Henry Fox has given up on love. He has no desire to be in a relationship, and he doesn't miss it at all, except the times his house is so quiet the wind outside seems to echo. Or when he sits down to eat dinner in silence aside from David’s whimpering at his feet. Maybe when he crawls in a king-sized bed at night, with only a beagle to take up the rest of the space. But that's fine, all of it, he is more than capable of being by himself- in the vast emptiness that was a rural Texas night. He doesn't need anyone, certainly not Alex Claremont-Diaz and his insistence that he knows how to keep hookups casual.

Hey, Just wanted to ask you or any of your mutuals, is it possible to almost or completely recover from adhd? Also, if anyone is on meds for the same and is getting better, do they develop hypersensitivity (which they did not have before)to stimulants like caffeine, or certain painkillers, or anti fever meds?

No, you can’t “recover” from ADHD. That’s because ADHD isn’t an illness - it’s not something that develops. We are born with it, and it’s simply a different way of thinking.

Medication can help lessen the symptoms while we’re on it, but only while we’re on it. There won’t be a point where... you’ve taken enough medication and can come off it and feel Neurotypical. ( Though some people might decide to stop taking medication because they’ve developed coping mechanisms and can do okay without the meds now. )

And I’ll leave the other question open to my followers! I know that some people have said they can’t drink caffeine anymore after starting meds, because it makes them feel sick. ( Presumably, because their medications are stimulants, so adding caffeine - another stimulant - is a bit too much for them to handle. )

But Shaleen is a good representation of a lesbian side character. Her lesbianness was implied but not baited. She existed naturally. And she's super cool.

If you are still doing character asks, i have one, Neville Longbottom

Sexuality Headcanon: Dude, I don’t know. I don’t think I’ve even thought of it before. I can literally see him as anything. He could be gay, bi, straight, pan, asexual or aromantic, whatever you want. 

Gender Headcanon: Same with this. I don’t really think about characters gender identity much (I guess that’s an advantage of being cis (okay maybe not advantage but I don’t know what other word to use hopefully you get the point)). All headcannons of this are valid tbh.  

A ship I have with said character: I don’t really ship him with anyone. I mean, I used to ship him with Luna, but then I watched this video, and it made me realize that they wouldn’t really work as romantic partners. Neville’s date with Ginny to the Yule Ball was also really cute, but I don’t think they ever had any romantic feelings for each other. Neville just wanted to go with a friend. 

A BROTP I have with said character: Him and Luna. While I don’t think they would work well together in a relationship, I think they compliment each other as friends very well. 

A NOTP I have with said character: Nuna then I guess. Then I don’t really have a problem with anyone shipping them lol, I just don't agree. 

A random headcanon: After the war especially I think he grew into himself more and became more confident and charming. So much so that all of his students would love him and be really surprised if they found out that he wasn't very popular at all in school. 

General Opinion over said character: I mean, he’s Neville. Of course he’s fantastic. I’m pretty sure him killing Nagini was the most badass moment in all of the books. As the years have went by I’ve slowly turned my attention away from Neville to other characters, but I have always loved him. In fact, the first time I ever cried while reading the HP books (well, my mom read them to me,  but whatever) was in Prisoner of Azkaban when Sirius gets into the common room because he found Neville’s password note and McGonagall got fucking furious at him and punished him by saying he wasn’t allowed to know the password and if he wanted to get in he would have to wait for another student. She legit screamed at him in front of the entire common room and Neville felt so ashamed. Eight-year-old me felt so sorry for him that I started crying my eyes out. I cried so much mom had to stop her reading to calm me down before she could continue. I remember absolutely sobbing while screaming “Why does to always have to be Neville?! Why?!”

he would be sweet as hell, especially with little kids. his voice would go gentle and soft, as he tries to make them see that it’s okay. he’d have a packet of tissues, and would always be offering hugs, and would crack little jokes, while cheering them up. there would just be something about his voice and the way he talks that would make anyone believe that everything is going to be okay.

I came across your caffeine post, tbh i always feel drained without coffee, if i ever have to get any work done, my first instinct is to get some coffee and/or put on music. I read that Caffeine can be very bad for people with anxiety, (i have bad anxiety). I did decide to limit my caffeine intake to just weekends but then i just couldn't actively function on weekdays. So i am back to drinking coffee in the morning. I don't know about others but it kinda helps me focus

Yeah, if we have ADHD it does help us focus!
