Honestly, this man loves making out with you. It tells him that you don’t care about his burns and he feels more confident and at ease with you.

He LOVES your style. He will admire you from afar. He especially loves your black lipstick 😏

Which is why Kabal dragged you to y’alls favorite place to make out; a dark alleyway.

Kabal loves the feeling of your lips on his and the feeling of your black lipstick smudging onto the corners of his mouth.

He would put his hand on the back of your head, wanting more. He is obsessed with your kisses. (he may even be a bit submissive for you..~)

During the light makeouts, you would pepper his face and neck with kisses, which would leave the imprints of the black lipstick on it.

Kabal wouldn’t wipe his face nor neck. He would leave it there. He doesn’t care if someone mentions it, it’s staying on. (Until you wipe it off and he begs you to kiss him again)

Johnny would always playfully tease you by calling you these nicknames.

When making out with him, he loves holding you waist and pulling you close with your arms wrapped around his neck.

With your husband's victory, you were both granted a life of luxury and an entire island. Anything you could possibly ever desire, Shang Tsung would have delivered to you on a jewel-encrusted silver platter. You are adorned with the finest and most lavish outfits, jewelry, and accessories befitting an Empress. You're given dozens of servants to wait on you hand and foot, so you never have to lift a finger if you so desire. Shang Tsung would definitely have a throne made for you right by him, befitting of his sweet soul, his Queen, and his Empress.

He's also fitted his palace with many mirrors, which most would mistake for him being extremely vain. While not exactly wrong, the main reason really is so he could safely make eye contact with you without turning into stone and needing to be un-petrified every time. Something that happened once when you both turned a corner and you weren't wearing your mask or veil, much to his chagrin and your amusement. The memory of Shang's surprised expression suddenly frozen in stone is one you'll always carry with you.

"I love how my eyes can still petrify you after all this time, darling."

"Hilarious as always, my sweet."

He quickly forgives you when you give him a sweet kiss on the mouth, followed by a barrage of your snakes following suit, which causes him to chuckle in delight. Who can still be mad for too long when one is tickled by dozens of tiny forked tongues?

You would mostly be able to maintain heavy eye contact with Shang Tsung during meals when you're sitting side by side in front of a mirror. Other times, it's when he's helping oil your writhing snakes to keep their scales healthy and gleaming, all while sensually massaging your living locks as you continue to watch with a blissed-out expression. In fact, one of your favorite activities to do together is to help take care of the other's hair, which includes you massaging Shang Tsung's scalp while washing his long locks and putting little braids in. It delights something deep within your soul to know that your husband is absolutely unbothered by what has become a part of you for centuries.

Almost like meeting an unspoken challenge, you'd take the time to make your husband tea or food to snack on during work, leave him a fresh set of robes when knowing he'll be spending a day in the Flesh Pits; sometimes, you'd make medicine for Shang Tsung, whether it's to help him sleep, keep him awake and focused, or something to slip to a target; even help work out the tight knots in his shoulders and back, as he would with your coils. You bet that Shang is melting under your touch all the while. 😏

While you still tease Shang Tsung with how easy it would be to kill him whenever you show care or pamper, your husband knows your words are nothing but empty threats. After all, you still haven't done it after hundreds of years, not after you first slept together nor when he lost a Tournament to the Great Kung Lao.

"You know how easy it would be for me to slice open you neck and watch your blood delicately trickle out?"

"I'm quite aware, dear. But, if it's so easy, then why not do it now while my back is to you?"

"*sultry chuckle* Because, darling, there's no other like you."

Sometimes when you two aren't too busy, you take long walks through his island just to talk and enjoy one another's company like you did so many eons ago. Sometimes, when you both just want to sit outside and enjoy the weather, you'd lounge around in your garden to catch up. A garden full of exotic flora you personally care for and decorated with would-be thieves turned into stone, frozen in terror at your visage. It also helps your statues aren't just decoration but still living vessels containing souls. There isn't a shortage of those that would try to steal from your husband, so you never really run out of varieties of decorations for your garden. Shang Tsung will often take the time to admire your handy work and how you captured their horror and fear in those moments.

We love ourselves as a working couple that supports one another, don't we? 😊 While Shang Tsung may spend plenty of time away from home to complete whatever work Shao Khan demands, you're often in your workshop coming up with all sorts of deadly concoctions or potent medicine (and yes, your snake coils do help with a lot) also often orders of the Khan. A man both you and your husband despise and will often talk shit about within the comforts of home. It helps take a bit of the edge off to praise one another for each other's work and qualities under the Khan's grueling demands.

While Shang Tsung does love to show you off to others, draped in fine silk and standing by his throne during the Tournaments he hosts, you are, in fact, not a trophy wife. However, to outsiders, that's exactly what they see, which you and Shang purposely led them to believe. For them to see a quiet, obedient, almost meek trophy wife who never shows her face, always hiding it one way or another. A mask that works well for you to act as another pair of eyes for Shang Tsung, able to move among the crowds, almost invisible as you go about your usual business since the second Tournament you attended.A ruse that has worked so well in the past that a younger Princess Kitana pitied you for, what she assumed, to be a marriage The Sorcerer practically forced you into, much to your eternal humor for the then-naive princess.

"I mean no offense, but is Shang Tsung the reason why you wear that mask, Madam? It's alright to tell me."

"Oh no, no, no! You have it all wrong, your highness. I assure you, my husband treats me quite well. He told me that my mask is more for everyone's safety than anything. Teehee"

"Why does that do nothing to assure me?"

MK 11 Kitana: "To think, I once felt sorry that you married that Snake."

"I told you the truth when I said my Shang treats me well. It's not my fault you didn't believe me."

"MK 11 Kitana: "Yet, my eyes are more open to the truth than ever."

When Shang Tsung originally died, you felt an odd sense of emptiness inside, one you never quite felt before, even with your father's passing. That emptiness was then replaced by a heavy weight that no worldly pleasure or potion could ever permanently rid you of. Soon replaced by indescribable fire once you learn the circumstances around Shang Tsung's death, such as how Shao Khan ripped out his soul to power Sindel.

From there, after renouncing your loyalty to all of Outworld, you did assist anyone you can for a high price. Did they desire a poison that would cause their enemies to be paralyzed while absolute agony? It'll cost but an eye. Have greater power to your abilities? Just a few years of your life will do. A voice, a heart, your soul, nothing was off limits. Either pay up or become part of your cave's garden or stone slave; nevertheless, your main objective was to bring Outworld to its ruin, watching it crumble to bareness and bleakness.

You've mostly done business with Mileena (who you have a small fondness for due to her being one of Shang Tsung's creations) and her Insurrection, giving them either needed toxins or remedies, given Mileena's continuous usage of Shinnok's amulet. However, that doesn't mean you didn't do business with the Special forces now and again, with you being their dirty little secret.

Granted, you had to work from the fringes of the Empire, due to how you were technically wanted by Kotal Khan for being Shang Tsung's accomplice. You've done this song and dance before, only this time, you vowed to never bow to another Khan. Especially one so foolish as to trust a Kytinn.

However, the person that earned your vengeful gaze would have to go to Quan Chi, since you couldn't get to Shao Khan in time. Plus, his plan to resurrect Sindel led to your beloved's death.

For that reason, you briefly made an uneasy alliance with Scorpion to invade the Special Forces Camp to finally Kill to Necromancer, the only payment needed being Quan Chi's spilled blood.

Regressor mk1 trio headcanons, featuring Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Raiden!

i know you didnt mention liu kang and as much as i love kung lao, i cant seperate these guys theyre best friends.

raiden would absolutely be a cg for regressors liu kang and kung lao though he would be a bit of a strict and stern cg he would be very caring and keep them out of touble but when he says no, theres no changing his mind.

liu kang or kung lao could easily be a baby sitter for one another but with raiden as cg theyre best buds or even sibs on a playdate

this does include playfights

kitana is either a standin cg or babysitter at least for liu kang, maye not as much for kung lao but will look after them together if need be

raiden's the best at giving sublte and vague excuses for the three of them to leave when needed no one questions him but the other too often suck at it and stumble over or generally mess up the excuse

not very independant regressors, they normally wont even regress unless prompted somehow

raiden picks up on everything knows the moment they feel little and need something hes very attuned to them and can read them easily

angy liu kang has set things on fire didnt always mean to does apologize after time out

liu kang would be maybe 4-5 kung lao might be soemthere between 4-10 depending on the day

kung lao needs some sort of safety precaution on his hat he's allowed to have it, they tried telling him he cant and that was a mistake but when he's little they put something on the bladded rim and he'll sit and pout about it for a bit

regressor Scorpion(Hanzo) and cg sub-zero(Kuai Liang)!

hanzo regresses around age 6 he's a very curious kid but hes also very stubborn and grumpy

hanzo wont often ask for help kuai liang will notice when he needs help and will usually ask first but knows hanzo wont admit to it and will find ways to help him out without causing a fuss

gumpy kiddo will sit next to him and pout until the other takes the hint and gives him a hug doesnt really like cuddles but is okay with hugs or being held for a short time

"hanzo dont do it...noo..." something proceeds to light on fire and be put out with cold "thats it, time out, little one" "no!"

its a fight to get him to settle down he's easier to handle and tuck in for a nap or sleep after he's tired himself out kuai liang will find things to direct his energy towards to keep him busy until he tires or gets burnt out so he can cool down with a nap (pun intended)

its hard to find little gear he wont burn when he gets upset a make shift bottle or sippy cup is just a metal waterbottle. plastic will melt and wood will char, so metal things are about the only material that can withstand his outbursts.

after being grumpy and angry, hes really sweet and helpful at the end of the day hanzo wants to help kuai liang as a thank you for helpng him too he feels bad after he gets upset, so he wants to be helpful and do something nice and be a good kiddo to make up for it.

On another note, since you asked for general headcanons, I went for what I believe would be like to date Kitana. I chose Kitana from mk11 cuz I wanted to play with the idea of being with the Kahn of Outworld.

Being the Kahn of Outworld means lots of work aka Kitana is always really busy.

Being the partner of the Kahn of Outworld means looking out for her and making sure she doesn't neglect herself.

Also you get to be her advisor.

Although you're an earthrealmer, Kitana would be delighted to teach you about the history of Outworld and most importantly Edenia.

Prepare yourself for long walks around the city as Kitana enjoys it.

Also Tea

If you don't like tea, Kitana would respect your preference, offering you something else to drink whenever it was tea time.

But if you do love tea, you two would have a hard time deciding which new tea you should try this time around.

She'd make tea from Outworld and, if you ever visit Earthrealm, you'd bring back some from there to show it to her.

As I said before, Kitana would be busy being Kahn but when she did have free time you'd find her reading somewhere or training.

Training will involve flirting and silly banter.

Do expect the visit of Kotal and Jade.

It was an uneventful day in Outworld. Most of the tasks were done and problems were taken care of. Which could only mean one time. Free time.

Sitting on a comfy chair located on one of the many balconies, arms leaning against a table, (y/n) propped their chin in the palm of their left hand. Their eyes were lovingly staring at the woman reading before them. Lost in their own thoughts, (y/n) failed to notice the brown eyes looking up at them.

Wind brushed through Kitana's hair, making her look ethereal as the sun cast its soft yellow glow on her.

"Just admiring your beauty, love."

Rolling her eyes, Kitana went back to her book. However, her cheeks had taken a light shade of pink which pleased (y/n). No matter how much the Empress got to hear compliments from them, they always seemed to make her blush.

"Are you enjoying yourself?"

Chuckling, they leaned on the chair while stretching the now asleep arm they were propped against.

"Quite much but I'd say I'm enjoying you more"

The sound of a book closing echoed around the two of them before Kitana playfully kicked (y/n) foot underneath the table. Smirking, they reciprocated. One thing led to another and soon the two found themselves on training grounds, fighting as well as flirting. Let's just say that their free time wasn't spent relaxing.

You slightly cringe when he makes terrible jokes (or jokes at all)

You tell Johnny that he’s a horrible and self sophisticated ‘husband.’

Your always with him just in case he says something that you’ll know that makes other people cringe. (you usually drag him away by the ear)

Cassie (and maybe Sonya sometimes) come to you for advice on how to deal with Johnny. Your advice is to ignore him which shocks them because.. well, I don’t think Johnny would handle someone ignoring him lightly. (he would most likely annoy them more)

Johnny would try and make you an actor, saying that you have a poker face and could “be a Hollywood star.” But you would decline, saying that you don’t want to end up like him.

[Name] would only be around Cass, since she is her saviour and her protector

Cass would always joke around with [Name] and help her pull pranks in the Special Forces

When Cass finds out that they have a crush on her, she also likes them back and started to date sooner or later

Since there is no tournament nor Shao Khan to worry about, Shang Tsung would probably not have to work as much. I’d imagine he’s basically the male wife of the marriage😆 Medusa!Reader is more the breadwinner, as you had a job long before marrying Shang Tsung.

Consider perhaps You and Shang Tsung married AFTER the Mortal Kombat Tournament, where Shang Tsung DIDN’T betray Earthrealm. Meaning not only was the venue larger and filled with your fellow combatants (including Quan-chi as the best man) but Raiden was also the officiant.

You’re still a Gorgon, but it wasn’t the Elder Gods that cursed you as much as it was Shao Khan who did so. However, Shang Tsung avoided his rapid aging curse and need for souls.

After you and Shang Tsung married, you had your eldest child, Jin, a year later. You saw no reason to not have them, as you and Shang Tsung live comfortably, don’t have any world-ending enemies, and you have the means to do so. However, if anyone’s seen Shang Tsung’s island and his palace, it’s obvious you both could afford having more than one child. Given you have plenty of servants to help with keeping the palace tidy and see to the children when neither you or Shang Tsung are available. Sometimes they try to get rid of their younger siblings when they first arrive. Once Shang Tsung caught the triplets trying to offer their younger twin siblings to some Netherworld demon in return for knowledge.

Despite the Shang House having their ups and downs, there is love and devotion within the strange home. Despite the passing eons, you and Shang Tsung can’t keep your hands off one another, much to the disgust of your children and Quan-chi at times. Reiko is a massive softie to zeffeero, and to zeffeero specifically. bro grew up with him bro knows every dumb and embarrassing thing he's done.

vise versa, Reiko still pokes fun at Zeffeero for things hes done when they where kids

Reiko calls Zeffeero "Zeff", if hes upset he'll call him Rain in the most "Fuck you" voice.

Zeffeero fell first but has the ability to tell if he likes someone equal to a goldfish.

Reiko fell second and he couldnt sleep for weeks.

(kinda sad) the last time the two talked before the events of the story, Reiko came to Zeffeero asking for help when polishing his armor. They chatted about the tournament and ended up spending the entire day together. they didnt talk again after that until they ran into each other post story. "why are you following me?" "the general still needs your skill" (not exact quote but yknow)

Zeffeero used to go to Reiko first every time he got injured cause Reiko said he needed to get better at fixing injuries. Zeffeero wanted to help. he ended up with a lot of ugly scars.

Reiko was a troublemaker as a kid, Zeffero had to get him out of a lot of trouble.

the roles switched when they became teenagers. Zeffeeros growing ambition caused him to do stupid things.

Reiko is bisexual, Zeffero is Asexual and Demiromantic.

Zeffeero has a stuffed goldfish (the one mk11 rain gets in his friendship) Reiko called it "Gibby" and the name stuck.

And no i don't play T_T I own MK11 and X but I dont own anything that can run MK1 but the switch (and its not worth $70 for those graphics) that and I'm really bad at fighting games (I like bullet-hell's and platformer's)
