ahead of tonight's mitb confrontations on smackdown, i just wanna say probably nothing will ever top 2016 and how chaotic and straight up funny it was to have six grown ass men have a debate while sitting on top of six different ladders

the match was pretty good though, even with all the unnecessary pauses in action and dramatic close-ups. i liked the wm31 callback into the mitb 2016 callback and then (almost) into the battleground 2016 callback. i think the finish was waaay too drawn-out. when heyman picked up the chair, i knew it was going to seth. they didn't need to have two separate betrayals before the big reveal. that was just silly. just have heyman tease giving it to punk, tease giving it to roman and then slide it to seth.

I honestly think that this past Money In The Bank ladder match was my first one. It's crazy, really, since I've been with WWE for a while now. I've had ladder matches in the past (shoutout to Kevin Steen!) but MITB is just so much different. Doing things for the first time can be scary, I remember I was nervous to enter my first New Era Competition (Survivor 2021) but everything went pretty well!

I wish that more of UnityVerse could try and rebel against the McMahons, especially between 2014-2016, myself included. If all of us had come together and realized the way they were leading us was completely wrong (instead of noticing a few years later), UnityVerse would've been much better off. Either way, I'm glad changes were made and that they're in jail for life now, because that is truly what they deserve.
