Like, I've never heard that in my LIFE, I live in the country, I think I know that the abbreviation "coon" refers to a raccoon. So there was a thread on the Moon Guard forums titled "From Murder Hobos to Murder Home Owners! Player Housing Coming To World of Warcraft!

In which the Pook posted "We're going to have the stabbiest HOA ever!" which was then deleted by the AI Bot they have moderating their forum for violating community standards against violence."

The AI moderator could not read the room and figure out that the post was on an RP server's forum for a game where we stab trolls and orcs and those little guys who yiff your corpse in the battle grounds. Like seriously, AI modbot, as a human being I know it can be hard to read the room some times. But c'mon. This isn't World of Ticklefightcraft (results may vary in Goldshire). This is World of Warcraft. The Pook is a level 20 F2P rogue who is a refugee from a disaster that wiped out 80 percent of us. I've done a lot of stabbing.

I mean heck. I'm timewalking Deadmines stabbing everything in sight just to farm linen and wool for an alt so I can level up their tailoring and enchanting. The entire expedition being funded by me singing "stabbity stabbity their life of depravity ends with a knife or two inside their body cavity". This game is a glorious Thomas Kincade painting in honour of the glory of stabbing. I mean, I guess for casters the game is to the honour and glory of shooting, zapping or frying. I dunno, the Pook's a rogue. I just point myself in the right direction and stab.

Your game is a violence simulator and you give the Pook a house? You don't think it's going to be decorated without stabbing being involved? You don't think we'll have a stabby HOA? You know we will. You know we will.

thanks for running this page, it's such a fantastic resource and you clearly put a lot of work into it!! the Black character appreciation event was super fun - it'd be fun to do something like that again, maybe it could be a hastag so it's a little easier for you (and maybe tumblr's weird modbots won't get so mad)? my tablet's acting up, but since it's OCtober, i wanted to share some Black (or, in veronica's case, Black-coded) characters from one of the many personal projects i've been working on on-and-off, so here are some headshot sketches (with colour).

[ID] five sketched busts of different characters. from left to right: plumeria (she/her), a lighter skinned Black girl with warm brown skin and loose brown curls. She has freckles and golden eyes, and wears a pink flower in her hair. her nose is small and flat, and she has a fuller bottom lip.

kindred (he/him), an older mixed Black man with an angular face, pallid, cool brown skin, freckles, and dark circles under his eyes. his curly hair is salt-and-pepper brown and grey, worn in a loose natural style and partially tucked behind his small, pointed ears. he has an aquiline nose, full lips, and red eyes.

nashira (he/him), a Black elf with cool, dark skin and black, cat-like eyes. He has long pointed ears visible amidst the fluffy coils of his silvery and cloud-like afro. he has a cute button nose and full lips, his top lip somewhat fuller than the bottom, and an overall youthful appearance.

veronica (she/her) is a humanoid woman with a cool, medium-brown tone to the thin fur covering her body. her hair is styled in a pink bob that curls back around her face, the fringe pulled back behind her short cat-like horns. Her eyes are a uniform magenta, and she has a button shaped nose and full, heart-shaped lips, with ears that look like butterfly wings.

lucky (they/them) is a Black human whose medium brown skin has an olive undertone. Their long black locs are pulled partially black out of their face with a red scarf. They have a broad, flat nose and full lips, with heavy-lidded dark brown eyes and a short goatee. [/end ID]

these aren't the only Black characters in the project, just the ones mostly finalized that i personally have designed. would love any thoughts you have, and hope you like them! as a note: kindred's skin tone is intentionally very grey. if he looks like a corpse, that's intentional. :')

Cute! I like the range in skin tones and features. The three on the right are my favorite 💕 I might suggest making Lucky's locs more defined as locs instead of just long black hair, but other than that, neat 👍🏾 Why is Kindred's skin grey though? He's supposed to be a vampire?
