I think that this blog really needs to start more thoroughly cleaning out asks. Like the past few ones have been nothing but straight up weird and it’s making the fandom look a lot worse than it actually is. Neopronoun Swiftpaw anon sounds a lot like a made up thing that I absolutely laughed at, and the people who posted about clearly made up ships, defending Bramblestar, or posting a very weird take on who goes to heaven or hell stuff shouldn’t have gone through being posted.

I'm starting to get tired of asks like these.

You have no idea what does and doesn't get deleted from the confession box. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean it's not someone else's opinion. Yes, stuff slips through the cracks sometimes but we're not here to censor people just because they like a certain character or have a certain opinion about a ship.

At the end of the day, this blog is for people to share their opinions. As long as it's not inherently harmful it's gonna get posted. If it abides by the rules it gets added to the queue. Yes, even if it is about someone liking a character you don't like or being 'weird'.

If you don't like what you're seeing then you're free to unfollow. If you genuinely have a problem with something that has been posted and you think it's harmful, that's fine. We welcome feedback and we're happy to delete things if we get it wrong. But we can't just start deleting things preemptively in case some people don't like them.

I used CatGen to create custom moooostly canon accurate ThunderClan in ClanGen. This ClanGen takes place right after the battle with BloodClan, the moon Squirrelkit and Leafkit are born. Old faces like Firestar and Cinderpelt are back with their clanmates, along with Ravenpaw, Barley, Princess and Smudge outside the clans (and some StarClan and Dark Forest Spirits!) . There's a lot of canon divergence, including cats that were omitted entirely and some timeline tweaks, which are detailed below cut. Some cats I added for funsies; this ThunderClan includes a spared Scourge grappling with his actions, Swiftpaw, and Snowkit!

Omitted Cats:

General Note: A lot of cats who were dead before the events of The Prophecies Begin are not here. I'd honestly love to add more guys into StarClan and probably will, but the absurd amount of Unsavory Relationships created by the gnarled family trees of early Warrior Cats would literally make the game less fun. So a lot of cats like Redtail and Spottedleaf or Lionheart do not have parents coded into the game, and minus Thunderstar and Jake, no cats from before TPB are in StarClan. Maybe one day I'll make a living document custom ThunderClanGen, but this is just for fun, and so I'd like to steer away from that. The other clans are present, as in RiverClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan Exist in the Game, but since ClanGen only allows you to toggle the allegiances for one clan plus cats outside the clans, their warriors aren't coded into the game. This (unfortunately) includes Tawnypaw.

This is an entirely self indulgent AU and so a few cats who I just straight up don't like aren't here. Some cats didn't make it because I wanted to keep the roster small. The following list of cats are cats who were alive during the time this is occurring, but were omitted from ThunderClan:

Bramblepaw, Ashpaw, Dustpelt, One-Eye, Dappletail

"Revived" Characters: (canon names are italicized)

Swiftstride (Swiftpaw), Snowpaw (Snowkit), Frostpaw (Scourge)

Timeline Changes:

Longtail was blinded in the battle against BloodClan. This is so I don't have to go in and mess with code moons into the Gen and possibly mess things up/corrupt the entire file. I also didn't want to create a situation where he never goes blind - he is a canonically disabled character and I'm not going to leave it up to a coinflip/rng to honor that.

Sandstorm is deputy of ThunderClan, chosen after Whitestorm's death in the BloodClan Battle. Greystripe never occupies the position.

Snowpaw (Snowkit) is training to be a warrior. He is apprenticed to Sandstorm.

Swiftstride (Swiftpaw) survived the dog attack, sustaining many severe wounds including a lost leg.

Cultural/Canon Changes:

Cats who are disabled can decide on their role in the clan. Longtail remains a warrior after being blinded. Snowpaw eagerly pursues the path of a warrior. Cinderpelt isn't forced to become a medic. Her chronic pain and injury makes warriorhood difficult to pursue, and her time spent recovering in the medic's den with Yellowfang foster a love for healing. Both of these things inform her own choice to be a medic. As a person who has recently had to scale back on or entirely quit major passions of mine because of my own chronic pain, this story line means a lot to me. Sometimes our disabilities do keep us from walking the path in life we want, and that's okay - we can still find happiness and fulfillment just like Cinderpelt.

Queens can become deputies/leaders and leaders/deputies can have kits without being expected to give up their positions.

Goldenflower and Bramblestar headcannons, he loves his buff momma okay.

I totally agree with you on that. Bramblestar is a mama’s boy and I love that so much! I always thought he was a mama’s boy in the beginning haha!

Goldenflower taught Bramblestar how to cook and they both enjoyed it so much! They love making desserts and delicious salads together and just serving their family with their food.

So, Goldenflower taught Brambleclaw how to play the ukulele and the piano!

Goldenflower would usually get frustrated whenever she brushed Bramblestar’s hair when he was younger. Bramble’s hair is always sticking out like he rubbed his head with a balloon all the time. It takes him a while to get his hair under control.

Bramblestar goes all out on Mother’s Day for Goldenflower! He makes Goldenflower’s favorite food for breakfast, gets a special gift or creates a drawing for her, and to end it all… A huge family dinner to celebrate Mother’s Day and all of the children Goldenflower took care of sings to her a song and Goldenflower would just tear up with happiness and love.

When Bramblestar was younger and he had nightmares, he would bring his stuffed rabbit and go to Goldenflower’s room. Bramblestar would just say that he had a nightmare and Goldenflower would stay with him in his room and would sing him a lullaby until he falls asleep. Bramble always felt safer when Golden was with him.

Bramblestar may look like his father, but his eyes are just like his mother! People had commented before that he has warm and caring eyes like Goldenflower.

Goldenflower loves that Bramblestar and Tawnypelt sees Whitestorm as their uncle! She always bring them along whenever Whitestorm is feeling down and Whitestorm always lights up whenever he sees his favorite niece and nephew.

Goldenflower has a bunch of picture of Bramble and Tawny in matching costumes when they were younger during Halloween. Her favorite pictures are Swiftpaw taking them out for trick or treating and the twins sitting on their big brother’s lap.

Also, I fully support Bramblestar being named after his mom. Brambleflower! It has a nice ring to it.

What If Scenarios

I asked the other mods to give me some kits or apprentices that died young, so that I could give some ideas on what I'd do with them instead:

Lynxkit of ThunderClan:

Potential names: Lynxpatch or Lynxfang

She'd have Patchpelt as her mentor instead of father like canon... Tigerstar is probably her father here but I'm not exactly sure- She's close with her little sister Tawnypelt and the two look very alike! She and Swift aren't... too close. She's actually more friendly with Thornpaw and Fernpaw to contrast with Swift, Cloud and Bright- because I think its funny- She's a lot more studious and very hard headed. She sticks to her own ideals, she reminds me a lot of both her parents and Swiftpaw lmao. Also decided she should be Ferncloud's mate.

-patch suffix because of her mentor and -fang suffix because she's a good fighter and has a sharp tongue

Potential names: Snowmistle or Snowshine Snowkit beloved... I love the idea of Snowkit becoming a guard of sorts? Like someone who actively keeps watch. I think that's because I remember Smallear sounding an alarm I the first book and well- Snowkit's his son Brackenfur does train Snowkit tho cuz I like Brackenfur and I like their bond. Along with Speckletail helping them! Snowpaw very much looks up to his big sister Goldenflower and thinks she's really cool... I think it'd be interesting if he ends up in a cross clan relationship... and what if... maybe?? Stormfur or Feathertail?? I'm not sure who else is in that age range tbh-

Willowkit beloved ♡ She's the one I got most attached to as a kid. I imagine she's pretty quiet and basically the polar opposite of her sister with Silverpaw being a bit... stuck up (affectionate) Willowpaw is the type of person to give and give and be humble and kinda later have impostor syndrome... maybe it has to do with her mom- But she sorta eases up when Loudpaw and her start hanging out more... she's kinda like her rock and helps her ground herself when she's *really* spiraling, yes they become mates- I'm not sure who her mentor is here? Probably Sunfish tbh-

- Fall after windfalls... cuz she's the apple of her parents eye ya know? -Berry after... well... who other than Brambleberry ♡ Also cuz she's sweet like berries

Turtlekit of ShadowClan:

Turtlekit is beloved. I love her. She's very close with her cousin Brownpaw... who uh... I'm gonna say is apart of a different litter than Littlecloud and Wetfoot because if not that's just ... weird? Cinderfur was only sire and she and her littermates knew that... but she still wanted to impress him all the same! She's very high achieving and bites off more than she can chew- which is both praised and looked down upon so she's often very confused and seeking out praise while getting in trouble-

She becomes close to Oakpaw and they both just... become frenemies. Both competing yet still respect each other.... it's frenemies to lovers yes. Oakpaw is Oakfur... who is such a nothing character despite training Tawnypelt and Tigerheart lmao. They're both cranky old people yet very much love and respect each other Also I'm giving Tawnypelt to Turtledove/skid to train instead because why not

Rustlepaw of WindClan:

Their mentor will be Webfoot... despite him being his uncle (I imagine he's Whitetail's brother) he's kinda the only one who can sorta... keep down Rustlepaw's eager nature, always getting into everything and having leafs and twigs stuck to their pelt- They're very wreckless and were held back on their Warrior ceremony due to that... but eventually they did get their name and were very happy about it!

Everyone's kinda put off about how eager they are to explore... but they soon settled down after their little siblings were born and was immediately attached to Heatherkit. Before then Rustlefrond/gust was genuinely considering leaving clan life to explore... with their best friend Pebblefoot of RiverClan... of course they're still very close with Pebblefoot regardless

swift/swiftpaw is fine name wise for this blog. simple. my brand. i use xe/xem/xyr, it/its, and he/him pronouns. i do not use tone indicators. swiftpaw and darkstripe are some of my favorite warrior cats.

i have not read past the second arc but i'll draw characters from any books i think. design requests are open. also my posting may be sporadic or i may be absent for periods of time. my fixations phase easily and i have chronic pain so i like. really suck at consistently drawing.
