TIL that Moishe Maisel was a tiny creature in Willow

Remembering back to that time that I told my friend "hey, you can eat those mushrooms, but don't consume them with alcohol" which he interpreted as "they'll make you drunk and/or high like when the field guides list psychedelics as poisonous even though they're not" as opposed to "if you eat them with alcohol, you will get coprine poisoning and vomit and shit your whole self" which is what actually happened.

We both learned valuable lessons about communication.

my mom sent me a text today "Moses had sniff school today. He had shed hunt, and lost item search, which were new to him, and the scent tin. He could not have been less interested in the antler, although to be fair he had one million leaves he needed to check first. Lost item went a little more smoothly. And he was very focused and fast with the tin. So I’m hoping now he has the scaffolding for the new stuff next week he’ll remember and be more focused. He was very funny to watch, as always, as he just walked slowly around. It’s like watching Columbo solve a crime."

I figured I would share it here bc Moses the bluetick hound very slowly solving crimes seemed like something everyone would want to imagine

currently listening to it and its so nice to hear luke speak so relaxed (unlike some of his interviews where he seems a bit more reserved haha)

Thoughts on Mrs. Maisel 5x01

- Esther reminds me a lot of her mother.

- Esther talking about Abe in the past tense 😭

- LOVED that Rose called Susie

- Susie getting out of bed was hilarious

- Abe and Susie -> the duo we all need

- these family dinners are so much fun 😂

- Midge, Abe and Joel at the table for kids 😂

- Rose claiming not to understand Midge because she’s too far away but hearing Abe clearly 😂😂

- the Susie and Mike scene at Gordon Ford 😂

- the Mei storyline was to be expected. glad we got to see her again though.

-> i thought the episode was pretty good, my expectations were lower. there were some really fun scenes. can’t wait to watch the next two episodes.
