would be categorized as such. I can update the list to reflect prioritized preferences if that is helpful, but I would also appreciate any advice or input you may have on which ones to keep or others you could suggest. I also tried to include required compatibility mods as I worked through each item but may have missed some.
Through the power of ADHD hyperfixation I was able to put this list together, but my schedule is generally incredibly full from school and work. I will be unlikely to have the time or energy to learn the coding necessary to put a well-functioning modpack together. Besides, if I’m going to learn any coding, I’m going to learn Python as that is most applicable for my field.
As such, I’m really hoping to find someone with knowledge or experience in Minecraft modding and modpack development to work on the project for me, and I am more than happy and able to pay for it.
We can discuss rates privately as I am unfamiliar with the time commitment associated with these kinds of projects, but please trust that I intend to pay fairly and generously! This is a huge help for me and I deeply appreciate your time and dedication in your work.
Please reach out if you are interested! I am most available to discuss in the late afternoon or evening (Central Time).
TL;DR Where can I find someone I can pay to develop a modpack for Minecraft?

one thing I'd like a lot more minecraft modpack developers to do is just cut stuff with wild abandon. "i don't think desert wells, ruined portals, and phantoms fit in my modpack" but like, go further. "i don't think crops fit in my modpack" "i don't think strongholds, the nether, or end fit in my modpack" etc. armor? bye. the log/plank/stick chain? bye. etc.

blog intro!!
hi all! my name is sol, my pronouns are he/xe/it and this is going to be my general, writing-centric blog!
i'm very new to tumblr as a whole, but i've been itching to show my writing to a larger audience so a good friend of mine encouraged me to make a blog here.
some info about me:
i've been writing for 10-11 years now
i rp on occasion and have been doing so for about 3 years
i play dnd, an assortment of roblox games (namely doors, pressure, and phantom forces), ultrakill, and i'm a sucker for horror media
as for what i write, most of my content centers around two main writing projects and their core oc's, as well as whatever au's i've come up with over time.
a lot of my writing assumes some knowledge of the characters involved as i usually write for an audience of approximately 3 people, but under the cut i'll include some basic info to help out strangers! (once i figure out how tumblr works, i'll also add links to more in-depth intro posts for each character.)
spindle / uriel
essentially an adaptation of an ongoing rp i'm doing with my girlfriend! it's heavily based off a minecraft modpack we played on for a bit, but also includes some original elements.
in short, it follows spindle, an arachnid traveler on a journey to the end. they meet up with uriel, a fallen angel who eventually accompanies them on the trip—unwillingly at first, but eventually they grow close.
spindle's intro post
uriel's intro post placeholder
adam / nightfall
another project that's still in progress! this story follows adam, a simple country boy living in rural arkansas—and then what happens when he encounters a rogue lab experiment, accidentally snared in his backyard.
adam's intro post placeholder
nightfall's intro post
other projects/characters i might mention
d&d - i'm in 3 campaigns currently and my characters have a special niche in my head
unnamed writing/worldbuilding thing - a larger-scale project taking place in a future world ravaged by war. heavily inspired by phantom forces on roblox but it's mostly my own developments. it's about 50% scifi, 50% fantasy adjacent. i made an entire magic system. help me

Hey guys it's my birthday today! I sadly don't have much to offer you, since my state hasn't been the best lately. What i will offer you, is this little video a friend made about our little minecraft faction :)
Here is the NSP video :)
(i hope it turns into a link?? Idk how this works)
Hope you guys like it, now onto some faction lore! (And member appreciation)
All goes back to early 2024 summer, i was bored out of my mind, fresh out of (or into? I don't remember exactly) exams and decided to join a create minecraft server, i picked one called "Hyperion SMP". There, after around a day of playing, i decided to ask someone to team up, this someone was called TDM (TheDiamondMan). We created the faction together, which was simply named Sola Punctum back then, aka. "Lone Point", as we had settled far away from everyone else in the west.
We began grinding and soon, RiftyNic had joined us, our team grew larger, a small handful of people had come and gone, but the people mentioned here have stayed until now. Thanks to our great advances, we accidentally caused the server to chunk lock us at our base, forcing it to advance to the next season.
In the next season we renamed to "Nova Sola Punctum" (New Lone Point), we had a similar plan, travel west and grow big. That was where Galaxy joined us (although i don't remember him being online very often). As planned, we grew big, in a sort of mountain crater we had found, building separate sites around the mountains and a national railway. This time, the season slowly died out due to inactivity.
That was when we all decided we would join a new server, "Create Civilisation SMP". That was where we met the rest of the team, Orion, Kross, Hunter and Lightning. We did not disappoint and thanks to our new members, we had grown bigger than ever, grand builds decorating our base, resources overflowing in our storage and fond memories, kept forever in all of us.
We've gone through ups and downs, crazy or chaotic moments shared in secret, in our private channels and DMs. Countless -mostly sleep deprived- hours spent in game or in VC, chatting away about anything that came to mind. Sometimes we'd play other games, like Green Hell, a horror minecraft modpack we'd made, lethal company, content warning, even the most random discord activities, like Krunker, Youtube, gartic phone or chess. Problems were overcome, challenges were stomped on and completed, skills were developed. Our bond only became stronger as time went on, trust and loyalty shown through jokes, secrets and messages shared between us. Every single one of them was important and amazing all throughout.
I wouldn't change a thing.
Due to inactivity, NSP has slowed down, that's just how life is, it sometimes gets in the way. I hope this summer we can come back, stronger and better than ever. Until then, i love you guys.
Special thanks to Kross, for being there for me in the late (or early, depending how you look at it) hours of the night (or morning), offering me company, advice and -even if he might've not known it- comfort when i felt down. We were a formidable duo, even if sometimes i pushed a tad bit too much. I don't think i could ever show how much i appreciate him.
Some more Credits (in no specific order).
Thanks to TDM, for being so laid back when I'd act like an idiot, or mess up, bringing order the best he could or taking up jobs i didn't want to or couldn't deal with at the time.
Thanks to Lightning, for chatting with me when I'd feel lonely.
Thanks to Hunter, for being silly and making the NSP video and reminding me how grateful i am to have them all.
Thanks to Nic, for being the brightest friend, his funny antics always made me cheer up and laugh, his random moments of weird weren't always expected, but always welcome, his builds intricate and beautiful, decorating our bases all throughout.
Thanks to Galaxy, for offering his great ideas, helping me with create when needed, and spending quality time in Green Hell together when nobody else would.
Thanks to Orion, for always showing me the wrong in my ways - even if he made my anxiety spike at times-, for being a great coder and an even greater coordinator.
And the rest of you, you know who you are.

Hi all, Welcome to the Economy Experiment, now online at EconomyExperiment.us.to. The modded 1.19.2 server simulates what it would be like to put a full thriving government and economy system in minecraft. Build shops, form a country, infiltrate and sabotage political rivals, and become rich, or die trying.
Lets set the Rules of the server.
Rule 1: all players must either own or work for a shop, and be part of, or citizen of a government.
Rule: 2 the players must assemble at least one government of some kind. A government must contain 5 members to form.
Rule 3: the governments set all other rules, programs, and aid, unrelated to server administration.
Rule 4: war and sabotage is allowed but excessive griefing (beyond necessary) is strictly forbidden. Both factions must also agree to a war beforehand, and lay out the terms of what's acceptable in the war.
Rule 5: there will be a bimonthly competition between governments where they are assessed based on:
-Economy
-Infrastructure
-Developed Landmass
-Asthetic
-Activity
Winners will receive special rewards.
Rule 6: Hate speech, harassment, hacking, bullying will not be tolerated. We maintain a safe environment. Quips and roasts may be issued in good fun, but if anyone feels actually and personally threatened or hurt by any action / message / other will result in immediate action.
Looking forward to seeing you on the server

Pinned Post:
Howdy!! I’m making a modpack that’s a revival of an older one I made years ago on the 1.16.5 version of Java Minecraft. This new pack is bringing it to 1.20.1!
It’s a personal project, but it’s pretty cool, so I figured I’d post development updates as I work on.
My OC’s name is Lena. He originally was created using the MCA Reborn character creation system, and he’s also a vampire (Vampirism mod.) To clarify, he is merely an OC, not a persona. Me and him are different in many ways. But he’s the mascot of this project, so you’ll see him around a lot!!
The genre of this pack is that of a wilderness-dominated fantasy world. The frontiers are filled with just as beautiful fauna as they are wild beasts and vicious monsters. Civilizations exist in scattered little villages, an attempt at peace amongst the chaos.
The world is brutal, but beautiful. Life is what you make it.
I want it to have elements of exploration and horror, but also cozy slice of life stuff like those cute furniture and cooking mods.

I've started a single-player minecraft world using the dragon modpack i developed for my server a few months back, and in keeping with tradition of that server i've been writing in a little journal about everything i do in the game.
The problem now is that it's grown from simple journal entries to full on world-building exercises where my dragon character speculates on ancient culture and events leading up to the disappearance of a large dragon civilization that previously inhabited the land, which involves the creation of factions, a calendar, even reasoning behind certain mob's existence and hostility towards the character :| it was not supposed to be this deep

Hopeful Postapocalyptic Games
So I'm going to put this out there:
What I want is a game that's a post-apocalyptic sim about picking up the pieces and fixing the world around you. Think if you took Sun Haven or Stardew Valley but your farm was a mostly-dead patch of earth and your goal was reviving it. There are games that get halfway there. If Terra Nil was a first-person game and you had to construct all those components and manage your own exposure to the environment a bit? Yeah, I could go for that. no Place Like Home is too cartoonish and Silly Mode for what I want. (I'm sorry, I don't want a chicken disco, or cows in bunny ears, or a magic vacuum that slurps up piles of trash.)
Junkpunk could go there, but the the development there has been using Art Plagiarism Programs for concepting, at the very least.
The closest I've ever encountered was the Regrowth HQM modpack for Minecraft 1.7.10, and it hasn't been updated in six and a half years, and never got fully finished as far as I know. I dunno. I just feel like, here and now, with the world literally on fire in more than a few places, this is a game niche that could do with some exploration and development. Games that say "Yes, things can get terrible, but that's no reason to give up hope."
If you know of something that fits the bill, please do let me know?
Edit: Just to clarify, I don't want the combined pressure of a stamina meter and fast-passing day to "encourage gameplay" - one of the things I most appreciate about Sun Haven is that there's no stamina and I can set the length of the day from 20 to 40 real-world minutes to give myself time to accomplish things without feeling pressured.
If the world's already ended and I'm rebuilding it, I don't need the poison logic of capitalism breathing down my neck, y'know?
