it's about. it's about the doubles. the mirrors. it's about "you're not the first." it's about variations on a theme. it's about how hera and rhea are anagrams. it's about how lovelace and eiffel mirror each other along with lambert and minkowsi but also it's about how lovelace mirrors minkowski and lambert mirrors eiffel. it's about the time loops. it's about the memory that hera can never stop reliving. it's about lovelace being a clone of herself. it's about pryce and hera having the same voice. it's about the dear listeners reflecting our own music and speech right back at us. you know?

[ID: Two digital drawings of Jonathan Sims, an indian man with short black hair and glasses, with a fluffy gray cat. The first drawing is a close up from the chest up as he holds the cat to his face, they’re both smiling with their eyes closed, her little nose touching his. The second drawing is sketchier, also of Jon holding the cat on his arms as she lays on his chest, with the dialogue “Her name is Lieutenant Commander (Lieutenant for short)”, a text bubble of an off screen Tim saying “Lulu!” and him replying “No!”. //End ID]

Minkowski: I want to show you a picture from last night that really upset me.
Eiffel: Okay, but in my defense, Lovelace bet me fifty cents that I couldn’t drink all that shampoo.
Minkowsi: That’s not what I wanted to—you drank shampoo?

Transcendental Surrealism in visual arts and modern era…
A discussion with the visual artist-architect Mr Giorgios (Gio) Vassiliou
Odysseus's return-the decisive instant 110x70cm oi on canvas
A new Surrealism which conveys an idea of what man is capable of achieving, when he is released from his shackles and looks free at the cosmic becoming as well as himself! He is carried by the Visual artist-Architect Mr Giorgos (Gio) Vassiliou , calling him Transcendental. Historically, it was presented in the summer (July) of 2018 at the Historical Archives-Museum of Hydra-Greece***.
According to the rapporteur of this new proposal,
it is the progressive development of Surrealism, as presented in the beginning of the 20th Century.
«I asked a child holding a candle:
Where did your light come from?
He immediately turned it off and told me:
If you tell me where it went I will tell you
where it came from!»
Poem by Hasan of Basra
Giorgios (Gio) Vassiliou was born in Athens in 1970.International recognized as the inventor and founder of Transcendental Surealism in visual arts. He Studied Architecture at Westminster University (London) and Life Drawing. He has been involved in the arts since his childhood and has presented his works in important art galleries in Athens. Many prominent Greek art historians have written official reviews on the evolution and importance of his work, such as: Stelios Lidakis, Georgios Prokopiou, Athena Schina, M. Georgousi, etc. During his many years of artistic research and development, he gradually developed and presented his own artistic style, a new proposal in the visual arts, Transcendental Surrealism. Artworks of him can be found in major Private Collections.
"We all know, Mr. Vassiliou notes, that every season .......
"It simply came to our notice then, that this very idea had to dress up itself and come out in the daylight. Its dress in this charge of it, is the very vision that gives its breath and substance. The subjective nature of the vision is called to be realized, to become real and to be externalized as something with a material existence. This is exactly what happens with the vision of Transcendental Surrealism (TS), descending from the subjective heights that emanates and "lands" in our natural world.
The nature of a vision (as we all know) is to travel us, to fly to unprecedented heights, to transport us to unknown places and dimensions. However, just as vision includes its "flight", it must also have a "takeoff" as well as a safe "landing". Only under this condition, a vision respects itself, when it includes in its manifestation a complete cosmic cycle of events. "
has very special conditions, which define and characterize it, as unique and unrepeatable in the space-time continuum. These conditions give birth to or create "We all know, Mr. Vassiliou notes, that every season is inspired by special conditions, which define and characterize it, as unique and unrepeatable in the space-time continuum. These conditions give birth to or create from their very essence, this entity identity that directs the conquests and aspirations of this historical period. Here in this new proposal, we are primarily interested in the vision of that accompanies the starting idea.
In the vision that concerns T. S. ., as its founder and inventor , Giorgios (Gio) Vassiliou, hopes that the aforementioned condition will be met, in order to offer us safe and complete flights in the future.
The saying "that art follows life" is also known, but sometimes life follows art, and this has HAPPENED lots of times. In Transcendental Surealism the notion of "reasonable time" and causality is collapsing, because the future comes to meet the present and the aftermath! Let us now look at the necessity and usefulness of the Transcendental Surealism not only in the visual arts, but also in the age in which we live and which is creatively integrated. First of all, I must (but I must) refer to the transcendental element, which is the dominant synthetic factor of The T. S..
By definition, the transcendental element is an extraterrestrial or exocosmic conception of another kind of "superior" impression on our world. While it is intended for the here and now, however, its origin (potentially at least) is not of this world!
And, I am referring to this subtle and refined factor, which expands our perception, after all, it is transcendent that transcends our understanding, expands it , if you will, to unprecedented proportions compared to before.
Painting of
Imagine a vast horizon, which as we approach it expands and opens up new dimensions in our visible and invisible spectrum!
Historically, the Transcendental Element has existed, like flashes, since the time of the caves in the human factor! Then humo erectus recognizes that the natural elements (that surround him) surpass him, the sun and the stars surpass him, he begins and sets foot on the transcendental element, ending up with the approach of the divine factor that transcends everything.
Giorgios (Gio) Vassiliou :Collecting the quintessence of life/oil on canvas /135x70cm
"There, somewhere in the depths of history, begins the journey of the search for the transcendent in the human race. The Transcendental Element, it seems, has always been and is (still) intertwined with man's religious or theological existence, as if there were only a means to it.
And, I explain the above conclusion: man seems to be made like an apartment building, his consciousness resides in only one or two at most three floors. Its transcendental nature is found and exists only on the upper floors.
All that remains is to inhabit them so that they do not remain uninhabited! That is, the upper floors are also our home, so we need to get to know them, finally, to inhabit them, as we do with the lower floors. In addition, we can say that if the ground floor is our normal (mostly instinctive) life, the first is our emotions with dreams and the second is our intellect, from there on there is our transcendent floor. That is, we must go up and settle on these floors. This is our future and our destination as humankind! "
And this very fact, through the T. S. , will prove to be a natural factor of human existence and not only through its religious nature. In a way, we are structured to function "transcendentally", beyond all others. We can function, not only logically or mentally or emotionally, we can also "transcendentally".
Over time in arts and literature, the Transcendental element was, with flashes, present in many works throughout the centuries.
It is worth mentioning: the Opus of Gilgamesh, the Iliade and the Odyssey, Sufi poetry, Christian transcendental texts, Byzantine hagiography, the Virgin of the rocks of Leonardo da Vinci and others.
"But even in the most recent years, such as: Jesus of St. John of the Cross by Dali, the crazy pomegranate – poem of O. Elytis, Nietzsche’s Zarathustra, the Nibelungen ring of Richard Wagner, etc. I must also mention the participation of science in the transcendental, in addition to modern quantum physics, which has as its given information: the spirit, world consciousness, the overthrow of the law of causality, etc.
But let's take a closer look at the Minkowski diagrams, which, in addition to the two space-time cones, also have the factor "elsewhere" = somewhere else or something else.
The most obvious scientific allusion to the transcendental (in my opinion) is the so-called 4-dimensional Minkowski diagrams. Scientifically, the diagrams of German mathematician Herman Minkowski accompany A. Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, presenting the unity of space with time. They show us in the most obvious way that there is no space without time, just the opposite. These two fundamental quantities exist as a unit in the universe of relativity, where we all live, move and exist! The same goes for the microcosm of man and the Transcendental element. Human factor and Transcendental element, it is a unity that we must discover and understand.
This "elsewhere" is an undefined but real factor.
In the role of "elsewhere" can we assume that the super-logical or transcendental element is the most appropriate to place?
The current and prevailing systems have their "axioms" as well as their "laws", and, it seems, are inspired by a dominant factor, which as another God rules them in their own particular way. Everyone wants to get along with this "God" because he provides "happiness" to anyone who is a faithful follower of him!
As for glory (because of the well-known saying: money many hated glory nobody), I must say that today with the power of money, even glory can be acquired or something like that…
"In order to complete this first level of approach of the T. S. , I have to cite some data regarding the time we live in and the acceptance of the transcendental in it. Our age is characterized as "the age of speed" but also of stress. The transitory and the fleeting are dominant everywhere, as never before in history.
This "current God" of our time, it seems that in his total domination of human consciousness has been overturned unilaterally. Now, it seems that the cosmic scales are tilting a lot. A second factor (second voltage on the scales) is needed to adequately balance the human-world system. Now, I have to say in detail that money only provides strength and power when accumulated in quantity by a person. The quantity factor, is what is sought in anyone, who seeks "modern happiness." The amount of money circulating around the world is like the corresponding amount of blood flowing in our veins and arteries. But I ask: where rests the quality to balance quantity? The second balancing factor is only the quality, which seems to be in search. But we must not forget (nor confuse) quality with anything else.
Minkowsi diagram (image above)
So in this current period, the "current God" or the "current material God" or "the one who is finally in fashion" seems to be represented by money and its accessories.
Quality is not a quantitative factor, it is like the salt that flavors the food or the aroma that enlivens the atmosphere. It is a subtle and refined factor, therefore hard to find, in the material world of the quantity we live.
"All these elements over the years have created a need for artistic expression within me. My accumulated quantity was looking for its balancing quality.
So fatal, at some point I felt it was time for this inner event to manifest itself. And what better way to make it visible to everyone through painting, the oldest of the visual arts, which directly concerns human vision, so that it becomes a visible event for everyone. It is now clear that there was a historical need to present the transcendental element in a structured artistic proposition and philosophy.
The next step is to explain why the visual movement of Surrealism was chosen to accompany, in this journey, the transcendental
Surrealism (Surealism = Sur-Realisme = Upper Reality or Over-Reality) by definition refers to a higher level, than the real one, of human perception and understanding. It was historically presented at the beginning of the 20th century. by Andre Breton and his circle (Daly, Ernst, Magritte, etc.) and came from the liberation movement of Dandaism that preceded little time. It was based on three key elements, to express the new perception and approach they offer us, in terms of understanding our world. These were the following:
a) The dream element
Gio Vassiliou artwork :Transcendental woman 60x60cm oil on canvas
Quality, you say, seems to require a struggle to be acquired, not bought, nor is it readily available. It is this direction that characterizes it. Is quality the denominator in the cosmic fraction of the modern age?
b) Associative thinking-free association thoughts
c) Automatic writing
These three factors present a different perception from the real one. Impressions are gained in a fluid, global, diffused way, not from the natural world, but from a parallel stream of thought that runs parallel to life but is not the same as it is.
"There is a shift in the perception of impressions, from the real, to a semi-subjective level, based on the three main points of reference that we mentioned a little while ago.
G. Vassiliou :Long day’s journey into night /oil on canvas /80x60cm
These three factors on which the expression of Surrealism was based, certainly and unquestionably, stand above our natural world, where everything in the cycle of activities almost happens to us, because they are just happened automatically, instinctively and mechanically. But all three factors of Surrealism belong to a semi-conscious or subconscious nature if you want, reducing the participation of consciousness that is also required in our evolution. Concequently, I do not decide when and what I will dream, or when will never have free associative thinking! What happens to me subconsciously in the "I" is not the driver of the human vehicle, but just a passenger!
The need for a more conscious framework than Surrealism seems to be more evident than ever. So my personal study and observation led me to the presentation of Transcendental Surrealism, which combines all the aforementioned elements together into a single and organized whole for the first time in the visual arts and the human intellect. Of course, we still have a lot to say about this event in the future, which will become more extensive in future posts.
Concluding, Mr. Vassiliou states,, "from the bottom of his heart" that Transcendental Surealism is just beginning its long journey in human history and has many destinations and ports to visit. He wishes that in some of these ports (or even airports due to the "flight mentioned above") we all meet and get to know each other better "not only naturally but also transcendentally".

Issues In Trust
Characters: November, Mike, Lima, Oscar, Romeo, Quebec
Word Count: 2,175
Trigger Warning: Swearing, Fighting, Death
A/N: So… I’m not a big fan of this ending but hey I’m still figuring out how to write these things. But it’s the end so that’s good I guess. Also I’m a bit of a dumb-dumb and completely forgot some important characteristics writing this thing.
Parts: X, X, X, X, X
Summary: November and her boys are tasked with protecting a Navy SEAL. But in the world of espionage you never know who you can trust. Especially when the person you’re supposed to save won’t trust you. Click that read more if you want.
XXXXX
Quebec reached down and wrapped an arm around Romeo’s upper body. Romeo winced in pain but nodded that he was ready. Pulling him up from the floor slowly Q guided his friend to a standing position. Once he was back on his own two feet Romeo nudged out of Quebec’s grasp. Despite needing his friend’s help Romeo wanted to show that he was indeed capable. Even if he was only capable of standing and walking at the moment.
Don’t be a baby, he said to himself, you can do this.
Romeo teetered for a second and Quebec shot him a worried look. But he righted himself quickly enough and smiled. He could do this. He needed to do this. Q smiled back and went to work gathering all of Romeo’s bloody clothes, and bloody towels, from the floor. Once he had them in his hands he left Romeo to watch Minkowski. He carried the clothes to the bathroom and emptied them into the sink. They piled inside the small sink and made a small mound. Patting his pockets he searched for the lighter he knew he had somewhere. After a minute or two he found it.
Flicking the wheel ignited a flame and he threw the lighter onto the pile.
It had to be enough since he did not have his kit with him so he didn’t have any lighter fluid or gasoline. Nothing to fuel the fire and completely destroy the evidence. If Quebec was being honest with himself he felt naked without his gear. He felt helpless with only the pocket knife even though he could turn anything into a weapon if the need arose. None of those facts changed how he felt.
“Q, he’s waking up!”
He shook his head and watched the flames for a minute. Then he left the bathroom and stared at Douglas Minkowski. He stirred and began to come around. Quebec really wanted to shoot this man where he sat and he just needed the right reason. What Minkowski did to the two of them was reason enough in his book but other people would disagree. And besides there was the fact that the man wanted to kill everyone involved in H.E.R.A.C.L.E.S. This man had to die for that and that alone.
The blood on his face had dried and turned a dark red; crusting over his lips and his broken nose. His left eye was swollen shut and bruises had already formed around it; staining the skin with color. He looked ghastly.
And yet he still laughed; “Heh. Heh. You think you’ve won this fight? I may be down but I’m not out. I’m still alive so that means something. And you two are still alone in here with me. We’ll just have to see who leaves here alive tonight.”
“Oh sod off you bleeding tosser.”
“You seem angry little man. I wonder why that is? Oh right. My boys got you pretty good.”
“Knock him out again, mate, I’m tired of listening to this sod. I’m going to try the comm. link he’s definitely lying about that.”
Quebec ignored Romeo and crossed over to Minkowski. The petty officer tried to back away when he saw the look of death in Quebec’s eyes. Kneeling down in front of the man Quebec’s face was not five inches from the other man’s face. Too close for comfort. He grabbed Minkowski’s left hand, the one he had stepped on earlier, and squeezed. His face scrunched up in anger as he squeezed harder. Minkowski’s face twisted in pain but he refused to let a single sound leave his lips.
Then he laughed; “You can’t do anything to me. You don’t even exist to the rest of the world. You don’t have any badges or id to show that you have any authority. So what’s stopping me from calling the police and arresting the both of you?”
He scoffed and turned his shoulder so that it faced Minkowski. Quebec pointed at the U.S. flag patch on his uniform. Tapped it twice for emphasis. Then he turned the opposite direction and tapped the H.E.R.A.C.L.E.S. logo patch. He turned back to face Minkowski with a serious look.
“Badges? We ain’t got no badges! We don’t need no badges! I don’t need to show you no stinking badges!”
“I’ll get you for this,” Minkowski said through grit teeth, “I’ll get all of you.”
Now it was Quebec’s turn to laugh. The sound of it sent a chill down Minkowski’s spine. Quebec dug a finger into the knife wound in Minkowski’s thigh. The man winced in pain and Q stared him straight in the eye and said; “I will look for you, I will find you. And I will kill you.”
“You’re a funny guy.”
“You mean I’m funny like I’m a clown? I amuse you?”
Minkowski nodded.
“Leave him alone, Q,” Romeo interrupted. “He likes pushing your buttons, mate. You leave him alone and he won’t bother you.”
Quebec nodded and started to get up from the floor. But just before he did he spit on Minkowski’s face. The man grimaced in disgust and wiped the spit off with his hand. Quebec smiled and rose to his feet. Romeo nudged him slightly and pointed to his ear but said nothing. Quebec understood immediately and tapped his comm. to life.
“We’re too far away from them to actually call them. Send the distress signal.”
He tapped his comm. three times in a row and whispered; “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.”
XXXXX
November told the others her plan. Those in charge of H.E.R.A.C.L.E.S. had created two separate solutions to problems such as this one. The triple tap was one. And the trackers that each and every operative had embedded into the muscle of their inner thigh was the other. Whether these were created so that the handlers could keep better tabs on the ops or for moments like this one November didn’t know. She was just grateful that she remembered these things existed.
They decided to try the triple tap first.
“Good idea, Em,” Lima said. “If they’re still alive they definitely would’ve used the triple tap.”
“And sent out a distress signal,” she added with a nod.
But there still was the problem of distance. If they were too far away from the boys then none of their comms would catch the signal from the other ones. And the same went for the trackers. So they piled into the car and went back the way they came. November had an idea and just hoped that her hunch was right. They were always told to never assume things. It was one of the rules after all.
However there was nothing else they could do.
As Mike drove through the streets of Los Angeles, back to the safe house they were at the day before, the others tried the comm. link. So far nothing had came through. The group drove in silence for the most part. Only interrupting the monotony of it with short questions or comments. But the group had reached a consensus about what to do with Minkowski when they found him.
He was going to die.
It didn’t matter that they were supposed to protect this man with their lives. He changed the mission objective the moment he took their men. He hit them where he knew it would hurt. Minkowski had upset the balance and now he was going to pay.
“Smith is going to kill us,” Lima muttered nervously.
“No she won’t Bubba,” Mike said looking over at Lima. “She won’t do a thing. Want to know why?”
“Why?”
“’Cause we’re doin’ the right thing. We’re protectin’ our own.”
“No. We’re not,” Lima shot back. “We’re doing the complete opposite of the right thing, Mike! We’re going against orders and she’s going to kill us for it.”
“Don’t worry, Li,” Oscar said from the back of the car.
“Smith is probably not telling us everything that’s going on here. And who knows? She might want us to kill him.”
An hour or so later they made it back to Minkowsi’s safe house. There they tried the triple tap again. And sure enough their comms began emitting a light beeping. Faint and faraway it meant that they were close enough to get a signal but not close enough to be near where the signal was coming from.
But they had hope.
XXXXX
Romeo and Quebec both watched Minkowski. The man had recovered enough to stand on his feet. He wasn’t fully recovered of course but he was still dangerous in his condition. And with the added disadvantage of being without the proper weaponry they had nothing to threaten him with.
But Minkowski didn’t have any weapons either.
Stumbling on his feet the Navy SEAL tried to walk towards them.
Quebec took up a fighting stance. He wasn’t going to let this man hurt Romeo again. He didn’t care if he got hurt in the process but Romeo was already down and out once this mission. There was the possibility that he wouldn’t survive another. And so Quebec was more than ready to attack. He was about a foot or even less away from Minkowski; in range for a couple attacks.
Suddenly Minkowski swung a harsh left hook.
Ducking underneath the blow Quebec dodged it. But he came back up quickly enough to send a right hook into Minkowski’s gut. The man doubled over slightly and held the spot Q hit. His face scrunched up in pain.
“I told you I was down but not out,” he said between breaths. “But you didn’t listen. And now I’m going to kill you all.”
Quebec shrugged; “Mama says, ‘Stupid is as stupid does.’”
Minkowski rushed at him but Quebec moved out of the way just in time. Romeo snuck up behind the petty officer and kicked him in the back of the knee. His left leg gave out from underneath him and he kneeled on one foot. Breathing heavily he sat in that position for a minute or two.
The door to the apartment opened slowly and with a slight creak. The three men turned to look. Minkowski had a confused expression on his face but Romeo and Quebec knew exactly what was happening. The Navy SEAL turned to them with an angry look.
“But I ruined your comms! How could you call for back up?”
Romeo smiled; “That’s our little secret, Minkowski.”
The group entered the apartment with death in their eyes. But once they saw the other guys their expressions brightened into smiles. Mike threw Quebec a gun. He caught it with a sick and twisted smile. Cocking back the hammer he pointed it directly at Minowski’s forehead. As he did so he saw the Navy SEAL shake in fear. And that made him smile wider.
“You expect me to come quietly do you?”
“No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die.”
With that Quebec shot him in the head. Then he shot Minkowski once more. Double tapping a target was always something they were told to do. Even after years and years of doing this job that never changed. Minkowski’s body fell forward and then fell to the floor with a thud.
The others had searched the apartment in the meantime. The bedroom held more than enough evidence to justify the man’s execution. There were many notebooks with countless information on the operatives Minkowski worked with all those years ago. And a map of what he suspected the HERACLES base to look like hung on the wall. Opposite that, on the other wall was a world map and photos of operatives were taped up on the edges. Each photo had names written on them in red marker and were connected by a red string. The red strings all lead back to Afghanistan which was circled over and over again.
The words Never Forget were scrawled above the circle.
November tapped her comm. and called their handler for an extraction.
What about the SEAL?
“He’s dead. We killed him for what he did to Ro and Q. And because he had detailed plans to take out every operative.” Silence rang through the comm. and November waited for her handler to start berating her.
We suspected Minkowski had ulterior motives and needed to be disposed of but we weren’t sure. I’ll send Cleaners to gather the evidence. Make your way to the extraction point.
Good work.
They all breathed sighs of relief when their handler signed off. November was thankful that everyone was relatively okay; except for Romeo. But he would be properly patched up once they got back to base. And they were all safe from both Minkowski. It was good day.
Mike turned to Lima with a smile; “What did I tell you, Bubba, there was nothin’ to worry ‘bout. We’re fine.”
“Well, you did almost kill us all earlier,” Oscar said with a laugh.
“Okay, someone needs to fill us in on what we missed,” Romeo said as they left the apartment.

Paper ini ditulis Pangeran Prancis Louis de Broglie, salah satu nobelis klasik. Nampak ide dualismenya juga menggunakan geometri Minkowski. .

[ID: The sketches of two comic pages and an interlude between them, featuring in order: Renée Minkowski, Hera, Doug Eiffel, and Alexander Hilbert.
In the first page the first two panels are Minkowsi and Hera chatting, the former writing something down on a clipboard, when the light go out around them and she says "Oh, looks like it's starting! hush!" as both of them look ahead now. Next, Eiffel stands in the spotlight with fog rolling around him, exclaiming "Welcome, ladies &... well, just ladies! Welcome!! To the greatest show off Earth!!!!!" with a huge grin and a top hat while the others clap and woo. Holding on to his hat he starts saying "Please, give a round of applauses to my... attentive assistant." before taking it off his head, pointing with it at a very displeased Hilbert wearing a wig.
The interlude is Eiffel wearing his top hat and smiling, rotating rays around him, all looking like an old cartoon.
The second page starts with Eiffel holding dramatically a card, asking "iiiiiiiis THIS your card?" and then two panels of him looking straight ahead at an offscreen Hilbert, winking with a smile at first and then angrily, as Hilbert says "well, that's actually, uh, uuuuuuhhhh", finally saying "Amazing. It IS my card. How does he do it? Must be MAGIC" in the next panel as both of them pose with their arms up with different degrees of excitement. The last two panels are Minkowski watching the show with a pained expression, Hera's camera twisting to the side, and then them saying "That was... Good..." and "Inspiring." respectively. //End ID]
Hephaestus' First Talent Show, in which Eiffel bribed Hilbert to help him with his act with the (unfounded) promise that he wouldn't have to present anything himself
i never got around to inking and coloring this comic bc its... too much work and i dont have time w/ my studies... but believe me, its still dear to my heart 😔💞 (also inspired by my previous magician eiffel headcanon lmao)

DO YOU LISTEN TO WOLF 359? I CAN'T ARTICULATE IN WRITTEN FORMAT WHAT MY PHYSICAL REACTION TO THIS WAS EXCEPT THAT IT INVOLVED ARM FLAPPING AND HIGH PITCHED NOISES OF EXCITEMENT. You are perfect person.
Aaaaah I’m listening to it yes!! I haven’t gotten very far, I tend to go through podcasts very slowly and the next bit is a two-parter and I haven’t had time to commit to that, so I’m not super far along, but yes!!! I love Minkowsy and Hera and Hilbert! And I’m ambivalent about Doug but oh well, he has his excellent moments and his eh moments. but YES SPACE IS GREAT and I am so confused about what the hell is going on on this station, it’s so much fun. You are also perfect, aaah, I can’t believe how many fandoms we accidentally share??

Wolf 359 Theory:  [SPOILERS]
As of Wolf 359 episode 46, Boléro, I don’t think that Hilbert is dead.  I posted a brief mention of it and some people were interested in my thoughts… so here it goes.
It goes without saying that this is based purely on speculation and wishful thinking.  I’m also slightly paranoid that if there’s any bit of truth to my theory and the writers discover that I’ve caught on they’ll change things for fear of not looking too predictable.  So please keep in mind that this is a completely nonsensical post by some annoying fan who just discovered Wolf 359 and binged the entire series in a week.
I’ve also decided to keep this under a “read more” cut to spare anyone’s dashboards.  (Also please excuse any typos- I’m typing in a hurry and I have problems transposing words.)
To start things off, let’s take a quick examination of Dr. Alexander Hilbert. He’s a very interesting character (and feels complex when trying to nail his feelings in a scenario) but he’s actually got a pretty easy overall motivation: His research is above all else.  Anything he does is either directly or indirectly tied to his overall motivation of continuing to study the Decima virus for the benefits of mankind.  His actions are not based on some sort of moral scale (asking himself if this is the “good” thing to do) but rather based on a scale of how his actions will further his cause (will doing this help/harm his ability to work on the Decima Project).  This is important to remember.
For ease of reference, I’ll be including [episode numbers in brackets] to indicate where I’m pulling some of these facts from.  I won’t do this for every point but for some of them that might be less obvious/harder to remember in case you want to listen for yourself.
In-universe reasons why Hilbert might be alive:
We never saw a body.
If he did die via fiery explosion I don’t expect a body(/pieces) to be left.  We still don’t know, however, if somebody bothered to check the area of the detonation.  So we don’t know if there’s any signs of escape/refuge.
Hilbert’s dialogue up to the explosion was suspicious.
Why would Hilbert specifically tell Minkowski how long it would take him to get into the room?
He does this multiple times… which is convenient for letting your enemies know when to set a bomb timer (it’s also useful for ripping out the hearts of your fans T^T)
He already knew that the plan had started to unravel/go wrong, so wouldn’t he be suspicious talking to Minkowski if she isn’t answering him back?
The engineering section is weird.
Ah the advantages of an audio-only medium:  the audience isn’t too sure of how to picture the area.
What we do know is that Hilbert and Lovelace stockpiled napalm in the “secret room that nobody knows about” in the engineering section .
We ALSO know that the secret door to Hilbert’s brain-scan chair is located in the back corner of the engineering section behind gears and such [ep 11].
It’s established, however, that the area which begins to reach past Hera’s sense horizon does not begin at the secret door room, but rather a little before it [ep 38].  Which gives me the impression that the napalm was not stockpiled in the room with the chair… but in that area nearby.
The door to the brain-scanner sounded heavy [ep 44], it is possible for Hilbert to have taken refuge from an explosion there?  I’m honestly not sure.
Since Hera can’t sense exactly what’s going on in there, she could only confirm in Desperate Measures that Hilbert was “heading towards the engineering section”.  So we don’t know what he was doing once he got off the radar.
Hilbert has wanted Maxwell dead multiple times.
Hilbert knew that Maxwell could turn Hera against them, so he has expressed interest in killing her [ep 36], about how not killing her was a wasted opportunity [ep 38], and killing/incapacitating her [ep 44].
The cockroach metaphor:
(Courtesy of Lovelace:)  “You really are a cockroach- dirty, sick, and impossible to kill.  And, God help us, that might be what we need right now.”
Remember- he has survived at least one other Hephaestus mission and years of working with Cutter [minisode 7].
More meta (storytelling) reasons why Hilbert might be alive:
The brain-scan chair’s story thread is still open.
Instead of asking yourself what Hilbert chose to do with the chair, ask yourself this:  “Do you think we’ll be able to find out if he’s dead?”
If the Lovelace we knew is alive and Hilbert’s alive, that would mean that Minkowski would have to live with fact that Maxwell was the only one who died that day.
Minkowski really didn’t want to kill someone- can you imagine the kind of mental/emotional pain that would cause knowing that Maxwell was the only one murdered?
It would also put additional strain on Hilbert’s relationship with her (she DID kill Maxwell because of the shock of his supposed death)
good for the ever-swinging pendulum of the story
Eiffel’s comparison between Hilbert and his own bad life-decisions could be explored more.
Eiffel laments Hilbert’s death partially because he wanted to see Hilbert “turn towards the light”.  This is because Eiffel’s trying to use this as a measure to figure out if he can become a better person after all the terrible things he had done.
So, can you imagine… if Hilbert actually turns around and does something horrible?  It sets up a ton of potential for struggle and strain, as well as Eiffel being forced to deal with the fact that some people won’t change.
On the other hand, there’s also that gushy part of me that wants to see an 11th hour Hilbert appear out of nowhere and save Minkowsi’s/Eiffel’s/Hera’s(/Lovelace’s?) asses because GDI he needs them to stay alive.  For science.
Would we ever find out why there’s bad blood between Hilbert and Kepler if Hilbert’s dead?
Unless Kepler reveals this or it’s the focus of a minisode I don’t think so.
Hilbert’s knowledge of the SI-5 and having worked once with Kepler are unexplored
Why was Cutter so interested in Hilbert’s Decima research [minisode 7] yet it was okay for the Decima Project to be retired [ep 33]?
Were they using Hilbert for something else?  Was this something he knew about?  He seemed to know a little bit about radiology… were they really just using him to dabble with aliens?
Given Hilbert’s reaction to Wolf 359′s change from red to blue, I’m going to guess that Hilbert wasn’t lying about not knowing about this weird alien stuff.
Which furthers the question- why was it okay for Kepler to terminate the Decima Project?
Speculative “reasons” why Hilbert might be alive:
Minkowski makes it a special point that they need Hilbert (to usurp Kepler) [ep 38].
This was right after Hilbert was thinking about the chair.
Hilbert didn’t really end up doing much to further the plan in Desperate Times and Desperate Measures (other than being the presence who died)… but what if this is foreshadowing further?
“Can I help you, Commander?” “Listen. [beat] I know your suggestions haven’t exactly… gone over well, but, I don’t want you to- [beat] Whatever we do, we’re going to need you, doctor. I want you to know that.” “I know that.”
He knows- and interestingly enough he’s showing a small trace of comradery.
I don’t think he’s completely consistent with this but he is under no obligation to call her “Commander” anymore.  Hm.
There is no character who has so far exhibited the ability to research/handle the Decima virus other than Hilbert.
Doug’s cough has been causally showing up again, so if he’s supposed to stay alive much longer he’s going to need a doctor.
Also, the Decima has reached a new stage [ep 33] so for all we know Doug is in for some rough bouts.
Hilbert is hellbent on staying alive because he believes that he’s the only one who can continue the work and that “If only the work can continue without me.  Then that will have to suffice.” [ep 38]
Suffice… as in it (the chair) will have to do as a last resort.  As in it’s not nearly as good as surviving as finishing it himself (insert speech from… ep 25 I think about Hilbert playing his hand through to the end).
Hilbert may have turned to the SI-5 team.
In episode 38 Lovelace says that she thinks Hilbert would switch sides if Command would take him back.
Hilbert responds “no”… but he wasn’t saying no to the idea of switching sides.  He was saying no and continues to justify that Command is done with him.  He never denied that he’d switch sides.
This would make Jacobi’s involvement with the explosion more suspicious since he could be covering for Hilbert.
Stabby the space roomba.
Okay but can you imagine.
That’s all the time I have for now!  Let me know what you think.  I love Hilbert and am really hoping he’s still around, even if he’s going to bring more suffering ^^;  There’s always that corner of my mind that- like Eiffel- imagines some sort of internal conflict inside Hilbert.  Ha.

From phase space to multivector matrix models. (arXiv:1501.03644v2 [hep-th] UPDATED)
Combining elements of twistor-space, phase space and Clifford algebras, we propose a framework for the construction and quantization of certain (algebraic) multivector varieties, i.e. geometries which enlarge the Minkowsi space-time with multivector directions and satisfy algebraic quadric constraints. The coordinates are constructed from second order polynomials in phase space transforming as (anti-symmetric) Lorentz tensors. The multivectors play a double role, as covariant objects in $D=2,3,4 \texttt{ Mod } 8$ space-time dimensions and as mechanical observables of a non-relativistic system in $2^{[D/2]-1}$ euclidean dimensions. The latter attribute permits a dual interpretation of concepts of non-relativistic (quantum/statistical) mechanics as applying to space-time geometry. Introducing the Groenewold-Moyal $\ast$-product and Wigner distributions in phase space induce Lorentz covariant non-commutativity and it provides the spectra of geometrical observables. Using the Gibbs/Shannon entropy formula for a constant probability distribution in a finite sector of the phase space produces an entropy proportional to the area of a $S^2$($S^1$)-sphere immersed in $3+1$ $(2+1)$ dimensions. In higher dimensions the correspondent spheres can be embedded only in the multivector extension. We also construct matrix models in zero dimensions from which the respective multivector geometries appear as solution. As for phenomenological implications, we observe that the quantum uncertainty of positions yields an effective acceleration of signals at short scales and a modified "pixel-like" notion of an event.
