Shingen x Kennyo

They give divorced vibes. Shingen still flirts w the scarred man but Kennyo is intent on pushing his ex away while he's on this foolish revenge path, not wanting to hurt him anymore than he already had.

Kennyo x Ranmaru

Again, I feel like Yoshimoto has the ability to calm people and I feel like the unpredictable Motonari needs that & would get hooked on the man. Plus, pirates r a very homoerotic group, what with them being alone at sea w just each other for company (look it up! History is great) and Yoshi would be considered a great beauty among them-Motonari would be beating the other men off with a stick!

Motonari x Ranmaru

Idk abt personality wise but I had an idea for an au where Ranmaru pretends to be a cabin boy on Motonari's ship in order to get info and all the pirates r won over by his charming, idol-like persona-except Motonari. Ranmaru is determined to crack the man's devil may care facade, at first because of his mission but quickly changes to his own interest. Idk i just think that'd be neat :)

Mitsuhide x Ranmaru

Mitsuhide suspects Ranmaru's up to something and in order to find out the truth he gets closer to the lad. When Ranmaru is found out to be a traitor Mitsuhide is the one who must torture him but he can't bear to do it and lets him go. For Ranmaru's part he has fallen for the man and torn between his loyalty to his master and love for Mitsuhide. The angst is piping hot.

Keiji x Kanetsugu

Something definitely happened between these two while they were spying together 😏 no doubt abt it. This ship got that good enemies to friends to lovers vibe going on and I for one think they'd be a power couple.

Shingen x Kanetsugu

But what abt Kenshin?! you ask. Kanetsugu is definitely in love with his lord. And Shingen knows it. But that man would flirt with a pole. He has absolutely no scruples when it comes to flirting and loves trying to get a reaction out of Kanetsugu. He knows just the spots to poke too.

Ok so maybe thats more something Nobu would say to Hideyoshi but fanon doesn't have to be canon compliant!!! Whereas Hideyoshi would choke and splutter being told that by his lord, Kanetsugu would remain stoic and silently do as he was ordered. Kenshin would probably get bored of this behaviour and idk if he'd ever feel romantic love for his vassal...ooh the angst!

I can imagine Nobunaga getting bored of Keiji's mask and figuring out ways to rip it open and mess it up.

Ieyasu respects the man but thinks of him as too much of a flirt to take his advances seriously until one day Shingen snaps and...let's just say things escalate 😏👀
