The universe responds to your frequency. It does not understand your desires, wants, or needs. All it recognizes is the frequency you're vibrating at. For example, if you vibrate at the frequency of guilt or shame, you will attract things that resonate with that frequency. You have to be tuned into the radio station you want to listen to, just as you must be tuned into the energy you want to manifest in your life.

I already once used the example of changing radio stations, but here is more in a "literal" manner.

Let me explain. We have our own frequency, right? right. So if we have to adjust our frequency to the right radio, we have to listen carefully so we don't miss the station that we want. That's how we work with various frequencies.It is like a subliminal, but instead of affirmation, we get brown or white noise, depending on the frequency. Especially for their relaxing sound, frequency is often used during meditation!

sawyer was sick over the weekend so we got some blood tests done and it turns out she is diabetic, she stayed at the vet a couple of nights, it was really strange to be alone in my room those nights. i spend more time with her than anybody. then we were supposed to pick her up thursday morning and they said to come in the evening instead because her glucose was v low. the vet asked me to find a glucose sensor to bring with me that evening, it was a public holiday so i had to find a pharmacy that was actually open. when we went to get her we waited 90 minutes and the sensor was being weird so they said come back later. finally brought her back home at 11pm and the sensor still wasn't working, had to go buy another sensor and bring her back this morning to switch them out, had to leave her there for a few hours so they could switch them and make sure the new one worked, then come back in the afternoon. i've had like no sleep at all this week, its a miracle i kept my eyes open to get training to give her insulin. she's so much better since she came home, even though she's not stabilised yet she very clearly feels heaps better ❤ it was such a relief to have her sleeping on my bed again last night. i was still up all night because i felt like i needed to keep an eye on her because i didn't have the monitor. we'll be in and out a lot over the next couple of weeks while they fine tune her dosage and monitor her levels.

Worldbuilding timelines and time is actually something I really struggle with because I have quite severe dyscalculia. (I didn't even start giving characters things like birthdays until about a month ago, and I didn't even try with birth years - If you tell me someone was born in 1974, I am still going to really really struggle with telling you how old they will turn this year, and I will probably need a calculator, and I will probably second guess myself, and then I will probably still get it wrong.

Developmental disabilities are evil. Thankfully I can mostly get away with them in writing, but I will give myself a migraine occasionally to work out a timeline lmao

At the moment I say it's approximately 10 years since James' death, give or take a few years because I don't know for sure.

I'm not even entirely sure of their age difference. I don't think it was that significant, James was going for his Associate Professorship so he'd been at university for a while, while also very deep into a long-term career as a celebrity musician (with multiple albums). It's even possible that James was older than Gary, by a couple of years, as I think he was in his early 30s when he died.

If it becomes relevant in the story in a more concrete manner, I will sit down and give myself a guaranteed headache figuring it out, but to avoid the headache and just give myself mild 'rtgugghghghh' feelings, I can only give you approximations anon, I apologise!
