I'm glad you like our blog! Unfortunately I know of literally no factfolk resources, since, like you said, most of the community hates us. Most factfolk "resources" that are even vaguely pro-factfolk completely misrepresent us (often saying things like "factkin aren't actually who they say identify as and don't transition in any way or tell people their kin identities, that would be bad!" which is completely untrue). In all honesty, one of the only resources I know of is our blog because there are very little factfolks and most of them have the "I don't actually believe I'm (person), I'm not delusional!" mindset. If you want any information we're happy to help though!

I try holding off on serious topics because well, it's hard for me to do so and I don't like coming off as confrontational but there are two things I do want to address that have been a issue in the fanganronpa community for awhile now, specifically on tumblr.

Firstly is the severe issue of spam tagging. There are many blogs i've seen that's been spamming a lot of the fangan tags with posts mostly from story driven blogs but there have been some others guilty of this too. I want to make clear wanting to get attention for your story or posts are completely okay it's understandable to try and get an audience in ways that you can, however it becomes a big issue when it starts flooding tags and making it difficult for users to find content for their favorite characters or fangans, because that is what this spamming is doing it's making it increasingly more difficult to find fanworks such as fanart, fanfiction, or even official fangan posts and that creates a problem. And while yes blocking is a solution this is an issue that is not caused by just one person, and I want to believe it's not intentional. My offer of a solution to this is tagging only posts that have significant impact in your story or moments that show greatly what your story blog is about, I also offer an alternative of creating unique tags to prevent posts from flooding the tags, this way everyone is happy. As for the others all I can really say is to please consider what you are putting into the tags, personal posts do not belong in main tags, it's important to keep in mind when you put your post up online and tag it here on tumblr people will see it so it's important you are aware what exactly you are planning on showing to other people, post and tag accordingly for your and others convenience.

Secondly I want to discuss another issue i've seen with some blogs that being some have either forgotten or disregarded certain fangan creators rules. I am not a confrontational person so I am not saying what blogs or what fangans but please take this more as a reminder and not a lecture: Please read and look through fangan creators boundaries and rules before using their characters for anything. Let that be using their art, sprites, characters, or literally anything. It is important to remember fangan creators small or big are still human beings creating a fanmade work of an already existing franchise meaning their works are just another fans fanpiece, meaning those fanpieces should still be treated as any other fan related work. Be kind, respectful, and mindful of what you are doing with someone else's work.

Your Cubito, Your Culture is an experimental MCYT community event, first launching in 2024. The goal is simple: incorporate an aspect of your local, regional, national, ethnic, etc. culture into your work, such that it becomes a significant part of your work!

We all know that creating works involving a culture that you don't know much about requires a lot of research, so let's start with something that each of us are likely more familiar with, shall we?

Q1: Is there a limitation or restriction for what quality or quantity work I can make for this event?

A1: Not really. No word limits for writers, no art quality restrictions for artists, and create however many works you want; this is an experimental event (at least for now) and it's all meant to be in good fun. That said, a certain degree of quality control is expected, so please make sure that you can consider your own work to be completed or satisfactory before you submit it.

Q2: Am I restricted to creating works about characters whose content creator counterparts are from my own culture?

A2: Nope! On a more personal note, if that were to be the case, I, as the event host/mod, would be having a hard time writing about the cubitos that I'm interested in, and I'm not about to do that.

Q3: What if there's an aspect of my culture that I cannot directly translate into my work?

A3: Feel free to adapt it to the setting as you wish! It's your culture, after all.

Q4: Am I allowed to create works in which non-English languages play a significant role (e.g. fanfics written in a non-English language, code-mixing between two or more dialects/languages)?

A4: Yes, and that ties into one of the reasons this event was created for: international cultural appreciation! It's up to you if you want to provide a translated summary/version/etc. We trust that all works (and translations, if any) are created in good faith.

Welcome to the third semiannual Lautski week. This event occurs twice a year, once in the summer and once in the winter, to commemorate the shared love so many of us have for Hatchetfield High's most unlikely it couple! Mod is @peterstankoffski and uses they/them pronouns, and you've probably seen me lurking around the lautski tag since it was created. It's been a lovely little 2.5 years getting to enjoy this ship with everyone.

This year the summer event will be in July instead of May so everyone who is interested has plenty of time to prepare. I understand now through June is fairly bust for many people due to finals, so moving it later into the summer was definitely for the best (thank you to everyone who voted in the dates tiebreaker poll the other day!)

And with that, some FAQ!

Q: What are alternates?

A: Alternates are two extra prompts in case one of them leaves you stumped! They can be used any day, or they can not be used at all! It’s up to each individual participant!

Q: Do I have to do all seven days?

A: You’re free to do as many as you want! You can do all seven, you can do just a few, hell, you could do all nine in you wanted! This isn’t a challenge, it’s an event. The main goal is to make some posts about this ship we’re all brainrotting for and having fun.

Q: What can I make?

A: Anything you want! Art, fics, edits, memes, etc. Nothing’s off the table.

Q: How do I post?

Hello!

I’m sure you all have noticed, but we’ve reached the (current) end of the Pokédex! 🎉🎉🎉

I’ve mentioned it before, but for now this blog will be rather quiet. I’ll pop in here and there when I have the energy to do a request, and I’m sure we’ll have a whole new region’s worth of Pokemon to explore again eventually, but for the most part Ditto has achieved what it’s set out to do.

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for coming along on this silly journey with me. Really, it brought me so much joy to see everyone’s reactions to each. I loved seeing the [insert Pokemon here] propaganda blogs reblog when their Pokemon came up and, as we got into gen 9, people’s disbelief at certain Pokemon being legitimate. I really do hope this blog has brought you as much joy as you all have brought me over the past 3 or so years.

Even if this blog is going quiet, I’m pretty active on my main ( @quins-makeshift-menagerie) and ask blog ( @ask-mirage-mews), so if you decide you wanna follow me there then cool, glad to have ya! If not, I wish you all the best! Remember to take care of yourselves :)
