cannot express how much I love an unkillable guy. not in a cool way, but in a cockroach way, like by all rights we have physically seen him die onscreen multiple times but against everyone's wishes he just keeps coming back. the first time he comes back it's a plot twist. the second time he dies you start to see where it's going. it only gets exponentially funnier after that

(one of) the great thing(s) about C-53 is that any robot you see could be C-53. his cube could be in there.

in Mission to Zyxx, C-53 has to learn how to relax and have a little humility, but that does NOT mean he has to literally be a human. He stays a robot and he likes it.

Pleck has to get a clue and mature, but that does NOT mean he has to have sex or be in a relationship. He's single and celibate and he likes it.

Dar has to learn responsibility and how to actually care about people, but that does NOT mean they have to be in an exclusive relationship. They love Nermut and keep having casual sex with whoever they want and they like it.

And I just think that's neat. We've seen stories where all three of those narratives end up the other way as the "lesson." But you can learn those lessons without changing yourself in those ways because those things aren't necessarily tied to each other, and it's really really nice to see that depicted.
