i just finished reload, and it was so good, and i'm itching to write for it! i'm on the lookout for a mxm roleplay, and i'd love to write makoto yuki against one of the guys from the game! i'd be most interested in a ryoji mochizuke, shinjiro aragaki or akihiko sanada, but i'd love a junpei iori as well! i'd also love to include other characters and really expand on the plot we come up with :) i do have ideas though!

Mirror Yua/TR Yua Bio

Alright, this time I definitely need to make the comment before showing the bio.

Yua is a character created by my dear friend @odie1441, who has a very unique and awesome take in MK as well as awesome drawings you should go and see! ❤️

Developing what a version of her and her story could be in Twisted Reflection ended up being super helpful to develop the Shirai Ryu in this universe, so I decided to actually use her. But, as I have just said, Odie's lore for her take on MK is very unique, so I have to give some context for the casual reader to understand the whole deal of this version of the character.

The bio is intentionally wordy and explicative in an attempt to provide enough context for this version of the character to by understood by itself with no need of knowing the original version, but I feel that explaining who two characters are would be useful:

-Chiyome Mochizuki. She is an 'historical figure' (her existence is discussed among historians, the Wikipedia article in particular claims there is tons of evidence against it) Odie decided to fictionalize and use in her lore. You can click in her name to see her article in Wikipedia, but, basically, she is the alleged founder of a clan of kunoichis. In Odie's version she is an ally of the Shirai Ryu back when the clan was leadered by its founder, Takeda.

-Kyoko. She is another OC of Odie. A summary of the story of her main version would deserve of its own post. Nonetheless, her Twisted Reflection counterpart is just backstory for other characters, so I will recommend the casual reader to just read the bios of Mirror Mileena and Mirror Skarlet, which, alongside this one, I hope give an idea of what's the story of the Twisted Reflection counterpart of Kyoko with no need of knowing what's her main counterpart deal.

With all this said, I proceed to show up the bio in hopes it is understandable for the casual reader. If not, please tell me and I will make an effort to specify things even more lmao.

Born in China more than four hundred years ago, Yua was once an orphan who was taken in by the clan of Chiyome Mochizuki. This was a clan of kunoichis who lived quite a violent life, and, as such, she was trained to become an assassin. She proved so talented for combat and espionage that she was moved to the main territories of the clan in Japan to serve under their leader directly. Despite her less than ideal lifestyle, she became caring to those around her, her fellow kunoichi who she considered family.

One day, when Yua was still a teenager, a new clan member who would be important for her in the future arrived. Princess Kyoko of Edenia, who after running away from her family and realm ended up in Japan. She joined Mochizuke Chiyome’s clan out of need for a new home. Thanks to magic methods provided by Shang Tsung, a good-hearted sorcerer some members of the clan had contact with, she was able to accelerate her aging so she could have a normal life in Earthrealm.

Due to Kyoko’s Tarkatan mouth, many of her age were scared of her, and thus she remained alone for a long time. Yua, who felt compassion for her despite any physical features and (as a chinese person in japanese territories) could relate to everyone around her rejecting her sometimes, was the first one who approached and connected with her. They started spending time together, eventually becoming friends, and later even falling in love. During that time Yua discovered everything about Kyoko’s past, including how she regretted not having been able to make Kitana, Mileena and Skarlet see that the Edenian Regime was wronging both their lives and those of most of the people of the different realms they had influence over. Yua felt sorry for her and hoped one day their sisters and her could be reunited… which would turn out to be impossible.

During this time period of the feudal Japan, ninja clans were in constant conflict for superiority, and Mochizuki’s clan were no exception. She was once an ally of Takeda, the deserter of the Lin Kuei and founder of the Shirai Ryu, who, by that time, were known for being quite ruthless even by standards of assassin clans, burning entire villages to the ground when it seemed convenient. Many members of Mochizuki’s clan, who despite being assassins had a strict code against harming civilians, were disgusted by their actions, but their leader found their alliance too convenient to break it. This would prove their undoing. 

When Takeda thought Mochizuki’s clan was growing stronger, eventually seeing them as a threat. In his paranoia, he ordered his warriors to wipe them out before they could become too powerful and challenge them. One day, before Yua and Kyoko could even process what was going on, their home was set on fire. They tried to escape together, in hopes the rest of their friends would also make it. This ended up proving impossible, as Kyoko had to sacrifice herself so the person who she loved the most could survive. Yua lost everything and became the last surviving member of her clan after that day…

After recovering as much as she could from the traumatic event and reflecting on what she could do from then on, she took a chance given by a friendly interrealm tournament organized by Shang Tsung to see if there she could find more allies, wanting to make the Shirai Ryu pay for what they had done.

At the tournament, she met some of the sisters Kyoko had told her about, who were there more as an excuse to meet with potential future allies rather than really being interested in the tournament. She first found Princess Mileena, who she mistook for Kyoko before realizing who she really was. She tried to speak with her, but they were interrupted by Princess Kitana, who decided to interrogate Yua in private. Kitana discovered the truth of what had happened to her sister there. Learning that she was gone made the Princess more furious than she ever had been. She decided to hide the truth from Mileena and Skarlet to spare them the pain, as well as to ensure her sister’s death was avenged.

Kitana reunited with Lord Raiden and, after a long conversation with him, she was given permission to strike down the Shirai Ryu and impose the Edenian Regime ways in their territory, and just in their territory. The logic that Raiden was allegedly following was that by killing Princess Kyoko the clan had already become involved in Edenia’s affairs, but the truth was that Raiden wanted to use that loophole ensure the Shirai Ryu (who he considered heinous due to their methods but could not stop without breaking his then non-interference policy) would be stopped, and that a part of him wanted to see the results of the Edenian Regime regulating an Earthrealm society.

A group of Edenian soldiers leadered by Princess Kitana attacked the Shirai Ryu that day, joined by Yua. The Edenian forces easily overcame the Shirai Ryu warriors, and Takeda himself was slain by Kitana and Yua as retribution. After the battle was over, just like Kitana had promised to Yua and Raiden, all civilians and the warriors who surrendered were spared, and treated with compassion by Princess Kitana… which, of course, from her point of view implied enforcing the Edenian Regime’s laws to them from now on, making them know ‘peace’.

It took little time for Yua to realize the mistake she had committed. In her anger, she had actually spat in Kyoko’s grave by prioritizing revenge over trying to make her sisters realize the wrongs of the Edenian Regime, and that had cost innocent civilians being under the tyrannical regime from then on. Regretful and ashamed, she swore to correct that mistake and redeem herself, no matter how long it took.

Thanks to the generosity of Shang Tsung, Yua has been able to slow her aging, remaining alive until the present day. She is now known as a mysterious warrior who constantly works with many factions which opposed the Edenian Regime, and has the personal mission of stopping them on top of making the Edenian Princesses see the wrongs of the Regime they enforce so Kyoko’s dream can come true.

Theres no way that i could ask for a break down of what you see in his ftes in ask format is is there?? I already love korekiyo, but I'm really curious about what you have to say.

I can do that! The only thing is that most of what he says I’ll be quoting from memory, but direct quotes can be found in his FTEs and in-game dialogue on wiki. I’ll do my best to provide as many screenshots as I can, but I doubt I will be able to find all, it’s a very long process and I dont have the whole day.V3 spoilers below, ofc. Also TW various types of abuse, you know the drill if you played the game. Long post!Let’s start from what we know about Korekiyo. What makes him Korekiyo, what makes him stand out, what’s special about him. 

- Unique outfit- Long hair- His deep knowledge of anthropology- His interest in occult/speaking to the dead- His deep relationship with death, grief and how he looks at it- His love for ropes- Being a serial killer

Now let’s break down every trait he has and where it comes from.

Unique outfit

FTE 3, he tells us his sister made it for him to suit her tastes, claiming his school uniform doesnt suit him.

Long hairI don’t remember if it was mentioned in-game, but it was mentioned in V3 manga anthology, that his long hair is a memento to his sister, since she had long hair, so he refuses to cut it. It is stated that events of manga obviously not canon, but I dont think this claim was outside of his canon characterisation. 

His deep knowledge of anthropology

In the same FTE he mentions that Sister was the one who “pushed him to research as much as he could”

His interest in occult/speaking to the dead + his relationship with death and griefI dont think i gotta find proof for that, he mentioned travelling looking to speak to the dead, the whole ch 3 with Caged Child + he mentioned having near-death experience after a seanse (see next bullet point), and that’s how his Sister came to him.He speaks about human mortality and coming to terms with it, but he himself cant do that. 

He doesnt fear death, maybe he even seeks it - to reunite with his Sister [cut to him enduring his execution and seeing his spirit happy and free, ready to meet her] but no way he could properly cope with human mortality and his own grief. That’s where all the occult stuff comes in - him telling how he tried so many things and how nothing worked (?). He says it during ch3 investigation, if you wanna look for a direct quote. Him being into occult, speaking with the dead, being possessed by his Sister - all of it is just his ways of coping with loss. He was very dependant on her (I’ll talk about it more below) and couldnt stand being alone.

His love for ropesOf course it can be a kinky thing but also look closely at this exchange:

This incident with ropes is what actually ended up “reuniting” him with his Sister. Of course he’d hold a special interest to this kind of activity after. 

Being a serial killerWell this one is obvious. Who did he kill? Girls. Why did he do it? To bring friends to his Sister. Simple as that.

Now look back at every bullet point and tell me: do you see a pattern? Yep, every aspect of his life, likes, personality, experiences, even his looks - it all traces back to his Sister. Controlling what he wears, what he does, what he likes; even after her death he is deeply affected and is devoted to doing everything in her name. Now try to recall one single thing about Korekiyo that wasn’t his Sister influence. Something he likes maybe? Something he enjoys on his own free time? Even his official dislike is a reference to a gift you might give in-game, an air refreshener that exorcises ghosts [He believes that he is possesed]. All I can think of is him telling he prefers green tea over black in one of FTEs. Korekiyo that we see and interact with in game isn’t his own person, just a reflection of grief, his Sister wants and needs. His whole existence is just a devotion to his late Sister, and it was the same way when she was alive.

Sister’s personality

From what I mentioned you should already hear the faint bells ringing in your head. “Pushed me to study” “Told me my uniform doesnt suit me” “I will kill people because her spirit told me to”He respected her, depended on her a lot. No shit, Sherlock - he was his Older Sibling. A side note, he never mentioned anyone else from his family, only said that they “had to hide their relationship from others” once. Sadly, I cant remember where it was said. No matter if he had any family present or not (having no family would worsen the case, but with family present its still fucked up) he still depended on her a lot, maybe considered her a parental figure, or at the very least - a role model. Korekiyo’s analysis on youtube brings up a very valid point - anthropology couldve been her passion as well, she just couldnt actually fullfill it because of the sickness. Explains her “pushing” him to research it.Basically we have an older sibling holding power over a younger sibling, presumably, from a younger age. More of her personality and influence can be seen in his trial. “You mustnt lose composure, you mustnt become flustered, you mustnt waver”Im linking this bit, but I strongly recommend rewatching the full version where his Sister appears. She appears to be his guardian, keeping him in check, making him act right. Telling him what to do and how to act. She appears in moments of distress when he needs comfort. He depends on her, he listens, he does everything she tells him to. Im not gonna get into the whole tulpa thing, so if youre not on board with it, I recommend reading into it more, even wiki has a brief explanation. Basically this possession is just his mind, but it does hold her true personality. So Sister is: assertive, calm, plays a role of guardian, has power over Korekiyo due her age, his respect and dependance on her, probably her being his parental figure. 

Now tell me, how this power dynamic could be healthy, consensual and (a very popular opinion in the fandom) this relationship was started from Korekiyo’s advances? How a younger sibling, that was so dependant and devoted could be in a consensual relationship with his older sibling that always tells him what to do?Korekiyo was groomed, he’s a victim. Most people in fandom hate him for being creepy and a sister-banging freak, because he doesn’t fit your cookie-cutter perseption of abuse victims. Everyone thinks that abuse victims only come in “i hate my abuser, i am currently away from them and i am healing” package. Korekiyo was never given a chance to realize it was wrong, he never got a chance to heal. He was groomed, abused, used and forced into relationship. Told that it was secret and sacred, that theyre breaking the boundaries, that’s why he mustnt tell anyone about it. Of course he believed her - its his Sister. She convinced him that his love and dependance on her was romantic/sexual love.

The same analysis brings up a good point of his Sister guilt tripping him because of her illness. Never getting a chance for romantic love, never getting a chance to make friends.

What breaks my heart is that after all of this, after devoting his life to his Sister, studying what she wanted, wearing what she wanted, killing for her sake and even being executed because of her - he says that he wasn’t enough.

TLDR - Their power dynamic is very obvious from his FTEs and the trial, he was clearly groomed and abused, never got to recover from her manipulations. And fandom either fetishisizes their relationship, excusing their nasty kinks by saying it was consensual, or hates him because they never took the time to analyze the content. He was abused, he was manipulated, god knows what else was done to him when she was alive, and he died driven to insanity, full of grief devoted to his Sister and blaming himself for not being enough. As a side-note: it is completely okay being uncomfortable with his character/everything that happened in ch3. You dont owe anyone interacting with the piece of media depicting such topics. Your comfort and safety comes first. Kodaka is a shitty fucking writer. What is not okay is hating a character for being a victim.

Yokohama was still the same as ever, as in Mochi's perspective, everyone fears Tenjiku or tried to go against them; he continues to walk around just to make sure he has his mind distracted to himself—hearing from Rindou that he got dragged by Kakucho to a Yakuza hideout was another thing that bothered him, but mostly it's Shion who kept on insisting that they should spar. Though mostly it's the latter that's knocked on the ground because of the vast difference between their strengths, kind of idiotic in a sense, but he acknowledges his resolve.

As he continue his walks, he stumbled upon a group of thugs, seemingly ganging up on someone. Their boisterous laughter bothered almost anyone, even the bystanders who looked hesitant at helping the one being in the middle of the situation. Mochi contemplated whether to reach out or to have a talk (rather fist fighting) with them for two. But his ears heard a disgruntled sigh of a soft spoken person, and that's enough for him to shove the watching people and approached the thugs.

“What the hell is up with you huh!?”

“My fists in your face that is!”

He assaults them in a graphic way which made everyone scramble and tried calling the police. Mochi didn't care, his fists was itching for a fight. He lands a heavy punch on someone's face and seeing blood trickle on their faces was enough for him to continue, never looking at someone who looking at him with a surprised look—their eyes intent, focused on him alone; you stood there, quiet but in a daze. You wonder if violence was beautifully portrayed, seeing the example right in front of you. Mochi smiles as he fights, he fights with vigor and confidence and you can't help but to be in awe.

He is finished with these thugs, some blood splattered on his face. He shrugs his fist away before looking at you, he didn't say anything at first to amplify the awkwardness. “You okay there?” you hear his voice, you can't help but to fiddle your fingers hearing how rough his voice was but a tinge of softness reached your ears. You smiled at him before bowing slightly. “I'm fine, thank you very much, may I ask your name?” he says his name, Kanji Mochizuke. You continued to listen, it seems that he's a different person when interacting with someone else, especially when they don't concerned fighting.

He hears your name, he thought to himself, ‘It suits them,’ he wasn't a fan of remembering names, but hearing yours felt pleasant, relaxing even; he just looked at you with a stoic face, you don't know if he's interested or now, that made you uncertain so you bowed your head and immediately left.

You didn't notice the surprised expression splattered on his face, and Shion appeared out of nowhere to tease him, saying that he got themselves an admirer.

Shion landed on the ground again, with a bruise on his face after Mochi punched him heavily.

Turns out when he knew your name, everyone else was on it. The Haitani Brothers, Kakucho, and Izana too. They were looking at him with an intense stare which made him look hesitant into prying further. But they insisted (or rather forced themselves), they knew your school which you studied on, and your past hobbies and what you like. Mochi thinks of them as stalkers, but they defend themselves for, ‘the sake of our friend who seems to have a crush on you’ part which made him sigh and leave their hideout.

And by golly, he sees you again, this time in one of the places that you enjoyed being in.

“What the hell? They were right?”

You noticed him staring at you, you tried to scramble away but he approached you, still with his stoic and seemingly grumpy face. “Never expected to see you here,” he says with a sigh.

You both engage in small talks, now converting onto full-blown conversations though you are not sure if he's interested in your hobbies making knitted things, or you being in a photography club; he continues on by talking about his approaches in fight, being a delinquent as he is, he's bound to get into a lot of fights especially if there's a gang battle being held in one of the appointed places, mostly abandoned ones. Despite the odds of him thinking that you might get bored in the conversation, as he thinks out to be, in your mind you were too invested in it—though violence scares you, it would seem that when he tells your everything, it feels fun and enjoyable.

But you won't admit it, who in their right mind enjoys shoving their fist up in someone's face?

Mochi would offer himself, but he'll think of that as weird.

You both spend the moment in awful silence contemplating whether you spoke the right words or the good topics. But that won't mean that you both didn't continue talking to each other.

Months had passed, Mochi finds himself being drawn towards your presence. After a fight, he approaches you to help him out with bandaging his bruises and wounds. Though you scold him for fighting too much, he doesn't mind whatever you say as long as he hears your voice—it feels like he's in a place where he's at ease, like a valley full of flowers that he can lay himself to. That was him falling in love with you, his chest heaves up and down in admiration, staring at your eyes and drowns himself to the sight of it sparkling.

But no, he cannot admit his harbored feelings. Why would you like him, a delinquent who punches other thugs for fun? It would look stupid to assume that you like him or anything. So he sits beside you, trying to brush off the thought of acceptance—his feelings to be hidden deep within himself, he blames his current state that fell in love with you.

“If only they met me when I'm not a thug or a delinquent.”

But you? You looked at him, patching him up quietly as you frowned slightly. You don't want to see him in bruises or wounds, you care for him, though you don't want to admit—your face trembles at the feeling of anxiety coursing through your veins, you are afraid of confessing to him. Why? Because you assumed that he is into sexy people who could be with him or help him fight with others; you were frail, and doesn't like violence at all. So you harbored your thoughts to yourself, mustering up a conversation that you wish to start.

“Hey, you seemed quiet,” he starts it finally. He sat up and went beside you, looking at your smaller figure and tried to be gentle with his words once more. “Is something bothering you?”

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴. You wished to admit, you wanted to express your emotions that you kept for the last five months of you both meeting up in that fateful encounter; you looked at him with an embarrassed expression, fiddling your fingers like a child wanting to give something back to their crush. “It's nothing, Mochi. I'm fine,” you lied as you looked away. You were taken aback when he held your hand, his calloused ones over yours. His eyes focused on you, now showing off a gentle look and a slow turn of his head tilting on the side. “I know you, you're feeling down. What's the problem?”

You want to punch the wall. You trembled as you tried to speak, words never came out of your mouth, only hushed noises of hesitation and doubt in yourself. But he reassures you again, rubbing the small of your back and quietly cradling you in his large build. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘢 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯, you say to yourself in awe as you confide with him. “It is hard when you are scared of telling someone your feelings that you kept to yourself,” you were always a straightforwarded person, Mochi knows that, so he lets you speak out loud for him. “What will I do if they don't like me back? It's gonna be painful.”

He doesn't know much about love, but if you're willing to love him, he will learn it just for you—after all, he's just a person that loves you for your gentleness, your enthusiasm when it comes to showing him your masterpieces of your knitting skills, and your touches that felt healing. He loves all of you, and he truly does.

So he hugged you tightly, taking in your vanilla scent on his nose, comforting himself.

“I love you,” he says in a low, hushed tone. “But I won't force myself to be in your space if you don't want me to. I prioritize you after all.”

He confessed, with his eyes on you, his gentle smile decorated on his face. He was looking at you with adoration and devotion, something that you seemingly failed to notice from him. You just realized that he has feelings for you.

You looked at him with a tearful face. Unable to contain your emotions, like a whipsplash that drenched you of a familiar and foreign concept of admiration. You held him close, hugging back and leaning in to him.

“The same with me,” you whispered. “I love you, since you appeared before my eyes,” you continued on. “I thought you wouldn't want someone like me, frail and someone who doesn't like fighting.”

“Why would I hate you for that? I would protect you because you're you. You're you for liking knitting something, liking your photography club and going to your favorite places.”

He is such a gentle giant, holding you close to him as you both sat in a quiet park.

You and Mochi spent the entire day in each other's embrace, and now looking forward to the future where someday, Mochi will offer you a ring, and you will accept it with all of your heart.

That's a good question anon 🤭 I dont think he fits the 'horsecock' criteria, but he's still above average. He is a bit longer but mostly really girthy, and also quite veiny.

Dont get me wrong tho, Mochi is a gentleman and will be sure you're prepared enough (he mastered fingering for that reason), and trust me, you come to love those veins (especially the one on the right). f

Dick game-wise, well, he still has room for improvement but that probs come from his lack of sexual partner (he is not that fond of one-night stands).
