Advocating
Families with missing persons often face mental dilemmas. They don’t know whether to come up with the problem for the other person. In that case, they go to the advocates for a way out. And missing person lawyers do handle it delicately. They work with complete compassion and try their best to win the case. Now such a friendly gesture automatically relieves the near ones and family.

Detailed Investigation
Once you call up the missing person investigators, they conduct a detailed investigation. But before plunging into the case, they try to find the root cause at length. When a person disappears or gets missing, is it by self-choice, or something wrong happened to the person? They start to garner all sorts of manifestations that support the case. Also, they work hand in hand with the experts, like other investigators and lawyers, to reveal the truth.

Assistance
When someone all of a sudden gets missing automatically, that is the case when you start to think about what happened. And honestly, you don’t get the answer so quickly like an investigator company. But yes, it’s the most challenging time when you feel like getting some support. Well, of course, the investigators do help you overcome that. They allow you to cope with the anxiety that you face during such excruciating moments.
Final Say
So you can call any Missing Persons Investigation experts and ensure that you get complete guidance in any case when a near one gets missing.

I was in Gold Coast, Australia and my mum and I were being driven around by a man who had been missing for 78 years. At the end of the journey, he said to me, “Goodbye. I will never forget you.”

The Disappearance of Yvonne Kaye Waters & Raelene May Eaton
Tumblr media
On an autumn day in 1974, the quiet life of two Perth families changed irrevocably. Yvonne Kaye Waters and Raelene May Eaton, cousins not just by blood but by the deep friendship they shared, set out to enjoy a Sunday together. Little did anyone know, it would be the last day they were seen.
Yvonne, a 17-year-old working at a concrete moulding business, lived with her parents in Maylands. Her cousin Raelene, also 17, was balancing a job at a plumbing business with night school studies in dressmaking and shorthand typing. She lived with her parents in Bayswater. On the 7th of April, their plan was simple and carefree: join a friend at the Oxford Hotel in Leederville to enjoy a live band.
The day began with Raelene’s father driving her to Yvonne’s place. From there, the girls caught a train to Perth and then a bus to Leederville. Their time at the Oxford Hotel was brief; soon, the vibrant energy of another location, the White Sands Tavern in Scarborough, beckoned.
Arriving around 4:30 PM, Yvonne and Raelene found themselves at a table with five men, described as older and scruffier than themselves. As the venue buzzed around them and the band Fatty Lumpkin played, the atmosphere of the tavern was electric. Two men eventually left, leaving the cousins in the company of three.
The evening edged towards its close, and at around 6:45 PM, the tavern emptied. Outside, the cousins were seen chatting amiably with the three men. A witness's last glance captured them outside the tavern—after that, the group vanished into the night.
The immediate aftermath of their disappearance saw little urgency in the search efforts; the initial belief was that Yvonne and Raelene might have simply run off. But days turned into weeks with no word from either girl. Their families began to fear the worst, grappling with the stark, unsettling silence that followed.
Tragedy struck again a week later. A car accident involving Yvonne’s boyfriend and Raelene’s brother added a bitter layer to the unfolding drama—Raelene's brother succumbed to his injuries two weeks later.
Years rolled on with detectives chasing shadows. Leads and theories emerged and faded with the same rapidity, including a mysterious white panel van thought to be linked to their last known location. Yet, every effort to unearth the truth behind Yvonne and Raelene’s disappearance seemed to dissolve into the vast Australian landscape.
Decades have passed, and the mystery of what happened to the "Gone Girls" of Perth persists, etched into the community's memory and the hearts of their families. The pages of newspapers yellowed with age, and online forums speculate endlessly, but the poignant echo of their absence remains. In Perth and beyond, the story of Yvonne and Raelene is recounted with a mixture of sadness and disbelief—a haunting reminder of a joyful Sunday that ended in an enduring mystery.

Am I crazy for being homesick for the spiders in Australia? Like I actually miss them so much. You'd just wake up one day and have a little shower buddy and after a while he'd spook ya in the weirdest place and you'd just be like alright mate get in the Tupperware and put them back outside. Like they were mad respectful, they'd just be chilling with you in the corner of the roof, taking care of a couple of flies. Fuck man I miss my 8 legged squatters 🥺

One of the most personal, saddest things about living in America is the summertime.
There is 0 reason for American adults not to have a summer break. I can only say this with a full throat so loud, but other countries have policies and laws that give adults summertime.
It is not a joke to say France is kind of shutdown for August. There are over a dozen countries that have enough mandatory, legally required leave available to take an entire month off, or more. PLUS mandatory PAID holidays.
It's Brazil and Russia (ooh scary BRIC countries outgrowing the US and coming for us). India AND China give up to 2 weeks mandatory vacation leave, plus sick leave on top.
It's Afghanistan (20 days). It's Angola (22). It's Argentina(25) and Armenia (25) and Australia (20). It's Cambodia (technically unlimited; you can eventually get 15 or 17 days per month vacation).
That us on top of mandatory PAID public holidays. Cambodia can somehow manage 27 mandatory paid holidays plus upwards of 18 vacation days per year and going up from there, and we in the US can't even manage mandatory paid holidays.
We don't even get paid on Christmas and Memorial Day. And even trying to convince some people, let alone politicians, that everyone should get paid on Christmas is unfair to compare to pulling teeth.
Please. Please. I want to have a better life. I want you to have a better life.
I want you to not miss Summer Break. Because France and Cambodia don't.

Tom and Eileen Lonergan, a couple who were lost at sea when their tour group left them behind while scuba diving near the Great Barrier Reef in Australia in 1998. When the diving company realized the mistake two days later, they organized a search party, but the Lonergans were never found.
The only thing that was found was a diver's slate (an underwater communication device) with a S.O.S. message on it that read, "[Mo]nday Jan 26; 1998 08am. To anyone [who] can help us: We have been abandoned on A[gin]court Reef by MV Outer Edge 25 Jan 98 3pm. Please help us [come] to rescue us before we die. Help!!!"
