HII i was the anon asking for a matchup hehe (both bots and cons, literally anyone) im just so interested and excited abt the matchup since its my first time doing one :DDD

Im quite short, around (5'6), i have a darker shade of green eyes (w long lashes) and long black hair with pink highlights that end around my mid back, (it's quite curly too); im very pale, and i mean "the first time they see me they tell me im a vampire" kind of pale, i have plump lips that are pink, kinda like a blushy pink! I have an ear piercing, and some snakebites, tho it's not pierced, its those ones where you can hook them on, ive also got a thing for silver rings (one is vine like and the other is a silver snake that goes up halfway on my pointer finger [i love snakes]; on my right hand tho is a single gold ring)

On how i dress, i usually do not give any fucks- literally, i just throw anything on (my usual fit is a black shirt, and some soft pants)

I'm an INTP (for some reference since i really suck at describing things) Me as i describe myself, am a very quiet person, quiet as in "my friends forgot i was in the backseat" kind of quiet, im usually a homebody, literally, another reason why i get called a vampire is that i hate sunlight, alot, i dont like going out as much as my friends do, since i hate loud and public places tho i would really be down to hangout with them whenever. I always keep to myself and refrain from ever speaking out, always observing, and just listening; but when i get closer to someone and get to know them more i usually get loud and very talkative. Even tho im always patient doesn't mean i wouldn't punch someone if they mess w me or my friends, as i could really have a high temper; on a side note, im very patient! Really im not even kidding i literally put up with someone's shit for 3 years and still going.

Hobbies or things i generally like/ like to do is art!! Mostly digital art, you'll always see me with my tablet everywhere i go, and i rarely share them as i have absolutely zero confidence, i also love to read! (Fav being tolkien books, both LoTR and TH) i also write my own stories and could be so into world building, its taking me 3 years to actually build my world properly. I love music like its not even funny; aside from seeing me w my tablet, i guarantee you'll always see me wearing earphones and jamming, im a sucker for roadtrips while i gaze outside just daydreaming and forgetting about reality (im a hardcore daydreamer). I really dont have a certain music taste since i just play whatever sounds good!!

Just in case you still check here, I was wondering, the other day I was thinking about your art and how beautifully and canon (to me at least haha) you managed poppy and branch, especially poppy (like seriously I feel you get her as a character so much) as she's usually never despicted as amazing as you did at least for me, your art and content is legit sooooo GOOD,:) Anyway, my question actually was if you thought TWT and TBT carried on with the way you see these 2 as characters/their dynamic? I remember especially with TWT people thought they were a bit softer and stuff lol Also really curious if you liked the movies in general besides this, is the first one still your favorite? It's very sweet you think so highly of my depiction of Poppy and Branch's relationship from so many years ago... While I'm quite sentimental about it, and I felt strongly when I made that art / those posts, it HAS been long enough that I feel as though I've developed so much as a person. I mourn not being more thoughtful...! Subsequently I've been kind of hesitant to use this blog too seriously, I'm posting on it in a capricious manner for now, so as to not think too hard about my old art and posts that embarrass me,,, >>;

With that self-consciousness out of the way... Wanna start by saying: I love World Tour and Band Together-!! I remember being agog in 2017 that we mysteriously had a sequel already confirmed with an exact date and everything. Really... I was perfectly in suspense for TWT and it lived up to it's hype, I was so excited until the day of release and it lived up to all expectations, expanded on the world so hugely aououuu!!! Amusingly enough I was more hesitant about TBT, just that wariness that... it's hard to ask for a series to make 2 good sequels. Also the trailer gave me the impression that it would be more of a "roadtrip with your annoying blowhard older brother"... worrying that JD was lying or creating a contrivance to get Brozone back or something along those lines. The movie itself though was great, again expanded on the world and showed me wonderful colors and textures and environments, yes thank you trolls... Beyond that I actually like the themes of both movies and agree with how they handle it. (Much like the 1st movie...!) So... really, a glowing review from me.

Though to get into Poppy and Branch's relationship progressing in each movie... It is an interesting journey really, I ah, used to tell myself I never wanted Poppy and Branch to be "more than" friends... Wanting to emphasize the beauty in friendship alone being intimate and capable of complexity. But well, times have changed, and, I'm normal-style married now, to the girl I would RP poppy and branch kissing with for 8 hrs back in 2017. So. I'll be real and say, I'm really basic now, and I like the trajectory of canon. The boyfriend-girlfriend-ification of pranch... the marriage tease... I stan.

Hmm... It's amusing if fans thought the dynamic was 'softened' in TWT, it's not exactly how I would describe it? I feel as though things have definitely been tempered from the first movie, because they've gotten to know each other, and the major hurdle of Branch's singing trauma was revealed. Part of why Branch was so prickly and resistant to Poppy was, being incompatible with the village's lifestyle, way of thinking, stuck being endlessly paranoid and set off... Once you remove that conflict, you can't really get their bickering to be on the same 'level' as in movie one... But they're still playful and teasing, for sure? You'll always have Branch's dry humor and Poppy's incessance, her exuberance. One of my favorite things is when she gets all, hehe I know branch like me ❤ (The poppy cutting the tether to the hot air balloon....)

Anyways, if anything I, find it extremely funny how unchill Branch is in TWT. He's all. Incel. .. .. . ? WHICH... is really funny for a troll to feel kfjhshdg... At the very least, pop troll village is so, mmm everyone love and hug each other, that — the fact that Branch can feel, friendzoned, is just so funny to me... He is struggling with wanting their relationship to be 'more'. Subsequently he spends a lot of the movie jealous and sad when she isn't listening to him...

(this is a brief aside that, I'm kinda obsessed with the opening number of TWT being a cover of Girl's Just Want To Have Fun. song about that fun-lovin' fun-havin' girl that you can't tie down really... What's up with that? The humor reaches full circle when you have Branch's verse having originally been this:

Some boys take a beautiful girl And hide her away from the rest of the world [...]

... while in his scary underground bunker with a million locks and industrial steel doors. OK...)

I mean, I always got the impression that Branch was uniquely infatuated with Poppy, despite all his, foosiness, as seen by his hoarding the invitations + his poetry that comes out while counseling Bridget... Which paints this picture of him being uncontrollably into Poppy but at odds with his own trigger, can't not act shitty. But mnghh [stares longingly at...] <- this is so funny... Anyways TWT basically confirms to me, that Branch has been pining for Poppy for a long time, since Branch is restless about their rship advancing. He's only just become her best friend but, wants more-!

Somehow this is the elegant segue for TBT to be about... Poppy finding out Branch was in a boyband she's always been obsessed with... So not only is she learning more about Branch, she's like. Obliquely thirsty about, over, him, like screaming and pulling her hair and shaking around dancing on her feets. I SUPPOSE it balances things, if you create a reality where now Poppy is infatuated with Branch, and has been for years... .. ... It makes Branch's incel phase even funnier... (Though, now he's thinking about marriage-! ! When will you be satisfied branchie...)

My wife (@fearbunker) — who, for lore purposes, is the person I was frequently collabing/talking to on this blog, making posts and AUs together. My best friend back then... — she's joked that World Tour is about Branch being obsessed with Poppy, while Band Together is about Poppy being obsessed with Branch. This is the simplest way to put it.

At this point Poppy and Branch feel like a slow burn that's taken many many years to culminate... Allured by one another, but kept apart by circumstance... eh, it's too much for me actually, I can't handle this romance...

Personally I don't feel much character integrity lost per movie, I am pleased for what is introduced and explored... I think Poppy and Branch deal with a reasonable amount of interpersonal conflict, with Branch struggling to be open and honest (naturally a defensive, easily defeatist sort...) while Poppy's enthusiasm and tendency to rush into things causes issues. I like it though... we never really berate Poppy for being hopeful, optimistic, which I like best. She's capable of being perceptive in her own way, ahh I mean I love the little moments in TBT where she's really... taking Branch's hands and looking into his eyes, offering counseling. Such a good girlfriend.. and you feel like we've come a long way to get here.

As for where I rank the first movie... Deep down it feels impossible to pick an absolute favorite, because they all have their strengths. 9.9 My wife just described it as 'painfully sincere' and I have to agree. There's a quality in the first movie the sequels lack, and perhaps they can't really be expected to recapture; there's more quiet lulls, really chewing the scenery with these two. Since it's about them bonding, you get a lot of time where it's just the two of them, and I love that... There's many exchanges I like, find profound still. I'll always die over the True Colors scene......!! ;; >< ////

So I feel the same as you, there's always a special place in my heart for the first movie...

just a lil “if ash lived” headcanon that i need to unload somewhere bc i've been holding it in for a long time

- set within the manga ‘verse

- takes place when ash and eiji are in their early 30s... so around the mid 1990s?

- i don’t get the weird animanga trope where older = longer hair, so they’re gonna look the same... maybe with slightly shorter hair bc they get regular haircuts now 

- (note: i've always interpreted long-haired eiji as symbolic of the fact that he couldn't move on from ash’s death)

- ash and eiji will continue living in the states, idk if still in NYC or somewhere else. they’ll move around a lot though.

- ash will mostly remain underground as he had to fake his death after lao’s stab, but he does it in a "hiding in plain sight" kind of way. only a handful of people know he’s still alive.  

- ash spends most of his time on the computer, mostly coding, hacking, being a nerd, among other fun stuff.

- he also takes on “jobs” anonymously, and occasionally from max (who’s still into investigative journalism) when he needs info that can only be obtained through Dubious Means.

- i also like to think that ash's a bit of a hacker robin hood lol. but he isn’t doing it purely out of the goodness of his heart, as part of it is a subconscious need to atone for his “sins” and cleanse the gnawing and persistent feeling of shame that gets amplified when he’s around eiji.

- also whatever he’s up to these days would ofc still be Highly Dangerous and Illegal, but it keeps him busy and would sate the part of him that’s still hungry for adrenaline without him having to engage in stuff like active bloodshed or substance abuse. basically that’s how i imagine he’d try to cope with life the only way he knows.

- eiji continues to do photography and other part time gigs bc he does not like the idea of mooching off ash forever, and he slowly makes a name for himself.

- ash and eiji live together but they are NOT together in a romantic sense... not yet >:)

- therefore eiji will probably date other people in the meantime, which gets a little troublesome bc it's not like he can bring them home to where his secret Very Important Friend is secretly hiding.

- ash will maybe have one-night stands every now and then. or not. idk. this isn’t a very important detail.

- anyway there will be lots of clueless but mutual pining :)

- ash especially, is of the opinion that they should start living separately bc someone will eventually track him down, maybe someone who has a past or present grudge on him. combined with his current activities, it’s only a matter of time before eiji would unwittingly get dragged into his problems again.

- eiji is v adamantly against that plan bc he's sorta developed a debilitating sense of paranoia that ash might just get killed somewhere while he’s not looking. not that ash isn’t paranoid either, but his insecurities often tip the scale over to “eiji is safer away from me” than “with me”.

- basically they’re doing their whole “stay. no, leave. no, stay” dance all over again, but like, dragged out over MANY YEARS.

- you thought eiji’s letter would’ve cleared up any crossed wires? 

- HELL NO

- like yea, there was probably a beautiful honeymoon period of about a year or two after they reunited, before their respective trauma and issues started creeping in and fucking things up again.

- esp on ash’s end, i think he’d engage in a lot of self-sabotage. and eiji is only human, he has his own limits and baggage too.

- there will be a government conspiracy plotline but on a smaller scale compared to canon that i am unfortunately not knowledgeable enough to worldbuild on, but it will probably have something to do with cybercrime/cyberterrorism/stuff like that bc it needs to tie in with ash's hacking shenanigans.

- i've heard that sing ends up becoming some sorta political big shot in yasha? idk, i haven't read it myself, but since china’s rising status was mentioned in GoL i imagine the plot should relate to that somehow.

- therefore sing would also get to be in this story! 

- i guess this means yut-lung would come into the picture at some point as well, and it would be a good opportunity for a redemption arc but i haven’t given it much of a thought bc i’m indifferent to his character orz SORRY.

- look i can’t do plot, but i am basically envisioning a political thriller with a side of slow burn romance (wait, you mean like a rehash of canon?)

- i’m thinking max is the one who kicks off the story by bringing something fishy to ash, and they just end up uncovering more and more and MORE stuff as they keep going.

- so for like 80% of the story, ash and eiji will be separated bc ash will be busy spying or infiltrating something... and being at the center of Plot Things, while max and eiji will be more on the outside dealing with the journalist side of things. i’m fond of max-ash interactions but i’m also REALLY CURIOUS about max-eiji’s dynamic :D

- meanwhile sing will be like, half in and half out i imagine. he's versatile like that lol

- ...i did NOT mean that in a dirty way

- anyway, this will provide ash and eiji ample space to work out their issues separately, as i think living in close quarters for so many years has actually been aggravating them. ofc those issues don’t get 100% resolved by the end, but some time apart from each other to cool off and spend with other people should provide a bit of perspective.

- i want ash to make some NEW FRIENDS (!!!) that are on the same wavelength as him bc there’s only so much that he can tell eiji and i’m sure he gets rather lonely, so there will be OCs that he will meet in the middle of Plot Things.

- ash will get trapped at some point. preferably with sing so they can have a much needed heart-to-heart talk. they’ll have a lot to hash out, ranging from the events in BF, shorter’s and lao’s death, all the way to ash’s love life. 

- btw i like the idea of eiji and sing being close drinking buddies who confide in one another but ash is kinda, justalittle, not very happy about that LOL 

- i mean, it's not like eiji can confide in ash when ash is the topic at hand, ya get me? as for sing, he’s similar to ash in the sense that they live dangerous lives, so i imagine he just finds it nice to be able to hang out with someone mundane like eiji every now and then.

- not to say that ash and sing aren’t talking to each other at all, but i think they’d have a bit of a rift between them. sing probably does feel some resentment, both at ash for killing lao AND at himself bc he knows deep down that given a choice, he would’ve saved ash over his own brother. ash can sense that tortured vibe, so eiji’s like their middle man. AND THAT’S WHY THEY NEED A HEART-TO-HEART TALK

- (SIDE NOTE: i want akira to have a role in this too. i actually have a separate headcanon that happens prior to this story... kinda like an alternate GoL? 

akira goes to the states to visit eiji, but ash is also there, yeah? akira and ash start out sorta prickly with each other bc ash is all weird and standoffish and always cooped up in his room. she probably mistook him as a jobless model mooching off eiji at first since 1) eiji and ibe have never spoken about him back in japan (cuz he’s supposed to be dead), 2) why would eiji be living with some random hot guy? unless they met during one of his photography gigs? right??? 

and then she ends up witnessing them in the middle of a tiff, which makes her not like ash even more bc HOW DARE HE YELL AT POOR OKUMURA-SAN??? UNGRATEFUL JERK!!!

but over the course of her visit, she snoops around learns a bit about their history and gathers hints as to why their r’ship is kinda strained. also ash and akira somehow end up bonding (reluctantly) over their emotional insecurities and part on a friendly rivalry to win over eiji’s affections (which eiji is completely oblivious to. also akira may have been 100% serious but ash was just jokingly playing along with her (OR WAS HE???)). anyway long story short, ash teaches akira some cool tech/IT stuff along the way so that leads to her gaining an interest in the field. 

she won’t be able to do much in this story, but a minor role would be cool :)

- (SIDE NOTE #2: i ALSO want cain to feature in this, but bc canon provided very little bg info on him it’s hard for me to figure out where he’d fit. but i suppose that’s precisely why it would be great to include him, since i can just make up my own backstory! lol. for now, i think he should be connected to one of the new OCs to make him more central to the plot. or heck, he can be involved himself! ...yeah, i’m just salty about how cain was treated more like a convenient plot device compared to the other major side characters. we barely know anything about him even though he was one of ash’s most trusted allies. #caindeservedbetter2k20)

- anyway, back to the main story. ash (and his new "friends") barely escape where they’re held hostage. ash would be rusty with combat now as he’s spent the past few years doing only stealth work and being rather sedentary. 

- so there’ll be lotsa old man!ash jokes like them poking fun at him whenever he complains about his back hehe

- when they finally emerge outside they find themselves in the middle of nowhere! they then hijack a passing pickup truck and do a roadtrip back to civilisation. ROAD TRIP FTW

- at this point, quite some time has already passed and ash even has a fuzzy beard and mane and all. he’s standing at the back of the truck with a small smile on his face and the wind blowing in his hair, thinking GONNA GO BACK AND SEE EIJI, MISS HIM LOADS, HELL YEA 

- (bonus: this song and this scene is the catalyst for this entire headcanon btw)

(drew this about a year ago. i was trying to imitate the manga’s art style... and the ash i had in my mind was a little different. i’m too lazy to redraw, but he’s fuzzier now okay! MORE FUZZ! like an actual freakin LION!)

- meanwhile, eiji and max will get into some deep shit around this point? 

- eiji in the pic above was me imagining that the Bad Guys had tossed some damning evidence (eg. severed body part?) on the ground like “ash’s dead/ash’s in a lot of danger now so hand over all the info u have”

- and eiji and max are like. SHOOKETH

- this would be the 3rd time ash has “died” after all, and as they say... 3rd time's the charm...

- eiji almost gives in, but then max spits in their face like fuck no and then... yeah. they get beat up and taken away or something lol

- EDIT: hmm... what if the Bad Guy is someone IN the government, and he uses his power to get eiji and max arrested for aiding and abetting a wanted fugitive (ash). and then ash has to rescue them... JAILBREAK STYLE

- also it might be cool to introduce ash's mom somewhere in this story... maybe SHE'S the villain! mwahaha *drama intensifies*

- anyways they will get saved by ash and gang bc that’s just the way things go, BUT! only on the condition they already made it out at least 80% of the way bc GODDAMN IT👏LET👏EIJI👏BE👏BADASS👏FOR👏ONCE👏 

- (that is, after he overcomes the initial shock of ash possibly being dead again... again...... again............)

- there will ofc be moments of “oh my god, you’re okay” "i thought i lost you...!"

- something like this, because one can never have enough cheesy reunion scenes

- this will eventually lead to REVELATIONS (of the romantic kind, yes) 

- buuuut they will never say "i love you" directly to each other bc ash is too emotionally constipated and eiji is too japanese. it's okay, they will communicate it through heated stares 👀

- i would love for there to be a scene where they have to be separated again for Plot Reasons and ash sorta hesitantly goes all "...will you wait for me?" as a direct parallel to canon!eiji's "i'll be waiting" and it’s like,

- FINALLY! 

- FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! ash has finally allowed himself to ask for this, to let himself want it! 

- and eiji would be like OF COURSE I WILL YOU BIG DUMMY, ALWAYS AND FOREVER

- but i think it'd be hilarious if eiji pops up while ash's in the middle of the final showdown and ash's like WTF I TOLD YOU TO WAIT FOR ME and eiji's like I WAS WORRIED OKAY YOU WERE TAKING SO LONG

- idk how this is supposed to end...

- oh wait! since the plot is government-related, maybe Someone will be able to pull strings to wipe out ash’s criminal record (past and present) and give him a brand new 100% legal identity, as thanks for his efforts? or maybe ash (or sing) just does it himself somewhere along the way LOL. anyway, he’ll be able to start over with a fresh clean slate and finally work on recovery FOR REAL NOW. yes this is a happy ending AND it didn’t require him to go to japan /flips off canon

it’s like participating in a nervewracking competition and you’re so tense but you’ll suddenly hear loud cheers for you from the sideline. when you look up, you see that one person who never fails to make you smile. seeing their face makes you determined to win and make them proud, to pay them back for their limitless kindness and support.

[younghoon: @chaoticdeobi​] bea is such a softie, i love her so much :( i was debating between younghoon and hak but i went with him instead. i have to admit, reading her writings had me intimidated because damn the talent! i’m glad i reached out because i’ve found someone who i’ll never regret meeting! that intimidation reminds me of younghoon because he comes off as cold at first. however, as i continued talking to her, i laugh because i wonder why i felt intimidated in the first place because she’s just the softest bean underneath! (ok but they’re both literally the 🥺 emoji)

it’s like watching the snow fall gracefully with the person you cherish most, holding steaming mugs of hot chocolate as you allow your head to fall on their shoulder. although it’s silent, it’s never uncomfortable because you’re so close with the other person that you can practically tell what the other is thinking from their mere breaths.

[hyunjae: @heartyyjeno​] we first met through the tbz collab discord server and i was shocked because of how supportive she was? as everybody spilled in their ideas, she’d just keep on bringing in compliments and i love her for that. hyunjae and alesha both have a playful side as well as a sweet side and i can see them both connecting so well.

it’s like a hug when you most need it, the warmth of arms snaking around your waist as you let your tears go. gentle hands come up to brush away your tears and you can’t help but let out a shaky laugh when they pull a silly face to comfort you. their embrace is so comforting, it lulls you to sleep. if you were to describe this hug in one word, it’d be home. 

[juyeon: @juyeonzz​] i’m sorry qiu but i was intimidated by you too...you seemed so far up and out of my league that i didn’t dare to interact with you but i’m so so so glad i did! qiu and juyeon....both seem so intimidating? maybe it’s because resting face hehe but underneath!! they’re both the sweetest dorks! i can’t count how many times i’ve bickered with her over who loves who (i do and i take no arguments) the most and i love how we get so chaotic together.

it’s like stargazing with someone and it’s supposed to be romantic but you can’t help but burst out into giggles because it’s suddenly turned into a huge tickle fight. even though you playfully scold the other person for ruining such a lovely moment, you can’t help but think the opposite, your heart full and bursting with love as you turn your gaze back to the sky, fingers intertwining with theirs.

[kevin: @hyungseobf]: one of my oldest moots! i haven’t talked to them in a while and honestly we’re not super close but i still love them :( i ship them with kevin because they’re both so friendly and easy to talk to! also they’re chaotic and they’d absolutely vibe together. when they took a super long hiatus, i was so sad and i really really missed them. 

it’s like going through an old box of your childhood memories, feeling oddly happy as you sift through scrapbooks and photos but your hand stills when your gaze falls onto the old plushie that used to be your favourite. picking it out, you shake off the dust, as you stare fondly at its worn, dirty yet adorable face. 

[chanhee: @vernonvsblog] another one of my newest moots! she’s so kind and understanding and i know that chanhee would definitely appreciate that the most (especially since i feel like he’s someone who would want some time and space to himself)! not to mention, they’re both precious beans and i feel like they’d brighten up each others’ and other people’s days. 

it’s like being on a roadtrip, driving past forest and towns, everything blurring together. finally, the car stops at your destinated stop and you’re parked near the beach. running out, you feel so carefree, taking in the breathtaking sunset, painting the sky with vivid orange and yellow and the waves crashing against the shore, the scent of the sea carried by the breeze.

* For Jumin, affection comes in actions-how he’ll always make sure V’s favorite wine can always be found in their home, or how he’ll book them tickets to V’s favorite theatre show, things that show he cares, because he’s not used to showing affection, but caring-that he knows and he’ll show how much he cares constantly

* V is more fond of physical affection, but it’s not his main form of showing his love either-his love is seen through his art, how all his photographs have Jumin as their model, how he paints in Jumin’s favorite colours, how he’ll draw the most gorgeous painting of Elizabeth the 3d because he knows it’ll make Jumin smile-that’s his love language :)

* Lmao for Jumin it’s absoloutely how secretive V gets to ‘protect him’-he HATES it, for him trust is everything, and hiding things=mistrust, and that’s that.

* For V, it’s how absoloute Jumin can be on certain topics, how he leaves little room for arguement-for Jumin, many topics are only black&white, no gray zone, whilst Jihyun can find the gray zone in most things, so that really furstrates him.

Seokjin 

Jin was waiting for you outside your uni. Even though you looked dead because yay school he still awed at how beautiful he thought you were.

Jin: “Happy valentines day love!” he handed you the flowers.

“Thanks Jin... I’m sorry if i look like shit i just had the longest day...”

Jin: “Oh... You feel like staying home tonight huh?” 

He had a long night planned with dinner at a super fancy restaurant, then going to a art gallery and than ending the night with a bunch of presents.

“Only because I kinda have to study, but if you had planned something we can do that! I might be a little dazed but I’ll try my best not to fall asleep hehe”

Jin shook his head and said it wasn’t anything special, he felt really bad, not because the night was cancelled but because of how tired and guilty he knew you felt. When you got home he got a new idea. While you had sat down on the couch and accidentally fallen asleep he started to cook your favorite dishes. You woke up to a table full of perfectly home cooked food and a pile of presents by the couch. 

Jin: “After dinner I’ll help you study, and every 20 minutes you’ll get a gift as a reward!”

“Jin you really didn’t have to...” you say on the verge of crying because you are the luckiest girl on the planet.

Jin: “All I want is to take care of you, I love you”

Namjoon

You have been dating Namjoon for 3 years now and you just moved in together. He is beyond passionate and generous and hot... and clumsy... When you moved in together you both shared your car because Namjoon didn’t have time to buy his own. Even though it was a small, old Nissan that your parents gave to you when you got your license, it held a lot of precious memories. Like your first roadtrip, the first time you picked up Namjoon drunk, the first time you and Namjoon fully made out... 

Let’s just say you were a little sad when Namjoon accidentaly left it on neutral when stopping on a mountain road to take pics. That car rolled right down the hill and crashed into like 200 trees on its way down.

This is the third Valentines day you spend together with him and you expect the usual, breakfast in bed, opening presents, a walk through the park to a new café and then watching a movie in the evening. But right after breakfast Joon lead you to the front door and covered you eyes right before opening the door.

Namjoon: “Suprise!! Happy Valentines Day baby” he says as he takes his hands away. 

Outside you see a brand new black Porsche Cayman. Your favorite car ever since you were little. You stand there stunned and slightly confused because he couldn’t have possibly bought it for you.

Namjoon: “It’s all yours”. He hands you the keys.

“Joon I can’t possibly accept this gift it’s way too expensive...”

Namjoon: “Hey I’ll be driving it too, but I want it to be yours since i wrecked your previous car... again I’m really sorry about that...”

“You are the best damn man a girl could wish for, clumsiness and all”

Yoongi

Being the cliche he his, when you got to his studio he gave you a huge bouquet of red roses, a teddybear holding a small red heart and a little present box. Opening the present you find some black lingerie. 

Yoongi: “How about you go swap the underwear you are wearing now to this” he smirks. 

“What if I tell you im not wearing any underwear?” you smirk back.

You had actual presents for him at his dorm but you knew he loved it when you went commando so you picked a black dress that went down your thighs and chose to skip the underwear and just wear a large coat instead.

As soon as you said that his eyes turned a little darker, his breathing a little heavier and it looked like he was doing everything he could not to jump you right there and then.

“I can’t believe I’m going to make you put on more clothes right now but it would give me some time to finish this up really quickly...”

You nodded and went to put on the lingerie, Yoongi knows you so well, the fit was perfect and it looked amazing on your curves. You opened the door to his studio and walked in. As soon as you closed the door he was pinning you against it. Because of the lingerie he couldn’t help being a little more rough than usual, which meant you were being a little louder than usual. While you were having sex in his studio Namjoon was being scarred in the studio next door.

Namjoon: *puts on headphones and turns the volume up all the way* “Fucking rabbits...”

Hoseok

You two had been dating for about 7 months when a picture of you guys leaked on twitter. Your relationship blew up and there was a mix of hate and support but BigHit didn’t feel like it was necessary to hide it any longer so you went public. 

Obviously you wanted to spend V-day with Hoseok just the two of you but they of course had to have a concert that day. Atleast he gave you VIP tickets so you could see his performance.

During the show everybody had a solo but when it was hoseoks turn everything went dark and the big screen lit up. You were shocked when you saw a picture of your face on the screen. It was playing a slideshow of the cutest pictures you and hoseok took. It showed a picture of him cuddling you while you slept, a picture of you two on your first real date, several pictures of you two kissing. You expected people to be booing but you could only hear “aaw”’s. 

The song started playing and Hoseok came out. Just then a spotlight found you. He pulled you up on stage and sat you down on a chair. At this point you were crying because you were so shocked and happy. The rest of the show was him singing his beautiful heart out being as cheesy as he possibly could.

Hoseok: “Everybody, I want to introduce you to the love of my life”

Jimin

You suspect it’s because he is secretly a little creep that likes watching you put on and take of clothes but for Valentines Day Jimin took you shopping. He said he would pay for anything you wanted because -bts money- y’know but you still didn’t want to spend too much so you acted like you didn’t like a lot of the things you tried. 

Jimin: “You look gorgeous in that! You should totally get it!” 

You looked down at the dress and saw the pricetag. 900 000 won...”Hmm... I’m not sure Jimin it’s a little uncomfortable... I’ll try something else”

Jimin smiled to himself as the female worker pocked her head out from the corner. He gave her a barely noticable nod and she quickly hurried away. You went into a bunch of high-end clothing-stores and you only had 2 small shopping bags when you were done. Even though you tried on a ton of clothes you loved they were all waaaay too expensive.

After a romantic rooftop dinner where you both swapped gifts you two headed to your apartment. When you opened your front door the entire living room was filled with shopping bags.

“What the...” you started to look inside a few of them. It was the clothes you pretended to dislike. “Jimin... this is too nice...”

“You just look so damn good in everything I couldn’t help myself.”

Taehyung

Taehyung is truly a child at heart, so when he said he has a suprise for you on Valentines Day you knew it was going to be something fun. You had spent all day in bed together talking, playing videogames and watching movies but now it was time to leave the dorm. He blindfolded you a little too well with a double layer of ribbon and a beanie, lead you into the car and started to drive. The drive felt extra long because you couldn’t see anything but after 10 songs in the car you were there.

When you stepped out of the car you kind of laughed over the fact that he tried to make sure you didn’t see anything but you could still hear perfectly. 

“OMG AN AMUSMENT PARK TAEHYUNG I LOVE YOU THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME” 

Tae: “Wait what how did you know i haven’t taken the blindfold off yet...”

“Taehyung amusment parks are pretty loud... you know screaming people, roller coasters, the arcade games...”

Tae: “wow how tf did I not think of that” he facepalmed.

You both laughed and went in. You went on all the roller coasters, Tae even won a plushie for you. The night ended with a perfect kiss at the highest spot on the ferriswheel.

Jungkook

You and Jungkook would spend Valentines Day at a beautiful cabin outside of Seoul. You two bike through the small town and stop at a cute coffee shop.

Jungkook: “So I’ve been thinking a lot about us lately...”, he sits down at the table you picked with two cups of hot chocolate.

You became slightly on edge because he looked worried. No way will he break up with you on Valentine’s Day right?

Jungkook: “This might be a little sudden since we’ve only been dating for a few months but...” he pauses and you hold your breath, scared of what he might say next.

Jungkook: “Will you come with me to my parents house this weekend? I want to take our relationship to the next level and I think they would love you... but if you think it’s too soon we can wait!” Now he is the one who’s holding his breath.

You take a moment to process, you haven’t been going out for long but you’ve been wanting to meet his parents for a while now.

“Of course Kookie I’d love to meet your family!”

Jungkook: “Great!! And I’ll probably introduce you as my girlfriend, so I hope your cool with that label.”

ok, so i was kind of stuck between him n atsumu but i really see you with kuroo ! :) i feel like physically and personality wise you two would be great together. i see atsumu being more spontaneous compared to kuroo however i feel like kuroo would come up with so many unique and cute dates that you would really enjoy, plus he'd give you choices and i think he really just wants to spend as much time with you as he can. along with this, i think he admires how hard working you are and he is definitely the type to take care of you when you're really pushing yourself. i know a lot of ppl are like 'fanon kuroo' and shit but like.. idk you're both probably rlly good with your studies (especially with him there to help you). i think studying together is something you two do often, especially around midterms/finals. while you procrastinate he'll make sure you're on track (although you two will probably mess around a bit hehe). he definitely respects your boundaries and knows when to give you space if you ever ask. he loves indulging in your hobbies with you, wanting to be with you when you're working out, dancing, or watching horror movies. and a little random note, i think he would really appreciate your fashion sense :))

We Can Still Have Nice Things

Hey guys! This will be my year-end post for 2018. I know, I know. We’re already in the second month of the year 2019 and it’s kinda late for a year ender but I don’t wanna break my streak. So, shall we start?

Before anything else, I wanna thank my dear best friend, Taylor Swift for the Rep Tour in Netflix. Gee! My girl nailed it! Agree? She is glowing! No dull moment in the show. There is a huge difference between that girl on Fearless tour and this woman on Rep Tour. But it’s weird that she is still the same. Uhm, I don’t know how to explain that properly. To my fellow swifties, you understand me, right? 😉

So back to my year-end review. I think the reason why this review got delayed so much is that I can’t find the right words to describe it (and me basically just catching up on life and sleep). This year has taught me more about adulting, about the reality of life. There is a whole lot more to things you’ve read about or heard about.

I am living alone for almost two years now. Someone broke into my place and robbed it. Good thing I was at work when that happened. This made me realize that having your own place isn’t just about having your own rules like going home whenever you want or redecorating however you want. A part of having your own place is risking your security without no one to look after you.

Adulting. Job. I am working for this company for almost two years, too. By this time, I realized that working isn’t just about going to work, then you’ll go out with your colleagues after. This isn’t just about salary. There should be more than just a job... I need career progression. And career progression requires growth, in terms of skills and attitude. I don’t have growth in both... yet. At least not yet.

I lost my phone twice this year. Twice, babe. The first time was because of my plain stupidity recklessness. The second time was because it was stolen. From my bag. Seriously, I was just hearing this kind of stuff in the news until happened to me. I was shaken.

Friends. This age is when realize that spending time with friends isn’t easy. Reason: work and all the other things in between.

Another thing in adulting, being part of big family decision. It is a big responsibility. Trust me. It is. We just moved out of my grans and gramps house. A big decision.

We are getting deep, are we? All serious, are we? But hey, you know what? Despite of all these hard truths, realizations, I would say we can still have nice things. A lot of nice things!

Let’s start with friends. Need I say more? Having friends who would be there for you no matter what. I have friends who are willing to leave work just to assure that you have found a new and safe place. I have friends who walks me home. I have friends who makes time for me no matter how hard it is to balance it from work. I have friends who I can talk to about whatever. Real friends.

Opportunity. Room for growth. It’s a nice thing to know where my head is at. Admitting what’s lacking means I can start making way to achieve what I want. Time to make my job nicer. Hey self, nicer career! You can do it!

Arts and music. I have been to international conference for the first time this year. #PSConf! I have been to my first international concert as well. Hi Boyce Avenue! Music is doing well in the country too. OPM’s not dead, you guys! I was able to watch Moira and Ben&Ben live! (December Ave and The Juans last year) It’s been a while since I watched a professional musical play, so I did watch this year too. My museum visit didn’t meet my quota but still was able to visit.

Travels. Roadtrips. I have been to long roadtrips this year. And it’s so fun especially when you’re with the people that are dear to you. Long drives and revisiting my favorite city at midnight. Hehe. There’s just something about Tagaytay at midnight and you’re driving around with windows down. Nice things.

My family will always be part of the nice things. Always. I love them so much.

To the One above, thank You for all the experiences that made me appreciate all the nice things you gave and still giving me. You are the nicest! (That’s an understatement.)

Hey you. We can still have nice things. You just have to see it. Believe me, okay? Your are even a nice thing yourself. (Well you are not a thing but you know what I mean) So smile babe and start to be a nice thing to others as well. 😊

2019 will be more than nice. I can already feel you being competitive from here.

Back in 1973 a Private. Thompson was found north of Hue in Vietnam. This was 2 years after a copter carrying him and his squad crashed and were thought to have either been captured by the Vietcong or dead.

After medical examination of Thompson and a psychological exam he was condemned insane and sent back to the states to an mental institution. He hardly spoke from his rescue to his death in 1989 from a fire in the institute. A major reason for being sent to the states back in 1973 was that he cut out both eyes and when asked he spoke " So I can't see him "
