Not an Aro-culture-is thing but I do have a question you might be able to answer? Is there an aromantic/asexual term for this: AroAce but if I wasn’t I would be gay? It might just be homoplatonic or homoaesthetic but idk if there was a term for it that relates to being AroAce. Thanks! <3

I'm tired of these people. The drama was fun tho #Let's see. Ah! Hiya

I know I’ve been on haitus awhile and honestly I haven’t been feeling so good. Working on blogs has gotten a bit difficult, and while I love the characters and interactions I have understandably put these on the backburners. Between busy work and personal art I’ve been burnt out to the extreme as of late, especially after the sleepover event. I’m not entirely sure I will be participating in Artfight this year.

I’m still creating, it’s just that it’s been hard lately. For those who know me better, you’ll most likely lnow the reason why it’s been so difficult as of late. It’s nothing to do with the community, it’s just work related.

I still intend to come back eventually as I do have arcs and characters to explore, and I have mundays and Fanart Fridays I’m itching to get back to. I always want to give more to the community I just never have time to.

I’ll return eventually, for right now though I’m just coasting along. I’m not doing well but I’ll make it through. I’ve been able to return to characters I’ve missed drawing and thinking about lately which makes me happy. I’m playing games I missed playing recently which makes me happy to spend time on. I think I missed this. I’ll be back, just right now I need some time. Thanks for waiting everyone I really do appreciate it.

now that im finished with this gay fates update i figured i’d show off the other modding project i’ve been working on, which is a dwarf fortress mod to add a lot of stock fantasy creatures i was disappointed weren’t in the game (or any other mods)

This isn’t all of them, but the sprites im most happy with

cockatrice male and female (megabeast, the snake head on the tail injects a venom that paralyzes their foes)

centaur male and female (sentient and similar to animal people)

peryton

various different ent caste

mogalls (a la fire emblem, shadows of velentia’s design specifically)

quetzalcoatl

wurm (megabeast, based on the wurm design from dungeon meshi)

wyverns (come in 4 different colors!)

phoenix (megabeast, skin made of stone and blood made of magma)

griffon and hippogriff (hippogriff are common domestics)

#modding #dwarf fortress #i've made about 20 creatures so far. i did everything i /wanted/ to do but the spriting has been pretty fun so #i might go for like 25 then release it after doing a test fort to make sure they aren't too bullshit #i only started this mod initially bc i think griffons are cool and was sad they're mythical beast in df too #despite like unicorns and dragons being real #so the griffon was the first sprite i did and tbh it looks very scrunkly compared to the later ones i've done so it might get a small resprt #anyways coding wise df raws are both super easy and absurdly complicated #i love specifying what something's blood is made out of and how many hearts it has #i am proud tho i got the arch mogalls to summon the small ones in combat and shoot their own blood out of their eyes :)#also some of these are old sprites since i took screenshots of their old separated versions vs the big sheet #they're all merged onto now that has some touch ups

Her hand always seemed to find his.

Whether she was sad, scared, excited…

It didn't matter.

The Doctor never brought it up, not minding it one bit. He often wondered if Ana knew she was holding his hand. Seemingly caught up in her own little world most times.

There were moments where she'd catch herself. Pulling her hand away instantly. A string of apologies followed. He'd tell her it was alright. The timelord could tell she still felt a sense of shame for reasons he couldn't quite decipher.

Perhaps it was fear of attachment. Something he could relate to.

His heart has been broken more times than he could count. The doctor wonders if that happened to her as well. He could see it in her eyes that Ana longed to be close.

Truth be told, it was nice to have someone's hand to hold. To give a comforting squeeze. To gently hold back.

A nice reminder that you weren't alone.
