The Royals:
King Asgore:
Before the war, goat monsters like him were pretty common and they were mostly associated with nobility. He is the last surviving member of the original royal family and tried to postpone as much as he could his duties as new King.
He eventually accepted his position, when he understood that winning the war wasn't the end of their trouble. (And by pressure of the council)
Fell in love with Toriel, but didn't really confess until the war was over. Luckily for him, she accepted his feelings.
Is mostly kept in the dark about the groups of monsters who have been abusing their humans, as the information loses itself on the process of registry.
Was the one who decided to adopt Chara and also the one who decided to hide evidence after 'the situation'.
Plants are his jam and you'll definitely see him at his garden in his spare time, which is not much tbh
Personally, he is not in charge of any slaves, despite the technicalities saying The Crown owns all of them. To solve this, he has 'The Seven Chosen'. These slaves are linked to Toriel's magic, but only serve him. They can be swapped from times to times.
Toriel:
Daughter of a Count. Was supposed to marry one of Asgore's older brothers, but he died during the war. She didn't mind that much, to be fair, it was just an arranged marriage.
Served as a Asgore's light during his darkest times, which kept them going strong as a couple when the war ended.
Humans have a high sense of respect towards her because of her kind ways and gentle guidance.
She is in charge of several slaves(number is not exact). She wears a big bracelet with several linkstones attached to it.
Was the one who found out about 'the situation'.
Has verbally opposed the council loud and clear when they decided to apply the punishment to her children.
With the punishment being applied anyway, she became emotionally distant and most of her smiles are faked. She mastered the ability to do it so, though.
Asriel:
As a perfect blend of his parents, Asriel inherited the kindness, the nurturing nature and the sense of duty. He brought light to the palace when he was born, as he was curious and pleasant to stay around of. He had plenty of acquaintances.
Acquaintances. No friends. There was this stupid barrier between him and most monsters his age. Their parents would tell them, naturally, that they were supposed to treat him with utmost respect and that often meant that kids would allow him to win the games. Barely touch him in fears of 'tainting him'. Never, ever tease him in fears of being sent to the mage tower. Those were... Shallow friendships. And he hated it.
One day, when he was on his father's garden, he met a human. Said human had no magic rune on his body to affirm he was part of the slave program. He also seemed to be way too thin and dirty. Not to mention- Hurt! Asriel helped the human and they became friends.
Not just acquaintances. Friends. This human treated him normally. Without worrying about his position or title. Maybe even, he wasn't even aware of it. This nameless human, was just the right amount of annoying and touching and fun he needed.
Asriel soon found a place for this human to stay inside the palace, a room of his own and for some time, it was a fantasy. Their own world.
But they were found eventually.
Asgore and Toriel were surprised in many levels. A human with no identification and no name. A person who their son actually managed to connect. More than that... That human had magic on them. In fact, he were so powerfully magical, one could have mistaken his for a boss monster, if magic was the only thing taken in consideration. He was also charming and easy to talk to.
The human was named Chara and instead of sticking him into the slave program, they had a better plan. They would make Chara their own son. Asriel's brother. He was obviously the most ecstatic about that.
Chara
Before coming to the castle, Chara lived with his mother inside the forest. She hated monsters. Her monster owner at the time used to hurt her. But he would do that in such subtle ways that there was no way to detect it in the monthly checkup. The monster doctor in charge of her area, also didn't seem very keen on humans' wellbeing.
She fell in love with another slave and they kept a forbidden relationship that ultimately resulted on her pregnancy. They decided to run away from the monsters, hiding on the forest. Her lover was killed during the chase and she managed to stay alive, but had to live on her own. Including her labor.
She made it sure for Chara that monsters were bad and he was supposed to fear them. Hate them.
Hating monsters he did. Despite having never seen one before. When his mother died - mostly out of starvation - he understood he could no longer stay on the forest only.
He advanced towards the city. Especially at the palace's garden. No one really guarded there because there was no threats.
There, he met Asriel. Asriel was too nice. He couldn't be out like this. What if the monsters got him? He barely could believe when he told him that he was a monster himself. No way. Monsters were bad.
That was their only disagreement.
Eventually, he was adopted by the royals. They were so nice. So kind. He came to love them, despite the voice of his dead mother chastising him for befriending the enemy.
He could feel the dirty looks, though. From monsters and humans alike. Who he thought he was? How come a lowly human like him, (uneducated at that!), become part of the very royal family?
Was he bad?
No. Asgore said he wasn't. Toriel reassured he wasn't. Asriel believed he wasn't.
But he definitely knew. There were bad monsters out there and he wanted to catch them.

Here's the second part of the Papyrus's thing. Hope you are enjoying it!
First part here
From that point, Papyrus completely stopped listening. He wasn't sure of what to think. Sure, he was a little bit relieved to know that they would have left the city, but... Going back to the mountain? It has been a year since they got on the surface. He wasn't sure if he was able to go back in the underground... And the idea of losing his best friend almost killed him. No, Frisk knows what he does, so they'll choose what is best, he thought. But still, the idea of losing them made his soul a little heavier. He tried to focus back on the discussion, but it was kind of hard. Now on the table there was a map of the city. They were talking about the northern area of the park, near the entrance of the city. The president tried to give them indications for the best place to radune everyone. Frisk was now sitting silent, just looking at them. Toriel was organizing the thing based also on where the most part of the monsters live now. Asgore commented here and there, but never added important things. Sans was looking at him. The moment Papyrus noticed it, he also noticed there wasn't the usual big smile on his own face. He put on a little smile, not too big because of the situation. Sans sighed sadly, then went back on discussing Toriel and the president. He looked at the president's assistant. She appeared impassible as always, but he could feel the sadness in her eyes while she wrote down her notes. Maybe she had some monster friends that she will never be able to see again. She looked back at the discussing trio. After a while, a hand took his shoulder. Frisk was looking at him. "Papyrus, aren't you worried about all this? Can't you help me?" The tall skeleton shook his head. "I... I'm sorry Frisk, but I think I can't help here. I would love to help you convince them to stay on the surface, but... I don't think they would care much about my opinion. They said it was all already decided, and you know how hard it can be to convince Miss Toriel and Sans to change their mind when they decide something". Frisk looked in the deep of his friend's eye sockets, then got up. "That's it. I'm out of here. My opinion is not necessary anymore" he said as he got out of the room. Papyrus immediately got up from his chair and he was about to tell him "Wait! Please, we still need you! Don't go!" But... He just didn't. He looked at his friend getting out of the room and closing the door without looking back. The tall skeleton turned his head to look at the others. Everyone was now looking both at the door or at him. Toriel seemed a halfway between the worried and the serious. That expression that says: "I'm sorry, but this is for the best". Asgore and the president had a little bit that expression too, but more in an uninterested way. The assistant was looking at him, for the first time clearly worried. It was almost strange to see her face showing emotions. And Sans... He was looking straight into his eyesokets in that way that doesn't make you understand anything if what is thinking. Though, he seemed a little bit worried too now. To keep everyone still, Papyrus sat back and said: "well, he is kind of right. We ignored their opinion. But right now we have to focus on what's important, right? Please Miss Toriel, go ahead with what you were saying". Toriel stood there for a second, then nodded. "You're right. Now, I think it will be better if-"
Suddenly, Sans placed a hand on his brother's shoulder and teleported both of them away. They found themselves in the living room of their house. Sans stood in front of his brother with his face empty and asked: "what. happened". Papyrus wasn't understanding. He was also a little upset becouse he didn't asked him permission to teleport him around, and they were in the middle of an important reunion."Well, I should probably be the one making this question, brother. Why did you bring me away? What's the problem?". Sans' eyelights came back, followed by an expression that showed his brother anger, anxiety and a hint of sadness. "Are you serious?!" Sans started. " 'I don't think they would care much about my opinion'? 'we have to focus on what's important'? What happened to you? Are you even the same person I knew?! The Papyrus I know would have tried to stop them, to make EVERYONE get along! He would have tried to say his opinion. I never noticed anything because at home you behave almost normally, like- i thought you were just tired or something- but now I ask myself if I was seeing my brother or just a mask to not make me worry!". They stood in silence for a moment. Papyrus wasn't sure of what to say. He would have probably tried to explain his brother that he was okay, but he knew it wasn't true. He never noticed this change of behavior, but now he was almost scared becouse of it. Was this a consequence of living on the surface? Or was it because of the people that lived there, so corrupted he had to adapt in order to survive? Since he got to the surface, he felt this bad feeling, deep in his soul. Now he was understanding what was it. He just wanted to go home. His real home. It wasn't possible for the monsters to live with the humans. A little tear fell from his eyesoket. The moment he felt it, he noticed he really needed to cry. He fell on his knees and covered his face with the hands. He felt Sans hugging him, telling him that everything was going to be alright. "If my big bro is still here, then I'm sure he will do it no matter what" Sans said. That moment Papyrus strongly hoped his brother was, for once, right.
The next day they prepared themselves to move, taking again all of their stuff, then they all went to to the park. That morning was really quiet, and there was no one around except for the monsters. There wasn't any sign of Firsk. Papyrus helped many people with their things, and after a while he started feeling almost excited to go home. In the afternoon, the whole monsterkind was reunited in the same place. They were around the 2.000 against the 10.000.000.000 humans in the whole earth. When they got out of the city, the only humans there were the president, his assistant and a few human families that wanted to say goodbye to their friends. Undyne punched him on the shoulder. "Hey bud. How are you doing?". Papyrus smiled, even if not in a too convincing way. "I'm good. Almost happy to go home. What about you? When we were trapped you always said you wanted to live on the surface, but now we're going back in the Underground...". The fish lady grinned widely and answered: "okay, first thing first: no one ever said we're gonna stay in the Underground. We have the whole mountain, even the upper areas. Second, humanity sucks. I'm not going to regret anything". Oh. Papyrus didn't thought of it. Well, it was better than he imagined. "Now, Paps. Would you like to have a match after this? Just like good old times?" Undyne asked. Papyrus didn't thought about it for a second. "Well-sure! I would love to".
Ohhh boi. It took way more time than I expected. Papyrus is my favourite boi, and not doing something for him would have been a little of an insult, but MY BOI. I never did anything so long!

the instructions were for Wally, not the whrp/qa/You. which is especially interesting, because I think we all assumed they were instructions from Wally - after all, he's the one telling the whrp that they have work to do, he's sending envelopes (assumedly), he's sort of the driving force behind the whole in-universe project. he calls the shots, in a way. he's the one with the phone.
so who the hell is giving Wally instructions?
is it related to the distorted "extra" voice under Wally's in some of his hidden record audios? is it related to Sally's "monster"? is there someone else in Home?
just... there's a whole 'nother layer underneath Wally that i think is really scary. there's something else there, i feel. i Fear. i wonder if Wally is aware of it, or if he isn't quite as aware as we all - including him - like to think. how aware can a puppet be if they can't see their own strings (so to speak)? it's one thing to know what you are, and another entirely to understand what that entails.
#is there a puppetmaster? something or someone lurking underneath the surface?#i know there's not like... a Big Bad if i remember correctly#but im really suspicious that there is something Extra fucking with wally#like i really hope wally is acting of his own accord#but then again - what if its a mix of him acting on his own AND something else pushing him forward#is there something trying to get Out of home?#i think now of the 'im going to get it out' sentence from the about us page#i feel like wally is trying to stay In. i feel like he just wants to revive the show but he wants to Stay#so what the hell is trying get Out. to Leave#that sentence could just be talking about the show / memories of it#but now. im just. im thinking#homebogging#and i cant remember exactly but something about wally closing the guestbook bc it wasnt 'fun' anymore for some reason#i doubt the extra secret Something is home themself#because home seems to be Suffering to an extent from wally's attempts to connect with the 'outside' world#SO WHAT IS IT? HUH#i swear to fuck its connected to sally's so-called monster. the distortion. the spiral/eye pit. something looking through wally#which - no too many thoughts about that to say in tags#AND WHY IS WALLY DOING WHAT WHATEVER IT IS SAYS#is it automatic? like a 'oh. instructions. ill follow them' or does he Know who's talking to him or or or#i feel like an entire layer of the story was just revealed to us in one small simple marvelous update#who the hell is telling wally darling what to do...

Fathers' Heart
"An accident? How any of this could have been an accident?" - Toriel's voice was exasperated, disappointed, disoriented. It was as if someone told her a very sick joke and she was shuddering over the cruel laugh of the prankster.
"Mom... You have to understand... There is something going on. Something the crown isn't aware. They're doing illegal things to humans and no one is acting to bring justice!" - Chara started to explain, although he felt that words wouldn't suffice to explain the atrocities he saw. By monsters. Monsters who were made of hecking compassion and love! It was outraging.
Asriel was just silent, feeling disappointed himself, but at the same time aware that there would be no other way. It was *kill or be killed* at that point. Still hurt his soul, nonetheless. But also not. The tears of joy he saw on the face of that tiny human child, happy for eating their first proper meal in a long time... Was that wrong?
Asgore too was silent. He felt like he was in a really bad dream and he couldn't wake up no matter how much he pinched himself. And, stars, he tried, believe it. If only there was a way to turn back into past... If only there was a way to stop everyone from seeing his sons statuses... His mind, in depths of despair, brought him a solution. An absurd. Desperate solution.
"I need to talk with Doctor Gaster." - He didn't explain more than that. He only sent word to request his old friend's presence.
They sat on his Garden's beautiful metallic furniture. Drinking Gaster's favorite flavor of tea, butterfly pea with some drops of lime and a dash of honey. The color was a vivid purple.
"Your Majesty... You sent for me so urgently. How can I be of assistance?"
Asgore really didn't even know where to start, but he forced himself through it.
"That project you told me you were working on. To bend the coding of reality. How is it going?" - He drank a sip of his tea, trying to remain as casual as possible.
"Very promising. I successfully rewrote small pieces of our reality code. I've created a food which I named 'crabapple'. It has the softness of a cooked meat of a lobster, but will last safely as much as an apple would. And it can also be grown on dwarf trees." - The doctor too sipped tea and smiled pleasantly. - "It has been quite a while since we had tea like this. I missed it."
"Oh yes. So did I, my dearest friend." - He served himself from some biscuits, brought along with the tea. Maybe the bitter taste on his mouth could be swayed with that. - "Have you tested in living beings yet?"
"I... Have not. I need the direct permission of the Crown to do that, because of the risks involved. But my research is far enough for this."
"If I gave you the permission... Would you do me a favor and keep absolute silence about said favor?"
"My King... What goes in your mind?"
"My children's LV rose. Chara is around 5 and Asriel is near 2."
Wingdin's eyelights shrunk into small pinpricks.
"Yes. It is exactly what you think. And I know it is selfish of me to try and bend reality to my liking, but... I know my sons are just and they would not act violent for the sake of violence."
Gaster could not really argue with that. The Princes always were way more well behaved than his own sons.
"You want me to change their data." - He finally said as a matter of fact. - "This could go wrong. It is a way bigger change than hair and eye color. It's a shifting in their own character. If I fail, we can render your sons eternally unstable."
"Wingdin... If you could have done something, anything to prevent Verdana from being locked up on the Maze Tower... Would you not? If it was Sans and Papyrus in the same situation... Would you not try your everything to turn it around? I cannot bear the idea of not seeing my boys alive and healthy. Please... This is from a father to another."
"I... " - Wingdin took a deep breath. - "Let me see if I have enough control of my experiment to attempt something so grand. If I see any signs of instability, I will abort the attempt."
"An attempt is all I ask, my friend."

POV: You just discovered that your favorite character is a great base for very deep scenarios
surface, human's city
That day was a very lightful day. The sun illuminated the palaces that were so high they could touch the clouds. On the road only a few cars, and the people around, humans and monsters, chatted together or just walked around. Not too noisy, but not too silent. Papyrus didn't like that whole atmosphere. Even if it seemed almost relaxing, he felt the hypocrisy behind that peacefulness. Today there was an important reunion between the humans' king, a tall man called George but that wants to be called 'the president', his assistant, a sweet lady that doesn't have a name other than 'assistant', the monsters' king, Asgore, and the monsters' ambassador, mediator between the two kings, also well known as Frisk. Papyrus, as the monsters mascotte, had to assist Frisk, starting with bringing them to the reunion in a huge palace in the middle of the city. Frisk right now was on his shoulders, telling him where to go. It wasn't the first time for Paps, but the city was so big he once lost his head trying to find a way to the market. Literally. While walking around looking for the right palace, some humans looked at them, some with curiosity and some with hatred. After leaving the underground, Papyrus discovered that not every human was like Frisk. Most of them were quite the opposite. Maybe some of them treated the monsters with kindness, but for every kind human there were other three humans looking at them like they would look at a bag of dirty clothes. He always said nothing and smiled, but in the deep of his soul he didn't like them at all. How many times did he have to help some young monsters because a group of humans threw them rocks or punched them? How many times did he have to help Miss Toriel send the children home safely, because some adult humans tried to bring them away? How many times did he have to keep Undyne still, to avoid a fight started by a bad comment from a human? And the worst thing was that they sometimes did this not only with monsters, but also with other humans! This didn't make any sense! Not that being bad with monsters had any logic, but at least he could have said that it was because of the 'fear of the different', something that Frisk explained to him. At the end, they reached the right palace. It had a big sign on the front with the words 'city hall' written on it. They got in and immediately got blinded by photographers with their cameras, asking him and Frisk about the reunion. "What is going to happen now?" "Are the monsters leaving the city?" "What is going to happen?". Usual questions. The first time Papyrus remembered he got so excited he tried to answer every single question, but after a while he learned to gently tell them to get out of the way. They were here just to know what they wanted to know, and then making it bigger to spread it around the city. So a 'there will be built a school to teach the children how to use magic' became a 'MONSTERS START CREATING AN ARMY OF MAGICIANS USING THE CHILDREN'. He moved them away smiling and telling them to wait for the end of the reunion, and got into the reunion room.
Asgore was already there, such as the president and his assistant. Surprisingly there was also Miss Toriel. She always said she hated all those political things. He put Frisk down and said: "Good afternoon mister president, King Asgore. I am deeply sorry for being late, but today there were more people around the streets than usual. Good afternoon miss Toriel. I wasn't expecting your presence here. What's the subject of today's reunion?". Also this was another thing he learned with the time. Being quiet is necessary in the reunions. As he sat at his usual place, between the president's assistant and Frisk, he noticed a very worried look on everyone's face. Miss Toriel started the discussion. "Good afternoon Papyrus. Today we will talk about our transfer". Our transfer? What does this mean? No one ever talked about moving. Toriel kept speaking. Looking at her very carefully, he noticed she recently cried. "I asked for this reunion. After recent... events, I noticed this city is not safe enough for us monsters. I decided it will be better if we go back to Mount Ebott". Frisk suddenly got up from their chair and exclaimed: "What?! After everything we did to make everyone live in peace, we have to... to go back? What happened to make you take such an extreme decision?". Toriel's face got darker, and a feeling in Papyrus's soul told him this wasn't going to end well. She remained silent. Another voice from behind Papyrus talked for her. "Better not knowing kiddo. What happened is a little bit bad. Not the best thing to have a nightmare about". He turned around to see Sans standing there. "Brother? What are you doing here?" The older brother asked, genuinely surprised. Sans always said he was too lazy for those reunions, so seeing him doing something that he said he would never do was just as incredible as the day he picked up his sock. Asgore asked everyone to calm down, even if no one was apparently upset except for Miss Toriel. "I'm sure that we can clear everything out. Sans, sit down with us. I'm sure you have a very good reason to be here too" the king said. Sans answered with a not-so quiet tone. "Sure i do. Now, we have to clarify where to meet with everyone to make sure we all are together when we go back there". Sans didn't sat down. He just stood between his brother and Frisk, still standing with his hands on the table and a very worried expression. The president spoke. "Thank you Asgore. Ambassador, this decision was taken a few days before this reunion. This is just for organizing everything and making it official. So, about the gathering plac-" "NO!" Frisk suddenly exclaimed. "You can't make them go back to the mount! We can build a new village for them if what you want is having them out of the city! But you can't-" "kid. Lemme explain, k?" Sans interrupted them. "Our people is not safe here. Even if we tried to get along with the humans of the city, they don't accept us. It's not your fault, or anyone's fault in this room. The whole surface either is covered in human cities or is inhabitable. Right now, the only place where we can stay without getting killed apparently is the mount. You can decide by yourself if you want to come with us, or if you want to stay here. We'll do our best to understand any decision you'll take".
