i actually have different ones in different contexts!! rn im on a strawberry ice cream w chocolate syrup kick; i ALWAYS have strawb stocked in the freezer. it was my childhood fave too <3 so that’s my like basically daily dessert akdjskjd

but when im at home my dad and i go hard for black raspberry chocolate chunk!! and when i go out for ice cream ill get something w chunks of dough in it. so either like Quadruple Chocolate Extreme Fudge Brownie Bites Deluxe or whatever the ice cream place wants to call it bc its always insane. or like, cookie dough or (at a very specific place in my hometown) mint oreo.

Todd. - Todd likes simple flavors that only have one taste and that he can guarantee will taste the same from store to store. He likes strawberry.

Charlie. - He's such a snob for ice cream and he refuses to get anything normal. He likes some "rare" flavor like watermelon chocolate chip. Little does he know it's just gross.

for the unpopular opinions i know this isn’t a fandom ask but mint chocolate chip ice cream and pistachio ice cream are the worst flavors of ice cream

one time a few months ago our distributors were on strike, which meant we were out of a lot of things, which included but was not limited to:

- cheesecake

- brownie pieces

- normal brownies

- whipped cream

- gummy worms and crunch base for Oreo dirt pie

- cherry

- thin mints

so basically all the most popular items... this led to some interesting exchanges...

every time someone ordered a royal new york, we'd say "sorry, we're out of cheesecake!" AND THEN THEY'D ASK IF THEY CAN GET A CARAMEL FUDGE CHEESECAKE LIKE??? IT'S THE SAME CHEESECAKE

I also frequently predicted what they would get, it always ended up being something we were out of.

someone ordered a banana split with extra whipped cream and I had to tell them we actually had *no* whipped cream... I guess that was a deal breaker because she left after that.

Today was for sure a day! But it won't hinder me from writing to you ✨

Do you have an advent calendar this year? I got one with different nougats in it and the 2nd of December is of the “Nut” variety - my favorite.

To be honest, my absolute favorite holiday sweets are marzipan and nougat (even over chocolate-coated gingerbread)....my weakness is nougat-filled marzipan and don't give me marzipan potatoes for they will be guarded and devoured with a passion. Do you have a preference in those kinds of things?

I have already sent two Christmas parcels now and one of them will travel all the way to the USA for the next 14-20 days (well, now it's more or less 12.5-18.5 days but hey). The other one was supposed to be an advent calendar but I only remembered that Wednesday evening as I had wrapped it and put it on my desk weeks earlier and just needed a suitable box to post it in....typical chaotic behavior by yours truly 😅✌️ it will arrive soon and I imagine it will give joy even if it's slightly delayed.

As you can see, I enjoy giving gifts very much! What do you make of it - is it too much guesswork or does it just not as much fun as making experiences with each other or a secret third thing?

Dear Holiday Pal,

I adore the eloquence and joy in which you craft these messages. I feel like I’m receiving a handwritten letter instead of a tumblr ask. I hope your day tomorrow is a little brighter!

I do have an advent calendar! Just a regular chocolate one, as well as one my mother always makes for me and my siblings, even though two of us are adults now. She hangs little gold bags on a branch on the wall, and each satchel has little gifts inside.

I’m not the biggest fan of marzipan myself… I prefer candied almonds and homemade fudge. Marzipan potatoes?? I’ve never heard of such a thing but after a quick google I’m going to assume you’re german?

I haven’t gotten any gifts or cards yet… I planned on doing everything early and now it’s December and I haven’t even started, I’d better get on it now. I myself am in the US! And it is unfortunately quite complicated and expensive to send gifts to my european friends. I try to at least send cards, but it’s always such a shame when I see things I know my friends would love, but it costs triple the price of the gift just to ship it. I do enjoy giving gifts though, especially ones I’ve made. I prefer experiences, as do my family, but there’s also something about finding the perfect thing you know the other person will love. My brother is extremely difficult to buy for but my sister is extremely easy since we like almost all the same things. So it’s fun and can be stressful at the same time sometimes.

I just had cookie dough ice cream! From a shop in a cone, though I do love ben&jerry’s. hmmm my favourite ice creams… that’s difficult as ice cream is one of my favourite things lol. I like lots of flavours depending on my mood. Cherry garcia, any kind of cookie dough, matcha, pistachio, anything with brownie or real fruit. I’m a big big fan of real vanilla bean. One of my favourites I’ve had has been a green tea and cherry blossom ice cream with sweet cream and ube sauce. I also am biased to a combo I can only get in my hometown — a scoop of coffee oreo caramel and a scoop of coconut crunch. Grape nut ice cream is also to die for but I’ve only ever found it in jamaica. As for my least favourite, i am NOT a fan of mint choco lol.

Since our boy likes sweet things, I totally can see Chifuyu ordering something along the lines of the Royal New York Cheesecake Blizzard. However, I don’t see him finishing it. Instead, he’d likely shove it in the freezer and eat it later.

Mitsuya

Mitsuya seems like the type not to have a huge sweet tooth. Therefore, Mocha Moolate.

Hakkai

HAKKAI THOUGH. He really seems like he’d be enamored with ice cream to the point where he’d be unable to choose. Mitsuya is usually the one to tell him to order a Blizzard. It doesn’t matter which one because he ends up loving it.

Pah

I can see Pah really digging peanut butter for some reason, so a Peanut Butter shake seems like a good pick for him.

I don’t think Peh likes sweet things too much, but I do think he likes sour things. Lemonade Twisty Misty Slushie for Peh.

Thinks Mucho’s choice in Blizzards is awful but doesn’t say anything in fear that he will hear a 30-minute rant on why Heath Bars are the shit. Instead, he quietly eats his Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard in peace.

Hanma

Now, we would think Hanma Shuji would have an atrocious taste in ice cream. And you know, thank god it’s not. He orders the Brownie Batter Blizzard, but not before joking about ordering the Cotton Candy one.

Kisaki

Caramel Moolate, with extra caramel. He likes caramel a lot, and Hanma teases him about it until trying it and then realizes that maybe extra caramel isn’t the worst idea.

Inui

Goes back and forth between ordering a Vanilla Moolate and an Oreo Cookie Blizzard. He sometimes can’t choose, though, and holds up the line.

Koko

After scraping together enough money, making sure it fits his budget for the month… Koko tends to just get a vanilla cone. After all, it’s the cheapest thing on the menu. Though, if someone else is buying, he’ll get the Royal New York Cheesecake Blizzard. He really likes strawberries.

Shinichiro

He just gets a coke and watches the show, much to the confusion of the staff.

Izana

He orders a Strawberry shake but also is a fan of the chocolate-dipped cones.

Kakucho

Would typically order a Vanilla shake, though sometimes ventures out and orders a Raspberry Chip one. Izana always asks if he can try the raspberry one, to which he always ends up hating. Kakucho doesn’t know why he tries.

Shion

Always orders a Snickers Blizzard and tends to intimidate the staff on accident.

Ran

Usually orders a Caramel shake, though also is a big fan of the Caramel Moolate as well. He always has them put extra whipped cream on both, though.

Rindou

Used to order the Raspberry Chip shake but then discovered the wonders of the Raspberry Fudge Bliss Blizzard and hasn’t returned since.

Mochi

Orders the Reece’s Extreme Blizzard, this man likes peanut butter and chocolate more than he likes...well, a lot of things.

South

South is surprisingly simple when it comes to ice cream. He orders only a large chocolate-dipped cone and goes on his merry way, even if that means sometimes slamming his head on the top of the door frame when exiting. The staff may or may not be counting.

Takeomi

Takeomi likes to smoke, and you know what’s good when you smoke? Coffee. Therefore, Mocha Moolate makes his day just a little bit better.

Senju

Senju loves ice cream. Mint Chip Shakes shape her being.

Wakasa

Oh, Waka...because you maybe love candy, this is gonna sound slanderous but… Cotton Candy Blizzard. The entirety of Brahman judges you, Waka.

Benkei

Benkei likely would eat anything on the DQ menu, save for the Cotton Candy Blizzard. Though, I think his favorite would have to be the Butterfinger Blizzard.

Naoto

Did you see how many energy drinks this man consumed? Mocha Moolate. A large. At least 3. He would get brain freeze at least 10 times. Did he even enjoy this experience?

Hina

She really likes the strawberry-dipped cones, but also loves sharing the banana splits with Takemichi.

Emma

Tried to be cute like Hina and Takemichi with Draken, ended up eating an entire banana split to herself one day until Mikey(Read: Hina and Takemichi) talked some sense into Draken. It ended up being a day where all of them went and ate ice cream together but Emma was able to share a banana split with Draken. By herself, she really likes Strawberry shakes...hm, I wonder who she takes after… :3c

Taiju

This man is chaotic, like half the time the staff won’t even take his order because he keeps adding on things and taking things away all while saying weird hymns from church. At one point someone even told him he needs the lord himself. They just gave him a consolation Vanilla cone so he would leave. amen.
