This character is one of the few good memories of Ana's old life and one of the only people in the world she'd risk everything for. They met when they were just kids, growing up in the same small mining town in the 1870s and remained close until their teenage years.

After Ana killed her stepfather and was forced to run, she did not see as much of her old friend but would, on occasion, sneak back into town under various disguises so the two could talk.

They always had a will-they-won't-they sort of relationship, flirting and toeing the line between friends and more. The one night that they finally kissed, they were caught. Someone recognized Ana from her wanted poster and called the sheriff.

In the resulting chaos, it was her friend that was shot and killed, not her. She tried to help them, but when she realized they were already dead, she made a run for it, leaving their body behind.

This is one of Ana's biggest regrets and deepest shames, and she still wonders to this day if she could have saved her friend if she'd stuck around longer to help. She also blames herself for leading them into the crossfire in the first place.

What she doesn't know is that this character did, in fact, live. How this happened is up to you! It could be that they were fae and regenerated. They could have been a vampire, maybe recently turned, etc. But they and Ana haven't seen each other in over a hundred years.

i will be real with you, i do find it weird that all asks clangen mods post are the positive 'omg i just found your game and i love it, i already have 100 cats' praise variants, like. i remember i asked them about a patrol a while back, and why it was a negative outcome. nothing passive aggressive, just a simple question why that patrol made relations with other clan drop. no response. all while they kept chugging out 50 praise filled asks. i doubt its all they got in the inbox, and i get not answering hate or baits, but like.. normal damn questions about patrols? im not joining your poorly moderated 100000 people server to get my answer.

like if you dont fucking care about anything else but getting your ass kissed then just say so.

Connection: The Owner of the Slumber Motel

Connection Description:

Your character owns and manages the Slumber Motel. It's up to you whether they inherited the location from an in-law or from some shadier means, but the Slumber Motel is a place in town where characters can take care of their seedy dealings or secret affairs. The establishment is cash only and pay is by the hour.

It is up to you whether your character is involved in crime themselves or just protects those who are up to no good, but if they are involved in crime, they could: deal in embezzlement, fraud, money laundering, or drugs to name a few (please only pick one and please be mindful to avoid any harmful stereotypes depending on what FC you choose).

Your character currently resides at the motel and it's up to you what brought them to town/how long they've lived there, but they would have been in town for a couple of years before the Slumber Motel was labeled a crime scene in regard to the missing persons case of October 2024.

At the start of the year, a string of mysterious disappearances began to plague the Cove. Residents had been vanishing, only to return to town 48 hours later without any recollection as to what happened to them. 

But, then the Mayor and Clan Leader, Meena Raja, and a self-turned werewolf, Dhruv Mehta, went missing for the entire month of October. Several search parties were sent out, but no one could find them until screams started to be heard from underneath the Slumber Motel. As far as your character and the blueprints they had on hand were concerned, there had never been a basement to the Slumber Motel. But, upon further investigating, it was discovered that the blueprints had been doctored and the stairwell that had been originally built with the motel to lead to the basement had been bricked off and sealed away - see plot drop here.

Why did the previous owner give you falsified blueprints and if they weren't the ones who altered them, then who did? Now, your character has the town's Sheriff department snooping around and who knows who else might have stayed under your very own roof...

Hello friends I made a new Clangen clan bc the last one was overwhelming me lol. This is CryptClan! From left to right we have Locuststar (leader), Tallmark (deputy), Dogrise (healer), Currenttail (warrior), Midnightpaw (Tallmark’s apprentice), Gingerpaw (Locuststar’s apprentice), and Tawnykit (Currenttail’s adoptive daughter). More info about each of them below:

Locuststar (she/her) is grumpy, a renowned hunter, is 55 moons old, and has the experience level of "prepared". Her warrior name was Locustfur. I've only played one moon so far and she somehow already got caught by humans + collared. Hashtag girlboss moment I guess.

Tallmark (he/him) is cold, an unusually strong fighter, is 58 moons old and is "competent". Most of these designs are exaggerated, but he has the same fabulous mustache in game too:

Dogrise (they/he) is charismatic, a great teacher and a good speaker, is 72 moons old, and is "proficient". They're just an ouppy what can I say. They're also the first cat I've ever gotten in clangen with heterochromia! Pretty swag :>

Currenttail (he/him) is troublesome, a renowned hunter and a great mediator, is 84 moons old, and is also "proficient". Yes he's the oldest one here yes I made him the smallest. What of it. He's also Tawnykit's adoptive father bc I said so. Also his first patrol was by himself and he decided he had a vision from Starclan. Fun!

Midnightpaw (she/her) is loving, interested in clan history, is 10 moons old, and is a trainee. All of her thoughts have been about being angsty so far <3

Gingerpaw (she/her) is cunning, has an active imagination, is 6 moons old, and is also a trainee. She started the game as a kit (being charming rather than cunning) but I played one moon and she grew up :,)

Tawnykit (she/her) is a know-it-all, constantly climbing, is 2 moons old, and is untrained. I have assigned her as Bearer of The Curse bc she started the game as 1 moon old and already her first thought was how she knew 20 different birds. Little chosen one I see

I'm also playing this one on the "Wasteland" area theme thing, so these guys are technically living in an apocolypse. Even more fun!! Hehe yeah thanks for reading.

deviantArt have some unique form of brainrot, because i was dead serious told that 'warrior cats caters to young audience who might not want to read violent scenes' and 'if you cant handle people not wanting to see violence in warrior cats works, you should stay off fandom spaces' like. what. how does any of that work. why would you go onto murder convention, knowing there will be murder, and go 'um i dont want to see murder. but im not going to leave, the organizators instead should change it into nice fluffy convention for me.'

i swear Erins not killing cats more often and more violently on-screen just destroys everyone's perception of what warrior cats is about. and it translates into them going onto other people's work that showcases the warrior cats doing warrior cats thing and go 'um murder is bad actually, this upsets me, stop drawing fluffy cats kill each other :((('.
